:D CAN OF WORMS: OPENED!! i'll tell u abt how they got found as Jedi

ok so Sayuri is one of the students that doesn't rlly go home bc there isn't much to go back to. Basically her parents were Rebellion pilots (or one was a pilot the other a mechanic. kinda unsure) but were both killed in action against the Empire abt 3-4ABY ish. obvs the Rebellion couldn't look after a 7-8yo while fighting the Empire

so the remainder of the squad manage to get her back to her parents' home village/ where she was born. so having like Everything change all at once leaves her pretty ?? and gives her some serious trusting-her-environment issues. her coolgirl "i dont care" persona is very much a result of this bc she's worried abt getting too comfy in smthn. (which is at odds w the OTHER issue she got from this event which is "deathly afraid of flying" an issue not helped if Master "traffic laws are just guidelines" Skywalker is piloting. but she tries 2 act like shes fine)

this is gonna get kinda long so im gonna smack some unposted art here and then go into a readmore

anyway fast forwarding to when Sayuri's abt 13 (roughly 9aby) she's visiting her parent's old squadron on a New Republic bc they'd all come visit whenever she could and after the Empire's fall they did a lot more pick her up and fly her to a base to ALL see her. and they're like omg Sayuri you came at the PERFECT time bc this rlly amazing pilot war hero who's also some like. mystical whatever is here!! he's on his way to some magic place we heard. maybe u can meet him!! which sayuri meets w her usual whatever bc she's not that gassed abt war heroes.

very worth noting that the squad's probably all seen her move shit with her mind, but theyre like oh you know how it is with teenage girls. the "nobody knows what a jedi is" + "the empire existed for a decent bit of her childhood" thing has kept anyone from being like yeahh sayuri should like. talk to someone abt this.

anyway she goes along when the squad are like c'mon let's see if we can see him. ok the only way i can describe this is you know the spiderverse like... spidey-sense recognition thing? that's basically what happens LOL Luke and Sayuri both have a FORCE USER RECOGNISED?? moment and Luke then makes a beeline for her then realises oh shit tiny teenager not jedi. would you LIKE to be a jedi?? and sayuri who hates her village and is feeling the strongest emotional connection she's felt in forever w this stranger she met 2 seconds ago is like okay fuckin sure yeah. and woo jedi!!

So Sayuri falls into the "one of the Jedi found them thru the force or by chance" category of students who get found. However Nymie very much falls into the second category, which is "CAN SOMEONE DEAL WITH THIS WEIRD SUPERPOWERED CHILD FOR US????"

So 2 things about Nymie: 1. like i've said before, she's from a very rich high class pantoran family. super stuck up, mostly raised by nannies & tutors, but somehow Nymie just didn't get the stuck-up genes like all her (4!!) siblings who are just obsessed w their social standing etc and is instead just :D all the time. 2. her proficiency ig is the living force esp in the 'good at connecting to animals' way (which I think means I legally need to draw her w Ezra).

so the former often led her to escaping her family's stuffy parties and galas or whatever (usually to whoever's house it is' garden or somewhere she wasnt meant to be) to find something interesting. usually a pet <3 one particular time when she was 9 she was following her Pet Sense but couldnt find anything in the house. so she kinda just reached out more and long story short thats how Nymie managed to call this hugemassive beast (i'd tell u what it was if i knew pantoran animals LOL) out of the nearby countryside to her. massively distressing for everyone, all these rich ppl were like "OH MY GOD I NEARLY DIED" (it didnt attack anyone). very funny exciting time for Nymie who was enjoying this new beastie friend til animal control showed up. saddening. everyone is confused bc HOW did that happen

a dude old (and cool) enough to have seen more than one jedi in their heyday (+ idk uni researcher knows his shit) noticed what happened w it going straight to Nymie and overheard her account and realised what happened and was like hi nymie's parents. i think u need to get into contact w the new republic bc thats a jedi right there (which they take and go oo social climbing. we have a jedi child people will think we're cooler. bc theyre assholes)

and yeah im losing steam now but luke shows up and she joins the academyyay!

A/N:This ep is gonna not even be any ep from the show so i will add some names hear and there from time to time so like..OC’S? I will use Thai names for the oc to make it more easy to get in character ig?

Laughter..The feeling of being mocked...Her...Everywhere you go...you cant escape her...the girl that introduced herself as..Nanno. In class the teacher introduced a new girl named Nanno as she sat new to Cheng. As class contuined you noticed Nanno keeps looking around the room like shes looking for something...or someone. As you keep looking at her she looks at you..wait...at me? She smiled at you as you looked away..but you kept feeling her stare at you but you ignored it.

As classes ended you grabbed your stuff and left the classroom. As you were walking down the hall you felt a tap on your shoulder as you looked behind you to see Nanno. She smiled sweetly but her smile looked...almost fake? “Hello im Nanno! I was wondering if you could show me around?” she asked with that smile. You thought about it before sighing giving your head a nod and signl her to follow as she did “Not much of a talker are you?” she asked tilting her head

As you showed her around school she kept asking questions about the school and sometimes you which sometimes you would answer or sometimes give no reply. After you finished showing her around you guys where outside while she was doing most of the talking which you didn’t mind. “So are we like.. best friends no-”before Nanno could finish her sentence you got it in the head with a basketball.

“Hey get away from her creep!” the dude said as he walks up and pushed you away as he scoffed dragging Nanno away. You rubbed your head and sighed getting up and going home.

