Yeah like what is it gonna take for Owen to see a therapist. He’s almost died like 2 or 3 different times. You would think nearly dying would be enough of a wake up call but I guess not??? And also the fact that his own child AND doctor tell him to basically see a therapist? He’s so quick to recommend it to other people but for himself? Nah. Im a strong man I have a skincare routine and hair care regimen and I drink nasty green smoothies that probably taste like dirt I’m fine!!! - that was my impression of Owen lmao. And I’m not trying to downplay his issues because trauma and survivor’s guilt are serious things that I would never make fun of. I’m clowning Owen because he acts like he’s this guy who has it all together when if you think about it, he seems to be the character to have it the LEAST together on lone star. And Tommy just lost her husband and Grace literally is in physical therapy, recovering from the accident while PREGNANT. Mateo just lost his home and all his possessions. Marjan got slammed on social media. And yet all these other characters I just mentioned learned to move on and grow as better people and take these experiences as a learning lesson. Of course Tommy especially is still mourning but she is somehow more level headed than Owen like what??? But Owen? Nah. Surviving 9/11 and nearly dying in the crossover and having cancer? Nah. That’s just things that happen. Of course I’m fine on my own, bottling things up by drinking a little too much and over sharing to strangers who could not care less- another Owen impression lol. Like dude GET HELP

i literally wanted to write a blunt 2 line long answer but i cant be casual about this bitch of a tv show lmao but i didnt put much thought into it so dont @ me

1) jane and m-chael were fighting during their honeymoon period, including going to bed without finishing an argument breaking a basic couple 101 rule (m-chael agreeing with rafael on mateo’s religion thing, jane going to sleep angry instead of talking it out); 

2) they talked about rafael quite a lot (jane’s ex! for whom jane has previously left mikey for! wtf!) 

3) jane was jealous of catalina and not for the reasons she said she was, she was jealous of the spark between rafael and catalina. she used the exact same excuses rafael used back in season 2 and she knew she was jealous and had to hide her jealousy from her husband and even lie to him lol then made up some excuse so she could sleep better at night or something lol 

4) what made jane and rafael happen in the first time was their intense, cosmic, fate-y connection but what ruined them was their lack of “friendship” but after “letting go” of each other(aka shutting down feelings because they Had To) and creating room for them to actually become friends and get to know each other on friendship basis, i do believe they could actually develop feelings for each other again, regardless of mikeboy, because the connection was still there and will always be there. in the first mikey fuck up, she’d bounce off mikey’s wild ride (#tbt to season 1 when jane was basically just waiting for mikeboy to give her a reason to leave him for raf lmao)

5) “what if he had lived-” but he didnt. he died. dead. to death. rip in pisces. they been hinting at his Dead Status since season 1. and jane can’t be miserable for the rest of her life. if u want her to mourn over her dead husband for as long as she lives and never love anyone as much as she loved michael, it’s cause you don’t want her to be happy lol just say u were only here for the white cop and go idk

6) mc boy was never meant to be the one for her. this is fiction. written and planned fiction. we’re not talking about real life, there’s no what if because this is a show (based on a real telenovela) that has had its endgame defined since its pitch to the cw. jennie urman has admitted that mikey wasn’t supposed to live as long as he did, he stayed mainly bc the writers liked brett (and like i get it i love him id die for him brett if ur out there call me); he was just never meant to be jane’s endgame and i don’t think jennie urman could’ve been more clear about it lmao when she talked about the season 2 finale she literally said that everyone was extremely far from their “happily ever after” and idk it’s like... 

7) jane’s heart glowed brighter than it had ever had before when she was dancing with rafael in the season 4 finale. brighter than every time her heart has ever glowed including with mikey. like, the show is literally showing you #shownottell her feelings for rafael are stronger than anything she has ever felt before. they are giving you visual hints of that. they literally had to use plain white frames to truly capture how blindingly bright her heart was glowing over RAFAEL. with whom she still has that fate-y connection and now has the friendship with;

9) idk man? but like the show is gonna continue and have the endgame jennie urman has had set since the beginning so like... they can stay mad i guess? idk i dont have much to add, it’s just that if you know a telenovela you should be used to the idea that a couple that doesn’t have the telenovela couple traits won’t end up together lol? idk im hungry and kinda tired i guess thats all then bye lovers
