My mom had two strokes in november of last year and we got moved up to oregon because she couldn't live with just me anymore and needed care for a while, then she ended up in a care home in albany (a town over) and she said she'd be home in april for our birthdays then she had another stroke and delayed it to august and has moved into the long-term area of the house now so she's not coming home soon i guess.

Getting drunk probably wasn't the wisest idea Chris ever had but it was becoming a slight vice. Actually, it always had been but since the death of his daughter it was far worse. Chris was turning to anything to try and f e e l something other than numb and hollowed out. Horny drunk was an even worse idea and Stuart was not at all helping the cause. Not even a little bit. Groaning, Chris' eyes kept flicking down to his lips. "I don't scream," he murmured, eyes a little unfocused. He never made a lot of noise but he was already feeling more unraveled than he usually did too.

No no no it's not that serious bb. They're just probiotics to help with  my stomach since I had my gallbladder out last January. It's nothing like agonizing or life threatening, just uncomfortable and weird since I've never missed a day of taking it in a year.

While it was true they had spent a lot of time together recently, Chris never anticipated hearing those words slip from Stuart's mouth. Guilt tore away at him, jerking his eyes to become very interested with the patterns of the tiles on the floor. He couldn't. He wouldn't pull Stuart more into the mixed up issues of his life. He was much too young for that. "You shouldn't. Go like someone who is normal. Who doesn't have as many hang ups and issues that I have. Try to have a semi-normal life you couldn't have with me."

          god, it's anything but the fact that he doesn't want to be there - it's that he'll never good good enough for stuart; it's the fact that he can't even begin to comprehend what he did to deserve someone like stuart in his life, someone who's stuck by him through all the negative fucking shit and someone who he can rely on, someone who he can trust his life with. 

          no, it's not the lie that he doesn't want to be there. it's the fact that he can't figure out why stuart would want to be with or how he could possibly fall in love someone like him in the first place.
