Think of it like this: Let Steven tend to his own demons, and you tend to yours. Pal, you know I hate to see you like this. We have our own issues to attend to, and if they were to meet our Rose Quartz...then we can only assume the worst.” Red looked away, thinking about what had happened. “I hate this.” It felt like things were going to shit all at once.

Jade (Sofia Reinhardt)- An archiver whose main purpose is to create the murals that depict the Gems’ history. This forehead Jade in particular was of the Pink Diamond court, and worked on depicting the Diamonds themselves in her work. What a high honor! Unfortunately when the War started she was separated from her detail, an Agate and her Ruby soldiers. She was left behind during the evacuation and is currently on Earth, corrupted.

Ruby (Daniel Lyon)- A soldier and bodyguard with a gem on her chest. She was originally assigned to guard a Green Sapphire before a certain incident on Earth. Afterwards, she was reassigned under the watch of an Agate to guard some Jades and Bismuths who had been the targets of Crystal Gem attacks. There was one Jade in particular she got along well with, but she failed to guard her to the end, and the guilt pushed her to become a better soldier. She currently serves in Yellow Diamond’s army.

Green Sapphire (Pappie Leon)- An Oracle with her gem on the stomach. Unlike clearer bluer Sapphires, Green Sapphires can only see one future, the luckiest one, and how to get to it. They aren’t useful for contingency plans, but they can turn the tide of battle if one’s on the field. This Green Sapphire felt suffocated by her duties in Blue Diamond’s court. Green Sapphire was guarded by a group of Rubies, including a very diligent one, but once her guard changed following a certain incident, she took advantage of some chaos and slipped away to join the Crystal Gems, having heard the inspirational tale of the Fusion Garnet. She helped for a while but was caught and shattered by Homeworld forces.

Pink Agate (Wilfried Weilschmidt)- A Gem whose purpose is to keep her soldiers in line. This chest Agate served in Pink Diamond’s army. During the War, she was assigned to keep peace among the ranks on Earth and was eventually assigned to help protect non-combatent Gems get off-world. Among those the squad she personally oversaw was supposed to protect was a Jade who she befriended. But that was a long time ago. She currently serves in Blue Diamond’s army at a colony.

Rose Quartz (Violet Rose)- A Healer and Defender for battlefield purposes. This particular Rose Quartz with her Gem on the back of her right hand was supposed to help Pink Diamond in her quest to build the Kindergarten on Earth, but after her Diamond’s shattering, she was bubbled and kept in the Zoo.

Carnelian and Amethyst (Ree and Mackenzie)- Two soldiers who defected and joined the Crystal Gems. Carnelian’s gem was on the back of her left hand. Amethyst’s was on the back of the base of her neck. Sometimes they fused to form Spinel. Before leaving, Carnelian and Amethyst has befriended a Lapis Lazuli who was just on Earth for a visit. After the War began and their defection, Lapis had attempted to persuade the two of them to return to Homeworld only for Amethyst to be caught and shattered. Carnelian fought to her last and was corrupted and left on Earth.

Lapis Lazuli (Kinomoto Nanami)- A Terraformer who serves the Blue Court. This Lapis Lazuli with her Gem on the back of her head is good at her work but a bit on the bitter side. She dislikes all Quartz, especially Titanium, due to a personal instance of them shattering a close friend of hers during the War. Unfortunately, she is currently establishing a Kindergarten with a Titanium Quartz as the main point of contact with Homeworld.

Titanium Quartz (Ichihara Ai)- A Gem who serves as a battlefield scout and messenger. Or Gems that do- it’s uncertain even to the Diamonds how to classify them because all Titanium Quartz can and do telepathically communicate with all other Titanium Quartz, to the point where they all just seem to be the same consciousness in multiple bodies. They work as relays for dead zones or during times of duress, though due to evolving technology, they have been in use less and less. This particular Titanium Quartz body with the Gem on their left inner wrist had befriended a Rose Quartz, but that ended badly when the War began and Pink Diamond was shattered. They presently work in a far colony as an ineffectual point of contact with Homeworld as the local Lapis Lazuli keeps poofing them.

Sodalite (EXeLD)- A soldier with a gem in her stomach and a speciality in long range combat. She was assigned to a colony far from Homeworld as part of the security detail and is presently one of the only two Gems trying to keep the peace between the Lapis Lazuli and Titanium Quartz she has been sent to help protect. She has actually grown quite fond of the Quartz and is growing more and more upset with the Lapis’s abuse of them.

Indicolite (Holly Winters)- The Project Head of a Kindergarten operation with mechanical and diplomatic expertise. While her profile sounds impressive, this back gemmed Indicolite prefers finding gems that work above proficiency levels to handle her workload for her. Her scouting eyes had her ask Blue Diamond for the gems currently on the new Kindergarten operation, and as such, attempts to be responsible as one of the only two gems to step between the Lapis Lazuli and the Titanium Quartz she brought along.
