Ever since the Tostinos Invitational, everyone’s been training in doubles just in case

Usual teams are: Skillshare Kirby and Audible Link (sponsorship swag), Incin and Ridley (two big boys!!), Zelda and Wii Fit (Harlow, you are the reason I headcanon those two as a team), Major and P.Con (third realm/student and teacher swag obviously), Lucina and Naomi (just two gal pals! With weapons!!), P.Con and Tony (just two convicts- what crimes under the law will they commit?), Rosa and Ken (lovebugs on the battle field 😳)

Teams that don’t happen often but made for interesting matchups: Major and Naomi (they REALLY didn’t want to fight in a team together, but did somewhat well despite the bickering!), Naomi and Zelda (help the girls are doing friendly fire against each other!!!)

Teams are sometimes completely random so yeah!

Dede and Tony lowkey share gay-related memes during Fighter’s Meetings, catch the two of them quietly lose their shit while someone is making an announcement. They will NOT admit to doing it if asked about it

Speaking of Fighter’s Meetings-

Someone always manages to bring a FULL cake, it’s always someone new and it’s gotten to the point where they’re like “Okay, who’s turn is it to bring the cake?” And they’ve got a list

Sometimes there’s a pre-fighter’s-meeting-baking-get-together at whoever’s house’s turn to make the cake

Ness and Villager ‘steals’ juice boxes from the training room

Banjo and Kazooie appear out of no where, beat the top ranking fighter, and then is never seen again for a few months

Wii Fit owns a big van because she occasionally drives fighters home from training sessions (she used to have a pick up truck but traded it in for a van- she actually doesn’t mind having to drive everyone around)

Naomi and Tony are just like “IM AT THE PIZZA HIT AND TACO BELL- I’m at the combination Pizza Hut and Taco Bell :)”
