          IS IT A GREATER GRIEF TO BE LEFT STANDING while another is gone, or to be the one who is lost?-- or tethered in between worlds, left to watch in flickering beats and unseen for long years. Ben has watched for a long time now, observing through a kind of one-way glass where the rest of his siblings could never meet his eyes. One moment, spirit conjured into the real world before the world had begun to fall apart, and his image faded away before he could say a thing ( COULD HE? he doesn’t know-- but it was never the same as really seeing them would be ). Now, through a swirling vortex of time and space, one he and Klaus fell out in an unrecognizable alleyway. 

                                            EXCEPT SOMETHING WAS DIFFERENT. 

    Seemingly the same as always, there was only slight inclination in the beating of his heart and tingling feeling of life at his fingertips that he couldn’t quite pinpoint. But walking alongside Klaus, REALIZATION washed over him the moment a passerby bumped into his shoulder. Then came the confusion, questioning, pieces CLICKING together as Ben’s mind struggled to process what happened- corporeal, given a body once more. 

                        And present, finally, trailing behind Klaus as they step in to find not six, but SEVEN SIBLINGS, all standing in one. Maybe he should have expected the ensuing COMMOTION upon his, well...standing right in front of them, a whirlwind of explanations and embraces when finally, he finds himself standing in front of Vanya. Lips tug into a tentative, yet warm smile- relief comes with the realization that she’s okay ( SIMILAR TREATMENT-- BOMB AND MONSTER ALIKE, yet death comes with the time to contemplate, and their powers...they aren’t defining ). “Hey, Vanya...” Something is off, he knows it, but now, Ben could HARDLY mind. 

                “Do you...” REMEMBER ME?
