#I'll take good care of her~#*ahem*#the stuff in caps is from me earlier when i first had the idea #she wanted that to be the text but didnt think i might want to.. talk about the drawing process. thats why this awkward transition is here #anyway.. when drawing characters simply i like to draw them like little miis or perhaps teru teru bōzu #thats why her skirt is longer and why she doesnt have arms #also.. i dont use colored pencils often. and while i do have quite a few this is the closest i could get to the Bocchi the Hot! Pink #(or should it be Bocchi the Hot Pink! ?)#anyway.. i also only wanted to use the Bocchi the Hot! had an odd dream that i was reading a comic book. sketched a couple of the pages i could remember.

#i might adapt this into an actual story because i am SO SO SO mad that it isn't a thing i can go back to reading #oc #im definitely keeping the concept of save-bot i fucking love save-bot he's just doing his best. i love a robot who wants to help people #im not equipped to be writing about underground rebellions with any sense of real tact though #besides its in a superhero universe/story so you know it would just be so sucks lol #sketch #god the colors were so interesting. the teal parts were all very precisely crosshatched and the fire was this gorgeous brush pen looking #colored inks that just seemed like they were MOVING #and i mean some of that was because i was dreaming but god even in my halfhearted copy you can see some of the movement #it was a bad scene but a really really REALLY fun dream. i love when a book can *get* to me so i was really enjoying it #put it aside so i could take a break and woke up. instant fury at the universe for not having it be a real book instead #ill reblog with details if anyone's curious. i can explain this scene but i dont feel like it #the green people are in a secret basement though. hiding from the government. blue jacket guy is a speedster robot named save-bot who does #rescue stuff with every fire department so fire suppression technology is not very good because save-bot "can just save you''#however they're badly over their legal occupancy and the secret basement has One (1) exit so everyone is like really fucked here.#includinig save-bot who is going to do his job until he dies because he is an ai without any sense of self preservation and he cares #which i didn't even CATCH until i woke up and started tryin to frantically note everything down #and then i was like wait. the glitter on that last page before i realized i needed a glass of water to keep reading... what WAS that...#(it was tears suspended in midair because save-bot goes so fast and also knows he's so fucked LOL)#seriously i'm so mad someone else didn't make this.

Realism is fun till it isn’t and I realize I’ve already committed too far and can’t just scrap it but I know it will take me too long so here are some sacrifices you may see finished later on

#dragon #myart #creature #I still generally have inspiration for the first one so that one will probably get finished first #I really like watching the speedpaints procreate automatically records even though it’s crunchy and has a weird green tint #specifically on realism because it’s wild for anything else and is actually psychotic #Mostly because I just suddenly start experimenting with brushes and start turning layers off and on for a good chunk of it #I use 3 layers usually for realism #One for the actual drawing one for the sketch and one for a base color #It makes it better I think because it’s more similar to actual painting or something #That might not be the reason I dont really know #It’s just better I do it that way #Maybe because I can’t get distracted and lost?#Realism is also a great source of learning for me #Even if i never really finish stuff like this #I might this time though who knows #Sorry for leaving you guys stranded I’m chasing a really big train across the country #My priorities are with locomotives #“You guys” (I say to my very few followers 🤑🤑 (that probably followed me in the first place for dragon adventures stuff))#I do what I want and what I want is not dragon adventures right now #Right now I want locomotive #I’m not hijacking that train it sounds like I’m going to hijack that train #however #i would appreciate owning a big train I feel like I would enjoy that #Side note how do my DA followers feel about the genetic traits in the event eggs making motorouk w/ the error trait worth like 100mil #I feel ill when I can recite all of the full species names from memory #It does make sense though I’ve been playing since the first event in 2019 #I’m committed what can I say #Almost forgot a tag oops #art

its past midnight and here i am planning a sweater i have neither the materials nor funds to make

#once 10:30 hits i enter a fugue state and i just start making shit #i was like making little drawings and grid patterns and looking at knitting patterns for few hours and then 10 hit-#-and i was like ohh. okay so i have to make a mockup right now #so i put on one of these really long series recap videos and just went to town with the yarn and needles i had #im not going to use these colours (maybe the same cream shade but i dont have enough rn anyways) bc i want a darker green #but idk if i will use a different weight of yarn im not sure about that yet #i think it looks really good in just standard weight (worsted or w/e) but ik it would take a v long time and strain my wrists/arms a lot :(#so idk what i will do about that. maybe ill look at the same style of sweater but w/ thicker yarn to see examples #basically i want to make one of those christmas sweaters that have the patterns at the top + bottom trim but tma style #its supposed to look like open and closed eyes if that wasnt clear #and i might do lettering in the middle if it will fit? i wanted to do the whole ''ceaseless watcher'' phrase but it would def not fit sooo #just the name is fine. i will maybe put one on each side (front + back) or if theres room for like 3+ than i could do a repeating pattern #its going to take a lot of math + planning tho so O_o wish me luck #i dont even have yarn yet lol idk what im talking about #i gotta get to bed....#tma #the magnus archives #ceaseless watcher #my art #kinda #knitting is art

we have a glaze at the studio- well actually two. two glazes that are meant to be blue. but every time someone else uses them they are green but when i use them they are perfectly fine and blue and im like what are yall DOING to make this happen.

It's the same media but a different person. Like i was so dead-set on Robin but because I've seen so many Argenti cosplays recently I wanna do him now.

Not even trying to make his armor just like. A pseudo closet cosplay w/ the Nameless Bard shirt, my black boots, an old rose prop I have.. and then figure out the pants, corset belt, and wig styling.

But there's still Robin,, and I literally Just bought a yard of lace fabric to make her blouse (this is my reference) 💔
