Experience at Aespaes Lab Pvt Ltd

 I have been working as a sales intern at Aespaes Lab Pvt Ltd and due to covid-19 it is a virtual internship. My experience at Aespaes Lab Pvt Ltd has been great so far, I have been able to learn a lot in a fast paced environment. In this company the work environment is very friendly. I can ask questions to my seniors and get my query solved. At Aespaes I learnt many skills like digital marketing, social media marketing, blog writing, SEO, time management and team work and many more. With guidance and support of Mr. Amey Pangarkar, our business head, this internship has become easy and interesting for me. I am willing to learn many more skills in this internship in future.

Finding my feet during Internship

With my first internship, I was required to work in a team of four with two classmates and one other student from a different course. The strategy that I will use to find my feet with this internship is to make sure that I understand the brief completely. As the brief states, we are required to start off by reading through the previous student life programs that the Holmesglen Rec team has provided in the past, moving forward we then research other Tafes and Universities to compare the services they provide to ours. By the way, this is just the start

As a group we came up with a strategy that we share our workload equally, so everyone has work to complete but also still work as a team. My individual strategy is to try not to procrastinate and get my parts of the project done in time to move on to the next tasks. 

As I will be working from home, I know I must manage my time more and communicate more to the group online as we are unable to meet face to face. Within my first 40 hours of the internship, I will be working two eight-hour days a week with the group. Login to WebEx which is the application we will be using to communicate, have a meeting and then go and complete my daily tasks.

To ensure that my strategy is successful, I will have to plan and prepare ahead so that I reduce and fear of not completing tasks, being prepared will ensure that I am ready to start my work. So, since I already have a plan in place, I know I am heading in the right direction.

This time around it was different as I was now the only Intern working with two RecTeam member. I had just got my licence so getting on my feet was not too much of a challenge as I was able to navigate myself around quicker and easier. All I had to work on, on my side was making sure I have a solid routine that helped get to Holmesglen on time with the morning traffic. I made sure to always have my phone charged and laptop, lunch ready to go the night before my internship days.

I made sure I listened to positive music or sometimes podcasts as this would keep me in a good mood throughout the day. Luckily enough I was already familiar to the faces I had to work during my internship, so this made me feel much comfortable and was easy for me to feel a sense of belonging within the team.
