Toshinori and Inko finding out their pregnant a year into marriage and just sitting staring at the test like...oh. This was not exactly in the plan...nor did they even think it was possible??
They tell Izuku first of course and when they do he actually thinks they're kidding! Haha! That's actually...pretty funny, guys...uhhh...why do you both look so serious.......oh, oh shit. OH. All Might and Mom are having a kid? He's going to be a brother? In his twenties??? HUH?
Cut to nine months later and Izuku's holding his little sister, Toshinori beside him, arm around his shoulder, as Inko watches on with love and pride, because their family feels even more complete than it was before.

AU where Shoto will theorize Dabi is anyone's family but his own.
"He's a Yaoyorozu, he's Yui Kodai's cousin, he's-" Dabi takes off hair dye "Bakugo's secret brother!"
1 - Shouto's special talent isn't only to be wrong every time he tries to guess who Dabi is related to but to somehow uncover a secret relative with everyone he accuses of being related to the raccoon.
2 - He is a Yaoyorozu relative? Yaoyorozu looks at the family to prove by A+B that it's not possible only to discover that Chisaki is probably a distant cousin.
3 - He is Kirishima's cousin? Kirishima points out that he can't be because his two moms are only child, only to stumble on some forgotten paper and to discover that Gigantomachia is his grand-uncle! Whoops!
4 - Bakugou's secret brother! It all makes sense! The spikey hair, the horrible temper, the hot quirk! Katsuki is furious, grabs his family tree and all the family albums... Only to discover that Muscular is his uncle. He eats all the photos proving it before Shouto can ever see them.
5 - Truly, Dabi's true identity eludes him. Shouto is so desperate that he dares to imagine something awful. That All MIght might not be Izuku's father. That Midoriya Hisashi is someone with a fire quirk... a fake identity... scars that make him hard to recognize...
Guess what Izuku discovered while he was searching for proof to bury Shouto's most recent theory. Take a wild guess.

I'm watching too much stuff. And things are not slowing down with all the things coming in September. So I'm gonna try and keep this short. As much as that's possible given the amount of shows.
QL - Currently Watching
🇹🇭 4 Minutes [6/8] - Finally some answers. I haven't read all the theories floating around about this last episode and what it means, but I'm firmly on the side of, there is another alternative timeline, probably from when Tyme is dying at the start of the show, and also very much in agreement with everything @lurkingshan wrote here that these are just imagined do-overs and nothing will actually change in the real world. Which would be my preferred way.
🇹🇭 Addicted Heroin [2/10] - Haven't watched this weeks episode yet. My review for the first two is here.
🇹🇼 First Note of Love [4/12] - I like them a lot. And I like the pacing of this. I love the intro song. But with a second couple being introduced I think I'm gonna get frustrated having to wait a week for a 20 minute episode. I felt that way a lot during Kiseki.
🇯🇵 I Hear the Sunspot [10/12] - I am annoyed.
🇹🇭 I Saw You In My Dream [7/12] - May the boyfriend era commence. I am enjoying this one. I'm guessing we still have a bit of angst coming and I'm hoping for a good explanation for the dreams.
🇯🇵 Mitsuya Sensei no Keikakutekina Ezuke [6/7] - Just such an incredible show. This week brought the pain and I'm still unwell. As if Frito getting sick wasn't heart breaking enough, that ending left me in tears. I cannot believe we only have one episode left. I am not ready to say goodbye to the three of them.
🇹🇭 Monster Next Door [6/12] - My favourite thing about this is definitely Big. His presence on screen is great. But I'm not fully connecting yet for some reason.
🇹🇭 Peaceful Property [1/10] - It's a lot of fun. Yeah, I know it's not a bl. But it's bl adjacent so it goes here. Also in my head it's gonna be a bl no matter what. Possibly even with a gl side couple. The mind is a powerful thing.
🇯🇵Sugar Dog Life [4/10] - I love Isumi. I really liked that they didn't drag the girl storyline and it served it's purpose. Isumi is now very much aware of it's feelings. I'm looking forward to the date episode.
🇯🇵 Takara No Vidro [9/11] - Takara, my love. This boy has my whole heart. I can't believe I'll have to say goodbye to then tomorrow. I'm bracing for part pain, part happy. Please Japan don't let me down.
🇹🇭 The Loyal Pin [1/16] - I'm waiting to binge.
🇹🇼 The On1y One [4/10] - This show will hurt and I will love every second of it. I really like the look of this show and how we get those little insights into Jiang at the end of the episode. The actors are doing great and I specially love Benjamin Tsang facial expressions. I'm curious to see these two together and how their dynamic will work considering their circumstances. Also, always happy to see the revolving door of cameos Taiwan always grace us with.
🇯🇵Twilight Out of Focus - It's so beautiful. I'm enjoying that we get different couples even if sometimes it feels like we could have more time with them. I like Rei/Shion a lot, but I do miss Mao and Hisashi. 🇹🇭 The Trainee [10/12] - Just to get it out if the way, the Bamhee/Judy storyline was definitely the right call and @lurkingshan was right all along. Also the way the office came together was delightful and it's great to see Pah getting everyone together and once again being the best friend ever. Now. THE OFFICE FLIRTING!!! I was losing my mind giggling like an idiot. I love them. It's pretty obvious at this point that it's mutual and of course Ryan will need to actually be told that, but I still think Jane will wait until the internship is over before confessing or starting anything official. I can't wait to watch all the interns reaction next week. I love it here.
QL - Finished
🇯🇵 Ayaka is in Love with Hiroko! - I'm disappointed in this one. It started off so strong but by the end it lost me. I love Hiroko but I feel like they betrayed the character. And that ending with the kiss in the office was ridiculous. Actually most of the end was weird in the way that it seemed to contradict what came before. I like that they finally got together but it didn't feel as good as it could've.
🇹🇭 Century of Love - Started of great and imo fell apart by the end. I don't think it was consistent all the way through and the mythology was all over the place. Daou did an amazing job though. Also Ju is one of the greatest female characters of the year.
🇯🇵 Cosmetic Playlover - Pretty show. Final thoughts here.
🇹🇭 Knock Knock, Boys! - Probably the biggest surprise of the year for me. It's great. I like the development of both couples. Even if near the end I got a tiny bit annoyed with Peak, I really liked the conclusion of it all. Latte is a great character and the very rare slut unjudged by the narrative.
🇹🇭🇨🇳 Meet You At the Blossom - Look it's great that we got a chinese bl, but this was not it for me. Let's hope this one helps get others made though.
🇹🇭Love Sea - It was fine. I enjoyed Mut but in general I just never connected to this show. And Muk annoyed me to no end. I was so happy to see Aya again and now I just wanna forget that she was ever in this and simply remember her as Yiwa.
🇹🇭 SunsetxVibes - I don't even have words. I don't know if it was my lack of attention or if it never actually made sense but I never really got what the mythology was all about apart from inspiring a truly horrendous looking necklace. I was slogging though this one and I guess the finale was fine.
🇹🇭 This Love Doesn't Have Long Beans - The sides were great, their chemistry was on point. I really wanna see them again. The mains were my favourite thing about Pit Babe but I just didn't like them here.
🇹🇭 The Rebound - I just have to accept that MeenPing will always have bad scripts. They are pretty together but this was a mess.
Dropped
🇹🇭My Love Mix-Up!

