Well guys it was a doozy last weekend: the big 30! Eli put together the perfect day for me with my closest loved ones, lots of relaxing, good food and bubbly. #Inktober Day 10- Gigantic. Ooooh boy, let me tell you, I loved the look of the sequoia bark so much, that when I totally messed up the mountains the first time, homegirl threw a little frustration tantrum. I went to redraw the whole thing but liked it so much less that I resorted to Xacto out the salvageable pieces from the OG, glue them onto a new piece of bristol, and carried on. (Major kudos to papercut artists, like, how do they manage to cut around teeny tiny leaves and animals so cleanly?!?) Still not pleased hahah and I bent my favorite nib in the process of all this :( I will definitely redraw some other day!! Now, sleep! 🙏
