Okay if I'm going to enter this whole clay sculpting thing into ArtPrize--because why the hell not--it's going to be all three parts of the minotaur series, plus Prometheus and Icarus. I think I want a third single-figure sculpt, also from greek mythology, and I was leaning towards Medusa but I'm not fully decided. It would have to be a relatively well known one. Suggestions?

I know your question was supposed to be quick but the rabbit hole you just sent me to??? NOT QUICK AT ALL!!! First of all, I had to check where this was coming from. I thought it was some fan cast about the book but it's not!! This is the Stranger Things play in London AAAAAH!!!! (anyone who's going to this, I'm so jealous of you!!)

I had no idea Eddie's dad would be one of the characters and now I'm more curious than EVER!!

second of all, I had to see who this actor is. So I googled it and Google was like "he was in Everybody's Talking About Jamie" and I was like "wow cool" and then Google was like "he played Jamie" and I was like "WHAT???" Not only did I not recognize him at all, I think it's a very interesting choice considering he's not very... queer friendly in most fan canons ahahah

And lastly, I know this is just a play and actors can look very different but I had to look for any resemblance with Eddie!! I think the poster does a great job giving you some similarities (curly hair!!!) but also I've found these

The amnesty cover art vs the balance cover art is so funny to me cuz I can look at the amnesty one and got “oh those are my pals, my buds the pine guard, hi :)” but the balance cover art is like “who the fuck are these guys?????”

Did you intentionally encorporate the different classical elements into your mythology pieces? I find it really cool that they match up pretty well: prometheus being fire, narcissus is water, orpheus as earth, icarus as air, and then the minotaur as aether. Whether intentional or not, theyre very very cool c:

Actually yeah! Before I'd decided to make Narcissus, this Icarus had been planned to fill the water element.

really fucking funny that fit was trying to create a torment nexus with the player data storyline only for the torment nexus be created irl in such a fast and horrifying manner it had to be scrapped for being overdone/too on the nose. like jesus christ but also that’s fucking hilarious

hm i'm curious. do u think icarus (prime) would act more like a bird or like a deer. bc he has features of both animals in him and i always ponder on which instincts he would inherit