The next day at school you were sitting down in the classroom before class. You looked up to see Nanno in front of you with an ice pack in hand as she hands it to you “Your head must still be sore so here!” she smiled “Thanks..” You said grabbing it and putting it on your hand as you continue to read. She sat next to you and watched over your shoulder. You looked at her “What are you doing?” you asked and she smiled more “Reading with you so you dont get lonely”

Karma is a bitch...everyone knows that...even you dear readers...right?

A few days past and the guys who threw the basketball at you just...disappeared? You and Nanno got closer but you felt like something was wrong with her...more than what meets the eye. You looked at there missing posters ‘Sin Du’ ‘Kraisee Suwan’ and ‘Prasit Shi’.

Everyone was talking about them..3 boys who went missing at the same time and gone without a trace? Some were happy some sad and even some mad but class continued as nothing was wrong and Nanno sat by you for a project. As you and Nanno were working you saw a few girls looking over and whispering but when Nanno looked up they looked away.

“Don't worry about them ok?” she said with that damn cute devilish smile or hers. You nodded and kept working as Nanno helped. After class you and Nanno were walking down the hall as you two were talking as she laughed at a dumb joke you made as you laughed with her slightly.

“Hey Nanno?” you said “Yes? What’s up?” she said looking at you. You looked back at her and smiled “Thank you” she titles her head slightly “Thank you for what?” “For being my friend Nanno” you smiled.

I...I didn't mean to...It just happened...the knife...blood...h-her blood...

You sat in class as your hands were shaking..any noise made u jump. Y-You killed her...Nanno...your best friend..you had her blood on her hands. Someone sat next to you as you looked up...her...your best friend..Nanno..who you killed..”Hey bestie why do you look scared?” she said sitting down fully next to you.

I BROUGHT YALL ANOTHER CRAZY THEORY

not mine actually it's from tieba, ppl are theorizing that sunday is possibly going to get recruited by elio. fascinating yet crazy right? LEMME LAY EVERYTHING DOWN

okay so sunday's design is very much inspired of ena, both his old one and the new one. it has many eyes, the halo, the golden accents. not to mention his personality that resonates with her path.

this will not make sense if u dont pay attention to elio's concept art (most likely will change by the time he appears but) here it is :

notice the amount of eyes, the sun and the similar patterns, a picture of ena for reference :

they also said that ena seems to be holding a puppet string and it could be related to "destiny's slave", i dont completely agree but it's A COOL THEORY!!

i've always assumed elio to be an omen vanguard of terminus the aeon of finality. since he has blessing/curse of seeing the future unlike finality followers i believed he might be our first finality emenator BUT! emenators could follow a different path, it's so interesting to think he could be a finality emenator but an order follower, and it makes sense! who would greatly seek to stop nanook and restore balance? well hooh too but ena would very much dedicate themselves in stopping nanook. now ena is debatably dead but paths don't disappear. but keep in mind we actually don't know which aeon gives the stellaron hunters powers.

so far we don't know what the stellaron in penacony does, it doesnt seem to be the threat itself but the one who obtains it might be dangerous. that's why elio wants the nameless to go after the stellaron. but that doesnt make THAT much sense either, why wouldn't the stellaron hunters themsleves do the job? they're already capable. if u ask me penacony feels the best place for kafka/SW instead, it might be easier for us to obtain it if we help the family but anyways- we can go on forever abt why it's not right so lets force this theory to make sense tehee~

i talked abt how sunday might learn a truth after his "death", gallagher's voice line abt him is "He reminds me of the "Odes of Harmony," but I caught a whiff of something behind the facade he puts on... something real." the odes of harmony is basically a song praising xipe, he means sunday being a reserved religious saint like person, is a facade and gallagher saw something real. based on my post where i discovered that i'm a follower of nous after all (i'm not-) https://www.tumblr.com/yellowymellon/746431759854551040/you-know-it-would-be-funny-if-the-actual-villain?source=share

sunday is described as perfect on the outside but secretly a freak, he shows no mercy to what he thinks is wrong and doesn't compromise. but i don't trust him with what he thinks is wrong. he might be shrewd and manipulative fitting for a head, but still young and emotional to make absolutes (judgements). see, the family is a perpetrator to many MANY evil stuff that shouldn't be in his book (literally lol)

u see where i'm going? me neither elio could potentially need to ally with sunday if his stance changes after learning the whole, purest truth

ok my beautiful and very accepting followers gather round i am going to try to provide you some basic context to these characters that feature heavily on this blog these days, and i HAVE smoked a bowl of weed already

majorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr fucking series spoilers for anyone who might actually kind of be interested

mkay first of all despite what my blog might lead you to believe, this guy is like. the OG antagonist. the main dude for the whole franchise even when hes not technically present for most plotlines. all of his scenes are baller af

his name is John Kramer and he is the original Jigsaw Killer. He truly believes he can rehabilitate people who dont appreciate their lives (or commit crimes or take advantage of people) by putting them in saw traps. he pretends its not personal but it totally is. hes always putting people he personally beefs with in traps.

hes deeply fucked up but also really fascinating tbh like the whole fun of his character is seeing what reason hes gonna come up with to justify his next atrocity and how he manipulates everyone around him into doing his bidding. hes a mastermind. hes also Peepaw. Peepaw is kind of crazy but we love Peepaw