I feel like Horikoshi wrote the main plots to this epilogue before writing the actual story because so many of these moments are amazing and are exactly what I'd have wanted as a conclusion to this series
Themes/moments I like are:
Call back and new meaning to the whole "People are not born equal" intro
Uraraka being inspired by Toga and expanding quirk counselling
Kids moving away from wanting to be "heroes" and instead be people who just... are heroic
La Brava and Gentle owning a company together (and I see wedding rings!)
Hatsume being successful
Shoto no longer being called "Endeavor's son" and instead being a hero in his own right
Deku wanting to help people even without a quirk (that's how the whole series started, after all)
Deku encouraging someone that they can be a hero the same way All Might did for him
Bakugo making it so Deku can be a quirkless hero as opposed to his attitude towards him in middle school (can you say growth?)
Deku seeing Shigaraki's ghost(?) to show he never forgot him
The tragic part is that the buildup to some of these are so poorly written (or non-existent) that these otherwise wonderful conclusions feel... flat. They don't feel earned.
It feels like Horikoshi knew where he wanted to go but wasn't sure how to get there, so rather than write a path from one moment to another, the final war arc jumped from point to point, laid the bare minimum setup, and now little moments of this epilogue are built on a shaky foundation.
Overall thoughts: Great chapter in isolation if you imagine proper setup prior to this. But we didn't get that, and it is something the finale will have to deal with
Also where is Hisashi Midoriya???

head canon/ theories for who Hisashi is and role he'll play in the story
With DFO resting in the grave, I thought I'd give a few of my other theories I have come up with for Hisashi over the years.
He's the person the Deku narrating everything too. IDK why but for Some reason I always liked this theory. Although there no evidence that Deku is telling the story to anyone, I can't help but think it's neat.
He studies quirks, like that his job. Considering 80% of the world has a quirk I think it's fair to say there would be people studying them for many different reasons. I think he be this strange mash up of a doctor, scientist and academic. His job would make him travel around the world and study bizarre, amazing and dangerous quirks. It also be a great tie in stories wise to the quirk doomsday theory, if it turns out he was really away studying to see if that theory is actually true. (I also think that where Deku pick up his hobby for studying quirks as well) his job would make him have to be away from home for long period's of time and not easy to contact sometimes. Despite how interesting his job sounds, it actually involves a lot of paperwork and reviewing and research.
When he's home he's usually home for a good six months or more, and typically the three would do things together when he's home. Inko doesn't mind Hisashi job because he was doing it long before he met her and didn't want him to quit doing it just because they got together. And like most Japanese housewives she controls the finances he just makes the money that give them all comfortable lives.
I think he's a quite, charming guy who keeps to himself, unlike Izuku and Inko he's much more calm and never cries. He very much like's his life, he has no dreams or goal to become a hero or be out on some battle field. He's a passive guy who isn't big on violence, and see's the value in a ordinary life. I wouldn't think of him as a pushover, but like Izuku he's nice to everyone he meets. Also like Izuku he is the person you do not fuck with, he seems like a guy that vaguely feels like he's been through some stuff, it take a lot to get him mad but when he is, you run for the hills.
Izuku doesn't think of him much because he knows his dad doing just fine and is used to him going away on long trips. But also because as much as he hate to admit it, Izuku does not want to end up like his dad when he grows up. As much as he loves and respects Hisashi and think he's a good man with a stable job, he feared that if he grew up to be his dad then it's an admission to giving up on his hero dream, and just being content with ' an ordinary life'. Something he does not what to think about now that he had a real shot at being a hero. That being said, If Hisashi where to come home at anytime Izuku would absolutely be happy he's home and they go do something together.
Hisashi is the person who introduced heroes and heroics to Izuku, and arguably shaped how Izuku viewed them, and how Izuku would believe a hero would act. Hisashi like Izuku is an All Might fan, just not to Izuku level. Izuku only vaguely remembers, but Hisashi was the one installed a lot of values that is ingrained in to Izuku being, of being a good person. One of them being to never give up on saving a person and that everyone deserve a seconded chance. (I think he'll show up at some point in the flash backs that are happening)
His is neither supportive of Izuku hero dream nor is he dismissive, ultimately he just believes that Izuku life is his own and Izuku can do what he wants. Hisashi just there to provide Izuku with every possible pathway he can get, no matter how impossible they may seem.
He's AFO son, because can you imagine how hilarious that would be.

a fic by @aimportantdragoncollector
So I recently posted something about the Shigaraki twins, and Katydid responded with one of their own fics
and Y’ALL-
IT WAS SO GOOD
so I just wanted to draw some stuff for it
(if katydid/aimportantdragoncollector wants me to take this post down, I will gladly do so)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I love the contrasting but similar features
In the fic, it was mentioned how Hisashi/AFO’s eyes were green when his quirk wasn’t in use, and I thought this was one of those really interesting moments where you basically get to make eyes look so different with just pure designs/emotions
scene #1
”Yoichi grinned. He felt even more pleased that Kaiji had noticed the difference between him and his twin right away, before Yoichi had even given him a hint with the stolen scissors and villainous flirting.”
I like to think Kudou/Kaiji could tell from their eyes alone, I imagine their eyes contrast like this
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Both green, SURE, but look vastly different to Yoichi’s lovers <3 <3
scene #2
“Dr. Garaki snorted. “If you want me to tell the fool he’s too weak for any power, then I’ll mock up some tests. He doesn’t deserve anything from you.”
This time, Yoichi could not keep the shock from showing on his face.
He had not realized that Dr. Garaki scorned him behind his back. He’d thought they were friends. The doctor noticed. “My apologies, Master. I know how much you love him, useless though he may be. He doesn’t understand the extents to which you’ve gone to ensure his survival and comfort. You’re a good older brother for dragging around that deadweight.” He handed Yoichi the papers.
It was all Yoichi could do not to scream about how many times he’d uncovered information for his brother or kept Hisashi from making a boneheaded mistake out of arrogance / desire for a metapower.”
Tumblr media
This is what I imagine he looked like 😭
poor baby bean
That being said.. he got his happy ending at least :)
Tumblr media
Yoichi!! You look so good with those purple streaks 💜💜
so yeah- this was just an art dump from one fic lol, it was SO good

Cleaning Out The Refridgerator
Izuku never knew a life without his mother. It was always Inko and Izuku against the world. Izuku never once met his father Hisashi and he couldn’t bring himself to care.
Inko was everything Izuku needed and without her being at the forefront of his life, he’d never become the person he was. It was all thanks to his mother.
Inko died at the age of sixty. It was out of the blue and she had died of a heart attack. Izuku was only thirty-five. The day he got the call his mother had died was the worst day of his life.
His hero work kept him busy and he rarely got days off. Whenever Izuku managed to get the time, he’d always have dinner dates with his mother. It was clear Inko had appreciated those little moments together.
They’d cook together, catch up on life, and just cuddle for hours. They felt like the time they shared always slipped away and those moments felt so short even if they spent the whole day together.
Izuku and Katsuki got married at the young age of 20. They didn’t want to waste a moment and desired to experience all life had to offer.
When they were sixteen, they watched the other die. They knew how fragile and short life could be. Death was promised and they wanted to enjoy the life they had left.
Holidays and celebrations were always a grand event. Inko and Mitsuki would often hang out together, but having their family members join them for a party was an exhilarating experience. Every day, every moment, was lived to the fullest.
Izuku could say there was so much more he wished he could have experienced with his mother, but he was satisfied with the time he did have with his mother.
It didn’t make things any better, but having no regrets was something that made Izuku grieve his loss without any guilt laced with it. Izuku could miss the amazing woman Inko was and miss his perfect mother.
For months, Izuku was inconsolable. Katsuki did everything in his power to help Izuku through Inko’s death, but he couldn’t imagine the pain Izuku was going through. Katsuki loved Inko dearly, but he didn’t know what it was like to lose his mother. Katsuki didn’t even want to imagine a life without Mitsuki.
It was a random Friday when Mitsuki had invited Izuku over to have some tea and talk. It was nice to just talk to someone who cherished Inko just as much.
Mitsuki was crying, hugging Izuku. “I ran out of her pickled daikon radish! I don’t know what to do!”
Izuku paused, feeling something click in his mind. Even if Inko was no longer with him, there was something she did that no random person in the world could mimic. Inko’s cooking and baking were inimitable. The only person on the planet who could make Inko’s recipe was Izuku.
Izuku pulled back, his hands resting on Mitsuki’s shoulders. “I’ll make you some!”
Mitsuki’s eyes widen, blinking away her tears in surprise. “Really? You’d do that for me?”
“Yes, I’d love to make it for you,” reassured Izuku, his face filled with an excitement he hadn’t felt in a long time.
Mitsuki seemed to melt, relief flooding her. “Thank you, Izuku. I can’t wait to taste it!”
Izuku grinned, quickly hugging Mitsuki again. “You won’t be able to tell I made it, trust me.”
The next day rolled around and a beautiful Saturday greeted Izuku. Izuku threw himself up and took over the kitchen. The windows were opened and the morning breeze lulled Izuku into a peaceful rhythm.
The sunlight warmed his skin, matching the warmth his heart felt while making the same food Inko happily prepared him when he was a child.
Katsuki walked over and instantly spotted the mess. Shaking his head with a small smile, Katuski made his way over. Wrapping his arms around Izuku’s waist, Katsuki pressed a tender kiss to Izuku’s temple. “What are you getting into?”
“Just cleaning out the fridge,” fibbed Izuku, knowing Katsuki wasn’t going to buy it.
“Sure and I’m not your husband,” remarked Katsuki, giving Izuku a gentle squeeze.
Izuku sat down the knife before turning around to hug Katsuki. “I’m making some pickled radish for your mother.”
Katsuki paused before a look of recognition crossed his face. “She’s probably over the moon knowing you can keep supplying her addiction. She’s obsessed with Inko’s pickled food for as long as I remember.”
“Yeah, I can’t believe I was so depressed I forgot that I can remake all the foods my mom made by heart,” chuckled Izuku, snuggling into Katsuki’s secure hold.
“Anything I can do to help?” questioned Katsuki, knowing the answer was going to be no, but he wanted to check anyway.
Izuku shook his head before pecking Katsuki on the lips. “Nope. This is quick and easy to make.”
Katsuki nodded before releasing Izuku. “I’ll leave you to it.”
Within thirty minutes, Katsuki heard a loud thumping in the kitchen. Rushing out, Katsuki watched as Izuku jumped in place, filled with excitement as he was chewing. Katsuki sank in relief upon witnessing the childlike joy written in Izuku’s expression and bouncing.
Izuku spotted Katsuki staring and quickly shoved the pickled radish into Katsuki’s mouth. Katsuki immediately could tell why Izuku was so excited. The crunchy yellow radish tasted exactly like the kind he had eaten his entire life. It was identical to Inko’s.
Izuku knew that if he kept making food that tasted identical to his mother’s, he’d never stop eating. If food was how he planned to keep his mother alive, he’d happily eat each meal like it would be his last.
“Good job, Izuku. It’s perfect,” complimented Katsuki, diving in for more.
“It’s so wonderful,” cried Izuku, following his husband's lead and eating more.
Inko may be gone, but for the rest of Izuku’s life, he’d never have to live a day without her beautiful, one-of-a-kind meals. Inko showed her love through food and Izuku would forever be grateful that homemade meals will forever be their thing. Even after death.

