in case anyones wondering what the fuck is happening with mutual yandere tododeku, deku isn't killing people. he's more swung into the stalking aspect of it, you know, cataloguing absolutely everything there is to know about todoroki, bugging his place, stealing his blood samples, creepshots that take up a full closet wall, that sort of thing. todoroki meanwhile is all about obsession, but also he has this thing where he just sorta went on heroogle, typed in "how best to ensnare man if male", and is just doing a bunch of black magic rituals to ensure midoriya's heart (mainly because i think he would say "I refuse to be the other woman." apropos of nothing and not care to elaborate). most important is that bakugou is literally the only person to realize these bitches are crazy. because he ALSO stalked them. nosy bitch.

Okay so Todoroki selkie au

Selkies are seal shapeshifters. with ultra cool special lore surrounding them and their coats.

Dabi's skin is scared because he was unable to go to the ocean for too long. If he goes for a dip or finds someplace with clean water he can soak in then it gets slightly better. as in lighter in color and won't pain him as much. He dosent have staples in this au. The scars will never heal no matter what he does. If he goes too long out of water( he has to be able to submerge himself and be in his coat) then the skin starts cracking and bleeding. 

Shigaraki has offered him lotion and tried to apply it to him before when he's seen it. 

He hates fish because he's used to eating it as his seal form. His coat does not sit right on him. He's always been small and malnurished. added to the fact that his coat has several rough marks on it from being homeless and Dabi being unable to wear it/ keep it safe and its in bad shape. When he does wear it its too big and slips off easily sometimes. which is how Keigo ends up with his coat. Dabi was swimming around and fucking with a net when it slipped off, Keigo brings up his net only to find the coat. Boom, selkie married because he accidently has Dabi's coat and Dabi is being prevented from taking it out of Keigo's hands (it has to be hidden to steal his independence back or he has to murder Keigo and he promised no more murder to his siblings ). 

Shouto is also a selkie and one day he caught someone saying shit about Dabi's scars. Dabi raised his siblings in this au because im a sucker for that. So while normally Shouto takes very very good care of his coat, Unlike Dabi who went through a phase where he repeatedly just asked people who were polite to him to hold it, he looses his temper and shoves it back into his friends for a minute while he makes the person regret saying shit. 

it was enji's fault that Dabi has the scars and it's of course a sore spot because Shouto almost had the same thing happen. His scar is still from Rei and the Kettle though. Shouto ended up shoving the coat into both Bakugo and Izuku's arms. they both caught the coat and are standing frozen with it. Shouto has no idea what this would mean since both of them caught it and who knows how selkie marriage magic works? He just knows that he feel pulled towards both of them now, like a strong magnet pulling him to their sides. he figures he needs to find and ask Dabi. since neither of his other older siblings are selkies themselves and dont have coats or have ever felt the pull. 

Natsou is busy anyways, looking for another selkie who had carelessly left his coat at a resturant. Thinking it would be much like holding onto his older brothers coat for him he picks it up and takes it home to keep it safe until he figures out who it belongs to. then he will return it, but there's this red eyed guy who keeps hanging around him and is making the searching process difficult.

Fuyumi isn't a selkie either and while she can give Shouto and his new boyfriends a point in the right direction she's about too be busy teaching. she wishes them luck and let’s Dabi know Shouto and some company will be visiting soon. not really worried as Shouto has known Bakugo and Izuku since they were all children. Dabi handleling any unforseen problems also lets her relax about it.

Rei managed to find her coat one day with the kids help and ran. Shouto rarely sees her as she dosen't come up on land often now and almost never responds to calls for her. Touya tried when they were younger, He never succeeded in calling her, she will only awnser Shouto and only on her own terms. so that only leaves Dabi.

I don’t know why, but the first thing that I associate with Hawks is that if he wasn’t a hero, he would work on the law and politics side of things in favor of the public, and be extremely competent at it.

So, with that in mind, AU where Dabi doesn’t become a villain, he just runs away and then returns suing the living shit out of Enji and getting his ass arrested with attorney Keigo’s help.

In this AU, Keigo Takami is an incredibly talented attorney that graduated with scholarships in the best universities of the country and formed his law firm, and quickly rose through his field by working on the insides-outs of hero society. He is also UA’s lawyer and legal advisor, also know as the only one capable of keeping Nedzu on a leash. Has been plotting with Nedzu for years now, and has eyes, voice and ears all around the HSPC, while also being a bridge between both institutions.

He got a hero license to use his quirk with UA, because he doubles as a law teacher for the hero course and also he is attacked so goddamn frequently and beats so many of those attackers up that he might as well be licensed hero. He is still licensed under ‘Hawks’ but he is into super a niche, investigative work, not so much as actual heroing.

Even so, this is one of the cases where quirks are still a thing, and Keigo calls attention. Everyone who sees him in the street thinks that his guy with big red wings that every goddamn villain seems to fear or hate is some kind of super effective stealth hero or even a mob boss or something, but he is actually Japan’s most feared lawyer/prosecutor. It’s practically a cryptic, and has a lot of online theories about the mysterious guy who flies around, sometimes rescuing people and keeps being attacked and arresting villains, but practically no one but those who work on the legal field and know his work, or really hardcore hero theorists know what is up.

He takes several cases against abusers and in favor of child protection pro bono every time he can, and Touya’s case against Endeavor was the biggest of those. It was very grueling process, that made him get closer to the Todoroki family and get personally involved with them. By the time Shouto goes to UA, Endeavor is already arrested and his family in therapy. Shouto is a lot more comfortable at UA, because he is very familiar with Keigo, since he attends the family dinner every weekend and is basically a third older brother.

Keigo’s personality would be a bit different from canon in this AU. He doesn’t have to keep a facade for the public, so his expressions are much more neutral and his tone more serious, specially when he is working. Because of that he is a bit intimidating, (specially for opposing attorneys, politicians and heroes that fucked something up and now have to get him to fix it) but he is a lot more casual around friends and family, and more upbeat and friendly while with kids (even though he can still scare the living shit out of his students with one glare if the situation calls for it). Aizawa really appreciates having another sane person in UA and Keigo and Nighteye are work buddies in several occasions
