"Let him be alone for a bit Pete, then you can talk" Yn said calmly, the dinner continued but really awkward.

"Yeah, you are right, also I think our plan will cheer him up!"

"I'm sure it'll do" yn gave a little peek on the lips of Peter.

"What are you two up to?" May asked, but they just smiled to themselves and continued eating.

Hey I hope it's not too late to share some thoughts on the latest Risk chapter...? I absolutely adore everything about it and the story as a whole (though I have this sinking feeling that we can't just have soft boys being soft and that there is some plot creeping up on us as we read) but what I love most is Alpha!Billy. I mean ofc Omega!Steve (especially in his Rudolph jammies) speaks to me on a spiritual level but Billy..? Sweet and protective and just tiny bit asshole-y and just about perfect? I want to cradle him in the palms of my hands and just never let him go. (I told you once that the way you write Alphas has absolutely ruined me. I refuse to fall in love unless it's with and Alpha written by you.)

Also, I'm very pro-murder when it comes to Neil Hargrove but also I'm kind of... not??? Because yeah killing him would be satisfying and it would remove him from the boys' lives forever but also it'd be too easy for him. So don't kill him. Instead strip him of control. Make him small. Make him watch as everyone he used to control lives on, happy and fulfilled, without him. Make him forgotten. I know it might not be a universal experience but having personally seen both sides of the [emotional] abuser-abusee relationship (and isn't that an awful confession) there is nothing worse than being ignored by those you used to control.

Whew that got long! Anyway, thank you for this chapter, it has given me *a lot* of thoughts. Oh and also! I've seen you apologising (here on tumblr or on ao3, i cant remember exactly) for writing long chapters (sic!). Honey, we looove long chapters. We survive only thanks to them. They are beacons of soft light in this cruel cold world. My time is no longer measured by weeks or days but by mail notifications that NCTS updated a fic.

So first of all, FIRST of all, it is literally never too late to share your thoughts on anything I've ever written. I don't care if its a fic from five years ago or from last week, by all means PLEASE share your thoughts I am 100% motivated by comments and interaction with my readers so I'm always happy to hear from you guys!

Also? No comment is too long. I have one reader that literally screen shots parts of the story she likes then texts me exactly why she likes it in excruciating detail. Sometimes there's 30+ text messages on a single chapter. So trust me. No comment is too long. I love all of them. My readers are the only people I get to talk fandom things with so bring it on!

RE: The softness of Risk. I can actually promise that there... isn't? any plot or sadness to this story. Other than the already in verse issue of Neil and the aftermath of one of those scenes that is hard to read (but ends in the softy softness so its okay) there isn't much going on in this story besides BillySteve falling head over heels in love with each other!

I love LOVE Alpha!Billy. There are some characters that completely fulfill the 'Alpha Checklist' without needing to change in the slightest and Billy is one of those characters. Wade Wilson/Deadpool is another one of those characters. Literally all I did was add fangs to Billy and PRESTO he's the worlds most in character Alpha ever.

And you're right, Omega!Steve is all things actually wonderful but there is something very very good about Alpha!Billy and specifically Alpha!Billy alongside Omega!Steve. The way that biological and secondary gender influences their moments is *chefs kiss*.

There is definitely a Fuck You Neil moment in this fic. Yeah I'm still leaning towards straight up murdering him but for several reasons I'm pretty sure I'm going to stick to the original plan for it to be less murdery and more of a metaphorical and probably literal middle finger to him cos you're RIGHT sometimes its so much better just to make that person irrelevant and small and ignored.

The next chapter will probably (hopefully?) not be as long as the last few but it's ultra ultra soft so if it gets long, so be it.

I promise I don't stalk, it's just that I open Tumblr and you were on some of the first posts (I don't follow that many people tho). either way HIHI! I wish I could send you the picture I have of minlix of Minho hugging Lix bc thats ME PROTECTING YOU FROM ALL EVIL IN THIS WORLD! about the rambling and essay answers, we are a match, bc I do love them (sending and receiving).

01. I'm not cool, I promise! I'm just a person with a lot of time to spend on my hand and with a curious mind! haha about the NGOs it would be incredible for your curriculum if you manage to do an internship at the UN, they have massive openings from time to time and it varies from a month to six months, and they usually take undergrads or recently graduated students, it will look INCREDIBLE in your curriculum and they have a MAJOR line of choice, ik this one girl that was an undergrad with me and she manage to work at ACNUR in a refugee camp, then she got called as an intern for six months in Washington working on the Assembly, it was surreal! the best way to get into them is go to their site and dig deep so you find ways to work with them, some pay an amount or give you a place to stay, but what they put there is what you get. you'll work a lot, but the experience will be insane.