This is Billy hes a puppet

This is Adam Stanheight everyones favorite dead boy

hes so funny and charming and is also such a sopping wet pathetic sad rat. everyone loves Adam. We love pretending Adam is gonna come back but hes been super dead for years

esp because Lawrence turns to the dark side and becomes an apprentice to Jigsaw and never went back to save Adam like he PROMISED what the FUCK

but also i love Apprentice!Lawrence because of all the nutty implications and what other fun it has given us (such as AUs where Adam lives and even sometimes joins Lawrence as an apprentice himself)

i love that shes messy and emotional and vengeful and sarcastic and battling personal demons and questioning whether John's "rehabilitation" method really works (aka saw traps) and being unsure if she can take up the mantle when he passes. but he believes in her. and god they make me fucking emotional

this is Lynn Denlon shes a doctor kidnapped to treat John's cancer. and people ship her with Amanda, thats Shotgunshipping. it goes pretty hard tbh

like their scenes go fucking crazy through a shipping lens oh my fucking god. actually they all do tbh thats part of the fun of shipping in this franchise

oh boy big sigh here we go

this is Detective Mark Hoffman who is unfortunately my favorite character and i am REALLy high now. if u ever get confused like MANY of us did, you can recognize him by his bitch lips and/or boobies. ugh im gonna throw up i hate his ass

that last one oh my fucking god

anyway hes actually awful but i love him so much and at first i was scared that i was the only one who did LMAO.. anyway he also gets recruited by Jigsaw as another apprentice when he was in a very dark place, having just killed the murderer of his little sister. he made it look like a saw trap to frame Jigsaw.

but Jigsaw found out & was like nuh uh bitch you're working for me now, or else I'm telling on you.

But then Hoffman was like guess what bitch I LOVE it here and i LOVE killing. he becomes the Jigsquad problem child and proceeds to kill or manipulate everyone he needed to so he could be the sole "Jigsaw" remaining. But he's sloppy and paranoid af so the FBI is on his ass from day 1. And the more he kills, the sloppier he gets, and the more frantic and unable to dig himself out of this hole he gets. and the more violent and crazy he gets. But the more crazy he gets, the more he keeps evading death like a cockroach. For real, watching his downfall was the major appeal of his character for me, and the start of my downfall..ing in love with him. lord almighty

anyway everyone hates his ass and we LOVE bullying him!!!!! he deserves it. for all of the atrocities hes committed and also because hes such a smarmy little shit. even Amanda bullies him

and then we have Peter Strahm who shows up and hates Hoffman immediately, as you do. u can tell its him from his ridiculous eyelashes

and, YEAH, YOUVE GUESSED IT......... PEOPLE LIKE TO SHIP HIM WITH HOFFMAN.......... I KNOW..... RIGHT.... COULDNT BE ME.......

Because he is Hoffman's biggest adversary for two movies, knowingly in one. It's a classic cat and mouse game.

Anyway we love Peter Strahm!!!!! He's also an asshole! He's extremely hotheaded and short tempered but extremely passionate about the case. like, his dedication goes crazy. He's also quite the sassy bitch himself

but its BECAUSE he is also caring and emotional, especially towards his work partner Lindsey Perez WHO WE LOVE BECAUSE SHES AMAZING AND CARING AND SHE'S BEEN PETER'S PARTNER AND FRIEND FOR 5 YEARS THEY CARE ABOUT EACH OTHER I LOVE THEM

and those are the characters but ur probably like "what the fuck is up with the glass coffin" well my friends that is what us Hoffstrahmers refer to as our roman empire.

um i ran out of room for pictures :) but by now yall have seen the two traps reblogged and drawn by me a BILLION times, and those are: the water cube trap, and the glass coffin

so the deal with those:

the water cube trap: Strahm runs off to find Jigsaw himself after wildly following clues with no backup because he's so worked up from Perez getting hurt earlier and he sets off on revenge immediately. Hoffman catches him and puts him in the water cube.

It's meant to just kill him. he wasnt supposed to survive it. but Strahm is suddenly the main character when he fucking survives an unwinnable saw trap the fuckin crowd goes wild, it was fuckin sick dawg

and then through a series of Hoffman backstory flashbacks that he daydreams, he figures out the entirety of Hoffman's real secret identity and sets off to go catch him

and thats when he finds:

The Glass Coffin Trap: the instructions on the Jigsaw tape tell him to get into the coffin, it will hurt him but he will have a chance to survive. "do you trust me?" but he KNOWS its Hoffman and he doesnt trust that motherfucker so he doesnt get in. Hoffman approaches the scene, they get in a scuffle, and Strahm pushes him into the coffin and seals it.

but hoffman is like "neener neener poopoo you're an idiot" and tells him to listen to the rest of the tape. which tells him that if he doesnt get in the coffin, he's gonna fuckin die bro lmao rip

and so he does! hoffman, in the coffin, sinks into the ground like some cartoon villain and the walls close in and squeeze Strahm to death

anyway at first Coffinshipping to me was kind of a joke like just classic Asshole x Asshole, Enemies to Lovers, Hero x Villain shenanigans. Teehee what if they KISSED... in the COFFIN... and all.

but then i read exactly 1 fic and i was completely convinced entirely of the angst possibilities of these two. the "what if"s that were possible with them. the little Hoffstrahm community i found has been so fucking awesome their ideas are so fucking fun, and I'm having so much fun thinking of art of them and fics of them and ugh i love it here

Taehyung stood over the small fish tank which resided in the waiting room of the dentists office. You had gone in a few hours earlier for the removal of your wisdom teeth, something you tried multiple times to get out of.

