HI SORRY THIS TOOK SO LONG TO ANSWER i kinda fell off tumblr for a while i can’t lieee… but i love this question and i love you for asking it and it made my autism fire off on all cylinders so hope you don’t mind a response that is way longer than it has any right to be HEHE

im actually gonna take this ask in a different direction than you maybe originally meant it in so i apologize for that however i think my interpretations work best if i specifically use the loonaverse versions of the members because for 1 it just fits together a little better in my head if i connect these fictional characters to the fictionalized versions of these irl people, if that makes sense. and 2 im also just very autistic about the loonaverse. sorry

ok so despite the fact that i associate lola w that specific pic of yj, i find her more in line with yves, narratively speaking. because, well. yves is a fucking player. sneaking out to go on dates with vivi, stringing along chuu to make her partake of the fruit, recruiting her to convince gowon to do the same, fucking hyeju over, and THEN after hyeju had her little angry moment, yves just flashed her a smile and a wave to make her forgive her???? she has everyone wrapped around her finger. it’s crazy. two little baddie rulebreakers who WILL get what they want through love and/or war. love them

as for pinky, i debated on this one a bit. on one had there’s the undeniable rich girl swag of haseul. on the other, the princess-like charms of gowon were tempting. but ultimately? she’s a yeojin girl. her debut concept was so cute and quirky, but still with a distinct attitude to it that very much gives spoiled youngest and/or only child. she also has that same princess vibe, but a little more bright and youthful compared to gowon’s darker/more somber side of it. beyond debut, yeojin’s persona develops to lean more into that sassier vibe with the cuter aspects becoming more of an undertone which is very pinky to me

mandy… this one is flexible for me as well, between heejin or jinsoul. ppl usually say this about hyeju, but i actually think heej and soul have more “two sides of the same coin” qualities which kinda makes me wanna use them as a pair? like a duality if that makes sense. they’re both kinda morally ambiguous, heejin leaning more towards good and jinsoul more neutral/possibly evil, and also seem to have a lot more like. knowledge about the universe they’re in. like they’re very Aware of things and both attempt to exercise control over their surroundings a lot. jinsoul’s methods (allegedly!) are more Morally Questionable which is kinda where mandy leans, but i think the conflict between the two (as seen in not friends) can represent her change in how she views people and approaches relationships after… everything. they’re also both super gay

for beatrice i think maybe vivi? it’s mostly vibes based here. but vivi being an android is shown to be something that alienates her from her peers and makes her insecure in herself, despite the fact that she’s probably smarter and more talented than most if not all of them because of it. she still just wants to fit in and be a normal girl with friends who like her. later on, vivi’s android powers are shown to be more of an asset that can help her and her friends when they need it. i mean she literally piloted a space ship by herself for presumably several years to help them jump timelines or something. i think beatrice would appreciate that. plus, i think the edily concept can represent her more girly and romantic side. real yearner girl hours

now for zoe. hyeju. she’s hyeju. no debate really. they’re both initially characterized by their anger, having been hurt and betrayed and feeling really alone and isolated. hyeju is kinda viewed as a villain or a bad person because of her anger and craving for revenge, and while she can be volatile, at the end of the day she’s kinda just. a kid who was hurt. and yeah maybe she isn’t the “perfect victim”, she’s rude and angry and lashes out at people whether they deserve it or not. but she still didn’t deserve to be hurt the way she was. and she very much IS capable of love and forgiveness and she can eventually mend what was broken if she accepts the help offered to her. it just might take her a little extra time and some people willing to give her a chance. and also forgive some possible alleged murders but that’s not important

Kazmir Lycant (Left) Male - He/Him + An indigo werewolf shifter, that's kind of chaotic evil, that's a pretty rough design idea, used to be a really nice guy until he got fucked over so much that he just went apeshit at some point, though he's mellowed out some since + Used to hate Hespar, because the guy almost got him killed when they were both younger, but at this point he's kind of gotten attached to the old fool and they might manage to bond with one another yet...

Hespar Laetum (Right) Male - He/Him + Old man Monster Hunter Cowboy Wizard! He's a design trade I got from @goddesstrolls + He hunts the undead and other creatures that are dangerous to most regular trolls - he started hunting Kazmir many years ago when the guy started to go apeshit and almost killed him, but got away + Kazmir has since become Hespar's white whale of sorts, always trying to find him and take him down, though he's starting to get old enough where even his magic can't help offset his waning strength and skills anymore

Anudal Nubihs (Left) Neutral - He/Him + A Businessman, if you will... Not quite a troll this one, is he? + What business? You're not sure, though if you'd ask him he'd probably say he was in the business of death, which is why the Alternian Empire is so lucrative + He's far above most petty, mortal things, but he indulges occasionally to alleviate potential boredom

Orvear Retrix (Right) Male - He/Him + Rainbowdrinker artist, chaotic evil, a wee lil bit insane! A design trade I got from @goldenguillotines + Orvear is... a lil fucked up in the head, he's obsessed with beauty (or at the very least what he himself defines as beauty), he's always looking for models for his paintings and sculptures and might become obsessive with what he thinks is a beautiful troll + he will seduce trolls he thinks are attractive enough for his taste, get them to pail with him and then drink their blood, because that's how feeding works best for him

based on the way things are now, his relationship with dabi and the LOV/meta whatever, his position as the #2 hero and double agent for the commission, what do you think will be the most likely/realistic thing that'll happen to hawks in the future chapters?

