He’s super reluctant about it

Hes been doing this since he was a child he doesn’t need you to help

Doesn’t look you in the eye

He’s ashamed he even got hurt in the first place

It could be from something like cutting himself while hunting or when he got tortured

Doesn’t want to be coddled but he craves it

If you nag him he’s gonna just get up

Not gonna pretend a man with issues is gonna be so willing

He’s upset at everything right now

If you don’t nag him and just talk to him he slowly opens up

He’ll lean into your touch and close his eyes

Still can’t look you in the eye

He knows that worried look a bit too well

He’s good at worrying people with his recklessness

After a while he only lets you patch him up

And if you’re gone he waits for you

You’re the only person he wants

He hates when you nag him but the whole time he’s nagging you

He’s huffing every time he sees it

From a small splinter to like…a bullet wound he blames himself

He should’ve prevented it

Kinda treats as if you can’t handle yourself

Gentle with you however when he touches you it’s clear he just wants to hold you

Sometimes he needs someone else to help him because he can’t stand seeing you hurt.

If someone else is patching you up he’s not taking his eyes off of you in case you wince so he can give you his hand to squeeze

That one gifset got me thinking, so what's your opinion on Buck wearing pink? I've noticed he's worn it most around the Diaz boys, but never around a canon love interest 👀

Honestly, pink seems to be about conflict and family? Obviously, the first example anyone will think of Buck in pink is the tsunami. Which is a major family moment since it's canonically the moment Buck realizes exactly how much and in which way he loves Chris but it does ultimately lead to a near-death experience.

But other moments he's wearing pink are: May's graduation party and the moments we see him talking there, he's with Chris and apologizing to Bobby about the train, so he's with his kid and clearing the air with his father figure (wonder if the pink and yellow combo for Buck and Chris means something tho).

Also, Buck talking Eddie down after the skateboard thing and Chris calling him a liar, so parenting issue.

When he's talking to Albert about Veronica and accepting there's nothing he can do about it. Considering Jee, Albert is family in a more traditional way, they are bound by a blood relative, so family.

When Chim comes to tell him about the accident with Jee and why Maddie ran and finds out Buck knew and Chim is for all intents and purposes is his brother-in-law.

So, from the knowledge I gathered by putting the whole show in 12x speed to find every instance he's wearing green, I would reasonably say pink is his conflict in the family color.

Did my first session of therapy and it went pretty well, I think 👍

I got an adhd diagnosis like right away lmao. I mentioned to her I think I have autism but I'm not interested in a diagnosis, so we didn't touch that. There's also the possibility of prolonged grief disorder, tho it's hard to tell given that. Well. The grief is neverending for me, actually. But regardless of what it is, we will be working on it.

So! Things are looking up! And when I have my doctor's appointment in 2 months, I will have a neat little paper to be like "give me adhd medication, please :]"

There’s just a few things I’ll miss about this place when I run away. This is one of them.

A bazillion gazillion times, this. One for every lil beautiful batty bat bb that takes flight from this cave each summer night. Year after year. On and on, without end. Pollinators. Crop protectors. Earth angels.

I love them so much. I regularly recall the times I’ve had the privilege of witnessing this miraculous movement, and with such a grateful heart.
