Excited that the next InCryptid book (Installment Immortality) is still following Mary Dunlavy, because I was a big fan of how she did so much ghost terrorism she attracted the attention of the spirit-goddess of Earth who told her to knock it off, and then she said "can I bomb these guys first though" and the goddess of Earth said sure. those guys fucking suck

Also per the book summary: "she winds up on a road trip with the still-mourning Elsie and the slowly collapsing Arthur, both of whom are reeling in their own way from the loss of their mother." Hell yeah it's unpacking everything wrong with Arthur time. Maybe Mary will be good at that. He's sort of like a ghost of himself but worse.

With my particular brand of silliness depending on which kind of soft toys I find in thrift shops and at carboot sales, I don't always get to pick a specific colour to work with.

My personal favourites are blues, greens and purples; if I see a little friend sporting one or more of those, chances are he's coming home with me!
