Isrieal hangs onto those steel bladed fans, clutched within her hands. She wasn’t going to stand down. She didn’t fear him but she feared losing everything she ever had. “Destroy what you have to, the President, whoever I don’t care! Just leave this alone. Please. It’s all I have!”

She releases those blades and they float into the air, hovering along side her, poised to strike if it so came to it. She continues to gaze upon him, arms at her sides and a fierce yet solemn look set within her gaze. She didn’t want to fight but she would always defend herself.

@insxrrection - 🔅: What’s a place that holds special meaning to them? Why?      strangely enough, with all the seedier elements that the slums hold, especially wall market, mercy loves it there. yes, you have to be careful, especially if you’re a lady. but given the fact that she’s not afraid to smash a dude’s face in, mercy hasn’t really had a problem that she hasn’t been able to fix when wandering around, looking at the shops or clothing stalls. there’s intermingling sounds and smells, people shouting and lively music... there’s always something to see, and if you play your cards right you might end up heading home with full belly for only a few gil.

Noel and Serah [Closed]

Serah and Noel had been travelling several days already, the battles and emotional roller coaster had taken it's toll on the Farron sister, the seer. Noel had reassured her he would keep watch as she slept. That did not help ease her troubled mind, however. As she laid by the campfire in a makeshift bed of leaves she tossed and turned fitfully. It was that same dream she had been having. All her loved one's crying out to her: Claire, Snow, and even Noel. It was Noel she last saw, her fingers slipping through his before she was swallowed in some impenetrable darkness. The feeling of dread was crushing. Shooting up as she regained consciousness she cried out into the darkness, sweat dripping down her forehead. 

She was somewhat relieved when she saw the camp fire, some source of light once more, but the darkness of her dream still loomed in the back of her mind - it was so close she could still feel it. Trembling, she brings her knees to her chest and holds herself tightly as she whimpered. No sooner than she shot up and cried out Mog began to fly around in a frenzy. "Kupo, Noel!" He began tugging on Noel's sleeve as if he hadn't heard Serah's loud cry.
