Arashiyama Bamboo Forest: Foodie Tour at the Birthplace of Zen!

There’s more than just bamboo forest and zen temples in Arashiyama, there are plenty of delicious food to be had as well!

1. Dango, Japanese dumpling made from rice flour.

2. Yojiya Cafe (Parfait - Ice Cream) 

3. Yuba & Cheese (Dried Tofu skin with cheese and fish cake)

4. Ikayaki (similar to Takoyaki but more of a pancake style)

I ate Hanshin-Meibutsu-Ikayaki（grilled squid）(^o^)

Squid and sauce, I think maybe the simplicity is the reason why it is popular (^o^)
