me a week ago: huh, i thought for sure es’ episode would be the season finale... must be something big going on in pickman’s episode...
me this evening: oh wow, this episode is two and a half hours long... something big is going on in pickman’s episode...
me now: .......... well! Something Big sure did Go On in pickman’s episode!
#mine#f@tt liveblogging#friends at the table#f@tt spoilers#sangfielle#spoilers in the tags spoilers in the taaaaaaaaaaaags i just need to make this tag long enough to cut 'em all off#................................................................................................................ okay. are we good?#YEP WE ARE HERE WE GO#i. cannot beLIEVE. that 3/6 players drew jokers pretty much RIGHT off the bat#the power of the heart/shape/course/etc. is REAL#for a moment i thought for sure that jack and austin were going to do an impromptu tower game#(considering. how high up zevunzolia is)#but now i really want to try a visit to san sibilia for myself! this and anamnesis both are very cool#(also i have both of them on itch bc they were in the ttrpgs for trans rights in tx bundle so i can make that a reality!)#the thing i thought was really interesting about this finale was like. how low-stakes but also deeply impactful it was#because we've already had the big climaxes of this season! (chine's death and the destruction of blackwick)#but at the same time......... it's VERY hard to imagine the pickman at the beginning of the season#doing the things she does in this specific scenario#which i think really speaks to how interestingly and compellingly she's unfolded as a character over the course of this season#and now that pickman's had this experience and this literal perspective on the world(s)#i'm VERY excited to see how that carries forward
