Morelle Cabaro and the twins for @thebramblewood ' vampire casting call ♥
Want to know more about them ?
Read below the cut !
Morelle Cabaro / around 325 years old / Queen of the forgotten fangs, the queendom she created in the early 1900' / Morelle was a slave who was sold to a demon in order to provide peace in this little town near Salem ... The demon actually was Ernesto Cabaro, a vampire king of the south that needed a daughter.
Luckily, Morelle learned everything quickly and became as strong as her creator. Together, they travelled all around the world and arrived in Sims Nation during the indrustrial time. Sadly, Ernesto was quickly killed by some hatefull humans which left Morelle on her own ...
From 1900 to the 1980's, Morelle decided to learn more powers and also got her revenge. But in Selvadorada, she met the twins : Gino and Paco Lazzo . Those two were absolute cuteness and Morelle fell in love ... With the both of them. While Gino is a snob and talented musician with a huge pansexual hunger, Paco is more a quiet and sad lover. Both of them are Morelle's bodyguard, Gino being the brain and Paco the arms. Morelle is and will always be the fangs.
Since they met, the gang have tasted lots of blood all around Sims Nation and are now running a secret nightclub for vampires ...

as far as absolutely malicious decisions by the child entertainmnet indrustry goes, naming miley cyrus' characther in hannah montana miley cyrus, even casting her own father as the character's dad, is absolutely up there as the worst ones. just the deliberate choice to make the relationship between kids watching and her as parasocial as possible, destroying a child actor's sense of identity and even making her afraid of not owning that name anymore, just what the fuck

Can you explain to me how the kpop indrustry works?
No, not really. The way it's described to me is basically "a bunch of famous-ish guys and/or girls hang out together as the entertainment industry's equivalent of a church youth group"

Sweetie, my dear. I'm sorry to break it to you but "sex work" can't be consensual If a woman it's accepting to have sex with a man only for money, that's cohersion. Even If you're somehow priviledged enough to do it "for yourself" without a pimp and you don't get shit from the johns, you're still supporting willingly an indrustry that lives of rape, human traficking, and threating women like less that disponsable condoms. Sowwy It's not Empowwering 🥺
And yes, all men are bad. They commit almost all crimes and atrocities in the world through history towards anyone including themselves. They're a destructive, depraved species. And women regardless of their atraction shouldn't take the risk of engaging with highly potential predators.
You can hate radz all you want. Without them you won't be a SWer by choice even, you'd be getting raped 24/7 by men regardless if you 'like it' or not (because they couldn't care less) and without money to "compensate" even.
And yes, all of this includes underage straight moids like Brett Ghey, he was old enough to abuse women and girls by his own and old enough to buy the ideology that womanhood = femeninity as a costume he can just put on to be a laydee, and make sexual post everywhere that reek Autogynophilia. Thank gaia he got killed before he raped a lesbian child in his class or provoqued the next school shooting :>
i don't even have a response can we just look at how completely unapologetically insane these people look, this literally looks like a shooter manifesto also i'm not a prostitute i'm a stripper??

Boscha, our resident Toxtricity, has recently been attempting to court our resident Salazzle, Golgotha, by mimicing human music. As both Pokemon are nocturnal, most attempts take place late at night. Even worse is that they end up waking the Rotom and Loudred, which in turn generate more noise.
Not that it isn't a perfect opportunity to study Pokemon courtship behaviour, but it isn't exactly great to hear the entirety of Smells Like Teen Spirit played by a Pokemon at 2:00 in the morning.
I guess grunge is popular with Pokemon as well as humans. I don't blame them, but I prefer hardcore post-indrustrial punk.