Fights, haircut and basketball - Imagine Mitsui Hisashi
Hello guys! So I decided to bring my SD imagines to this blog. They were originally written in Portuguese, and I used AI to do the most part of translation and revised it after to do some corrections and adaptations. So this is the very first one I wrote for SD, in 2016, for my favorite character, Mitsui Hisashi. My writing style is in third person, not second person. I hope you all like it!
Posted on Spirit Fanfictions, Wattpad and Nyah!Fanfiction (all Portuguese version) Word count: 3.6k Warnings: fem!reader, mention of gang fights, a bit of cursing, angst Cover by @ezrealsicons
Tumblr media
Synopsis: Mitsui and [Name] were unseparable friends. But when their feelings became something more than just friendship, everthing caved in. With the Mitsui's injurey and his subsequent withdrawal from basketball, his personality began to be dominated by resentment and anger. The boy started to despise everything related to the sport, including [Name]. However, two years later, a fight and and old dream would finally make him remember how important she was for him.
“You did what!?"
[Name] looked at Mitsui with wide, horrified eyes. The boy had shown up at her mother's beauty salon that late afternoon without warning, his face covered in bruises and dried blood. The girl had quickly pulled him to the back of the establishment so he wouldn't draw attention in case a client arrive. The last thing she wanted was for Mitsui's problems to spill over into her mother's business. Now they were talking in the break room, which was fortunately empty.
The boy still had the same intimidating appearance that [Name] had seen the last time they met. The face that had once been marked by the features of adolescence was now almost entirely covered by his blackish-blue hair that cascaded down to his shoulders. His navy-blue eyes, once so bright and full of energy, were now dark and heavy. And to top it off, [Name] couldn’t even remember the last time she had seen Mitsui smile.
Faced with his friend's accusatory question, the senior kept his head down and his hands buried in his pockets. The shame he had felt earlier, in front of the man who had given him the determination to win the regional championship, now seemed to weigh ten tons on his broad shoulders. He could endure the accusing looks from everyone, even from Kogure and Akagi, but from [Name]...
"Hey! Answer me, Hisashi!"
He hunched his shoulders even more. It was hard enough to confess what he had done, let alone repeat it. Besides, didn’t [Name] already have enough reasons to despise him?
"I decided to get revenge on Miyagi... I wanted to do it by disqualifying Shohoku from the Nationals through a fight. If the rumor that the players were involved in a gang fight at their own school spread, they would surely be banned from the championship. So I gathered the judo team members and asked for help from a friend of mine, Tetsu-"
Mitsui didn’t get a chance to finish. A sharp, resounding slap stung his already bruised face, causing him to stagger back two steps. His hands instinctively covered the spot where he had been hit, and his navy-blue eyes rose in shock to meet the girl in front of him.
"Are you serious!?" she shouted angrily. "Didn’t I tell you to never speak to me again? And you, not only you disrespect that, but you also come and tell me something like this!?"
The high schooler lowered his gaze again and returned to his previous dejected posture.
[Name] had been his friend for years, and they had met because of basketball. She always played on the neighborhood’s public court, and it was there that he saw her for the first time. He clearly remembered being captivated by how she smiled while playing, and that made him interested in the game. He really wanted to experience the joy that made that girl seem so happy.
Mitsui then asked [Name] to introduce him to basketball. Reluctantly at first, the girl agreed to be his tutor. She taught him everything she could, from basic movements to the tricks of faking and three-point shots, which were her pride and joy. It was on that quaint basketball court that their friendship flourished.
Over the years, Mitsui and [Name] became inseparable, and their friendship began to take on new dimensions. However, neither of them had the courage to make a move, as neither was sure of their own feelings.
And that’s when everything caved in.
After Mitsui’s accident and his subsequent withdrawal from basketball, his personality started to be consumed by resentment and anger. The boy began to despise everything related to the sport, including [Name].
One day, the girl invited him to watch a street basketball game that was going to take place on the same court where they had first met. With disdain, he laughed in [Name]’s face and said he had better things to do.
"I'm not going to waste any more time with stupid things like basketball," he said with a mocking smile.
The girl looked at him in horror, unable to believe that those words had come out of Mitsui's mouth.
“What!?” she shouted, shocked.
“That’s exactly what you heard,” he spat. “I’m not wasting another second on basketball.”
And without giving [Name] a chance to ask any more questions, he spun on his heels and walked away.
After this episode, the high schooler began getting more involved with gangs and street fights, and the chasm that had formed between him and [Name] grew ever wider. Finally, one incident in particular completely ruined their friendship.
Angry after the beating they took from Mitsui’s gang, some troublemakers from Kainan High investigated Mitsui’s connections and discovered [Name]. After obtaining her address, they observed her routine for a few days. After a week, they ambushed her as she was heading home in the late afternoon. Meanwhile, one of them was tasked with delivering the message to Mitsui.
As soon as he found out, the boy was overcomed with an intense feeling of guilt and rage. He never imagined he would end up involving his friend in his fights, let alone as a hostage. Blinded by anger, he ran without hesitation to the agreed location, making a decision along the way: he would distance himself from gangs once and for all so that she would never be at risk because of him again.
When he finally reached them, he realized the true extent of the trap he had fallen into. [Name] was at the back of the alley, held by two burly high schoolers with contemptuous expressions. As soon as they spotted Mitsui, the other gang members blocked both exits of the alley, giving the boy no chance to escape.
“I knew he would come,” their leader sneered. “Let the girl go. We’ve got what we wanted.”
A momentary sense of relief washed over the student, and he searched for [Name] with his eyes. The girl was rubbing her forearms, marked by the strong grip of the thugs, and as soon as she processed that she was free, she looked for Mitsui among the figures present. When her eyes locked on his face, distorted by a mask of conflicting emotions, she marched toward him with determined steps, tears welling up in the corners of her eyes.
How? How had it come to this? How had he let something like this happen? And to her, of all people!?
Everyone turned to look at the slender back of the girl, who was walking forward with clenched fists. As soon as her childhood friend's face was within reach, she raised her right fist and delivered a solid punch to his left cheek.
"Bastard!" she shouted, tears streaming down her cheeks. "How did you get to this point? When did you stoop so low as to drag me into these stupid fights!?"
Mitsui kept his face turned away, his dark blue eyes vacant and empty from the shock.
"Never again..." she said through gritted teeth. "Never speak to me again."
Those words from [Name] hurt more than any punch or kick he'd ever taken in a fight. They hurt more than his knee injury. They hurt more than giving up basketball.
Even when he had given up on everything, she hadn’t. She believed that one day, the bitterness from what had happened in his first year would fade, and Mitsui's passion for basketball would resurface. And even as he sank deeper and deeper, she tried to support him, tending to his wounds so that he wouldn’t have to hear so much from his parents.
And he had simply dismissed all of it.
That day, the beating he took after being insulted and humiliated by the Kainan thugs didn’t compare to the pain of losing [Name] completely. He had deluded himself into thinking she would stand by him despite the stupid mistakes he’d been making. What else would he lose?
Since then, [Name] had never spoken to him again, and Mitsui had no choice but to respect her decision. In her absence, he continued to get involved in more and more trouble and fights, and the little hope hidden in his heart of returning to basketball disappeared completely.
However, the incident in Shohoku’s gym that day awakened old memories of basketball for Mitsui. The feeling of sinking the ball with a simple flick of the wrist, the euphoria filling his chest as he drove past opponents toward the basket... Remembering all of this, Hisashi Mitsui finally realized just how much he missed basketball and, most of all, how much he missed the person who had brought that wonderful sport into his life.
God! How he wanted to play basketball again! How he wanted to play with [Name] and see her smile in that unique and captivating way...
It was because of all this that he swallowed his pride and ran to see the girl he had dismissed out of pure arrogance and selfishness. He had to make things right. He would never forgive himself if he didn’t try.
Mitsui lifted his melancholic dark eyes to [Name] and took a deep breath.
"I know what I did was unforgivable. I really was a selfish idiot, only thinking about my whim of becoming Shohoku’s ace... and it ruined everything." He squeezed his eyes shut tightly and then reopened them, this time with a determined look. "But I need to tell you something."
The girl straightened where she stood and crossed her arms. Her eyes shifted to the floor, filled with pain and anger. She wanted so badly to believe Mitsui’s words. She wanted so badly for him to have truly recognized his mistakes and turned things around... But what he had done wasn't that simple.
With a furrowed brow, she bit her lip and lowered her head.
"I'm going back to playing basketball," Mitsui blurted out, as if the words were forcing their way out of his mouth. "I don’t want to keep pretending that I don’t want to."
[Name]'s eyes widened, and she immediately locked them onto her friend’s face.
"I know it might be a little late since I’m in my third year. But I still want to make the most of the time I have left in high school. I’m going to...
The sentence weighed heavily on his tongue, and he had to press his lips together to prevent the words from spilling out awkwardly. He wanted to show [Name] that this was once again his dream.
Taking a deep breath, he closed his eyes, then opened them to look at his friend with a crease of determination on his forehead.
"I'm going to help Shohoku conquer Japan."
[Name]’s lips parted in a small “o,” but not in horror or anger, but rather in surprise. Before her eyes, she finally recognized the determined expression of the Mitsui she had known on the court in their old neighborhood. The boy she had taught to play basketball, who had become much more than just a good friend, was once again standing in front of her.
"Hisashi..." she murmured, her eyes widening further.
Mitsui straightened his shoulders, pulling his hands out of his pockets. He raised a hand to his neck and scratched it, looking down at the floor as shyness took over his gaze.
"So... [Name]-chan... I’m really sorry. I didn’t mean to say or do all those stupid things to you. I know it’s not something that can be fixed with just an apology... But today, I really need you."
As soon as the last sentence left Mitsui’s lips, both felt a rush of heat rising to their faces. [Name] averted her eyes to the floor and began rubbing her fingers together with her thumb. The teenager scratched his neck even more quickly and continued:
"It’s-it’s just..." He blinked and, with great effort, looked back at the girl standing in front of him. "Since you helped me take the first step in basketball, I want you to do it again. I want you to help me take the first step back into basketball."
[Name] shifted her weight to her left leg and looked at her friend with a mix of insecurity and suppressed hope. She wanted so much to say yes. She had dreamed so many times of this moment—the moment when Mitsui would tell her that he was going back to basketball, returning to being the boy who had won her admiration in such a simple, genuine way...
But [Name] was fully aware that Mitsui's mistake was almost unforgivable, and she wasn’t going to let him think it would be easy to make everything right.
"I'm not going to play basketball with you, Hisashi," she said in the sternest voice she could muster.
The high schooler flinched as if he'd been punched in the gut. My God! How those words hurt. [Name]’s disdain was worse than any beating he had ever taken. But he deserved it; after all, he had also treated her with disdain... and in the worst possible way.
"I know," he said sadly. "But I need something only you can do."
[Name] furrowed her brows and waited. Mitsui raised his left hand until his fingers reached a lock of his dark hair.
"Could you... cut my hair?" He paused, trying not to stumble over his words, and laughed nervously. "Don’t worry. I’ll pay."
[Name]’s eyes widened so much that Mitsui thought they might pop out of their sockets.
Since girls tended to do this more often, she knew the significance of a haircut at a moment like this. Mitsui really wanted to change and wanted to leave a physical reminder of his new goal: to conquer Japan wearing Shohoku’s jersey.
After a few seconds, [Name] lowered her head and, turning on her heels, said, "Come here."
Surprised that he hadn’t received a harsh response from the girl, Mitsui promptly followed her with an astonished expression. She led him to the bathroom used by the staff and opened a cabinet containing a stack of white, fluffy towels. Grabbing one, she pushed it against the broad chest of the teenager and said, "Wipe off that blood so you don’t scare the other customers. When you’re done, go to the salon. I’ll be waiting there."
Mitsui nodded promptly and quickly cleaned himself up. When his face finally lost the most alarming signs of the fight, he folded the towel, leaving it in a corner, and headed to where [Name] was waiting. The girl was already dressed in a smock, with a cape draped over the same arm holding a pair of scissors.
"Have a seat," she said, her face wearing an indecipherable neutral expression.
Mitsui obeyed and sat down. [Name] adjusted the chair’s height and looked into the mirror to meet the boy’s blue eyes reflected there.
"So, what will it be?" she asked, running her fingers through the teenager's overgrown hair. Her touch sent involuntary shivers down Mitsui’s spine, and a slight blush spread across his cheeks.
"Ahm..." he muttered, glancing at the countertop cluttered with beauty tools. "You can cut it all off."
"All of it!?" she replied, her expression once again showing shock.
"Yeah. I mean, really short. It’s more comfortable for playing..."
The girl ran her fingers through Mitsui’s hair once more, taking a few measurements, and nodded.
"I’ll cut it little by little, and you can tell me if it’s okay, alright?"
"Uh-huh," he murmured, trying to stay still as he heard the first snips of the scissors cutting through his hair.
[Name] worked in silence, avoiding Mitsui’s deep blue eyes whenever she checked the cut in the mirror. However, it was impossible for her not to notice his features as the long hair stopped covering his face. Now that the black curtain had disappeared, [Name] could finally see the changes puberty had brought to her friend’s face. His jawline had become well-defined, but in a gentle way. Dark circles under his eyes marked the edges of his cheeks, which were covered in bruises and scratches, yet this detail still gave him a certain maturity. His straight nose had the same effect. His thick, black eyebrows perfectly crowned his pair of navy blue eyes, which had always captivated [Name] in a way she would never admit. Now they were much more visible, and this pleased her deeply.
In the end, Mitsui’s new haircut suited him very well, giving his face a more playful and determined look.
Yes... This was the Mitsui she had known.
"So?" she asked after making the final touch on the left side. "What do you think?"
He turned his head from side to side to see the new hairstyle from different angles and then smiled, satisfied. [Name] went to the counter and grabbed a square mirror so Mitsui could check the back of his hair too.
"Oh!" he said, smiling even more. "It really looks good! Thank you so much, [Name]-chan!"
While the teenager admired his friend’s work, [Name] couldn’t help but notice his features again. Mitsui had turned out much more handsome than she had anticipated.
Realizing this, her cheeks involuntarily heated up, and she lowered her face, afraid he would see her embarrassed expression.
"You’re welcome," she murmured, moving to the counter to put away the mirror and the brush she had used to remove the excess hair.
As soon as she removed the cape that had covered him, he stood up and quickly reached into his pocket, pulling out some green bills.
"How much do I owe you?" he asked, checking the amount he had.
[Name] had her back to him, organizing the counter and sweeping some leftover hair onto the floor. She bit her lip at Mitsui’s question, and the phrase he had said earlier echoed in her mind:
"I know. But I need something only you can do."
"Could you... cut my hair?"
Now that she could finally see Mitsui's eyes without his long black hair in the way, she was certain that he wasn’t just talking for the sake of it. She recognized his stubborn determination in the navy blue of his eyes. The haircut was his way of telling himself that he wanted to, and would, become who he once was. If she charged him for it, Mitsui's request would lose all its meaning.
"Nothing," she said, reaching out for the broom that was leaning nearby. "It's on me."
"But...!" he blinked, stunned as he stared at the back of her head. "I said I’d pay!"
"Shut up and accept it, idiot," she replied, too afraid to turn around and meet his eyes.
A whirlwind of emotions tore through her chest. Her head was spinning with confusion. She wanted so badly to celebrate this, to support him at his games, and to train with him... But at the same time, she couldn’t forget what he had done. And that stopped her from showing what she truly felt.
The teenager remained silent for a few moments before saying, "[Name]-chan... Please, let me pay for the haircut. I'll feel really bad i—"
"I already told you it’s on me!" she exclaimed too loudly as she turned her body and began sweeping with her eyes fixed on the floor. She walked past Mitsui and bumped into his shoulder hard. "I’m done here. You can go."
Mitsui didn’t move. His eyes went blank, staring into nothing as he digested [Name]'s harsh words. He had known from the start that he wouldn’t win her trust right away, but that didn’t lessen the weight of being treated like this by her.
However, even though she was clearly resentful, [Name] had granted his request. And if she didn’t charge for the service... it meant that, deep down, she wanted to do it for him and was happy that he had come back.
A slight smile curved Mitsui's lips as he realized this, and he quietly approached [Name] until he stood just behind her.
"[Name]-chan," he called, letting the gratitude he felt fill her name.
Hearing his voice so close, [Name] tensed up, feeling her cheeks flush once more. Trying to sound as harsh as possible, she turned sharply and growled, "Hisashi, I already told you to—"
But she couldn’t finish the sentence. As soon as she turned around, a soft, warm touch on her left cheek silenced her instantly. Mitsui was leaning in, his hand gently resting on her left shoulder as his lips placed a very sweet kiss on her blushing face.
The touch lasted only a few seconds, but it was enough to make all the hairs on [Name]'s body stand on end. Internally, she wished Mitsui’s touch had lasted a little longer. Pulling back slightly, he whispered, "Thank you."
He then straightened up, running his hand through his hair in a slightly awkward manner.
"Well, I’ll be going. See you later, [Name]-chan."
He turned on his heels and headed toward the exit of the salon. The girl remained frozen, staring at the back of her childhood friend. She hated herself for being so affected by his gesture, and even more for knowing that deep down, she really wanted Mitsui back... for herself.
Maybe it wasn’t the right time for them to reconnect, but they could start, right?
She went back to sweeping, and just as he stopped to open the door, she raised her voice: “Hey, idiot.”
Startled, the teenager turned his torso enough to look at [Name] with a questioning expression. “If you don’t make Shohoku rise to the top of Japan, I swear I’ll beat you to death".
Mitsui's eyes widened, and gradually, a smile replaced his shocked expression. He chuckled quietly as he remembered the countless times he had said he would conquer the nation. There was no turning back. This time, he had to succeed.
Widening his smile even further, he looked at [Name] defiantly and said, “I’m on it.”