"arent you a little old to be at the childrens dentist?" Taehyung turns his head to see a smug looking 13 year old with crossed arms. He raised his eyebrows, suprised.

to be fair, 1, he was here for you, and 2, yeah...you were too old to be coming to the pediatrics center. He told you so many times to switch to his dentist but you refused, he just assumed they would drop you as a patient eventually considering you are now in your mid 20's.

"is Kim Taehyung here?" an older lady stepped out from behind the front desk to call him, grabbing his attention as he turned away from the weird child.

"thats me" he raised his hand

"great! Y/N is all set, she is just waking up now" the woman spoke, allowing him to follow behind her down the hallway which was filled with children's drawings and stickers. he smiled to himself before being directed into a room with another assistant.

he couldn't hold back his laughs when he saw you, now sitting up, in a reclined seat. "hi sweetheart, you did it!" he cheered, coming over and brushing your hair out of your face, noticing the puffiness of your cheeks and jaw.

your eyes scanned over him momentarily before widening them, suddenly remembering who he was. "tae!" you sat up more, "look what they did to me!" you mumbled before you reached into your mouth, pulling out a blood soaked wad of cotton.

"woah, no, no baby, leave that in there, ok?" taehyung panicked, turning to the nurse as she prepped a new cotton pad to place against your gums.

"did you see it?" you murmured, words hard to make out.

"yes, I did. how dare they." he shook his head and returned his seat next to you once the nurse finished, handing him your discharge papers to sign so he could take you home.

"can we leave, jesus christ, they are gonna kill me" the younger nurse laughed at your words, taking back the paper work from tae.

"baby no ones gonna kill you, ok? I love you, im proud of you" he beamed, scanning your eyes. "youre kinda cute" you smile, completely ignoring him and focusing on his hair and face. "gimme a kiss" you whined.

he leaned to kiss your forehead, "cmon lets go home and have ice cream, yeah?"

"ice cream?" you whipped your head around

"mhm"

you started to tear up, cupping his face as he laughed. "baby why the tears?"

"because, I love ice cream and I love you" you cried

Tae chuckled and stood up, holding your hand.

"dont laugh at me, youre just like them" you said, pointing at the 'evil' nurses to the side.

"they are very nice people, sweetheart, they helped get rid of your yucky teeth" he spoke softly as he helped you into a wheel chair.

"oh if you wanna defend them why dont you just marry them?" you mumble yelled in his face, making him shake his head and apologize to the nurse who found the situation hilarious.

"im already getting married to someone" he smiled

"who?" you gasped, seeming angry as he wheeled you out of the room.

"look at your hand, dummy"

you look down to see a ring on your finger, gasping once again

"what the fuck? we are getting married?!!" you shout, causing tae to panic and cover your mouth, "baby shhhh" he laughed once you reached the parking lot, helping you into the car.

you turned to the nurse who also had come out to help and pointed at tae, whispering loudly "im marrying him"

"oh he is a lucky man" the older lady laughed and took back the wheelchair once you were out and into the passenger seat.

once you were buckled, tae got in and began to drive home. you were restless and continued to whine. "hold the ice pack on your jaw, my love, it'll help" he looked over and moved your hand back up.

"It hurts" you pouted and tried (once again) to pull out the cotton.

"y/n stop, im serious. its there for a reason" taehyung struggled to keep you in his view of vision as he drove.

"you hate me!!!" you cried and turned your entire body to face the window, while he just simply looked at you with a blank expression.

"mkay" he spoke, turning his eyes back to the road. "no ice cream then i guess"

"youre turning against me" you spoke after a moment.

"baby, im trying to help you"

"you are turning against me. and then you will turn against Yeontan, and then your parents, and then when we have kids you will turn against them too and th-"

taehyung stopped at the red light and reached for your hand. "I know you are loopy as hell right now and dont even know whats happening but stop talking like that, I love you and your bloody mouth. now keep the cotton in there until we get home"

you glared at him and then stared out the window.

Of course this silent treatment ended the moment you were in bed and given a bowl with vanilla ice cream in it.

taehyung came back into the room to put a more firm pillow behind your head, as well as an extra blanket over your feet. He giggled and kissed your nose, stepping back to take a picture of you under the nest of sheets.

"you look like a little squirrel" he spoke, cupping your face.

"am i a cute squirrel?" you asked

"obviously" tae moved and sat next to you, kissing your cheek before resting his head on your shoulder. "is it good?"

"so good" you smiled weakly and grabbed a spoonful to feed to him, making him open his mouth and taste it. "thank you"

you both sat quietly as you watched tv before you suddenly spoke up.

"tae"

"hm?"

"dont ever make me go back to the dentist again" you threatened, pointing the spoon at him.

"okay, noted."

They won"t let you go! Having a peaceful walk in the forest ? Darling , Adam will go with you , if thats not Adam , Cain or Abel will be with you

During your escape , Eve is the first one who always caught you so she tries to guilttrap you so you can"t escape.

