I usually don't care that we get those giant ULINE catalogs because it wastes the money of a shitty family to print and ship them. However, I did not consider the weight of those bricks in the bag of our postal carrier. I think I'll call to cancel because we get two shipping to our house. I'll save the postal carriers back a little bit.

#also watched him get yelled at by a mean lady in our neighborhood for barely parking at the edge of her driveway #kids were being picked up from school so there was no one where else to park #and the lady had to drive to track him down so clearly getting out of her driveway was not a problem #after she left he quoted some kind of postal regulation about how it's unlawful to obstruct the postal service #but he did it in a really formal way that ivolved the world sovereign #and we cheerer because our postal carrier is a nice guy

great little run with zombie and slash today as sigurd heads into his last week of vet mandated rest, road was rough riding and the dogs were even jumping over the potholes which i found pretty funny.

#also #on Sunday a guy in a ski mask walked around my driveway to avoid our security camera #pushed the security camera out of the way to obscure the view #and then proceeded to open our unfortunately unlocked truck #and sit in it for about 2 minutes while looking through our stuff and then getting out of the truck and carefully closing the door #before walking off #and I didn’t realize that this happened until today because I checked our camera feed and saw that that camera was tilted down #the way my whole heart stopped when I saw him push the camera down #and now I’m extremely paranoid when I’m leaving the house #because in the vid you can see him go right to the camera first #and then go for the truck #so I can’t help but wonder did he watch our house?#we had some friends over who left at 2 a.m. and then he came along at 3 #we were literally upstairs sleeping #I can’t believe it #I’m genuinely freaked out by the whole thing

ogh i tuned into the radio station i grew up listening to every day with my grandparents and i have been reduced to a ball of sludge on the floor

#it’s a golden oldies station so it’s still playing all the same music with most of the same hosts my god. my god #my grandma used to call into the station all the time when i was little and we’d req songs #when it was too cold in the winter she’d drive down to the end of the driveway and we’d sit in the car and call in #and listen to our reqs until the bus came #(this was back in the day when winter was cold. i had to go out around 5:30 for the bus)#(so it would be like pitch black and icy LOL the car was always so warm though)#it was nice #i’m tempted to call in and ask them to play brown eyed girl

I started a fresh game of Alan Wake yesterday... got all the way to Departure... a story told in timestamps.

Although I'll have to go back to get the ONE MANUSCRIPT PAGE I MISSED in order to get "Picking Up After Yourself". I was doing so good getting what few missing pages I had left. Now I'll have to go find a guide because I am not going through the trouble of finding it myself.

I know it's technically not Christmas yet, just the day before, but in my country everyone tends to celebrate a little early and wish in advance so I'm doing that ❤️

I wanted to be able to give you a gift because I consider you an amazing writer and person, but unfortunately it won't be possible. Even so, I hope you can have a great holiday and spend Christmas with people you love.

Actually, in Sweden (where I live) we celebrate Christmas on Christmas Eve so you were actually right on time ;) Christmas Day is more of a "let's laze around and try to recover from all the food we ate yesterday but also eat even more because moderation is overrated" sort of deal.

Though it's a little different for me this year since I'm actually alone for Christmas — by choice, don't worry. So instead of Christmas food, I've been eating reheated takeout for the past three days since I've barricaded myself inside our house and refused to do anything even remotely straining (including cooking).

Basically, the last two months have been rough, with work being incredibly stressful and me being very sick (and just mentally and emotionally exhausted overall), so I decided to stay at home and rest. Which is pretty sad since my wife is visiting her relatives right now and there are some nephews I've yet to meet, but I would probably have collapsed if I had tried to go with her. Sooo yeah.

Also, please don't feel like you have to give me anything! I gladly share my writing with you all and I don't expect anything in return :) That said, I appreciate you thinking of me — that's very sweet of you! Thank you 💜

But yeah! Merry Christmas and thank you so, so much for taking the time to send me such lovely well-wishes! I hope you're doing well too and I wish you a good rest of the year and a wonderful 2024! :D

i actually feel as though i am going insane bc i need to do TOMORROWS commissions to get the last story key for kaeya’s story quest because i was an IDIOT and and DIDNT

and now i feel like i’m full of BEES

so i’m waking up early and doing my commissions and then a story quest bc i’ll be damned if i have to wait three more fucking days to see my favorite traumatized blue haired man