Crack au where everything is the same but Tsukauchi, Yagi, Hisashi, and Inko are all married
They’ve been married before Izuku was born and honestly this just means that Izuku has 3 dads and a mom. He’s going to learn so much out-of-pocket things and so much things about the criminal justice system and heroics. It’s great.
Izuku is going to learn about heroics, police work, the law, and finance. He’s going to learn so much and he’s going to be such a bean.
This also means that Bakugou is going to go and know immediately that Yagi is All Might. Yeah it’s supposed to be a secret but Kacchan is Izuku’s best friend! They can both keep a secret.
Naturally, this leads to Bakugou now doubling down on becoming Number 1 with the added bonus of his second dream being to beat up the Number 1 Hero
Other things include:
-Izuku and Melissa Shield meeting each other because of Yagi taking him to visit David and the two of them becoming best friends almost immediately. It’s great and from then on they regularly video call each other and Izuku always comes to Yagi’s visits to David
-Good parents Hisashi, Inko, Naomasa, and Toshinori that’s important. That’s very important.
-Bakugou constantly talking shit about All Might and saying that he’s an average hero. He eats dinner with the Midoriya family every day.
-Actually just go and take all of Bakugou’s energy on bullying Midoriya and put that on Yagi. Bakugou’s new target is to take the spot of Izuku’s Hero Dad and make sure that he fucking retires early because Bakugou. That old man better watch his back because every time that man stops Bakugou is getting closer.
-Sir Nighteye being that weird uncle that you kind of just have around. He gets better but for a while Izuku and Katsuki told him that his vibes are terrible and to get out of their house
-Gran Torino being that Grandpa that would go and let you do all the irresponsible shit. He keeps the kids safe but boy oh boy there has been several instances of a heart attack
-Midoriya Inko being a kid of All For One, a result of a One-Night Stand. She cut contact with him a while ago don’t worry. She would go and rip out one of his glands with her Quirk if he ever contacts her again
-Now please imagine All For One finding out that the All Might, the Detective that helped All Might, and the the most Average Man in exsitance all are married to his Daughter.
-Shinsou Hitoshi also being a kid of All For One, this time on purpose. Don’t worry he runs away and meets Tsukauchi. In fact you can read a fic about it here. (Many Kudos to Mod Boreal and their Writing.)
-Izuku still getting One For All not because of the fact he’s All For One’s Grand Kid but because he display qualities of being truly heroic. He wants to be a hero and wants to save as many people as he can, no matter the cost
-No one in the class knowing who Izuku’s dads are and thinking it’s just Inko
-Naturally, Katsuki’s goes and spreads rumors that Izuku’s dads are in America for “work”. Izuku is screaming inside because that actually is correct. Hisashi is in America for work but not Naomasa and Toshinori!
-Izuku says this but he starts calling Toshinori “dad” whenever he can. The man coughs up blood every time Izuku says it
-In the corner, Todoroki Shouto starts making conspiracy theory boards.