When its Cain , he'll get a lil bit agressive , tries to take you and bring you to Adam by force or by pity

When its Abel , same as his mother , but he grew attached to you so much that he cannot let you go to his parents

And when its Adam , he will ask you gently three times , if you accept everything will be alright if you decline , get ready to be chained and get hit til you're all bloody

Eve and Abel hate it when you're getting punished but the rules are the rules

One time you were praying in a old chapel , Laito came to you , biting you which Adam wasn't so much happier when he saw this . He got mad pretty mad first of all

After you woke up , you met Eve , she was the one who took care of you. Then you met their sons Cain and Abel

Everything was alright until you noticed their behaviour suddenly changing , when u walk near a lake alone you always felt someone was following you which it was Adam , Eve was always at this to burst in tears , begging you to stay at home and their sons Cain and Abel mostly Cain will not hesit to kill the persons who dare to speak or see you (He let his family live tho)

The thing you love now , Karlheinz hasn't sent his sons nor the Mukami to brought you back , some rumors are spreading that the Sakamaki and Mukami has found a new "Toy" human to play with , Shin still mad and also worried because he couldn't find you and who's gonna give him some peanuts ? Or let him drink some blood?

But now theres a new problem

RAT SONS LORE DUMP #1

THE HAMATO FAMILY

okay so im looking at my first few character sheets and theres a little bit of lore/context i want to give just to clarify, specifically about the last generation (of humans) in the Hamato lineage

(long text heavy post ahead!)

so background:

in the 03 version of tmnt The Ancient One (who is not a Hamato) essentially adopts three children: Hamato Yoshi, Yukio Mashimi, Tang Shen (girls dont get surnames i guess??) They seemed to have been explicitly raised as siblings. Still, love triangle trope was hungry ig. Both boys fell in love w Tang Shen and she fell for Yoshi. to which Mashimi said ‘alright bet’ and killed her. i cant even laugh at him for his pathetic Nice Guy “i was nice to you for years and u wont have sex with me???” tantrum cos like. sir, that is ur sister. boy howdy. all of yall need to go meet some other people.

mostly i chalk that whole mess up to the fact that the writing of women in most media in the early 2000s lacking like idk?? any actual characterization?? an ounce of consideration??? not a single braincell?? they were mostly just there to be a means to some plot trope, rather than an actual character in and of themselves — like im amazed april came out as lovely as she did, with her own like life and skills and autonomy (her big sis vibes in 03 are so so nice, and tbh i love her whole character a lot — still lots of misogyny moments in her writing too but im not trying to do an analysis into that rn)

so anywho!!

for the rat sons au, i decided to go ahead and scrap all the incesty undertones (idk, are those undertones? seems p straight up to me?) and completely revamp the origins of The Ancient One, Tang Shen and Yoshi <3 (and Mashimi too ig, but he essentially got cut out entirely. sucks to suck ya entitled lil douche)

Here's the general lowdown

So, the Hamato clan is one of the oldest and well established in all of Japan. The family rose to prominence in the feudal period of Japan’s history, due to their collective skill in the art of ninjutsu, their dedication, stealth, and discretion. Like most ninja, they were assassins available to hire, either for killing or simple sabotage, for politics or personal matters – though no matter the task, a Hamato’s loyalty was always to the head of the Family over their client.

Beyond their reputation as a ninja clan though, the Hamatos also had a reputation for being extremely generous to their community and highly protective of the less fortunate. (think kinda Al Capone vibes, like oh these bitches hella dangerous. but also. will def tip over $100 soooo…) This did lead to occasional conflict of interests during assignments/contracts. Most Hamatos would then seek the advice of the head of the family, and follow their lead, be it to the benefit of their client, or not.

(This also led to several members either abandoning the clan, or being killed by their clients for failed action etc etc)

As time passes and we reach the mid twentieth century or so, there is only one final heir to the Hamato lineage. A young man, named Hamato Sho. Sho spent his youth trying to serve his family and honor their name etc etc etc. But ultimately, this got him caught up in a lot of corrupt powerful nonsense that he eventually walked away from after the death of his friend.

This friend had left behind a young daughter, Tang Shen. Since he knew she had no other family to claim her, Sho took her in, expecting to only be a temporary foster at most. Surprise! this quiet five year old kiddo melted old mans cynical heart to absolute mush. his daughter now bitch.

He only ever adopted the one child, and he adored her sm. and he tried his best to be a good papa. he nurtured her curiosity and engaged in her interests and taught her everything he knew, without ultimatums or concerns about family names. at times he could have probably been considered very lax in his parenting, or far too lenient or undisciplined, but as a kid that grew up suffocated by watching eyes and guiding hands and Destiny capital D, i think that by giving his child room to be her own person and do her own shit (especially in her teenage years) he was in fact showing her a level trust and pride than he never had been given himself. basically he did everything he could to give her the exact opposite childhood he himself had (like rise splints <3)

Because of Sho’s encouragement, Tang Shen grows up to be a very independent soul, whos never met a problem she can jerry-rig, bodily move, or roundhouse kick into being fixed. She also becomes a fucking badass ninja master (and mystic warrior, lol) though mostly all she wants in life is the maintain the quiet little farm her father has started. maybe kiss the cute boy from town who walks her home sometimes (even though he lives the other direction.)

