Tagged by @beelogic
Yay! A tag thing! I didn’t even realise beelogic knew I existed so getting tagged was a surprise. But how could I say no to someone with a Luka icon??
B - Butterfly on Your Right Shoulder by Nori-P (Kagamine Len version)
A - Antichlorobenzene by Owata-P (Kagamine Rin original)
N - No Logic by JimmyThumb-P (Megurine Luka original)
A - A Love Story of a Certain Bakeneko by Nem (Kagamine Len original)
N - Nostalogic by Yuukiss (the MEIKO-SAN mix with Meiko)
A - ACUTE by Kurousa-P (Kaito, Hatsune Miku, Megurine Luka original)
T - The Tailor of Enbizaka by Akuno-P/mothy (Megurine Luka original)
R - Revolution (End) by Ichigyou-P (Rin/Len original, and yes I know the official English title is different but this is the one I know it for)
A - Ashes to Ashes by Tennen (Len Append Serious cover, I don’t remember where I heard this cover or who did it but I’ve adored it since I heard it)
S - Servant of Evil by Akuno-P/mothy (Kagamine Len original)
H - Happy Synthesizer by EasyPop (Luka/Gumi original)
S - Seven Crimes and Punishments by Akuno-P/mothy (the original)
E - Enclosure by Signal-P (Rin/Len original)
N - No No Alien by Iyaiya-P (Megurine Luka original)
P - Palette by Yuyoyuppe (The Desire Path arrange with Megurine Luka)
A - A Single Red Leaf by Kurousa-P (Megurine Luka version)
I - I’m tied between It’s My Road Roller by Meiyokaichou-P (Rin/Len original) or Imitator by Uta-P (Len original) since they’re both classics and I love them to bits
I hope I did this right? Anyways I tag @masterofthesepticyard @barisolbehemo @irinyaclockworker because my mind went mostly to Vocaloid and Evillious with this so it’s only right to tag Vocaloid/Evillious blogs right? Also cause my mind is blanking on friends to tag and these two are my more recent mutuals soooo yee! Also also the names are long so I’m interested in how many different songs they can list. Is it obvious who my favourites are?

VOCALOID LEGENDS - 2011 Part 3
74 - Happy Synthesizer (EasyPop) [Megurine Luka, GUMI]
Achievement Date: 11-07-05 Upload Date: 10-11-22 Still one of the more bizarre combinations of VOCALOIDS, but the combination is just one of the things which makes the song special. The lyrics feel very odd to me. The advice feels fresh but also a bit cloying at times, although it might be the translations. Feels in line with songs of this caliber. But that key shift at the end always gets me.
75 - Melancholic (Junky) [Kagamine Rin]
Achievement Date: 11-07-12 Upload Date: 10-04-19 One of the most iconic songs, although the tuning is incredibly odd for a 2010 song. Honestly feels more like a 2008 song than anything, and the balance is off? But the rocking beat and the infamous tsundere lyrics makes the song stick. But yeah, definitely one of the songs where you might listen to covers more than anything. Sorry!
76 - Mrs. Pumpkin’s Humorous Dream (Hachi) [Hatsune Miku]
Achievement Date: 11-07-18 Upload Date: 09-10-12 Of course, Hachi will make a halloween song, and it will be one of more memorable songs, covered by many during the holiday, which is odd considering how macabre the song is here. But there is a sense of joy and jubilance that fits throughout the song. The drum solo is, in a word, inspired, and the classical influence makes the song stand out from others in the same era. Perhaps the progenitors to many to come after.
77 - The Lunacy of Duke Venomania (MothyP) [Gakupo]
Achievement Date: 11-08-13 Upload Date: 10-07-26 Third in the The Evillious Chronicles to be on this list, and much more of an electronic sound for this one. We’re in a very different era to the Evil duo, I believe (the series spans centuries) and the song very much fits Gakupo’s concept of a womanizer, and the electronic turn also fits what Gakupo is known for. Certainly more typical of the fare of the era we’re in the review, but still unique enough to worth a mention.