What if All For One… KILLED HISASHI…
Tumblr media
Or something. Idk lol I’m just jokingly (?) thinking about this and how it could go. See below… hehehe
Ok, so, I thought I read somewhere that Hisashi was an architect doing work abroad in America but I can’t find anything about his true career online, so I’m assuming that part is unknown. But I’m going to use that as a preface for this.
1.)AFO met Hisashi bc maybe Hisashi’s career somehow involved Koga Construction or whatever. Perhaps Hisashi worked in the company long before Izuku was conceived, maybe AFO could have introduced him and Inko to each other? Imagine he purposely chose both of them for this plan. Then Hisashi and Inko fall in love and get married. Phase one complete.
2.) Kill Hisashi because— shit idk man maybe someone with more brainpower than me can come up with something. Maybe he gave Hisashi a Quirk without mr midoriya knowing or made a deal with him, perhaps before Hisashi and Inko conceived Izuku and thus Izuku became AFO’s own experiment (I have seen a theory where AFO possibly wanted to see if one of his own Quirks could be genetically passed down) aside from Tenko and he wanted to monitor it from afar. But Hisashi found out about AFO’s schemes or something, and AFO had no choice but to wipe the floor with mr mans.
3.) takes over or imitates Hisashi’s identity (BTW WE DID FIND OUT THAT AFO COULD ALTER HIS APPEARANCE [but haven’t seen the true extent of it]) to get closer to the Midoriya family and support them + implement the theory where Dr Garaki purposely misdiagnosed Izuku as per AFO’s orders.
4.) ????
5.) profit
So yeah! Again I’m not serious about this LMFAO but I’d totes be down to read ppls thoughts :) A few days ago I was thinking about how there’s just SO MUCH EVIDENCE pointing to how AFO is possibly either Izuku’s father, or at the very least had influence over the Midoriya family’s lives… but I was also thinking “what if Horikoshi pulls the rug under us; Hisashi really is just some guy but All For One DID have something to do with the Midoriyas’ lives” and then I thought about how AFO killed off Nana’s husband… like damn mf is just a father killer LOOOOLLLL
Hisashi: damn you are not a good person, I’m calling the cops.
Afo: can’t help being a bad bitch *kills him*