Meanwhile, Yoshi (surname pending) is in fact not a Hamato. Yet, at least. he, however, is that cute boy from town who walks home with Tang Shen most days and has been absolutely smitten with her since like fourth grade lol

(theyre besties for like a decade before they officially start to date. They get together finally after Tang Shens been trying to figure out a good date idea (one that isnt just something they already do) to ask him on for like a month, and Yoshi just leans over and kisses her goodbye super casual one day cos he thought they already had been dating for like. six months. cue her delight and his abject horror (he never wouldve kissed her if he didnt think that was already established as okay. p sure he even like asked her before randomly like, hey is it alright if i kiss u goodbye? and she was like ????? ok??? is this cos of ur european studies class. theyre both very silly) shes gonna tease him so bad about all of this. and tell Sho. Yoshi will never know peace again /affectionate)

Mashimi doesnt make any real appearance in their story i dont think. Like he might be a friend of Yoshi’s in elementary school. probably had a tiny start of a crush on Tang Shen when they were small and tried to take the ‘pull pigtails on the playground’ route of getting her attention. what he got was a kick to the chest and a broken nose. never came near her again after that. (eventually started avoiding Yoshi too since he was with Tang Shen all the time)

All that being said though, im afraid Tang Shen is not fully free of curse of the unwanted suitor. The Hamato name still carries a fair amount of pull, after all, and there are some very dangerous people looking to make some claim to its influence.....

i groaned as the light from the sun hit my face, i turn to my side to avoid it as i was falling back asleep... *RING RING* my eyes shot open startled by the alarm, ughh.. 5 more mins.. i reach out for the alarm clock to stop the ringing as i close my eyes trying to sleep again, as my sleep slowly take over i got interrupted again by abigail my roommate/coworker "Y/N WAKE UR ASS UP WE'RE GOING SOMEWHERE!" i groaned in frustration as i sat up.. "ugh abby what the fuck? it's still 10 in the morning our shift starts at 5!" i glared at abby who was at my door way grinning like a little girl "oh don't be such a grumpy thing come on! we're going somewhere!" "Where are we going abby...?" i ask standing up going to the bathroom to start my day "it's a secret, you'll see once we get there! come on hurry up!" i peek out of the bathroom door and glared at her before slamming the door close, i swear i could hear her smirk from here.

Time Skip...

i got out of the bathroom in a white robe seeing abby sitting on my bed, "get out I'll dress up, shoo!" "god when will u fix that attitude of yours!" she teased, "when u stop bothering me every morning!" i hiss, she faked an surprise and offended look "ouch! fine just meet me downstairs" after she said that she slap me on my ass before running out of the room, i swear to god I'll get her back one day, i sighed before dressing up into casual fit, a cargo pants and and my favorite little mix oversized shirt, oh i havent mentioned that im a huge fan of little mix aswell before taylor swift, after i finished dressing up, i grabbed my phone and my sling bag before going down, "Finally! you were taking so long" she whined, i rolled my eyes and scoff, "whatever let's just go!" she grinned before nodding and rushing out of the door, i sighed at her antics, going out and locking the door, following her afterwards.

"Where are we really going abby!? just tell me! we've been walking for like 30mins!" "jeez hold your horses girl, we're almost there trust me" "i swear if this is one of your pranks again I won't hesitate on beating the living shit out of you!" i glared at her, i totally didn't mean what i said but she's just not Telling me! "pranks? nah i ain't pranking you this time and i know you won't do that cuz im your Bestfriend!" she teased, "whatever" she giggled at me before continuing on walking, after few more mins abby stopped, "what now abby?" i looked at her, "WE'RE HERE!" she points towards her, i look the direction where she was pointing and i raised my eyebrows "abby that's the forest!?" "exactly and we're going in there" "What!? no way! there's no way I'll enter that forest, what if we get attack by animals!!?" she chuckled at my reaction "what are you scared? scared of a little forest?" i glared at her causing her to laugh "oh y/n there's no animal here trust me come on!" she ran towards the forest "HEY WAIT DONT LEAVE ME HERE."

I finally catched up to her panting, "WHAT WAS THAT FOR?" i said slowly loosing my mind "oh stop being a whiny kid and just follow me" i groaned and walk besides her "why do you want to go in a forest so suddenly??" i asked curiously, "Well i saw something on tiktok where you explore forest and stuffs!" she said "... so you drag me into this forest that i dont know! for a.. tiktok..?" i blink my eyes and stare at her, istg she'll get me killed one day with her crazy ideas. "yes!" she pulled out her phone going live on tiktok, i stared at her with a *are you serious face* "you know that we have a shift a 5pm.." i said "yes i know but it's still 11:31am so we still got time!" she said to me before pressing live on tiktok "hey Ya'll me and my Bestfriend y/n are out in the forest right now! and we'll see if we find anything interesting!" she said talking to people in the live.

i put my hands up to my face rubbing them in frustration as abigail continued with her shits, she suddenly focus the camera on me "here's y/n Ya'll she's slowly loosing her mind" she said to her live laughing, i look at the camera before saying "I am not loosing my mind okay?!" i said to the people in the live "yeah im sure you're not" abby said making me scoff "don't mind her she's always grumpy whenever i drag her into crazy stuffs like this" she chuckled before turning the camera to the nature around us, "isn't this forest beautiful!" she said, i glanced at her, i smiled when I saw her happy despite her dragging me into this forest, my smiled dropped when she gasp "what is it abby??!" i look at the direction she was looking at causing me to gasp aswell, my eyes widened at the sight infront me "OMG YA'LL WE FOUND A MANSION IN THE MIDDLE OF THIS FOREST! ISN'T IT COOL? AND ITS NEW ASWELL" abby was completely amused at the sight while I am in shock what the fuck? what's a mansion doing in the middle of the forest? "COME ON Y/N" she grab my wrist but before she drag me "WAIT! abby don't what if someone lives in there?? we don't wanna trespass someone's property you know!?" i said worried "we're not gonna trespass y/n! we're just gonna check it out come on!" she drag me towards the mysterious mansion "but-" i sighed.