78 - FREELY TOMORROW (Mitchie M) [Hatsune Miku]
Achievement Date: 11-08-20 Upload Date: 11-07-31 Considering the masterpiece of tuning when it came out, it was for the longest time one of the fastest songs to reach a million views. Still a classic, and demonstrates the strength of Mitchie M’s idol style, which only became more prominent as time went on. Doesn’t the lyrics feel oddly sexual? I think that’s the thing with Mitchie M.
79 - Overthrow (Completed) (Ichigyou-P) [Kagamine Rin, Len]
Achievement Date: 11-09-02 Upload Date: 08-04-02 The revolutionary lyrics and the funky beat really makes the song stick. The song is a lament about the secondary nature of Rin and Len, but the song demonstrates the strength of the dynamic duo. Seriously for a lesser-known song, this might be my favorite of this batch of songs actually. (Maybe I like Len… am I that lame?)

playlist tag
my brain is fried from math, chemistry, and my flute sounding really bad so this’ll be lackluster (warning in advance)
tagged by @aetudes <3 (yeah I’m so wrecked from studying I can’t even do the myth thing)
Rules: We’re snooping on your playlist. Set your entire music library to shuffle and report the first ten tracks that pop up! Then choose ten additional victims.
(wow most of my playlist is Vocaloid music, looks like I should really expand my horizons)
Pomp and Circumstance (Ifuudoudou) // Umetora
Meltdown (Roshin Yuukai) // iroha (sasaki)
Gekokujou // Ichigyou-P
EveR ∞ LastinG ∞ NighT // Hitoshizuku-P and Yama△
World’s End Dancehall // wowaka
Corrupted Flower (Haitoku no Hana) //  Hitoshizuku-P and Yama△
Madness of Duke Venomania (Venomania-kou no Kyouki) // akuno-P
Judgment of Corruption (Akutoku no Jajjimento) // akuno-P
SHOOT ON TOKYO! // SCL Project
Just Be Friends // Dixie Flatline
considering that my playlist is 80% music by Hitoshizuku-P and Yama, I’m surprised I only got two of their songs on here lol
In other news, Danzas Cubanas (Robert Sheldon) came up as #11 and I was WAITING for it to be one of the 10 gdi (Danzas is my most favourite wind symphony song ever)
-goes through my list of mutuals- tagging: @einstetic @victoryrolls @gradespiration @studyhelen @st-uhdying @perasperaadmed @echostudies @studyoncaffiene  @word-candy-studies @m-ediblr
//i need more mutuals LOL that’s gonna be my post exams mission

The Kagamines recount their 9 roles with various producers over the years, inspired by "Garfield's 9 Lives"
Producer 1 ~ Meiyokaichou-P
Len: Meiyokaichou-P is one of the many producers we worked with during our early years of VOCALOID fame, he's best remembered by for teaching Rin and me how to rap, and his very first song: "Big Fat Yellow Road Roller", featuring us of course.
Rin: It was also the very song that made us realized that we have fallen in love with our first character item: the Road Roller itself, I mean sure, that alongside the "wryyyyyyy" sound is mostly based off of the old Jojo memes before they became mainstream, but we're not complaining, he he he he.
Len: Yeah, we also like Bananas and Oranges to.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Producer 2 ~ Ichigyou-P
Rin: If this name doesn't ring a bell to the newer fans, we understand, we haven't heard much from him since his retirement. Regardless though, we haven't forgot what he did for us a long time ago.
Len: Y'see, we've only been around for 6 months since our creation, and yet Miku-Nee chan was still at the top of the charts and we kinda got a little miffed about it, so we had Ichigyou-P help us in our "Kagamine Nation campaign" to get to the top in the form of his well known hit: "Gekokujou (kan)"...we're cool with Miku now so don't worry.
Rin: Don't forget that he was also known for using my voice to provide Neru-chan's voice instead of using Miku-Nee chan.
Len: Aw man, I still can't get over that.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Producer 3 ~ Dixie Flatline
Rin: Dixie Flatline, also known as "Gemini no Hito", is one of the many Producers to have their best known songs being in the "Project Diva" games by SEGA, you may have heard of his songs "Just be friends" and "Torinoko City" from it. His first song and second namesake "Gemini" was among them, which were gonna talk about because it has us in it.