02. SAME FOR ME! I always loved how the conflicts happened and the resolution of them, but mostly how they happened and developed (which is one of the reasons why my view on some conflicts are so different than most people around me, I lost count how many times I got into arguments with people over the Russia-Ukraine and Israel-Palestine situation). my ultimate favorite classes were more towards the end of the curriculum, they were the ones that changed me for good, like the puzzle of it all it fits after those? it was like I was seeing everything from a magnifying glass or something. don't get me started with my beef with the US and how they handle everything since the second war 😓

03. i had three options of thesis, which looking now is insane, was China was one of them! it was China (but I don't remember how I was gonna portrait it), Korean War (before ik about kpop) and the one I did which was about the rise and fall of Yugoslavia from the premise of the multicultural state. my first counselor wanted me to do focusing on my country, but I wanted the conflict not the portrait of a multicultural state, then I found a new counselor and she helped me so much! with that my thesis is not in English (the full one), but I sure can send you the abstract of it! (let's see if you know who I am and send me a message asking for the abstract 👀 jkjk) and don't apologize for allowing your IR nerd side to come out, that means you are enjoying the course and its helping you get better as a person and view the world in a way to help it get better (at least thats how i justify mine and some of my friends moments when this happen haha).

04. last time I talked and helped someone with something regarding IR was a friend from Congo, he was having trouble with so much, but it all worked out fine and I was so glad with that. I just hope you get to do all the things you want with this course and see that everything is gray in the world, but that should not be used as justification for some things like idk cof cof GENOCIDE cof cof, sorry had something on my throat. either way, be prepare to have people going on saying shit to you when u point out things that make sense (bc you fucking studied, you didn't dig it out of your fucking ass), just bc they saw something on tv and don't want to leave their pretty perfect pink bubbly world (I'm sorry I'm being mean, had a recent disagreement and it's still lingering).

05. I also saw the anon asking about a sequel to subtext and IM SO HAPPY! that was the second story of yours that I read and god it's so perfect! i love it! the first one was the Paris one, reader and Lix scrolling through paris (the prequel to the last one u wrote). idk I just love your stories they are so simple and cute and I love it so much! you are seriously my favorite Lix writer by a mile!

06. if you remember me from that I will be happy ngl haha although my Tumblr does not have any skz stories (just recs that I should update btw and including yours THAT I FINALLY FOUND IT AGAIN), I'll come off anon at some point I promise! and when I do I'll send like five minlix pics to represent me protecting you (THE SUNSHINE) from the evil of this world. and me as well!! i think it's fascinating how the wars come to be and all the sociocultural and historical factors that lead to their culmination; i really enjoy studying the why and how as opposed to just the what, if that makes sense. also i would recommend against referring to the genocide in gaza as the "israel-palestine conflict" because 1) it isn't a conflict but a genocide and 2) the placement of "israel" before "palestine" is an intentional tactic the media has been employing to enforce the narrative of israeli colonialism. i was made aware of this in a twitter article and i hope it's okay that i gave u the same heads-up!

The light in the apartment is dimmed, you frown slightly at the quiet music coming from the living room.

“Neil?” you ask unsure as you walk to peak over the corner.

I’ve gotta take a little time.

You smile at the sight you’re met with, leaning against the door frame.

A little time to think things over

You watch as he slowly moves to the rhythm. He whispers the lyrics, his eyes are closed, his hips sway swiftly without missing a beat. His shirt undone a bit and the sleeves rolled up. A glass of wine in his hand.

Ah. That would explain it.

I better read between the lines.

He runs his fingers through his hair and you can’t help but smile as you bite into your lip.

He lifts the glass to take another sip.

“How many of these did you have?” You chuckle when he jumps slightly at your voice.

However, afterwards, when your form barreled up to him, enveloping him in a hug, he just "tch"ed and hugged you back.

You were both exhausted, you from the exertion of cheering, and him from the game, so you bussed home together.

"Good work!" You croaked at him, a stupid smile adorning your face.

