I really like the idea of soulmates in the JJK world. They're rare, but the reason why they're so coveted is because they are the only person in the world who is immune to their soulmate's cursed technique. 

Being Gojo's soulmate would be like hitting the jackpot, at first. You're a regular person, with no cursed energy. Maybe you and Satoru's hands bump into each other while you're at a cafe, grabbing your respective drinks. To you, it's just an accident. You apologize, make your way out. 

To him, it's like submerging himself into an ice bath. For the first time in years, someone had gotten past his limitless technique. It was so unexpected, and real, and so warm.

Your hands were warm. 

It's the thrill of it that gets him first. The unexpected. No one's ever come close to him. He is the summit of the mountain. The strongest. And yet, there you were, effortlessly able to bypass his barriers without even trying. With women, with Geto, he'd always have to turn his technique off. He'd have to let them do something to him. You could do anything to him, and his powers wouldn't even stop you. You could kick him, punch him, bite him. Anything you wanted, and for once, he'd be powerless to stop you.

He can't detect you with his six eyes. It makes the hunt even better when he catches up to you. It's days of stalking and harassment and the touching that finally makes you snap and slap him. 

It hurts. 

It hurts and he fucking loves it. 

He already made up his mind days ago, but this only cemented it. When he finally takes you home, to his bed, it's euphoric. You scratch and bite and scream and hurt him over and over again. Hours later, when you've passed out from sheer exhaustion, he has more bruises than you do. They'll fade eventually, but that's okay. 

You could always make more.

heres a summary of what i think happeend in hw2:

ruin and hw2 go hand in hand. cassie woke the mimic virus up by getting chipped/freeing the mimic (gregory literally says in ruin "now its free") and it caused a domino effect.

ggy is shown in the achievements, so SW is telling us they remember him. weve also never seen GGY get freed from the glitchtrap virus at all like vanessa has. so possibly, pre sb ggy became dormant somehow and has been under wraps/inactive in between sb and ruin. aka when 3 star fam is happening.

so hes been wholly himself since sb. but cassie waking up the virus causes ggy to wake up in gregory, since it was never even gone in the first place.

in candy cadets story with his strange analogies, he basically says that a young woman grows up and with new age and courage, goes to get revenge on a witch that kindapped her who gave her scars for the rest of her life. she meets a young boy at the mouth of the forest who offers her friendship and directions and she takes them. she follows him to a small house and says shes tired and will get revenge on the witch in the morning. its then said that the 'oven door closes' on her.

basically implying that possibly vanessa went to 'get revenge'(reactivate mxes post ruin) but ggy was back. and he 'betrayed' her by leading her to the oven and getting her glitchtrapped again. so vanny is back.

and theres that whole can of worms with cassie maybe being glitchtrapped too and also the vanny claw machine where she crushes glitchtrap. all i can think of with that is that vanny is deviating somehow.

but yeah this is the narritave ive created so far. lmk what you think :)

The Breakdown

YIKES. Well that was uncomfortable to watch.

So basically there’s this alien race, the Ligonians, cast as all-black-noble-savages, adorned with what feels like a stereotypical depiction of a middle eastern/Asian aesthetic, if it had been designed in the 1930's by someone who had only read about “the mysteries of the orient” in pulp magazines.  the Ligonians all live by a code of honor so bafflingly convoluted that the Klingons seem downright reasonable by way of comparison. This code also promotes kidnapping because it's so risky that it can be deemed honourable... somehow.

So the King (Lutan) kindaps Tasha because he’s horny and wants to make her his number one babe, which obviously his wife takes issue with.  Naturally, the Queen demands a fight to the death with Tasha, because that’s the contrived way their society works.  I wish I could say that’s as ridiculous as things get, but somehow the episode continues to get weirder as it goes right up until the end.

