1.  A Bond That Lasts Centuries

My Douxilly au fanfic inspired by @alovesongshewrote ‘s Almost A Thousand Years, it’s pretty much my first continuous fanfic that I am still working on for the next part (sorry, if I kept any of you waiting for it xD).

I was super inspired by AATY but was incredibly nervous about turning the au ramblings I came up with while reading the fic that I shared with friends into a fanfic, mostly from the fact that I might be accused of copying. But Lovesong and everyone in the Discord server as well as just my friends have been super sweet and supportive and I couldn’t be happier!

2.  Douxilly Ship Art

3.  Shadowmancy (Pre Wizards Douxilly Oneshot)

Ah, my second ever oneshot posted for not only Tumblr  but for the ToA fandom in general.

I am super proud of this oneshot because it was my first time delving into trying to write more magic stuff, trying to describe magical and tense scenes, writing Merlin. 

But it also gave me a chance to try delving more into writing a frustrated moppet Douxie, who is just determined and impatient, writing a more timid Illy who is....honestly naive when it comes to her affection and loyalty to Douxie. It also let me explore a line from Wizards that always peeked my interest when it came to Douxie’s past, “I never had the gift for Shadowmancy”, 

Overall, I’m just really proud of this one.

4.  Selena Lucia Rica

Granted, I only made one post about her but I am really proud about how she came out design wise and am working on developing her backstory right at this moment as well as making Zolena art!

5.  Birthday Surprise (Pre Wizards Douxilly Oneshot)

The first oneshot I ever posted here and for the ToA fandom!

In all honesty, I just enjoyed how fluffy it is xD.

This was my first time attempting to write moppet Douxie and also trying to write his and past Illy’s friendship as well as her one sided affection for him. It was also my first time writing Archie, if I am not mistaken and I really wanted to give him and Illy a sibling like relationship.

7.  Happy Birthday Douxie! (Art and Oneshot)

Haha, I enjoyed making these,

Now, I won’t say they are my best work but I did immensely enjoy doing special things for my comfort wizard’s birthday! It was also just fun to work on birthday themed stuff so closely to my own birthday.

For the art, I would say it was great to get more practice drawing Nari and Archie, I really loved how they turned out and I can’t wait to draw them more. Oh! also the lighting, I’m still practicing but I was proud of how it turned out!

The oneshot, again, not my best but I loved getting to delve into Illy’s dynamic with Archie and Nari and giving them some special family bonding, trying to make Douxie a birthday cake. Plus, the chaos of it all was super fun!

It’s the first time I’m moving since I was 7 and has really thrown a wrench in my plans to enroll in the great band and college prep programs at my current school next year. I also have to say goodbye to my best friend on Wednesday because chances are we aren’t going to meet in person again. Hey there cormorantcolors, wow, that's a pretty cool username by the way. Yeah, moving is a pretty big deal. Having your whole life shaken up isn't something that's totally easy for anyone. The good news is that I'm pretty sure that I can help you out. I'm used to moving around a lot, and it's been a while since I stayed in one place for too long, so moving for me is kind of the norm. Yeah, some plans are going to be void, but hey, it sounds like you're interested in band. That could be a good way to introduce yourself into your new school, and probably set you up well to start meeting some new people. And if college prep is important to you, you could try looking for a similar program at your new school, or there are lots of good programs online.

Yeah, leaving people is always the hardest part, and I'm real sorry this has to happen to you. Thankfully, this is the digital era, so it's gonna be real easy for you to keep in touch. You can always go right on back to using zoom or other video chatting things. I don't know any tech terms, or even websites so, I'm real sorry if I sound like I'm fifty. And are you sure you're never going to meet in person again? I know I don't have all the information, but you guys can always visit each other. I know a few states away sounds like a lot, but in the grand scheme of things, it's not too bad. Maybe on long weekends or holidays you two could get together in person?

Words of wisdom huh? Well, I'll try my best. You're gonna want to put yourself out there. I know it can be hard being in a new place and all, but the more open you are to your environment, the more open it'll be to you. You don't have to try and talk to every person around you, but I'd try to at least start some interactions so you have a solid basis for social interactions. I'd also get oriented with your new environment. Go for walks or drive around the area so it can start to feel a little more familiar. Just take the time to explore, and hopefully things will start to feel more familiar pretty quickly. No one's expecting you to just thrive right off the bat, it's a big change, and you can take your time. As long as you keep a good balance of taking care of yourself and stepping out of your comfort zone a little bit, I think you're gonna be just fine. You said you moved before when you were seven, and yeah, it's different now, but if you did it before, you can do it again. Just keep your horizons open. You got this ok? Regardless of where you are, you're still going to grow and change into a real amazing person.

Hello cormorantcolors! I must agree with Rantaro, that's a very unique and wonderful username! Wow, I think that's a lot of news to take in. Even a rough estimate of how much processing power that would take is a lot. Have you been taking care of yourself physically? I heard that sometimes news like that can take a toll on your body. I can't speak from experience, but I can say that it's important to keep yourself running as smoothly as you can. Hmm, having to recalculate plans is always difficult, and it sounds like yours were completely turned around! Even if your original plan isn't going to work out, you can still take some pieces of it and make a new one.

Like Rantaro said, you can use your interest in band to your advantage at school. People that have things in common have good chances of becoming friends, if that's what you want to accomplish. Either way, it's good to hear that you have an activity that you enjoy, and I hope that can help you during the move. I'm sorry that you have to say goodbye to your best friend. I couldn't even imagine having to say goodbye to any of mine. However, it doesn't have to be goodbye forever. Again, Rantaro is correct. There are plenty of apps and platforms for you to communicate over, such as texting/ims, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Tumblr, Discord, Skype, Zoom, Google Hangouts, as well as others. You have lots of options for continued communication, so picking your favorite and continuing your friendship may be a good idea, even if it is long distance. 

I've never moved before, so I don't know how much wisdom I can offer, but I'm willing to put my full effort into trying! I don't want to repeat what Rantaro said, so here are a few new ideas that might help. I know that this may sound sort of cheesey...But making a list of the positives that are around your new home may be helpful. Looking on the bright side can change your outlook on things. It's not easy to do, but I think it's worth a try. I would also try to take extra good care of yourself, I believe the human form of maintenance is self care? Be sure to do plenty of things that make you happy, or maybe start some new projects so you have something to work on! I hope these ideas are helpful, I don't have any past experiences in my memory banks to base them off of. Even though it's scary and different, you're going to be ok. Even if it takes some time, you're going to adapt to your new surroundings. It may take some time to get comfortable, but that will happen eventually. Just continue to treat yourself kindly. I wish you luck on the move!
