Somebody on Reddit asked for people's input on how weddings would look like in the different houses and this is my two cents:
Eighth House weddings are full of rituals and praying to the necrolord, it's all very silvery white, lots of veils and bleeding, very chaste and yet there's this air of eroticism, especially with the soul-siphoning stuff between necromancers (my body is yours, my soul is yours, etc).
Fifth House is very classic and what you'd expect, well, until they get to the spirit summoning part of the event where they summon long-dead antecessors and ask for their blessings. Again lots of blood and theorems, but in this one they're actually having fun. (Lots of circle dancing I'd add.)
Seventh House is very procession-like, lots of flower wreaths and crowns, flower sculptures even. Those weddings smell bad it's what I'm saying (like a funeral). It doesn't reach the level of ninth house skull makeup, but something ghostlike about the way they paint themselves for the ceremony. I think at some point they'd "drown" the couple (very close to a baptism) to revive them into this new life of commitment. Animal sacrifices may ensue but depends on the couple... probably a cow.