The Verdict

I’m not going to waste time explaining why so much of this episode is in poor taste, since it’s shittiness is both obvious, and fully acknowledged by the cast and crew. Honestly, it’s hard to imagine this wouldn’t have raised some eyebrows even in 1987, but then I guess it must have since the director was fired by Gene Roddenberry himself. Even disregarding the in-your-face racism, this episode is filled with lazy writing and contrivances that would make it difficult to enjoy on any level. I’d read about this episode years ago, but had forgotten the specifics. Needless to say ‘code of honor’ is indeed dog shit, and also a valuable reminder why representation matters in front of AND behind the camera.

Oh yeah! At one point Troi essentially resorts to victim blaming when she more-than-implies that Tasha “totally loved the attention”.  Holy shit.

Data tries to learn about jokes: Laforge is the last person who should be teaching anyone about humour. His example of “what IS funny” is somehow even dumber than Data’s attempt. Also, Data has slip of the tongue? Shouldn’t he be incapable of that type of error?

Picard’s an asshole: “Is the whole ship deaf!?” Well EXCUSE ME captain, it’s just that every time Wesley even looks at the bridge you nearly bite his head off, so yeah, inviting him to hang out at Ops is kind of a shock. Jesus Christ dude, get laid or something.

I think it's possible El shaves her head voluntarily. We all associate that look with Brenner, but if El is trying to reawaken her powers, it makes sense that she would imitate the things she knows helped wake them the first time. Monitoring her brain waves, using the sensory tank, maybe other things we haven't seen. It also makes sense that she might push herself too far and lose control. She has done that at least once (with the Demogorgon in s1) and maybe twice (the massacre at the lab).

It's possible El believes mimicking prior experiences will activate her powers : the sensory deprivation tank , shaving her head,etc . She's essentially doing the opposite of Hopper's advice. She's metaphorically trying to "turn back the clock".

A few movies have a character emotionally breakdown and cut their hair. That could be in reference to El. :(

My guess is ...you are probably right. And so I may go back to my original theory I said a few months back .

So ...I think owens tries to help her get her abilities back , and is successfull in doing so. Then, Sullivan probably attacks said base - and El escapes . And she maybe hitchikes like she did in s2- trying to get back to Hawkins . But in the end is recaptured by Brenner who is working at Pennhurst mental hospital (in a neighboring town to Hawkins).

Mkultra was historically run by psychiatrists. And the show and even the st prequel novel imply Brenner is a psychiatrist. And lucas in s1 made a joke about El being from "pennhurst mental asylum ". So it means something...

Not to mention hellraiser 2 was on the s4 inspo list : which literally has an evil psychiatrist trying to expl*t kids' abilities to open a portal to another world. And doing secret experiements in the hospital's basement (unbeknownst to other staff members). And a different hospital worker,once learning of this, helps one girl escape (maybe peter "taking a stand' ) .

Another movie said to inspire s4 , is also, elmsteeet dream warriors: psych hospital, kids trapped there against their will - includes a character named William (who is into d&d and is a wizard), and superpowered gymnist Kristen (chrissy?) . Need to mention hellraiser 2 the main character , trapped at psych hospital was kirsty (again possibly another chrissy ref). Kirsty/Kristen even have ab*sive mothers - like chrissy allegedly does.

Heck, look at the the will comic. Will threw a book called "house of stairs". Book about gay kid in love with his childhood bff, being kindaped by gov psychiatrist, for experiments. To become assa*ns for government. He even Befriends girl with buzzcut. And the 2 assist eachther to escape/surv*ve .

So I do think it's possible Brenner may restart his program at the mental hospital. Given how the real mkultra sometimes operated in psych facilities.

So by the end of s4 : Will, El, and maybe even Chrissy (if her death was faked) are possibly in Brenner's clutches.

But ,we will see.

I honestly can't remember when they are called lizard people; where do you recall them being mentioned to be lizards? The only reptile like people I remember from the game are the dragons themselves: Agarthans claim to be the original human kind is my extent of knowledge to the difference between them and the humans we see in game (Agarthans calling the ones in-game recognized as humans as 'Beasts' and 'Worms')

Sothis was in-game a space dragon, who (unspecifically) created her children from her blood, tried to work with the original people of the land (Agarthans) to make a great society, only for the Agarthans to believe they have equal power to the space dragon and warred against their benefactors, only to lose and go into hiding (implied for Agarthans to suffer heavy losses, not directly stated).

