I wanna draw smth for pride month but I never got around to finishing it

Dang I can't even draw my fixations from last year. Now they just piled up bc idk how else to express my love for them

What I thought was 'art block' last year and the year before that would just be permanent for me now

Drawing used to be so fun, now it's taxing. I just want to finish a complete illustration for once without making it feel that I'm forcing myself to do smth I used to enjoy. It's so frustrating

Cuz the weird thing abt how I share my fixations. It's like I feel the NEED for me to draw abt it in order to express the impression that: "I recently checked out [new media/growing fixation] and I love it! :D"

But since idk how to draw anymore...or at least not enjoy it as much as before

I never get to let out my enthusiasm on said fixations until they slowly fade away from time to time

And I feel just rambling abt it out of the blue feels awkward since even talking about my interests IRL and on social media gives me social anxiety

And I know Tumblr is supposed to be easier for me where it's literally a site where you can talk endlessly abt ur interests and scream into the void shamelessly abt it but idk... I'd still get anxious when interacting with ppl (if ever they do). Maybe I'm just super weird

Man I guess I'd try to just ramble abt my fixations even if it's a year late since it started. Lucky it's still living in my head rent free cuz what else would make me more mentally ill is being unhinged abt my blorbos

Also the only thing I CAN do to express my love for my fixations is to edit AMVs about them. That I can at least focus on, tho it's still not the same with drawing bc there's just so much you can do with just putting clips together.

I really missed drawing..........
