        sela lost count on how many times they had danced this tango. she’d arrive at the scene , feeling really good this time like really good , she’s definitely going to finally catch that sneak ... and then he escapes. he always , always manages to escape and it ... infuriates her. 

        if life were a cartoon , she would’ve gritted her teeth right into dust with the amount of times he’s driven her straight into frustration. it didn’t matter how quick she was , how much she strategized ( it had , admittedly , gotten sloppy as time went on ) , how great her aim was ... he always found a way to weasel around her. and ... her obsessive nature kicked in ... a promise not to rest easy until she finally caught the guy.

        and she finally freaking did. finally !

        “ we’re either going to do this the hard way or the hard way. “ she starts , leaning back onto her seat as she kicks her feet up onto the metal table. months she had been on this guy ; he was on her mind constantly ... she was going to get her sweet satisfaction out of this. “ because after all the crap you pulled out , there’s no easy way for you. “

“Joking aside, I really am proud of how far you and your class are coming, I really need t’thank ya teacher for letting me observe your class.” She hummed, “....But still- if ya ever wanna take me up on th’sparrin I’m game!”

Can you tell us more about Larimar?

(The fact that seemingly so many people are interested in him is very exciting, ngl. Anyway, yes!!! I would love to gush about this man some more!!! I'm also gonna tag @iinukkuma in this, since Azurite is apart of this fusion! I would absolutely love to see your thoughts, if you feel like adding onto the post, Swann!)

(Okay, okay. So. We decided that Larimar has a Mettaton-like voice, since it fits his personality very well. He adores Sodalite- Flashy's AU Aoyama- and likes to carry him around whenever possible. Given that Blue Zircon is Sodalite's bf and Azurite is his dad, it makes for a very interesting dynamic, lmao. I like to think of Larimar as Sodalite's super cool uncle, but that might just be me, lmao.)

(Swann and I also decided that Larimar has a forked tongue! Most of his more 'monstrous' features are because of Azurite having been corrupted in the past. Larimar's hips, we decided, are also Azurite's. Zircon has zero shape other than block, so he was definitely very surprised to find that their fusion had hips.)

  He’s dragging and really just wants to go back to sleep.  Head aches from messing up a slap out in an attempt to save him from hitting head in the first place.  The takedown had been relatively easy, even if he’s lagging behind.  Partially to ensure that their captive didn’t escape and partly because he’s that tired.  Has taken the long way back, staying out of sight of the party ahead.  They tended to pay less attention to him when there was a new more volatile variable in the situation.  He’d stopped trying to run a while ago.

    Blood slipped from her cheek, the cut a familiar echoing pain. She should be use to being treated like trash…and yet it always felt the same. “M’-…”She stopped herself, not finishing the sentence…because he was right. 

“It ever gets better….I thought maybe he had changed. He hasn’t…not at all.”

  He can’t breathe.  A very strange sensation for a being that doesn’t even need to breathe, but it still doesn’t feel good.  Chest is tight and anxiety makes his limbs feel like they’re buzzing.  Hands are twisted in hair tangling it even further.  Eye burns with unshed tears and he wonders if emotional disturbance is enough to poof him.  Doesn’t want to exist in this moment of panic.  Logic knows that the fear is unfounded, that he’s on this strangely green planet.  That the diamonds are lightyears away.  “Take it away.  I-I don’t want to feel anything anymore.”

        a finger is curled around the chain of the handcuffs , wondering why he insisted on continuing to get her attention in this manner instead of ... well ... how most people would do it. but they weren’t very conventional , were they ? in a lot of ways , but focusing on their relationship ... er , whatever they were at this point , nothing about this was quote --- on --- quote normal behavior. 

        the cuffs aren’t even tight anymore , there was no need for them to be. he wasn’t a villain , a criminal ? perhaps , but his spy status saved him from that. more so , the police force’s general nativity about the organization he was linked to. she’ll take him in , laurel will come and it’ll all be cleared up by 5 pm. it’s nearly like clockwork. this , though ? this was ... a new development. not entirely foreign anymore but ... 

