I wonder what would it be like if WWX was the one raising Jin Ling. Would he still turn out to be the Jin Ling we all know and love or will he be different? or what WWX if didn't die the first time and hide away somewhere picking up stray and abused baby and raise them as his own? In my personal HCs he's actually a good guardian despite joking around. What your thought?

I think there would definitely be differences but not so much bc JL was loved and would have been loved just the same albeit in different expressions and forms (bet WWX and JC). And I def agree with you that WWX is a good guardian in a way - not the practical way nope (as evidenced with him burying a-yuan in the soul to make him “grow”) but more on how to make a child be emotionally strong bc he has that kind of wisdom.

   Spectre approached the hot dog stand and immediately, Yusaku - who had been sitting at the fold-out table and working on some homework - looked up and glared. Similarly, from behind the counter, Kusanagi turned staunch. However, ultimately, Spectre sighed and whilst there wasn’t cowardice or the effect of intimidation in his demeanor, he did turn small. 

   “I’m not here to start anything,” Spectre said, “in fact, I’m here to order a drink, thank you.”

   “Sure, what can I get you?” Kusanagi asked.

   “What do you have? Do you have any teas?” Spectre asked.

   “No, sorry but we have a fine selection of different sodas.” Kusanagi said. “Or coffee.”

   “I’m not in the mood for coffee. And lemonade is fine.” Spectre said.

   “Easy.” Kusanagi said and he took out a disposable cup.

   He scooped a haphazard amount of ice into it and then picked out a nozzle from beneath him. He squirted it into the cup and then sealed it off. He handed it over to Spectre.

   “Eh, it can be on the house.” Kusanagi said.

   “No, I insist. How much do I owe you?” Spectre argued.

   “No, it’s fine. Because I know you’re not here for just drinks.” Kusanagi said.

   Spectre glanced over his shoulder and Yusaku looked away. He had been staring, it seemed.

   “Yes, you’re quite right but I thought it rude to use an establishment’s space without paying for something.” Spectre said.

   “You can come and sit, if you like.” Yusaku said, awkward.

   Spectre’s lips twitched and he pardoned himself. He sat down with Yusaku on one of the flimsy chairs. Spectre put his hands on the table and took a breath.

   “I’m here to apologise.” Spectre said.

   “You are?” Yusaku sounded surprised.

   “Yes. I got into an argument with Ryoken-sama and now, i’m here to... clear my head, I suppose.” Spectre sounded genuinely distraught and his hands turned tense. “I’ve never gotten into an argument with Ryoken-sama before and I very much dislike it but... but it was important I stood my ground.”

   “What does this have to do with me?” Yusaku asked.

   “It has everything to do with you.” Spectre snapped and he turned sour upon having been snippish. He sighed. “I have been thinking about what you said, during our duel... Nearly dying has changed me. I think you might be right. Perhaps the Incident was objectively bad. What happened to us was wrong. But the past cannot be changed and I won’t lie, I don’t want it to change. But we can change the future, we can change our views and... and my Ignis is dead.”

   Yusaku swallowed. He was surprised by upset Spectre was. He was shedding tears; real and genuine tears which streaked down his face despite his better attempts at remaining composed.

   “I want to meet my Ignis. I want to be his friend. But Ryoken-sama remains firm. The Ignis are to be destroyed. I - I ought to feel joy over the fact my Ignis is dead but I can’t, I can’t bring myself to be happy when it feels like a part of my soul has been destroyed. A-And so, I want to apologise. For the cruel things I’ve said and done. I know words mean little if I can’t change and I know, I know once Ryoken-sama and I have both cooled our heads, I doubt much will change between us. I will continue serving as his second-in-command and we will continue his pursuit of the destruction of the Ignis but I want you to at least know this.” Spectre rambled.

   “I forgive you.” Yusaku said.

   Spectre stiffened. In the background, even Kusanagi was surprised and from his home in Yusaku’s Duel Disc, Ai was surprised as well.

   “I don’t know if that makes us friends, but I forgive you.” Yusaku said. “And I hope that we can do something, bring Earth back to us. Back to you.”

   “You mean it?” gasped Spectre, his eyes sparkling with sincerity.

   “Yes. I mean it. You’re not the only one who wants Earth back. Ai and the others do too.” Yusaku assured Spectre.

   “Thank you, Yusaku.” Spectre said and he smiled so serene. “Earth...” His voice was light, an entranced murmur. “Is his name Earth? My Ignis?”

   Yusaku shifted so that Ai could get into the conversation better. “Yeah, his name is Earth.”

   Spectre leaned in, excitedly like a child, “Can you tell me more about Earth, Ignis?”

   Ai leaned away from Spectre and made a funny expression at Yusaku who scolded him with a glare alone.

   “Er, yeah... I ca tell you more about my buddy Earth, I guess.” Ai replied, hesitant.

   “Thank you so much.” Spectre said and he glanced back to Yusaku, so thankful.

It’s okay!! WWX gets to have a very happy ending and LWJ definitely spoils him a lot! <3 And had WWX been alive after the siege of burial mount well hmmm that presents a lot of possibilities depending on what route you want to take but there’s no way he’s not going to be living lowkey in the shadows.

What if Wen Rouhan is in love with Wei Wuxian's father Wei Changse? would he try to get to WWX in the Sunshot campaign? Maybe that why he let Wen Chao order the destruction of Lotus pier because he's bitter JFM get to be WCS friend and manage to get to WWX first instead of him.

WRH and JFM never even interacted in the novel so even more with WCZ hahahaha He let WC destroy Lotus Pier bc of the XuanWu incident. Or wait are we doing an au here?? jkafakfbafb

I watched a comic where WWX in tear when LWJ save him after the Bloodbath of Nightless City. what do you would happen if WWX has actually listened to LWJ but was too emotional and physically weak to answer him?

Technically, he was too emotionally and physically weak at that time though? haha But either way, I think the Yiling Patriarch’s “fall” after the death of JYL was inevitable. LWJ was an outsider even in WWX’s eyes back then so the whole romance thing would never have “helped” bc LWJ and anything concerning him was out of WWX’s mind.

I remember readed a fic where Shiro propose to Keith already but a miison when wrong and Keith was in coma for a while but after he woke up and sometime later he walk in on Shiro kissing someone that he say look like Adam.