Can you ducking IMAGINE the angst of an AU where Izuku is a biotic so he has no Quirk?
Like imagine they figured out pretty fast Biotic=Quirkless and as such pregnant women are HEAVILY discouraged from going into Space or working with Eezo. Some do but not many. Humans would value Quirks over biotics after all.
Now imagine you're Kaidan Alenko, one of the first really known human biotics and you're in the Alliance. One day you get a call from cousin Inko in Japan. She's crying.
“Izuku is Quirkless.” she says. “They found evidence of biotic potential. Hisashi has left me.”
Left her because he blames her for being unaware she was pregnant and exposing their son.
Kaidan gets leave to go and see his cousins. His mom is already there, acting as support for Inko as she struggles. She loves her son she keeps saying. It's her fault. She shouldn't have gone on the ship.
It sets a tone for the relationship of Izuku and Inko for years. She's so guilty and so ashamed while also being unable to look at him for Hisashi’s abandonment. Kaidan keeps in touch through calls and messages. He goes back every leave to see them.
Izuku still wants to be a hero. He's got biotics! He can do it. There's no law against it.
(Kaidan, the man born in Jump Zero standing over the body of an abuser, the man who had people leave him, the man who has to hear sneers of L2 implant, who gambles each day between having a headache and death, roots for his little cousin)
But it's still hard. Inko is blamed by everyone. Pity is given to Izuku, the poor child who could have been amazing, while scorn heads at Inko. Inko who shakes and shivers and is so upset.
Then she dies. So does Shepard.
Kaidan who loved a woman more firey then he'll goes on bereavement leave to raise his little cousin. To teach him what he needs to know and to help him. It's therapy for both of them and Kaidan having to readjust to Earth after so long of ‘no that Quirk will fuck with the engines dont use it’ and the lack of casual power usage.
It's a different Kaidan who goes to Horizon when Izuku is at the UA dorms. But it's a stronger one.

Imagine being Midoriya Hisashi and finding out your quirkless son is an uber powerful hero by seeing him fight to the death on the morning news.

I like that everyone sees Afo in their own way. Someone thinks that he understood, family is what Afo always wanted and decided to leave the evil empire. Someone thinks that he knows little about feelings, but wanted to be loved, so this led to the creation of a family, but in the end he left her due to the fact that she prevented him from becoming the “demon king” as his love for his wife and son began to grow. Someone believes that an event simply happened in the Midoriya family because of which Afo left, perhaps he couldn’t stand the fact that All Might had taken over his life and when Izuku wanted to play heroes in the All Might costume, he accidentally got a slap in the face, so Hisashi left so as not to harm the family. I have already asked this question to others. I want to hear your version)😊
Tumblr media Tumblr media
AFO is the kind of character that will always have a huge range of interpretations to him. Just because of how dishonest he is in nature we can never truly know his feelings or true intentions. So we can only piece what his actions say and the few thoughts he has.
I note how you are mentioning a lot of DFO so I'm assuming you want my opinion on that too? Because as you know I'm a big fan so will be super happy to give you my interpretation on AFO especially in relation to that.
When it comes to AFO, I always imagined him with no empathy even as a child. This is NOT a born evil thing or anything as just having a lack of empathy doesn't mean you are automatically evil. As there are ways to teach people like that how to get along and have Logical empathy, basically a skill where you can logic out how said people can feel which he clearly learned later in life. But I digress. Basically because of his lack of empathy growing up in a survival of the most violent era would shape his personality. It honestly more a miracle that despite doing anything to survive he kept Yoichi around. Likely Yoichi agrees with this as in the end Yoichi was not benefitting AFO as he had to provide for two while Yoichi couldn't do anything.
Just this fact shows that AFO didn't really care that Yoichi didn't provide any actual benefits. This throws a point that he can be 'caring' to those he deems as company he enjoys. However his lack of empathy makes it so he always ignores Yoichi's input especially after struggling to survive for so long with never being cared for or loved. Without any idea of love or affection in his background, is it any surprise all he equated this illogical attachment too is just not wanting to lose his possession? His first gift? Especially as it been shown he is very envious of everyone having thing that he never had. Like a home, cars, and that includes a happy family. The last one he ends up losing after basically throwing his little brother in a vault for being unruly then seeing red when he leaves with the rebels. Accidentally killing his brother.
All this fact is important as we see he never process or got over losing his brother. Pursuing OFA just for his brothers vestige but likely after over a 100 years he got lonely. Desperate but he would never be honest or claim such a thing, but would allow a 'family' to occur to try and fill the void in his own heart.
I do not believe AFO would hurt his own son directly. Even in a rage after what happened to Yoichi, likely if he realized was becoming blinded by anger that would be a signal for him to leave. As likely he wouldn't be able to live with the idea of murdering his only family again because of rage. BUT making the excuse it because was holding them back.
However, I don't believe that's why he left. I legit imagined he kept up his double life for a long ass time almost shamelessly. Acting like a normal man using the fact he says he 'works over seas' as an excuse to not be around often. While still enjoying the benefits of a family whenever he does come by to visit, hell he was still kidnapping kids you see Tomura and Touya up till Izuku's birth.
And with his lack of empathy sees nothing wrong with a double life as long as he keeps the normal family happy and content. Then they would remain his family forever.
....Then during one of those visits All Might found him. It implied AFO was caught off guard which is what gave All Might the edge likely because AFO was trying to pretend to be a normal guy. But after getting caught was forced to fight and likely was trying to evacuate, only to get his head smashed in and technically killed.
Without his face there was no reasonable explanation he could give that would allow him to see his family. I imagine the quirks to 'change' appearance still required there to be a FACE to be changed. And that is what he's referring too when he claims AFO stole something precious from him. He stole his family away just like Kudou did, hence his hatred being quite strong.
Any interaction with the family likely is by email, mail and with checks just so they are alive. But he can't talk or interact with them at all in the state he is in. Still believing they are his but unable to interact with them like he used to with his face utterly destroyed. Hence his small pestering about being fixed likely was not actually meant in playful jest and something he hounded the doctor several times about.
He left his family not because he wanted too, because he NEVER gives up what he believes is his, but because he was forced too. Unless wished to get another Detroit smash to the face by showing he's alive or reveal to his family his actual job and get them running away like Yoichi.
So basically I see him as a man who lives a double life, an actual legit monster and yet also casually a normal man with said family. What would cause dissonance in others he saw no issue with since his family are his while other people are only useful or not. Until was suddenly crippled and could no longer have the joy of family he had craved, becoming more submerged in his hatred of All Might. Because while didn't care about such a tiny part of his empire falling.
His family is something he will destroy the earth and even the family itself if he must to keep them safe and at his side. And that's how I enjoy him to be in my interpretation.