Len: It was also during that time where me and Rin had a bit of a temporary fallout, but collaborating with Dixie-san helped us get back together, it also helped us realize that even loved ones can fight sometimes but will always be by your side no matter what.
Rin: Love ya, banana head.
Len: Me to, orange butt XD
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Producer 4 ~ Kurousa-P
Len: Kurousa-P, also known as Whiteflame, is a bit of a controversial user so to speak, he's remembered by older Project Diva fans for his song "Cantarella", but he is best known by the majority of the fanbase, both Japanese and overseas, for Miku-Nee san's mega hit "Senbonzakura", some even called it "Japan's Unofficial National anthem", and we can see why it be the case.
Rin: Indeed, because as beloved as it is overseas, it did however sorta faced some criticism by those who accused the song of being related to "Japanese Propaganda", mainly due to it's imagery and lyrics being a little bit war-like, I even heard it was removed from the Korean version of Project Diva.
Len: That's all were gonna say about it, we don't wanna bring anymore politics and controversy into it...Also please don't flame us about it, we were just doing our jobs.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Producer 5 ~ OSTER project
Rin: Can we say that OSTER project is one of our favorite Producers to work with? Besides making some incredible Pop and Jazz songs, she's also best known for her creative takes on "Alice in Wonderland" and "The Wizard of Oz", making musicals out of them.
Len: It took me sometime to sing in English right, it's not my first language after all.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Producer 6 ~ Hitoshizuku-P
Len: Hitoshizuku-p, also known as Samo, is best known by the fanbase for her songs and written works containing three things: Piano, story telling, and how well she uses mine and Rin's voices...especially me, he he he.
Rin: Len!
Len: What? She gained the title of "Legendary LEN Master" because of me!
Rin: Anyways, aside from what Len said, she, alongside her buddies from teamOS, are also known for the "Synchronicity" series and "Night infinity" series.
Len: Oh yeah I like "Synchronicity", too bad it had to end on a cliffhanger, though.
Rin: That's what fanfiction's for, dude.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Producer 7 ~ mothy
Rin: Much like Hitoshizuku-p, mothy, also known as Akuno-P, is best known by both older and newer fans alike for how well he uses mine and Len's voices as well as his songs containing story telling. The only difference however is that said storytelling became a humongous series with multiple songs comprised into one big narrative with lots of characters, both Synthesizers and non-Synthesizers, thus given it's name: the "Evillious series", or "the Evillious Chronicles" by overseas fans. And the majority of the series is very...morbidly dark...and confusing as all heck.
Len: *Vomiting in the other room*
Rin: Many fans who are new to the series often enter it through many of it's arcs, "Deadly Sins of Evil" and the "Daughter of Evil" being one of it's best known gateway arcs for fans.
Len: *Still vomiting*
Rin: Sorry about Len, it's just that his characters usually get the short end of stick in the series, with "Servant of Evil", the song that landed mothy into popularity, being the prime suspect. To this day he can't even look at anything that resembles a guillotine without getting flashbacks.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Producer 8 ~ Giga-P
Len: Phew, Sorry about the last chapter, anyways, Giga-P was actually a fun Producer to work with, best known for his techno and pops works and his high-energy arrange covers, he's also a decent Utaite to.
Rin: Is it because he's a "Legendary LEN Master"?
Len: Nooooooooooo...I mean he is, but that's not the reason, my reason is because I get to show off the goods in "Childish War", his version of "World's End Dancehall", may Wowaka rest in peace, and my favorite: "Gigant-"
Rin: OH GOD NO! SHUT UP, YOU PERVERT!
Len: YOU'RE JUST JEALOUS, RIN!
Rin: Oh yeah, may I remind of "Shota Sho-"
Len: NO! ANYTHING BUT THAT DX
Rin: Yeah that's what I thought XD
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Producer 9 ~ Nori-P
Rin: And now last but not least: Nori-P, he's best known for making two versions of "Butterfly on Your Right Shoulder", mines being made first, and Len's being made next. We haven't heard from him for 8 years since then until he called me back in 2018 to make "Haru no arashi"
Len: I'm still confused about why my version somehow got more popular than Rin's for some reason, maybe because of said goods.
Rin: Oh Len.
Len: I'm just saying.