Gets a bit murky here, with the exact differences between Agarthans and Humans*, but they consider each other different species by the time Agarthans came up to incite a bandit into killing the Nabateans Mother and Idol in her sleep and take her blood and body for his own power. Later does this again with some of her most powerful children, genociding everyone except five of them. Seiros, one of the last children of Sothis, later makes a religion out of the remaining living Nabateans and her Mother, after giving aid to a King then slaughtering the forces of errant humans and some of their Agarthan allies (unknown total losses taken by Agarthans, though some were lost. Presumed entirety of the errant humans killed, including the bandit and his 11 main allies.)

Then it moves to the timeline of Three Houses/Three Hopes.

Honestly I think two of the biggest controversy leaders in the games are racist in their own ways, and lots of either blatant or implied racism is in the game. While the base game tries to make the Nabateans relatable, it takes until Hopes for the games to dig into the fact that the outer nations commonly warring with them are also human. And no such humanization for Agarthans.

Yeah the original post was about the Nabateans, which is why I said the Lizard people part is from an innocent place, it's obviously a take on "Tiki! But evil" (though... the series has had Evil Dragons before so really the real change of pace is, if we consider a E//delgard a viable "good guy" then the real change of pace is there aren't any "good" dragons)

The Agarthans, once again, do ruin everything about Three Houses story and morals which is.... and ARE conducting some sort of weird blood experiment on kindapped children which is.

God so many "secret shadowy society stories" have their routes in the Protocols of the Elders of Zion it's almost impossible to avoid if you're not doing your research. I would say Edelgard's big "this is why we're going to war" speech sets off more red flags for me personally, but I'm not Jewish so what the fuck do I know.

And again I'm not accusing anyone of being antisemetic I just think it's important to look at this stuff and say "hey, which positions kinda reinforce stereotypes and patterns of thought that have been used against Jewish people?" because it is DISTRESSINGLY common and under-discussed

Ok I know this may sound like a kinda weird and crack pairing but I like this ship and I think every ship needs and deserves love so here I go...

Headcannon #1 Yut fell for eiji when he kindapped him actually he was low-key implying than he should be with him instead of Ash.

Headcannon #2 :After Ash's dead Yut lung begins to buy eiji's photos with various alias.

Headcannon #3 :Both Ash and Yut were aware of each other attraction towards Eiji but none of them can figure their own feelings until is to late.(death , shoot)

Headcannon #4 :Eiji wanted to braid yut's hair because it was pretty and it reminded him of his little sister.(but mostly because is pretty)

Headcannon #5: Yut lung constantly worried about Eiji when he was mourning so he made and habit about asking sing for him.

Headcannon #6: When Yut lung died Eiji cried and asked Ash to forgive him and look out for him a little...

Alternative Universes.

Childhood friend Au. Yut lung and his mother escape to Japan when he is little so he get's his best friend Eiji oni-chan later he developed a crush on him.

Ash is yut's rival on love either he lives in Japan with Griffin or the whole banana fish plot happens.

Shorter and sing are both shippers aheiji and yuteiji respectively.

When Akira and Ibe meet Yut lung they both through he was eiji's girlfriend.

Role reversal Au. Yut lung tries to stop banana fish forever (following more or less the events of cannon) and meets Eiji who he falls in love with and Ash is the antagonist mafia boss after killing golzine (yeah! Pretty bad for Ash but I have never seen him as a villain so I think it could be interesting)

After garden of light AU: they become friends and with time partners and lovers it can be either totally happy ending with sunshine and rainbows or with Yut lung's dead and eiji deciding to keep living and not mourning because it would make Yut sad,he still mourns but in a healthier way being mostly happy than he could love so much to two wonderful persons in life.

Soulmate Au: Eiji's soulmate hates him so he search counseling from his bff and his boyfriend (Aka Aslan and shorter) ironically Yut lung thinks Ash is Eiji's soulmate the whole time.