3rd person POV

they arrived infront of the mansion and take a look at it, it was huge and it has a 3rd floor.. Huh i wonder who lives here.. y/n stared at the mansion infront her confused "OMG guys isn't this amazing we found a mansion in the middle of the forest! and it's brand new with 3 stories!" abigail said as she read through the comments..

I followed abby behind, this is a bad idea totally a bad idea.., i start to mentally panic "WOAH ITS MORE COOLER UP CLOSE!" she blog the mansion infront of us "I wonder who lives here! it's such a beautiful mansion!" she stated, i look around aswell, she's right it's beautiful but its still wrong going on somebody's property.. guilt start building up on me oh god why did I even agree to this... i was so lost in my thoughts that I didn't notice abigail opened the door and went inside, i look beside me noticing abby wasn't there and panic "Abby? ABIGAIL WHERE ARE YO-" i got cut off by her "im here y/n!" i look at the source of the voice as my eyes went wide "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING IN THERE? The Last Ronin 2: Re-Evolution Issue #1 LIVEBLOG

SPOILERS ABOUND. I'M NOT GOING TO BE NORMAL ABOUT THIS IT'LL PROBABLY GET SUPER LONG

Okay so Casey Marie's muscles are something I'm never going to get over. SHE LOOKS GOOD!!!!! Her getup is feeling a little too reminiscent of a cape-wielding superhero for my tastes to be honest - I really loved the more practical outfits she wore in TLR Lost Years, especially in issue 4 when she was running the training mission for the kids. But ah well, I'm sure this will grow on me. It may not be practical (edna's law of no capes is coming to mind, also PLEASE TIE YOUR HAIR UP WHEN YOU'RE FIGHTING GIRL!!!) but it's very cunty anyway which I appreciate

FINAL THOUGHTS:

dude that first issue was wordy but the kids were ON POINT. they were so fun!! their dialogue is fun and they kick ass.

i loved yi announcing the punishment for casey while the others were like NOO SHE DIDNT MEAN THAT DONT LISTEN TO HER. we're getting more of their personalities and it's great!! it was a nice throwback to issue 2 of lost years when they were cleaning - yi refused to help because of how strictly she was following instructions. im picking up that she might be neurodivergent but i did get that from the lost years too - only doing things within strict instructions, getting frustrated at teaching odyn chess, not because of him playing horseys with the knights but that it was Against The Rules Of Chess - and now not picking up on some social cues. It's nice to see!! I love her very much, but it feels like besides rehashing the origin story she took a bit of a backseat to the other three.

i want to know more about why uno said being a rebel was moja's 'thing', since she didn't seem to be any more rebellious than the other three in this issue. we didn't get any unique interactions between her and casey marie which is what i felt was lacking from lost years but i wonder if this is hinting towards a more turbulent mother-daughter dynamic with them... I REALLY HOPE SO!! her and uno butting heads in a leo-raph way is very fun - i don't mind one or two prior group dynamics leaking into the new turtle siblings because they're all so different from the original 4.

uno seems to be taking on slightly more of a leader role than moja so i think he won the title of fearless leader. which is fine, i think it'll be fun to see and he's definitely less of an asshole now than when he was growing up in lost years. still picking on odyn a bit but seems to snipe at moja just as much. even when he was commenting on yi's storytelling he didn't make fun of her, though - i think she may have inherited the 2k3 don ability of being Completely Unbullyable.

i was really pleased that odyn felt more involved!! i feel like he took the backseat a few times in lost years - it was fun seeing more of his personality shine through! he and yi seem to get on the best, and i giggled at them rolling their eyes at moja and uno's raph-leo schtick. i didn't expect him to TURN TO FUCKING STONE THOUGH, so i'm nervous about that. WHAT DOES IT MEAN? WHO DID THIS TO MY BOY? IS HE GOING TO TURN BACK NEXT CHAPTER OR IS HE OUT OF COMMISSION UNTIL THE END OF THE RUN??? (if it's the latter i'll be a bit annoyed - don't take odyn away from the equation please!!)

I do wonder if by introducing casually that they can PSYCHICALLY CONNECT, the turtles will use that as a technique to reach odyn's mind to make sure he's still in there and piece together what's happened to him. i mean, their casual telepathy has gotta be some sort of chekhov's gun right?

and shit.... april was so fucking mad casey took the babies out so she's going to EXPLODE when she finds out what happened to her baby boy, her beloved favourite, her baby odyn :''(( im giggling rubbing my hands together waiting for the fallout but also if she cries i might cry too. speaking of april, she seems to be working on a new project and i saw nano particles mentioned - are we going to have a roninverse version of nano in this run???? I NEED MY ROBOT SON

as always, casey marie... u have aged like fine wine. u are stunning. disappointed that ur still believing that jiro can do good as a cop when their entire police force and government is corrupt as fuck. just feels very naive of her. i'm excited to see her break down at the concept of losing odyn - in fact i need everyone to mourn this beautiful kid. they tell us so much that shes a super clingy helicopter mom and i am picking up on the strict part, but it would be nice to see more of her just... hugging her kids. holding them. i get why she didnt in this issue but id love more mama casey squishing their cheeks and kissing their foreheads.

i have zero fucking clue what's going on with odyn. im wondering if it's somehow related to nano, or to whatever project April is working on - she says it's to do with clearing the tunnels, but I''m not convinced. who knows, there might be some ulterior motive happening.

ur roommate, junhui has this friend what seems to caught ur attention, minghao. one day junhui invites all of his friends over. but then-

