Ashido brought up the idea that Uraraka was crushing on either Midoriya or Iida, not just Midoriya, damn it.

I find it funny though that Uraraka just happen to notice Midoriya outside at the time and guess what he was doing? Practicing kick moves... INSPIRED BY IIDA!!!

about time for you to take origin trio out of your bio, your bitterness towards deku is palpable…

It's my bio, I do whatever I want with it. Bitchy anons don't dictate my life. Origin Trio in my bio does not mean that I like the origin characters in equal measure, only that I like them in this particular formation.

I like Deku as part of Origin Trio and I enjoy that particular dynamic a lot because they play off each other well. I also like TDBKDK as a ship and do fic-recs over @2toplibrary for it. I even run @origintriodaily as a sideblog with content dedicated only to the trio. I've written Origin Trio fics.

What do you contribute to fandom other than harassing others on anon?

And yes, in many other situations, I don't enjoy Deku as a character, especially lately.

I find him very boring solo, he's much more enjoyable to me when he plays off of more compelling characters.

I find the OFA subplot underwhelming, and his power-upgrades unearned

I used to be neutral on IzuOcha, but I find it quite irritating recently (and I am bitter that it's taking up now so much space in the endgame because HK neglected to build it before), the IidaOchaDeku trio for me is also very flat and vanilla.

I also find it very sad how little effort went into the TDDK friendship from Deku's part since the end of the Endeavor internship arc.

Or how much only Deku-centric friendships get oxygen and every other class-bond is withering.

Shouto is not the only reason I'm disappointed; other faves of mine like Momo also got pushed into the background because they are not sufficiently close to Deku. But Shouto's plot especially suffered from the new Deku-centric storytelling. He should have been much more visible post-war considering how important crossroads his plot was at.

The manga content in 2021 really ruined a lot of Deku for me - I hated most of the solo arc, I feel bitter how all other characters were sidelines for an underwhelming plot like that which imho didn't do any favours to Deku either minus the dark design.

Despite this, I still get excited about the Origin Trio scenes and interactions, even if there were very little lately, so I'm not ready yet to turn in my Origin Trio fan-card to the self-appointed fandom police.
