I used to think that when something new I posted only got a few hundred reads I was failing. I wasn’t working well enough. My writing wasn’t enough. But that just isn’t true.

The numbers you see online don’t ever seem to be enough but why? That’s so not true. There are tens/hundreds/thousands of people who want to hear you. Who hang on every single word you say and would beg to hear more. Online it feels lonely. You can’t see any reactions to your hard work.

But, could you imagine all your readers in one room? So many people in a room, eager to listen to what you have to say. Captivated by what you have to say.

You are so fucking important. Your words ring through ears. Your words fill hearts and make emotional tears run down faces. Never stop talking because we can’t wait to hear what you have to say next.

It’s been very hard for me to post lately. I don’t want to face you are gone. Each and every moment lately I feel I am crumbling. I want to hear your laugh so badly it’s crushing. I just wanted to share with you all a very magical moment. Maybe the most magical of my entire existence. I am a very spiritual person, and I believe nothing happens by chance. Nothing is a coincidence. Today I received my daddy’s ashes in two beautiful necklaces. As I cried my eyes out opening them I saw my dad’s name, birthdate and death date printed in the box they came in. As I read it, the phone rang and Brandon told me to rush outside. There was a HUGE butterfly migration directly over our house! MILLIONS OF BUTTERFLIES! Swarming around our house and all over our neighborhood. My mom and I had just been talking and when she picked up our necklaces and his beautiful ashes there was a butterfly watercolor painting above them with candles burning. I believe in Magic, I believe my dad is looking over me, and I believe he truly is with me. This has been the most horrific experience of my life, but I also know he would want me to go on and today really made me realize that spirit is all around us, loved ones don’t leave us, they just move on when their souls purpose has written it’s book on earth and it’s time to go home. I’m crying as I write this. I love you Dad. Thank you for the most beautiful moment of my life today. It was such a bold move on your part and overwhelmingly apparent it was YOU today. I forever will be grateful you are my Dad, whether I can physically see you or not. I feel you with me and now I get to wear you next to my heart forever.