Hear me out, AFO in the recent chapter talks about Kudo and how he killed his entire family, women, children, anyone who was a blood relative and even friends. He massacred anyone who even interacted with Kudo. Then you have Nana Shimura, which it’s confirmed that AFO was the one who killed her husband and her family, which is why she desperately sent her son away. Yet even after that AFO still toyed with them and created Tomura.
It’s safe to assume AFO has a pattern and killed or tortured everyone close to the users, third, fourth, fifth even sixth. (Prob in his mind cuz they took Yoichi away, so he can take their families away too).
Then you have Izuku. The weakest user (in the beginning) and he had a lot of chances to kill him. I mean MULTIPLE CHANCES to kill him or even Inko. Inko is defenceless, weak and she’s living her daily life without care. It would have definitely destroyed Izuku. Why didn’t he? Especially when he’s done it before? Didn’t he say he wanted to make Izuku angry which is why he toyed with bakugo? Why not kill his mom? If hisashi was some random dude, why not kill him in America or smthin? It makes no sense? ¬_¬
THIS! THIS IS WHY DAD FOR ONE EXIST STILL.
As it makes absolutely no sense that Izuku despite being the newest user never once has his family targeted. Like Inko wasn't even offered any protection and yet never once did AFO ever attack her. It isn't like he can't get the information out of Aoyama. Just be friendly and pass on who the mom is.
He hurts Bakugou to make him mad yet never ONCE harmed his actual family member. Anyone he 'harmed' that was close to Izuku seemed to be specifically those he despises personally.
This man RUINED and DESTROYED the lives as well as happiness of every precious OFA user. Nana tried to have a happy family and life yet it was taken away. Her husband god damn murdered leaving her a single mom and forcing her to give up her kid. Destroyed EVERY connection that Kudou had and it a clear pattern.
But sure, he just never pondered even once using a TEENAGE BOY's mother. A giant ass target and could have been used as a reasoning for why Toshinori thought himself the only capable user. As he had no family or loved ones to target besides Nana another user. Imagine poor Izuku, hell the only reason Toshi wanted a successor was because he THOUGHT All for One was dead.
He likely was constantly afraid of something like that happening once learned that evil man is alive and not six feet under.
So please Horikoshi why the hell did you make Inko prominent yet also never had her being targeted? If the dad just some random dude why isn't he dead or killed? We need these questions answered because other wise this man 'evil' is VERY inconsistent.

Hi just want to say I love your theories especially the President of USA is actually AFO's disguise or rather Hisashi real AFO's disguise in America that I remembered something from chapter 422 where we saw the president again. I found it interesting as I remember before the heroes of America were prohibited from intervening in the war going on Japan because they were busy with their own villains aka AFO's friends. Stars and Striped just broke that rule and went to Japan anyway. Funny how now that a certain green haired kid is fighting AFO is when the president changes his mind and sends the heroes of America to fight in Japan but only after seeing its Izuku who's fighting. I mean could be a coincidence maybe they already dealt with their own situation in America and only then decided to assist Japan but I don't think the manga ever showed that situation in America being solved. But then the president looked absolutely panicked in that panel and Inko was shown in the same panel. What do you think?
First, thanks for your kind words. I love this kind of theorys, even if they dont turn out true in the end. Its so fun to speculate what could happen. I have no idea why so many people react so deeply insultet as soon as people talk about dfo or other theorys. Its not a big deal. We are just having fun.
About the theory if the us president is afo aka hisashi in disguise. Its a fun thought and when @lurking96 @psychomurderz and I came up with it, we were for the most part just joking. I swear if it turns out true I will eventually die of laughter! 🤣 Just imagine, right now most of the readers believe dfo is debunked because "afo doesnt love izuku" (as if all parents on this planet actually care about their children, there are enough who dont) and because he seems dead for good, but then in the last few chapters hori gives some subtle hints or even confirms that hisashi is afo and on top the president of the united states. The fandom would explode! 🤣
Fact is, afo has the ability to change his appearance, to change his dna, can have any quirk he wants, said himself he never leaves traces that could lead back to him, did hide in america for many years, is pretty popular in america as well and whos best buddy is a mad doctor/scientist with the ability to dublicate every quirk and also was in the possession of a clone quirk. So I think, people believing that afo couldnt have a clone (no matter if hisashi is the real afo or not) is kinda dumb. Hori hyped hisashi up to be someone of importance in interviews and refuses to talk about him because of "to big of a spoiler" and I dont think he was lying. Dfo is debunked when the last chapter comes out and its to 100% confirmed there is no connection between afo and hisashi not sooner or later, so I dont get why so many dfo fans have given up already.
And yes, I too think that its weird how the us president was at first against his own heroes helping japan out with afo, but as soon as he sees izuku fighting he orders all heroes to go to japan to help and when this one guy pointed out "but what if afo wins and we are the next target?" And the president SCREAMS "I dont *fucking* care!" On the same page inko is on! I mean HELLO?! Of course it could be just an coincidence. But why was the president at first against it and was like "sorry, guys but my heroes have enough to do with our own villains. You are on your own" but as soon as he sees izuku he is like "screw that! Send EVERY SINGLE american hero to japan to help that boy! I dont fucking care what meanwhile happens to the country Im responsible for!" Yeah, weird reaction.
It was pointed out that afo has his hands and influence in every single country. Has "friends" all around the world in the governments. If afo similar to garaki had a clone of himself there is no way afo wouldnt try to take control of the most powerful nation of the world. Im still positive about dfo and I dont care what any anti says. Dfo is debunked when the manga is finished and hisashi really is just some other dude of no importance what already contradicts what hori said about him! Remember, how hori used hagakure as a red herring for the traitor reveal and readers were like "I KNEW IT!", just for aoyama confirmed to be the true traitor. Hori had no qualms to put red herrings in his story just to come with a twist in the end. Seems like a lot of readers still havent learned their lesson!

