I have revamped Mella! I really really loved how @/keebs_draws (on instagram) depicted him in her Art Fight attack and was inspired to redesign him and make a new ref sheet.

Wooooooooo here's the design for Zuko in his villain era in S1 in my Last Air Keyholder AU - big sci-fi story in a megapolis where gangs of firebenders race using bending to boost speed. Zuko is one of the best ones in the world (mostly because he wastes time and energy practicing as he has nothing better to do, seeing how his father tasked him with finding the lost Avatar). Aang gets woken up by Katara and Sokka from a cryo pod deep underneath the city, 1000 years after the last airbender was seen.

The biggest difference in design is that unlike how he was forced into this hairstyle in canon series, here Zuko chooses to wear it this way. I think that would be an interesting situation. Each bending style has a key holder and a symbol, the firebending one looks like a dragon spitting lightning if you squint! Based on what I researched, looks like Zuko defaults to using Hi-Low unrockered design for aggressive inline skating. He used to suck at this too and would often fall backwards. He wears a special overcoat and jacket with a sewn-in assistive technology that lets him fire lightning without damaging his own body. Iroh finances all repairs for Zuko's equipment. His uncle may not be the owner and head of the strongest enterprise in the world like his father, but Iroh still owns an entire skyscraper at the outskirts of the city.

But when the Avatar actually appears, they engage in chases across the megacity at breakneck speeds. Aang, however, doesn't use any technology other than his airbending! And firebenders were told that their bending is at the top of the pyramid and that's why it outclassed and pushed out all other benders who are now in a much smaller number compared to them.

Alex (horreurscopes) is very generously offering these 8 gorgeous original prints to benefit Mohammed Iwais's gofundme campaign!

Mohammed @mohdiwais lives with his family in Gaza, where they have now endured 8 displacements since October 7. As of writing this (29 Aug.), his family has been separated in their most recent displacement, and half of them are sleeping on the streets. Mohammed is the provider for his siblings and their children, and his family also has injured and sick members. He wants to evacuate his most vulnerable family members as soon as possible; in the meantime, necessities like food and medicine are exorbitantly expensive in Gaza right now. verified by @/90-ghost and more details about the family here.

Raffle entries are 150 SEK (approx. $15 USD) each. You can enter as many times as you like, and the raffle will close at midnight PDT on 12 September (that's two weeks to enter!).

All of these prints can be shipped internationally.

I made even more proto-Grendel and Gauss art 💙🧡

I thought about also sharing some of the characteristics and ideas I had while designing proto-Grendel and Gauss, a lot of which I took inspiration from people who commented on the original design sheets. (Thank you for that <3)

For Gauss, I really liked the idea of him being an old hot rod lover with greying hair on the sides and a large scar on the bridge of his nose from all the walls he keeps crashing into. I thought it would be fitting for him to wear a black leather biker jacket along with his atomicycle helmet, which I made based on his original design mixed with a fighter pilot helmet. Unlike Amir, Gauss uses his inline skates to achieve his inhuman speeds.

I designed Grendel as a large juggernaut unit with lots of padding around his original warframe design. Accompanied by a full ginger beard that slightly greys out the father it gets to his hair. He has no real medical skills but always keeps a box of band aids (with hot wheel-like designs on them) in one of his many pouches to patch up Gauss with. Dealing with an insatiable hunger. Grendel's constantly growling stomach reminds him of the Helminth strain growing inside him.

Thinking about how their romance system would work in the game. Coming from someone who has two partners, I really loved the idea of Grendel and Gauss being a romanceable couple. That way the drifter can enter their relationship as a third. They could even have a KIM group chat with the two of them reacting to the drifter's messages.

These are just my thoughts and ideas for a personal headcanon, but I really loved reading the suggestions people commented on the original design sheets, so feel free to add your two cents :)
