One of the things I really like about the questline of Lost Ark, is where some of the Arks are hidden. They’re in the continents that you wouldn’t expect, places where even the people who live there are like “there’s no way an Ark could be here”. Arthetine, a “cold land of cold machines”, has an Ark. Shushire, the frozen country terrorized by Vrad and where people are barely scraping by. Feiton, where the earth itself is tainted by Thaemine’s darkness and Delains live because other places won’t accept them. Even Tortoyk, home to the tiniest of creatures, was trusted by Nineveh to hide an Ark. 

Idk I just really like the idea that, everybody is a part of the affairs of their world even if they don’t know it, or even if others tell them they’re not worthy (looking at you, Sacria). That no place has truly been abandoned, and has a light worth protecting. Everyone matters. It’s a really nice sentiment.

PSA: To all the men out there(and future me)

When you finally find a woman who is willing to love you and put up with you through all the stupid shit we tend to do, make her feel wonderful. Make her feel useful. Special. Worth it. Don't just buy her things and think that'll make everything better. Be an ACTIVE participant in her life. While you out there grinding and achieving your goals, push her forward in her goals. Pick up the kids once in a while, cook her dinner, clean the house. Being a wife and mother is a full time job, shoulder some of that responsibility. It's a partnership, 50/50. I've seen too many women with useless men that I know for a damn fact my lady will be taken care of spiritually, mentally and financially.

Recently I left a lover, whom I realized, didn't treat me the way I should have been treated. In short he would always have some remark regarding the makeup I wear, accused me of giving him std's, refusing to get checked out. But making it all seem as if I owed him something more. And the biggest part was this exchange lasted for about 8 months with zero intention to make me his girl, but every expectation for me to treat him like my man. I cooked for him and really tried to remain available to see him whenever, but it wasn't reciprocal. Things fizzled out with no closing statements. So in short, I am still very much seeking closure. And I want him to know how shitty he made me feel. But the likelihood of this happening is next to null.
