if a fash enters your space and tries to drag you into a "debate", with or without harassing you,

do not engage! you block and move on if you're online, or you walk away if it's irl, especially if you're outnumbered-- and if you're in public you can generally count yourself outnumbered, because the general public is NOT on your side. they are neutral at best and WILL SIDE AGAINST YOU IF YOU HAPPEN TO GET PHYSICAL, EVEN IF THE FASH PROVOKED YOU. and that's without mentioning the law, which is 100% against you, and no one in the justice system will treat you fairly.

that's like the most basic rule of being on the left ok. DON'T LET THEM INTO YOUR SPACE, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND ENERGY ON THEM, AND DON'T TRY TO FIGHT THEM ON YOUR OWN

they don't want a debate and they will not listen. what they DO want is to drain you, humiliate you, and waste your time. do not engage. i know you wanna seem tough and useful to the cause, but you're achieving nothing; knowing when to pick your battles is good.

also yes, anarchy and everything, but when an elder in your group advises you on certain things, maybe fucking listen. use your critical thinking, but also pay attention to what people with more experience are saying, because we're trying to keep your asses safe