Alright, the plot bunnies have started digging, let’s ramble and see what happens!
Background Thought: Rather than having Red Fountain, Cloud Tower, and Alfea, let’s still have U.A., or for this “Unity Academy”. Like, the other three schools still exist, are still chugging along, but they have very specific specifications. U.A. is, while still highly prestigious, working on ALL kinds of skills. Much like canon, where they have courses for Heroes, Business and Supports, they have courses for Specialists, Witches AND Faeries. Their student body isn’t as big as the other three schools, but their students are better all-rounders, and usually more adaptable. Nezu is Headmaster, and regularly has tea with Griffin, Faragonda, and (Red Fountain Headmaster, I forgot his name???). Or, somewhat alternatively, U.A. is still a High School, while Red Fountain, Alfea, and Cloud Tower are more like college, or University, and U.A. exists to help the kids pick what kind of specialization they want. (K, most of the rest of this will be under the assumption we’re going with option two).
(Also note, Regular Winx Stuff may have, or similar shit already happened, so we don’t have the Dragon Flame, or anything like that. Bloom and her friends are off vibing elsewhere, doing other shit)
Izuku - K, let’s keep Dad for One. Izuku is AfO’s son, but got yeeted to Earth during the “Final Battle” between him and All Might. AfO is captured, and locked away, but not before there is much devastation and pain. He swears to return, and seek “his heir”. All Might, meanwhile, rather than suffering an injury that inhibits his use of One for All, is cursed by AfO, so that his magic will slowly drain away, making it harder and harder to enter his magic form, until he can’t enter that form at all. If he does not find a cure, the curse will eventually kill him.
Izuku is found by Inko and Hisashi Midoriya, who adopt him. He is raised on earth, where he is friends with Katsuki Bakugou. Unlike canon, where Izuku is shunned for being Quirkless and the two pitted against each other, Izuku is seen as weird for thinking magic and stuff is real, and Katsuki acts as an exasperated protector, thinking Izuku should really “grow up”, but the two are otherwise friends-ish. (there’s also some stuff that happened when they were kiddos that Katsuki is kind of suppressing, but shhhhhh!)
The two one day run into All Might, who’s fighting some minions of the LoV, and All Might has to protect them, which runs out his “time limit”. Katsuki and Izuku both jump in to protect him, and together generate a massive magic wave that knocks the minions away. All Might is shocked, for magic is supposed to be extinct on Earth (although, it’s happened before *looks at Bloom*) and goes with the kids to speak with their parents. While Katsuki’s are totally flummoxed, Inko admits that Izuku is adopted (something that she has NOT mentioned until now). All Might posits that Izuku is Magixae, and that exposure to his burgeoning magic caused Katsuki’s to awaken. After a lot of discussion, All Might convinces the parents to let Katsuki and Izuku attend U.A., where they can learn about their abilities. They are enrolled in the “General Studies” Course under Aizawa, a first year course to help students figure out what their specializations will be.
Katsuki’s Suppressed Memory: (So, I imagine, somewhere, there are Good!Hisashi’s we can talk about. Not here.) I’d have part of Katsuki’s character arc (besides figuring out she’s a girl and all that other stuff), is that she seems to have difficulty controlling her magic. It seems to always be big blasts, massive explosions, instant kill shots. Like, she has issues trying to solve problems without resorting to the most immediate (and often lethal) option, which gets reflected in her magic. And the reason would be an incident she’s repressing - killing Hisashi Midoriya. Now, it wasn’t her fault, really. And honestly, when she does finally remember, no one blames her. But Katsuki’s first foray into magic was trying to defend Izuku from his old man. Like, I’m imagining Hisashi got drunk, tried to go after kiddo Izuku. And Katsuki, over to visit her friend, tries to get between them. She gets hurt. Izuku’s magic tries to respond, but he’s so concerned for Katsuki, it responds by trying to heal her. This in turn wakes Katsuki’s magic, which responds by BLOWING UP THE ENTIRE APARTMENT. When people come to investigate, Katsuki and Izuku are miraculously ok. No one else in the building even got singed. Hisashi, they have to identify by his teeth, which are the biggest parts of him they can find. Izuku’s memories of the incident are all kinds of jumbled, but he remembers a big explosion that didn’t touch him, so he believes it was magical. Meanwhile, Katsuki’s brain decides “nope, we aint thinking about this”, and hides the memory away entirely.
(Note: it doesn’t necessarily have to be THIS, but I like the idea that Katsuki’s actually used magic before, to defend Izuku, but the event was so traumatic, she suppressed it, and has no recollection of the event, but it still influences her. So, she doesn’t believe in magic [magic, in fact, freaks her out at first, even if she can’t explain why], but is wildly protective of Izuku [I left you alone once and you almost DIED], while at the same time see’s herself as awful and a monster [Jesus, I killed someone].)
-I don’t think I’d have Izuku inherit One for All (which wouldn’t exist?) but maybe have him share his magic core with All Might? Like, they both have a wildly rare magical core? And maybe have All Might’s curse be, like, blood related, so it has to be lifted by a blood relative of AfO? Not sure
-the LoV could still be a thing. They’ve got some kind of “magic mirror” that’s connected to whatever prison dimension AfO’s in, and are working to free him. Garaki is raising Tomura, who they all THINK is AfO’s kid, because he has the same kind of (also uber rare) magical core as him. AfO can’t really sense anything in his magic prison, so is taking their word for it, until he sees Izuku and goes “Huh. I wonder?”
-Okay, we are going to be NICE to Oboro here. He was NOT nabbed to become Kurogiri. Kurogiri is still around, maybe even connected to Oboro in some way (I’m half thinking some kind of “stolen shadow”, “created doppelgänger” situation), but Oboro himself is fine. He lives with his husbands, Mic and Aizawa, and teaches a course on … idk, Magic Core Connection? Maybe he’s the flight instructor.
- Aizawa took courses at both Red Fountain and Alfea upon graduating U.A., which was seen as weird at the time, but it has made Aizawa far more versatile. Aizawa’s magic has always been a bit limited, so working with weapons made sense. His magic specialty is nullification, curse-breaking, spell reversal, and the like. He CAN do other magic, but in most cases, it is honestly faster to just do the thing himself.
- Himiko’s family is a long line of powerful witches, who specialize in Blood Magic, and curses. Himiko, while also good at this, actually vibes far better with Fairy magic (for her, this means healing, I guess?), and is worried what her parents will think if she manifests a Fairy form (regardless of ability, no one in her family has manifested a Fairy form in almost six generations).
- Kirishima and Tetsutetsu are Dominian, adopted in the wake of the fall of Domino. They had never really met another Dominian until they run into each other at U.A.
- Iida comes from a long line of Specialists, but has some wind-based magic he’s struggling to master.
- Tokoyami is ABSOLUTELY a witch, you can pry that out of my cold dead hands. If Eimi’s here, she’s also a witch.
-Todoroki’s thing, besides the fire/ice, I’d have it be duelling between Fairy & Witch magic. Like, his mom’s a witch, his dad’s a fairy, Todoroki can kind of use both witch and fairy magic at the same time, he’s struggling with that.
- Nezu is either just a magical species that LOOK more animalistic, or we’re borrowing from the MHA Monster-verse, where he’s a Familiar that has since become his own being.
Thats all I got right now, what’s everybody else think?

OKAY THOUGHTS
1.) So what I’m thinking re: the school is that like within my winx reboot, I had Bloom and Co. start working on combining Faerie, Witch and Specialist tactics (for those who could use Magic at least). While they’re far from the first to do so, it did lead to the creation of UA as a school for them to kinda mix and match in like elective courses. I’m debating about keeping it a high school or bumping it up to college. Really it doesn’t matter in the long run.
2.) Love keeping the DfO thing and yeah All Might being under some curse works! Technically works with Canon-esque Winx!
3.) Yeah that tracks just. Guess we have a baby now!
4.) Everyone just looking between Izuku and Inko like ‘the FUCK do you mean he’s adopted!?’. But yeah it tracks for there being Magic on Earth even though it’s supposed to be dormant because 1.) *gestures to Bloom’s nonsense* and 2.) idk if I mentioned it in my winx reboot posts, but until the cast knows about what actually happened with Bloom they just assume her parents were from somewhere else and were just on Earth for like a vacation or something and somehow she got separated from them. So it’s totally plausible!
5.) OH OOF. First off rip to Hizashi because we never let him be good we should do that one of these times! But I kinda like this! I may like. I might have it not be full on killing him but def causing some ‘hospital immediately’ kinda damage so even if she didn’t kill someone the fact that she /could’ve/ and that she doesn’t entirely regret what she did fucks her up. Which yeah Katsuki is swinging between both ‘oh magic might be real because there’s no explanation for what happened’ and ‘mm let’s not think about that!!’.
6.) Yeah I’m not sure what OfA could be in this case. Nothing really fits.
7.) The idea of them thinking Tenko is Tomura/Izuku is fucking hilarious to me I love it. Like maybe they assumed All Might found the kid and entrusted the boy to Nana’s kids for safekeeping. This does bring be back to the same problem I had in the Monster AU which is the age difference between the two because they’re 5 years apart(I never did decide tbh). I could either drop Shigaraki down to Izuku’s age or split their ages to 18-ish.
8.) being nice to Oboro for once! But yeah if we have Kurogiri still exist then he’s some fuckery made of Oboro that they like. Maybe eventually merge back?
9.) Oh yeah like. Honestly I need to go on a deep dive re: winx’s magic system and how people’s specialties and leanings and so on and so forth manifest. Because yeah everyone has their own theming so while there’s some universal spells one can do, a lot of stuff is also like specifically made by them? Like anyone can do a basic ‘summon item’ but some kind of attack blast would look different like Bloom’s looking like a flamethrower while Tecna is more futuristic laser beams and both have themed names. But yeah give Aizawa a specialty in nullification and reversals!
10.) Honestly I was thinking more the reverse since witches can get a bad reputation and tbh on the whole they’re more interested in morbid things like Himiko is.
11.) Lmao my dragon boys again!
12.) Iida being good with the technical combat stuff but bad with Magic is fantastic to me
13.) First off love that these two get #13 on the list but also hell yes witches!
14.) Pausing for a moment to imagine Enji in the sparkly fuckin booty shorts that Winx is known for. ANYWAY!! Going through the Todorokis again I think re: how fucked up the family is I think that like. Given the lack of a Hero System things won’t be /as/ bad for them. Some things are still fucky but not as much.
15.) No one knows what Nezu is and it concerns everyone but he’s not giving any answers.
