if you want your own personalized art and stuff plsssssss come to me!!!! :33 rbs and stuff would be welcomed and more info bellow
hallo! doing a bit of a breakdown here:
for colored pieces, the starting price is $70, considering already 2 characters and a background :3
meanwhile for sketches they will start on $40 for a full body + object, such as like a bike or stuff. those are fun and can really play with composition and refs. it takes less time than others bcs of the fun nature of a sketch, but still is like a 2 step work!!
and for icons im doing $25 for this chalky one, with lineart + fun texture... i really love doing those and its been a while since i last had the chance to be seeing people on the tl using it :33

hey lol 🗡anon here again i did a thing 😋
the clothes r so jank bc i didnt have the 3 weeks and 12 different rough drafts that comes with designing genshin characters 😭 but yeah here’s my god darling as one of those genshin little portrait card things!! if you couldn’t tell i’m bad at lineart so this was kind of hell but im committed to my darling vephar… maybe one day i’ll actually give them a full body and not just a little bust drawing
anyway zhongli does not deserve them
[lock comment time]
WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU'RE BAD AT LINEART,, this is absolutely immaculate omg. i'm so obsessed with the eyes especially... the color reminds me of seafoam and of course god darling's connection to the shoreline and AA the pretty jewelry beneath their eyes <33 and rocking the red eyeliner <333 THE STARCONCH IN THEIR HAIR I'M WEEPING. i really really really love your inclusion of the starconch since its found mostly on yaoguang shoal and just ah,,, it all connects so well. i can see the amount of thought and effort that you put into the design and i love it so much <3 the pearl necklace gives them such an elegant vibe too like please ... i'll study law... become a lawyer.... and try to get god darling out of that contract myself. hand in marriage please. thank you for blessing us with your art i'm absolutely living for it <33333333333333333333333333

Hi! Your artwork is AMAZING and really inspiring. I was curious how long it typically takes you to complete a drawing because I spend like…….. days, I’m so slow
hi!! sorry for the late reply i was cleaning my fish tank which takes me hours to do hsdgfsh
first of all, thank you!! wth!!! inspiring????? goddamn thats like the best possible compliment holy cow thank you so much!! <333
my response was a little long lol so i'm putting it under the cut :-)
as for time? it really depends on the piece. i think the sapnap one took me just under two hours to make? but i think it was so quick because i wasn't too worried about how detailed his face was since it was gonna be a 3/4 body picture. and the body never takes me too long since i mostly just do a solid blob of color for the silhouette and then put in some blotches on top of that for shading/lighting and call it a day!
i think on average my drawings take 3-4 hours to do, while some can end up taking 5-6. im pretty sure this one took me the longest out of any of my art at 6+ hours but that was mostly due to how detailed i made the hand and hair. normally those are two areas that i get pretty lazy in
once i find my groove in a drawing it's usually smooth sailing from then on whereas when im working on something that im feeling kind of ehh about i tend to get frustrated and make a lot of mistakes that all stack up in a bunch of wasted time
so, go at your own pace! speed doesn't make something better, tbh for me it usually just results in sloppy art lol. everyone works differently and at different paces and it doesn't influence whether something is going to be good or not. some of us are fast readers! personally im a slow af reader but that doesn't change how much i love books 🤷‍♀️
i think what's really important is just making sure that you're enjoying drawing. i took almost ten years off of drawing because of how unhappy it made me. i would just get SO frustrated when things weren't going right and it made me srsly hate drawing. but then a few months ago i started experimenting with different tools and tactics and honestly? fuck the rules, if you aren't liking the style that you feel expected to draw (ie: lineart/lineless/realism/cartoony) then don't do it! switch it up! try something different! try something until you find the style that makes art fun again :-)
sorry for the long rant im kind of incapable of not rambling when people ask me questions, but i hope any of this was useful for whoever's reading! id love to go into my own strategies and experiences if anyone is interested, but im realllyyyyy trying to reel myself in here hahah