        “ don’t start something ... “ she begins , their faces get closer ; the distance being kept by her looping another finger to bring him in closer. “ ... you can’t fini --- “ 

        her words are cut off , never to be finished as their lips press together. they shouldn’t be doing this , when they were still on the scene , when her partner could come find her at any moment. but ... as much as she internally tried to yell this at herself , she couldn’t find herself to actually pull away. in fact , she some how seemed to get deeper into the kiss as she tilted her head , feeling the differences between his bottom scarred lip and the non --- scared top.

        were they going to keep pushing the envelope like this ? were they going to ever properly handle whatever this was ? and , most importantly , were they ever going to break for air ?

        lips brush over the skin of his jaw , pressing a kiss there once , twice and then another before she pulls back just a bit. “ do you feel that ? “ she wondered , did the scarring numb the sensation ? was it simply a pressure and nothing more ? finger reaches up to touch the groves , following until they landed onto the staples on his chin. they traced down one ... two ... three and then four ... 

        if he answered , she didn’t catch it ... though , she’d imagine it’s hard to talk when someone was ... examining you like this. 

        she lets her hand fall for a moment , letting it land on his shoulder before bringing up the other to do the same. 

        “ you can definitely feel this. “ she says before leaning up and placing a kiss on his lips.

        “  this wasn’t so bad for an actual real date ... “ sela speaks in jest , having the confidence to show off how she really felt now. she doesn’t hold back as she takes a hold of his jacket , pulling him in closer this way before looping her arms around his neck.

        “ really ... this was fun. it’s been a really long time since i actually like , dated someone and didn’t just ... “ she trails a bit , head tilting side to side. “ ... well , you know ... had a night and then slipped out and ... “ she laughs a bit. “ ... i’m really not talking myself up here ... “

        “ well , i’m just saying this was nice. even though you annoyed the crap out of me in the beginning of our relationship , and i like ... used to go on tangents and curse your name till the break of dawn and --- “

        she’s cut off when he leans down and kisses her , effectively shutting her up. which ... well , is greatly appreciated. she had lost where she was attempting to reach there. but this ? well , that was so much better. 

        when he pulled back , she gave a smirk. “ ... yeah , that’s what i meant. “

        “ wait , don’t go yet ... “ sela says , voice groggy and thick with sleep. a hand reaches out for him , her day off did not mean his day off ... but she didn’t think he’d have to leave so quickly. 

        logically , she knows he has to do it for plenty of reasons. for the safety of herself , his own safety , his job , his cover ... but , still ... it’s morning and it’s cold and she wants her boyfriend with her. 

        “ just five more minutes ... please ... “ she pulls at his arm , but she knows he’s bringing himself down more than she’s actually doing something. “ how about just a kiss before you leave then ? just one ? “

        his mistake was giving her what she wanted , the kiss ... giving her enough room to wrap her arms and legs around him to try and drag him down. of course , it meant the kiss was cut shorter as he realized what her little plan was , but she didn’t mind.

        she just wanted to cuddle a little longer , that’s all !

        her vision is in and out , the blow to her head having effectively knocked her out ... she doesn’t remember how it happened , but things were a bit in chaos around her. or maybe noises were just louder to her ... goodness , she probably had a concussion ... 

        she doesn’t register it at first as she blinks , knowing she was definitely in something warm but that’s about it. until finally she’s able to register a face ... “ touya ... ? “ yeah ... yeah it was him.

        he’s worried , she can both hear it and see it ... her head was killing her , but this sight was some how worse. “ i’m fine ... i --- i’m fine , i promise ... “ she says as she reaches for the hand on her face , taking a hold of it before placing a kiss on the palm of his hand. the best way she knew to reassure him right now.

        “ not dead yet ... neither are you ... good ... “ her head lulls over to rest on his bicep , fingers touching her head to feel some wet ... hmm , that’s not good. when did she separate from her partner enough for this to happen ? she hears his concern once more , he needed to take her to the ambulances. but she wanted to reassure him she was fine.

        “ hey ... i’m fine , touya ... “ she looks back up at him , leaning up as much as she can , though he helped out by leaning down. she brushes her lips against his , as much of a kiss she can do , patting his cheek softly when she pulled back.

        “ lets go ... “