o man im super bad at gauging where a plot-line is realistically headed because i have a bad habit of misinterpreting a lot of the content BUT i dont think it looks too good on either side

in the latest few chapters, hawks understood the urgency needed to inform the hero commission about the progression of the lov. it sounds like they already have a good idea of what happened (given their vague statements about deika city), but not to the extent that he does. he mentioned telling endea/vor but i dont think?? endvr was in on the double agent thing? (hence the whole surprise nomu incident) so i dont know if him going to the number 1 is going to affect his mission in either which way. but i definitely feel like the upcoming internship with class a’s big 3 is going to be a heavy plot point. hawks having murdered jeanist (bakugou’s involvement), hawks’ involvement with dabi and the potential for the touya reveal (endevvr and todoroki involvement) and hawks’ double agent bullshit with shigaraki and all for one (midoriya involvement). it feels like this is the calm before the storm and all hell is abt to break loose (especially with horikoshi’s statement about the manga getting darker / having more reveals, etc). 

i think the only thing im pretty certain of is that he’s going to be the commission’s scapegoat for jeanist’s murder* (i srsly just think its a body double / clone) so that he can get full participation with the league. they already know that he doesnt care about publicity, rank, etc. so i think they’re going to take advantage of that and its gonna oof ouch hurt a bit. drag his name through the mud, blame him for x and y, make him a controversial public figurehead, and then send him out to finish his mission

but then AgAIN dabi is already suspicious of hawks and i wouldn’t put it past shigaraki and co. to know that something is up. so of course, you have the possibility of them sniffing him out. i’ve heard theories about hawks being used as a high end nomu (??) but i think thats pretty unrealistic && ill eat my words if it actually happens. i also dont think they’ll kill him, either, but im sure they arent going to let him go easy if they understand the extent to which he’s working w the commission :/

so i cant really say AAKJDFH . i honestly dont know who’s going to get to him first. the commission sees him as a sacrifice for the greater good, but the lov/plf also wont tolerate any double agent narrative. personally?? i want some fun chaotic neutral hawks in which his morals are blurred and sets up a divide between true “good and evil” but in reality he’s probably going to be pro until the end, in which he’s more or less alienated from both sides and kinda left working w the commission from underground or something idk

Session 4 - So many geists.

We opened the session with a battle we set up the previous one: The party was traveling through a desecrated town seeking out any cult activity, and found two Really Angry Ghosts. Revenants? The party cleric, Mikela, tried to reason with them, failed, and was attacked- initiating group combat. My character, Uriel, took a quick 10 damage and fell prone dodging what would have been a lethal 16 more, she pretty much just cried the whole battle- got one or two mediocre hits in. The scaab, Ugly, was called from an alley over; a turn in or so he made a Grand Entrance to the battle- koolaid man style through an empty building.

Mikela and our necro-alchemist Sibyl dealt an impressive amount of damage through radiant attacks and giest-powered-spells. Sibyl dealt the final blow with a spell that I imagined looking like a more fire-y version of the ghostbusters plasma streams ripping the hostile giests in two. Extremely cool.

Post battle Mikela tried reasoning with some non-hostile looking giests that were floating around watching the battle. Impressively- thankfully- three of them came around and spoke with the party. They expressed a desire to pass into the aether, which Mikela gladly offered to help them do. She set up and began a 10 minute ritual to help first of the three ghosts move on- one that required concentration. Sibyl, needing ghosts to power her inventions and all, also decided to speak with the geists in an effort to persuade them help us save the town in the form of boo-juice. The friendliest/most helpful geist declined politely, the third ghost eagerly agreed to avenge his town and stop the probably-cult we are building up to fight against. 

This could have gone nicely, but, our cleric really, Really, objects to the concept of necro-alchemy and using ghosts as spirits as fuel. While Sibyl was speaking with the giests- getting consent and all to turn them into a power source- Mikela was unable to stop her ritual and confront Sibyl... and was getting progressively more and more angry. Just as the cleric had finished her ritual, the necro-alchemist was starting one to capture the ghost. Mikela charged Sibyl and grabbed her super-cool-ghost-storing-but-still-decorative-broach and triggered a mini-combat between the two of them.

Mikela had the broach, Sibyl acid-bombed the both of them, the broach was dropped and kicked towards my characters, Ugly flung the broach back to Sibyl. As Sibyl paused to inspect the item for damage, Mikela quick started trying to set up a ritual and force the avenging giest to move on. This Really pissed off avenging giest, and it threatened to turn hostile- shooting out some fireballs at Mikela. Sibyl also got back into the frey to tell Mikela off and smack her around a bit (which is... all they did to each other this time. a small slap fight). Damage was dealt, yelling and tears happened, and my character- for the most part- was enjoying the show up until about now like

However, with the two other party members were both crying, and the ghost was spitting fire everywhere, the whole ordeal had stopped being entertaining and Uriel was about ready to step in..... didn’t end up needing to though. Mikela finally, after a few solid throws, broke concentration on the ritual and dissolved into a blubbering teary mess. With Mikela having backed down, Sibyl was able to neutralize the angry spirit and absorb it as power. Both characters were Spent. 

