A faint knock is heard at the door of The Fool's door. Outside, a lone mannequin stands, holding a small basket full of all sorts of various trinkets. "Hello! I heard we had a new hunter arrive recently and wished to introduce myself properly. I've also brought a few welcome gifts along with me for you as well huhu!."

Azathoth perks his hands up slightly, and switches the position of the vessel. The vessel laid in the right, sat up as the right seems to lower itself similar to that of a chair. The left remained tall and high, moving towards the door and opening it. Tilting the vessel's head to the side with a simple poke, the mask seems to have become perplexed.

"Is this something children of man do? How... strange. ...Nevermind that, it's a pleasure to meet you."

What... exactly were welcome gifts though? Unsure what to exactly do, the left lowers itself and simply presented its palm. He didn't exactly want to pick up the vaguely familiar, as in having felt it briefly in the passing, presence.

"I suppose it would be improper for me not to ask this, so what is your name, child of man? The winds doesn't seem to exactly have caught it... well, Oig-Oig and Ari haven't seem to caught most other hunters' names."

The mask on the vessel warps into a question mark rather than expression this time.

The manor echoes with the pained shrieks of a ghastly steed, one mounted by a hellish knight. For the innocent and faithful, he may be a hero in shining armor. To the rest, he may be little more than a demon. Regardless of the feelings of others, The Cavalier will do what must be done.

Info:

The Cavalier is the hunter identity of Amadeus LeClair, The Inquisitor, who has appeared on @ask-idv-shepherd. He is a 28 year old man who was trained since childhood to serve his church's will no matter what. To this end, he has struck a deal with a demon and rides the revived carcass of his horse, Fae. Typically, he is cold and rigid, but for a select few, his soft spots may show through.

External Traits:

Baphomet's Mark - Marked by his deal, The Cavalier spreads the curse to his own benefit. Whenever he strikes a survivor, the gain Baphomet's Mark if they do not have it already. If The Cavalier is stummed by any means, the stun time is split among himself and those who are marked. Marked Survivors lose the curse when this effect takes place.

Shapeshift:

0> Trusty Steed - Revived to serve her master, Fae remains loyal even now. The Cavalier may summon his steed to grant himself a 20% buff to movement speed, vaulting speed and pallet breaking speed. Swinging at survivors will end the ride regardless of whether or not it lands.

1000> Lookout - The Cavalier can designate a patrol route for Fae to follow. If Fae spots a survivor within 30 meters, she will call for her master and reveal the survivors aura for 3 seconds. Fae will continue to patrol until the patrol time has ended or The Cavalier uses Trusty Steed.

2500> Loyalty - The buffs granted by Trusty Steed are increased to 30%

A finger pushes Azathoth's head to the side, limply cocking it to the side. A laugh echoes within the area, it seems the question seems to amuse the eldritch god immensely. Two fingers lift up the wrists of the vessel and clumsily claps the hand of it.

"How humourous! What a silly question! Why should one wonder about life especially since I suspect you are a child of man, no? Or maybe you are a child of hexapod? If you worry your head about such things, you'll attract my grandchildren. They're fond of knowledge seekers, those who think too much."

The hands shift once more, the vessel's head being propped back up as a finger lifts a hand up to the chin. The tip of the finger splits into small tendrils as it wraps itself around the vessel's fingers, making it look as if it were pondering the question. The head tilts again, this time by gravity.

"Moments I cherish? I have plenty. Though, I have faint memories of a court playing instruments and singing me a lullaby, it's a sweet one. Ah! Though... maybe giving uppies to Hastie is a moment to cherish too. What do you think is a moment to cherish, child of man or hexapod?"