Reflections on a Year of Reading Cuban Literature
List of Books:
-History of Cuba - Clifford L.Staten
Throughout reading the History of Cuba by Clifford L. Staten I have learned much about Cuba’s geography. Based on the fact that the rainy season runs from May to October but also in the History of Cuba, I learned that Cuba is mainly a tropical climate. Staten brings up Cuba’s climate in many different ways. Another way he brings up this is by explaining how “the east coast is subject to hurricanes from August to November “ This informs me that the country of Cuba is a tropical country and benefits from the sun by making crops such as sugar, sweet potatoes, yucca, pineapples and berries these items are mainly bought or sold in the black market.
I have also learned much about Cuba’s history such as Cuban revolutionary and politician Fidel Castro. Fidel Castro served as prime minister of Cuba from 1959 to 1976 and eventually became the president of Cuba from 1976 to 2008. He served the prime years of Cuba having a huge involvement with the Soviet Union and the United States rivalry.
Based on the fact that the book mentions how the “ United States had alienated its people and spurred the growth of a Cuban Identity and nationalism divorced from the United States” I learned that the relationship with the United States was difficult and there’s a lot of tension between the two and the ways that they two are similar such as showing their devotion to and vigorous support for one's country. This showed me how they maintain theyre goal and desire of being an independent country. The book references defining characters in that he will not accept defeat.
One thing that I learned about Cuban culture is that food, tobacco, metals, etc are prime money-making items. Most importantly the sugar indrustry.  It was a desire for accessing goods that began to create some conflict on interest between the Spanish Crown and its settlers in Cuba. One tradition that is not as common, especially in the United States is cockfights. Cockfighting is when two birds are set in  space to fight each other. People commonly will put spurs/ sharp metal on their legs to harm the other birds when fighting. This became illegal in 1959 but was a very popular ‘sport’. The largest denomination of region is Catholics. Based on the fact that this book shows how the different norms are in the book, I learned that Cuba is very different from Americans and has different standards.
One thing that I learned about life from reading and being somewhat consistent is that I do enjoy history and learning about communists and anti-communists and how it has greatly defined our government. I learned that being different is not as bad as the United States have made it seem for over 40 years. Cuba as a country does not fit the description and “traders “ as the U.S. will try to portray them as.  They are hard-working and have much pride with not being as similar to Americans.  They have many smart tactics and have managed to keep their culture such as still having their main language as spanish and vibrating colors which brings togetherness.  Though there are things they can improve just like any other country, the ‘American Dream’ does not seem like the goal of the Cuban people.
One thing that I learned about myself from reading and being somewhat consistent is that I do enjoy history. For me personally I grew up really disliking reading- probably just like any other kid but until this very year I  decide I should get into the habit of reading more often and actually started reading my own book on my own will. I find the history part a little interested in knowing some facts about Cuba as a whole and they gradually get better as I hope every country will eventually evolve.  I see pride and integrity throughout reading the book and that is not a bad thing as all just as we commonly see patriotism in the U.S.  Overall learning about communists and anti-communists and how it has greatly defined our government and glad I have an insight into our world.

Piracy over Crunchyroll: Why Piracy Hasn't Died Yet?
This topic was a hot spot after one of the latest acquisitions of Sony, Crunchyroll and Funimation. As many know, Crunchyroll is a streaming platform managed in the US, Funimation is known for its dubbed content and Sony is a multinational corporation regarded as one of the world's leading businesses in electronics and visual entertainment, which in the recent time, this group corporation holds the whole distribution and dubbing in the west, a matter that has earned the name of anime monopoly.
Tumblr media
But it is a bad thing? Well, all the above means that Sony control a sizable percentage of the market, especially since Crunchyroll is also an anime licensee, and with Funimation, it sort of like they basically shifted every part of Funimation under Crunchyroll corporations. Thereby, this union has become one of the few legal ways to watch anime in the West, and since there's less competition in this area it has brought cost increases and plenty of technical issues such as bad quality, lack of available content and web development, mess in the community system, etc. Most of it being caused by the launch of their famous premium content.
Tumblr media
Yup, piracy is illegal and morally incorrect, but this kind of acts shows up to these businesses that consumers aren’t foolish. Some users are not going to buy a product that does not satisfy them, and others can’t even afford it at all. Just like that, it generates that many users questioned its decisions regarding legally or illegally ways to watch content; is an easy move to return to (or just never leave) our favorite free sites to enjoy anime but feel guilty about the fact that we aren't supporting the anime indrustry, so then, what happen with the support to anime studios from Sony/Crunchyroll and consumers?
Tumblr media
First, remember that Sony is a huge corporation that’s not going to be completely aware about subordinates of one of their sub-acquirements, and second, we barely can know the treatment of this kind of companies to their employees and the idea of what’s the payment that they receive. It goes like this: anime studios just sell the license to Crunchyroll and studios retrieve a percentage of the profits, then Crunchyroll keeps the rest (speaking from a brief an generalized view). However, there's a lot of controversy about the real percentage that anime studios gain:
Atsuko Enomoto, known for roles on Pokemon and Detective Conan, shared in a Twitter space how even as professional working since 1998 that getting paid enough is a struggle. “The fees for animation work are too low," she explained. "Only those who have been performing for a long time and are confident can afford it." When funds were broken down based on Enomoto's explanations of pay, it equaled about 750 yen per hour, which is significantly below Japan's minimum wage of 930 yen per hour.*
Seeing the states of affairs, the best way to support properly the work of your favorite studio, animator or voice actor still is by watching their anime movies when they come out in theater, buying a Blu-ray or getting official merchandise of anime’s you thoroughly enjoyed.
Anyhow, if Crunchyroll want to successfully be engaged to their audience, they must do it through what they truly need, what they really want to see and what is certainly worth paying (even more here in the West, where's a ton of third world countries). Is better for them to open up to the actual people’s requests, because that will closely involve innovation, global accessibility and of course, a more sustainable and enjoyable franchise.
But since yet this is not the case, long live piracy!