Note: this was a great conflict and I’m counting on the character’s handlers to have all the details and arguments that went down because... I’m short on detail b/c I was building dice towers and this is actually a very interesting fight... and because this is the second time now the two have butt heads over Ghost Stuff :3c we have a Theme growing here folks.

Post fight Sibyl was staring into space (IS...pretty sure she ended the session Still In This State...) and Mikela was sobbing grossly on the ground. Uriel, despite this shit not being her forte at All, had to do something- suddenly becoming Party Leader. She approached Mikela and delivered silent paps, getting her pulled into a sobby bear hug. Mikela cry-ranted about hating the position she is in, having to fight and not being able to help anyone (ghost or not). She didn’t sign up for this shit. After some more (freaked and awkward) back pats Uriel summoned her monster over to take her place in the bear hug (unsure if this worked, I like to think Mikela koala clinged to Ugly just as quickly lmao).

Even after all this, that one friendly ghost stuck around with us. It tipped us off that “They are coming this way”. Uriel, staying true to last session’s decision of ‘not wanting to fuck with Them or That or whatever the fuck (cultists- its cultists)’ starts leading the emotionally broken/physically exhausted party back to town. Note: She’s the only one who realized we left some civilians we were traveling with along the cultists’ path.... but they’ll be Fine, they have an axe, we gave them an axe, they’ll be FINE. Sibyl doesn’t follow the group right away, so Uriel loops back around and offers consoling paps to her as well. When asked if she was okay, she says nothing but starts following the party.... which was good enough. 

Once in town Uriel starts knocking on doors and announcing that “The demon slaying heroes from yesterday need help, we helped you, please help us.” Mikela joins in, affirming loudly that, yes, we slay demons, and that we are with the church and would love some hospitality please. We get a dude to speak to us through a cracked door, Uriel manages to convince him to a point, but starts to flounder (largely due to my own not-great improv skills) and is backed up by Mikela. Sibyl I think is just... standing in the background, wall eyed, with the scaab and ghost... freakin’ this dude out.

 He agrees to let us in if we ditch the undead we have in our party. Mikela doesn’t want to give up the ghost (lol) and tries to persuade the dude to let our giest friend come in- against Uriel’s sound advice, “enough with these fucking ghosts” (thats a joke I didn’t say that). She has the ghost tell what it knows about cult recruitment; the cult is gaining more members by terrorizing the town with devils and shit and making them question Avacyn’s powers and protection. They then prey on civilians who’s faith has wavered and introduce them to the cult. 

During her persuasion the LOUD EVIL VOICE from the night before starts speaking from an adjacent row of houses- out of sight but still getting Uncomfortably Close. It pretty much word for word confirms what ghost friend said, but in an insufferable boisterous evil way. Both Uriel and Mikela are about to change course and follow the cult- pretty much resigned that there’s no Way they’re getting shelter now- but the man allows everyone, ghost and all, into his home (We snuck Ugly in as well.... and by snuck we mean it forced itself through the door before the kindly dude could shut it completely). And that’s where we ended, in a random strangers’ home with cultists doing some recruitment outside. 

Note to myself: if I don’t get answers out of Sibyl during our stay here I’m gonna d i e.

Undertale!Papyrus

HE’S HONORED. Not only does he have Bonetrousle, he also has Nyeh Heh Heh! Papyrus being himself, he thinks the themes sound heroic (they sound more silly than anything to me though) and he absolutely loves them. He’s so proud of them, he’d go around, singing them, humming them, getting other people to hear his themes, asking them for their opinion, all that stuff. All in all, he’s being a cinnamon roll about it.

Undertale!Undyne

She was really impressed to hear them, and by the time she’s had a chance to hear almost the whole theme(s), she probably managed to break a few things here and there out of excitement. Her theme(s) pump her up! Undyne’s proud of them, and probably likes to think about them while she works out (having music during a work out is always 99.9% more fun than a work out without music) or when she’s in battle. She’s probably going to try to learn a way to play them on her piano (messy/almost MIDI version of the OST). 

Undertale!Sans

(okay, we’ve all read that theory saying that Megalovania is Chara’s theme, so I’m gonna just go with a sort of “what if Song That Might Play When You Fight Sans and Megalovania were fused together” thing, ‘kay? Just tell us if you had a different idea!) 

(Also, Pacifist/Neutral Sans?? Is that okay??)

Listen, we’ve all heard his theme, and now, so has he, and boy, it’s exhausting only l i s t e n i n g to it! He doesn’t understand h o w it’s supposed to be HIS theme. For all he knows, his personality doesn’t quite match the theme (little does he know.. *evil, french laughter (HON HON HONN)*)… But he does like the sound of it, and Papyrus seems to be quite impressed by it (WOWIE! IT’S SO… intense.), so he’s fine with it.