(Series #6) ~loyalty Part2

If you are a member on discord server, then you will know that Kade is my pet dragon. This is explaining how we met. I really enjoyed making this so pls give it a like. Happy Vore Day as well)

After a few minutes the pain intensified and I passed out from shock and lack of oxygen. Outside the gut, the dragon had digested his meal without any problems. His prey was nothing but mush. Then, all of a sudden, the dragon felt a sharp pain in his wing and shoulder. It was so intense it made him roar with enough force to shake the cave. The broken wing healed and fixed itself, so the dragon stood up and gave it a few experimental stretches and flaps. The sudden movements caused some air to bubble out of his stomach. Buurrrppp... A skull of the King went flying across the cave, bouncing off a wall and clattering to the ground. The dragon sniffed it and gave a wide smile. He sat back down and curled up to take a long-needed nap. As he lay down, the skull began to shine and grow bright. He looked up, then turned his head and shielded his eyes. It shone so bright the whole cave lit up, and when the light dimmed, I stood in my skull's place, confused but fully aware. I stood up straight and looked at the wing. “Hey it’s fixed I told you it would work!!!”

"You're strange," the dragon said, in a soft voice. I was shocked. It could talk?? "Nobody's ever survived my gut before without a reformation machine."

“Wait what, you can talk? I said totally taken of guard

The dragon sighs with exasperation. "Yes I can talk. Why shouldn't I? I'm not some common animal."

“Well I mean sure, your a fucking dragon. I know I shouldn’t be surprised since I’m part werewolf, but why didn’t you say anything before I was eaten. Btw one of the weirdest experiences of my life. I still haven’t heard a thank you” Cal rambles on as he still try’s to comprehend a talking dragon

"Why should I thank you? You tried to kill me like five separate times in the last eight hours. I was just trying to return the favor."

"They were delicious, thank you."

The dragon circles the much smaller man, like a shark circling a surfer. "You flew into my storm. You want to protect your assets, I'm going to protect mine."

“Ummm dumb question how is a storm ur asset? It’s not like you created that storm heh heh” Cal nervously turns to stay in eye contact with the dragon. “So mister dragon, do you have a name?”

"Kade. Kade, the Great Dragon of the sky. So yes, it was my storm. I did create it. Are you familiar with Great Dragons, human?" Kade says, leaning in real close for that last sentence.

“Oh wow your breath is really hot umm, no I’m not that familiar with great dragons. I just became part werewolf and knew monster type creatures were real like 3 months ago. Uhh can I just um yeah uhh *boop. Your nose feels really good. Sorry don’t eat me again, I noticed it the first time u ate me” Cal says as he slowly back up. He’s not usually frightened of anything but a massive 40 ton dragon will make anyone weak in there knees.

"We're some of the most powerful beings on the planet. Godlike in power. One could call me the King of the Skies." Kade says, spreading his wings and standing tall, letting him bask in his glory.

"That is, if any of them respected me. I'm 'too young,' they say. I'm 24, that shouldn't be too young." The dragon is just complaining to himself at this point and seems to have forgotten that Cal exists.

“Ohh that’s sad, im sorry your not treated like the glorious dragon you are. Your so stunning, your big beautiful wings, big sharp teeth, long yellow tail, and these amazingly pointy horns. Your amazing, very handsome if I do say so myself.” Cal say, wondering if Kade the dragon is even listening

"I know right? But those stuck up higher-ups think I need to be a couple thousand before I... I'm rambling. Point is, I own the skies, and considering what you've done to me so far, you'll have to work hard to gain my trust." Kade says, slowly moving his wing around to emphasize what got hurt.

“Well how can I make it up to you? I’ve heard rumors that dragons like gold, I have tons of that back at VoreNation!!! I promise as long as I live no harm will befall upon you or any other dragons. It’s okay Kade I won’t hurt u ever again I promise. You know us humans are always shoot ask questions later” cal says jokingly, but cautiously

"Gold? How much gold?" The dragon's eyes might up with curiosity. Goldlust. Every dragon's fatal weakness.

“Ohhh ummm, as much as you want!!! You could have a hoard of gold if u want. VoreNation is very rich in gold, so most of it just lies around in my gold room. Also, to make it up to you you can be apart of the royals in VoreNation. Who knows maybe one day you will be a royal mount for me hehe!!” With happiness cal offers everything to Kade the mighty dragon

"Royalty? That's... More like it.." the dragon purrs, mind already simplifying to only base desires. "Who are you anyways?" He asks sweetly.

