also, i gotta say for a while I was convinced the love potion fic was gonna go another angle where its like. gillion explains to chip that jay got hit w the love potion towards chip and chips brain just plays a montage of. potioned jay looking at him and sobbing all day (preferably set to the curb your enthusiasm theme).

like we know from jay’s perspective WHY but it’s so fucking funny (slash horrifyingly sad) from chips. like that’s just the Loving Chip Jrwi Experience. local woman mourning over loving chip jrwi.

GODDDDD FINALLY SOME SENSIBLE PEOPLE ON THIS SITE (mockingjay enjoyers). It’s such an underrated ship and it’s so unpopular but it’s actually means everything to me. I’m so normal about mockingjay (it’s honestly prob my default ship tbh)

I don’t think gill honestly would’ve like thought to do that, he was more concerned about the fact that JAY was upset and was gonna 100% try and wingman her bc he didn’t really understand the whole love potion thing. I also straight up had no idea what to do with that scene after I started the convo w jay and gill (I was gonna cut it out tbh). Gillion was tryna work this out logically like “do you really love him?” And try and talk it through which obviously wouldn’t work when Jay’s emotions and rational thoughts r all on the fritz from the potion.

But yeah Jay really would’ve been sobbing the whole day over this not bc she’s in love with Chip but because she’s SO in love with him it’s overwhelming. Chip ofc would’ve taken it the other way and DID take it the other way tbh in he’s certain she doesn’t actually love him and it’s just the potion (even tho she does actually love him).

I was gonna have a scene in the fic that didn’t end up fitting in cuz I didn’t know how to put it there where jay would admit to getting hit by the love potion to Chip after he finds her to try and comforts her. And he asks jay who she got affected by, like who the potion manifested on. And she just stares at him and she’s clinging in his lap and hugging him so tight and just starts sobbing harder and he realizes like “oh”. Didn’t make it in but I think of it often.