“Y/NNN!!” he screamed as he barged in ur room. he floped on top of u as u were trying to sleep. “what do you want?” in an annoying tone as u still wanted to sleep. “mah friends are coming over in 5 minutes” this was the third time this week that jun’s friends were coming over. and today is wednesday… yes they came everyday-. you throw ur pillow at jun. “whywhywhy can’t u just go to there houses?” u said still wanted to sleep “because they want to see u” he pouted “i swear they like u more then me” you signed “finefine just don’t let them in my room when there her-“ as u get cut off by the doorbell. jun was sprinting to the door (how the hell didnt he fell idk) as u get up closes the door to get ready. as you thought jun bumped into something u were so wrong it was soonyoung and this actives ass running through the whole house from whatever was chasing him (i think it was seungkwam but idk man) u opened the door. and u shut it again. why? because soonyoung and seungkwam were wrestling on the carpet. dino just became jeonghan’s chair (even tho there were seats left) jun and minghao hyping up the fight. jihoon and hansol are just standing there dont know what to do. cheol trying to break the fight but kinda struggling as he’s laughing his as off. the rest were just laughing there asses off. yep ur asking urself how the hell does they have so much energy AT 9 AM.. well then u opened ur door again not looking at the scene in the living room. U make urself some breakfast (idk what u guys want just think its ur dream breakfast) as the situation calms down u sit down and have ur breakfast. u and hansol had a conversation about the fight what just happend. then poof everyones is at the dinner table arguing about what they want to do today (i swear they argue about everythingㅜㅜ) u guys settle with going to beach as it was a hot summer day. cheol was paying for everything as he wanted to keep everyone happy ( tank u sugar daddy cheol <3 we luv u) as ur getting ready going to the beach. someone ‘knocks’ on the door. u were surprised by who it was. what u saw was minghao on the ground. as he knocked on ur door but u didnt respond and he didnt had time to meditate he just got impatient and tried to knock down the door but then u opend the door so yehㅜㅜ “u oke?” as you thought he would be “yeah im fine” “jun said were going so hurry ur ass up” he smiled. u grabbed ur bag and followed minghao to the living room where everyone was waiting for u. seungkwam ran too u. “ i was so worried i heard a crash, u didnt get hurt right?” “nono im fine ask minghao about the fall” as u smiled to minghao, who was embarrassed. “aww thank god ur oke” as seungkwam was smiling like a mother. “alright lets go then!!” obviously mingyu coudnt wait to go to the beach. the cars were Divided as : cheol, minghao,jeonghan were driving seungkwam , y/n and soonyoung as dj, seungkwam mingyu, hansol, dokyeon were in cheol’s car. y/n,jihoon wonwoo were in minghaos car. and soonyoung, chan, jun were in jeonghans car. after a bumpy car trip of 20 minutes. u all arrived at the beach. I swear mingyu was in the water within 20 seconds and wonwoo and hansol were following him. as u see everyone in the water except one person. u didnt see minghao. but u swore u saw him going into the wate-. splash.. u turned and saw minghao with a bucket. with the shock u had u wristlet him to the grond. u on top of him. u swore u could have killed him if you could. after a bit u guys were tired and just layed in the sand lookin at the others.

II. unexpected.

as u and minghao discussed to go to the water dokyeom ask u guys to join volleyball. u guys went to the court. u were on joshua, mingyu,seungkwam,vernon,wonwoo and jeonghan. the rest were on the other team. u guys played for two hours. and ur team won!! (yes seungkwam carried) u and cheol decided to get icecream and fruit for everyone. cheol paid for everything (as he said that earlier) u guys came back too see soonyoung and Seungkwam discussing about the volleyball game. u guys gave everyone fruit and icecream as everyone looked dehydrated from the whole game. u caught someone looking at u, minghao. minghao was looking at u. but u just said to urself that he was daydreaming so u just think nothing about it. at the other hand minghao also turned away when u did, kinda flustered as u caught him staring at u. two weeks before he met u. as jun begged u too come with after ur break up with sunghoon (i love sunghoon so dw) u kinda had a depression fase and u didnt leave the room at all. but when minghao saw u. he fell in love with u. instantly. after a week u fell for minghao. you fell for him, you got deja vu as this is how much you loved sunghoon but u didnt care. now back too the present. everyone was discussing where to eat. “wait guys you know about the new place that openend up i heard it was really good” as u requested. everyone agreed. after 10 min everone arrived at the restaurant. it was a korean chinese restaurant. u guys went in and sat at a table. minghao excused himself too the toilet.everyone ordered what they wanted after minghao came back to the table. u felt something on ur thigh (we finally at a romance scene yayay) u see minghao’s hand on ur thigh and look at him smirking (kinda creepy but eh) he looked away as the food came to the table but his hand is stuck on ur thigh. as u all ate minghao whispered to meet him outside. u and minghao excused to get fresh air. everyone talking about what is going to happen. minghao waiting for u with a bouquet in his hand. “y/n, the most beautiful,kind, sweet person i ever met. i want u to mine forever, dear y/n will u be my girl friend?” he said. u,stunt in place, dont know what to say. “i-“ “its fine u dont feel the s-“ minghao got cut off as u kissed him on the lips, their soft, perfect match for urs. u pulled away “thats ur answer” u smirked. as u see a man so happy he could jump to the moon. smiling so hard. he gave u the bouquet. u guys walked to the restaurant again and everyone was shocked seeing u two holding hands. gasping at the scene “tadaa she’s mine now so keep distance” says minghao proudly.