Ohh I’m no one really, you ever flown by VoreNation? It’s a massive city, I come from a long line of kings and queens. I’m the sitting king, ruler of all VoreNation. So yeah no one really.”Cals chest boasted as he clarifies with pride

“A king, wow that’s impressive. I would love to come stay with you. Hope there’s plenty of things to eat in this City.” Kade says as he lowers himself gesturing for me to hop on his back.

“Please don’t go too fast I don’t want to fall off and fall to the ground without a parachute.” Cal Climbs on Kade back.

They depart and head for VoreNation, a long trip, Cal would have to see Saladin another time. As they reached the city, people were scared. Running inside to get away from the massive dragon. We landed at the castle and went into the throne room. I knighted Kade and proclaimed him the Royal Mount of VoreNation. I had a special sable made to fit Kade, fit well and looked good on him. I hugged Kade, and gave him a kiss on the nose. Our bond had grown quite strong, and he was more than a pet. He was family, Kade grew quite protective of me. Though Kade was a lot of work and made big messes. He was spoiled rotten, got more gold than anyone could imagine. A prisoner was brought to me, for threats against the throne. I came up with a great idea, I snapped my fingers. The man stretched out and transformed into a beautiful leather collar. With gold designs, and edging that spelled out Kade. He moved his massive head down and I placed it on him. Kade wrapped me up in his tail and licked my cheek. I stayed there for a while and we both fell asleep, cuddling each other. The bond between a dragon and his owner was strong, what started from hatred. Evolved into a beautiful trust, and loyal relationship.

im the storm chaser anon again Nikkiiii wdymmm ive been here since forever and have read everything in your master least at least once 😳 im just too shy to reveal myself but im sure you've come across me lurking in your blog. i was so excited to see that broken compass is in the same universe as the storm chaser series, i think i like it when stories are interwoven because well, life is a bit like that as well.

which brings me to something else, im currently reading the great Gatsby and i have to say that your writting reminds me of Fitzgerald's so so much, especially after you commented on the absence of dialogue from your fics(?) i noticed the same technique being used in the great Gatsby and was wondering whether you were inspired by him or not? i don't know, i find it intriguing, the omission of dialogue i mean, whether it's done on purpose or not i love it. it allows you to grasp the meaning behind words without having to deal with them which makes the story not only more interesting but also really unique in my eyes. you need dialogue in theatre or modern films but written text is something else entirely. while reading your fics, i can't help feeling that you explore and make the best use of aspects unique to written word, that's why i still believe that you're one of the best writters around here (and im saying this while having read almost everything you've recommended since i followed you 👀)

also the interwoven stories part reminds me of J.D. Salinger's short stories, sorry i said "which brings me to something else" and begun talking about something seemingly irrelevant, it's just that in my mind, Salinger's The Catcher in the Rye and The Great Gatsby resemble eachother a little and my brain skipped two "steps"

anyway, sorry i say a lot of things at once and remain silent for the next two months but im almost done i promise.

thank YOU for reading all my work! you're far too sweet to me. but yes, that's what i try to get at with some of my works where i don't focus on dialogue as much - there's so much more that's unsaid and i like the subtlety of it, yknow? i don't know - i don't think im inspired by fitzgerald - i'm familiar with his works, but because of where i'm from (former british colony, taught by brit teachers), i don't focus so much on american modern literature, more like - british victorian lit / shakespeare yknow? but but but i went to take a quick peek when you mentioned him...and yeah you're right! like this line from Gatsby - “So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.” oh gods, that style of writing just gave me chills. thank you for the rec - i'll HAVE to check it out.

i personally feel really bad whenever ppl tell me im one of the best writers around cos i feel like such a fraud - i think im decent but like...argh. i think a lot of us suffer from imposter syndrome LOL.

oh gods, love knows not its depth. idk what possessed me when i wrote it because it just...flowed and i knew after i wrote it that...it was real, yknow? i cld see shades of it in my mother, with my parents' marriage, potential shades of it in my own marriage (if either of us choose not to put in the work), so i guess...writing it was really reflective of real life too! i don't often know whether im writing kuroo right, and i'm glad you liked it cos he's so complex? there are so many facets to him - his cockiness, his maturity, his kindness, his ambition, and it's so easy to just write him as a smirking caricature, and i was afraid of that.
