because Tesla was the first all-electric vehicle highly popularized in the US. most if not all initial buyers were planet-hugging liberals who wanted to stop using fossil fuels. it started as a status symbol of ‘I could spend my money on a luxury car, BUT I care about the environment! And don’t have to give up looks or having fun driving!’

Which eventually lead to teslas being the most affordable all-electric option. For a number of years. Tesla and SpaceX, over 15 years ago, were incredibly innovative and seen as a liberation from over reliance on fossil fuels

reblogs count as interactions/notes on a post that is tagged phan, but tagging a reblog 'phan' specifically does not suddenly add the post to the phan tag. it does good for killing 'cringe bad' in your head, but reblogging & adding #phan doesn't help the numbers.

just like if i post with no tags, and you reblog it #dog, it won't show up in the main 'dog' tag because it wasn't 'labeled' as #dog to begin with

Hi! I've been working on this webgame for two months so far and it's super early days but I've been making decent progress. So I want to start putting it out there to find people who might be interested in something like this. Mainly so I can have people to talk to about it haha, but also so I can have an easier time getting feedback when I need it.

I'd say the game is supposed to have a similar setup like neopets or chicken smoothie but with cute guys instead of pets! And also with a very self insert-y vibe (or OCs if you're not into that).

My current goal is to get the site running with the basics first:

- User Profiles

- Boyfriend Collecting (You get a few each "month", month is in quotations since I probably wont be consistent at first cause I'll be busy with coding)

- and Forums

But there's way more stuff I wanna add in the future like:

- customizable player avatars

- trading

- affection levels and unlockable romantic interactions and possible short stories in a visual novel format

- mini games, gifts and an idle options to help with raising affection so people dont have to log in everyday

- possible bf dress up abilities, (though I'm still trying to figure out if this is feasible lol)

- setting up scenes with player avatars and a bf or bfs that can be saved as an image (kind of like a photobooth or dollhouse)

So yea, it a lot but this is definitely a long term passion project with no time limit so I'll be able to slowly add them over time.

Seen the tags on the Woodsman art you did. 1. YES with the critterfication. I always found it odd how the fandom (at least early fandom?) had a thing with Wirt being like that but nobody thought to have the Woodsman have the same attributes despite carrying the lantern for way longer AND trans headcanon? -insert handshake emoji- mine's more of a nonbinary-any-pronouns sort of thing but I absolutely love the transfemme one!

I absolutely agree. It's so weird that not only did the fandom critterify Beast Wirt, but that it seemed to be a very fast transformation once he got the lantern. Woodsman had the lantern for far longer and yet nothing happened to her- which I get, that was her design in the show, but still. Fandom redesigns are very common. I've been trying to find ways to critterify her more, but between other hyperfixations I haven't drawn her much.

And as for Woodsfemme, I love this headcanon. So much. She is such a genderqueer character to me. I totally get nonbinary Woodsman (in fact, another headcanon of mine is that since the Beast is agender, lantern bearers start to fall outside of the gender binary the longer they have it, so Woodsman at the time the siblings meet her is nonbinary transfem), and I think it's really cool that other folks see her as genderqueer. Because I thought that was a just me thing lmao
