Hmm I like the idea of Yuli possibly being the heir of a fallen kingdom. Long lost royal blood or something. Maybe Crowley's kingdom invaded it long ago and she's one of the last descendants and doesn't know it. I feel like Silver could have the same story though.

Deuce as a royal guard is so cute tho, he'd take his job super seriously but we all know how smitten he'd be with a crush. Combined with the fact that he falls so easily he'd definitely fall for the royal he's guarding if he spends enough time with them.

Mikhael, who has been coming to Grisha’s gym for the last two years, was born and raised in Moscow. Working in the tech industry in Israel, he now finds himself unable to visit his mother and sister, who still live in the Russian capital.

“There’s no way I can go home now. I decided to make aliya hand I am happy here. I did my service in the Israeli army. But in Russia it’s not the same. I do not want to be part of that,” the 33-year-old said.

Israel’s law of return – much reviled by Palestinians, to whom it does not apply – gives people born Jewish, converts, spouses of Jewish people and those with Jewish parents or grandparents the right to move to the country and acquire Israeli citizenship.

Since 1950, Israel has seen several waves of aliyah immigration from countries including Sudan, Ethiopia and Yemen, as well as an influx of more than 1 million people after the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1989.

For Ukrainian-born Knesset member Yuli Edelstein, a prominent refusenik who spent three years in a Siberian penal colony, there is a sense that history is repeating itself.

“Danger has been part of the Jewish experience in Russia for generations. No one will ever forget that,” he said.

The aliyah process has been expedited for Ukrainians, who are classed as refugees, but unexpected demand from Russia has overwhelmed the Jewish Agency, the quasi-governmental body that facilitates immigration. On top of the 26,000 Russians who have already arrived in Israel so far this year, another 35,000 are waiting for paperwork to be processed.

Israel’s aliyah and integration ministry, the foreign affairs ministry and the treasury met after Putin’s military call-up to discuss emergency budgets, lodging options and organising flights for new arrivals.

The Jewish Agency’s work, however, is under threat. In July, Russia’s justice ministry recommended that the organisation be shut down for violating Russian privacy laws, sparking a diplomatic spat.

Despite pressure from its western allies to take a forceful stance, Israel has tried to remain neutral in the war in Ukraine, as it relies on Moscow to facilitate its military operations in Syria. The threat of closing the Jewish Agency’s offices, however, led Israel’s caretaker prime minister Yair Lapid to warn that such a move would be a severe blow to bilateral relations. A case is slowly working its way through a Moscow court, and the agency’s future is uncertain.

“It’s not clear at all what the Russians are hoping to achieve by targeting the Jewish Agency. The government is not monolithic… maybe one branch is seeking to slow the emigration and another is aware of the possible diplomatic implications,” said a source connected to the issue who asked not to be named to avoid jeopardising the Jewish Agency’s case.

“It’s hard to predict what will happen next, but there are two contradictory outcomes: either people will fear to put themselves forward as candidates for aliyah, now it’s been frowned upon by the government, or it will lead to an even bigger surge in numbers.”

Putin’s mobilisation led to a scramble for flights to Israel, where Russian citizens are still welcome as tourists. Five new private agencies have also opened to help Russians make aliyah, and Agence France-Presse reported that municipal administration offices across the country have seen huge increases in people looking for records to back up their claims of Jewish heritage. Many of those contacting the authorities for help are mothers desperate to get their sons out of the country.

“I got an Israeli passport many years ago because I always knew something like this was possible. I always knew the dark days of the Soviet Union could return,” said Anna Klatis, a journalism professor at Moscow State University who left for Jerusalem with her 16-year-old daughter in February.

“It is tough for my daughter to adjust to a new place and learn Hebrew for school. Maybe she will have to do military service here. But I could not let her grow up in a place where freedoms are vanishing.”

Is Islam no longer relevant today?

There is a mosque in German that legalize LGBT, even in their worship activities. They said that LGBT is acceptable in Islam under the pretext of "Love is halal". Not even just legalize LGBT, they allow mix men and women when worship which is not allowed in Islam.

I've heard a lot about this, the reason of all of this is the Human Rights, HR allows human to do whatever they want as long as it does not hurt and harm other people, of course I accept this too, HR is good to prevent the slavery culture from the past, to prevent countries to invade each others, but if HR is mixed with religion, I think it could not be, at least not all.

In religion, in this case is Islam, LGBT is extremely prohibited, and it is contradictory with the HR principle which allowing LGBT, but unfortunately(?) the world is accept and principled on HR anyway.

Let's take another case that recently happened.

The promotion offers people named Muhammad or Maria to get a free alcohol, as we know, Muhammad is prophet in Islam, it means people with name Muhammad in Indonesia must be a Muslim. So this promotion as if ignoring that Islam is disallow alcohol and invite people to free from the annoying strict rules.

So as I mentioned in my previous post before, people are getting bored with the religion strict rules. This is the era of freedom, this life should not be ruled with annoying and unnecessary rules, let people live with their own style as long as it does not hurt someone. Am I correct?

Yu Lee/Yulie

General Information

The name Yu Lee or Yulie is a corruption of the personal name of Princess Taiping, which a lot of her background is related to.

I'm still thinking of how her appearance is going to work out but so far, she's an ordinary looking girl but her confidence makes her seem 8 feet taller than you. Yu Lee doesn't talk often and still comes off as a very confident lady who knows what she's doing. Though, not reliable per say. It's more of an untrustworthy air that inspires nervousness.

She also keeps her eyes relaxed and closed most times. It saves energy and gives her less of a headache. Yu Lee surgically had her eyes replaced by the optics of a mana-detecting automaton. The scelera are a deep blue and instead of pupils, there are these empty pink squares that are actually her crosshairs.

Yulie's mother was foreigner who married a local noble, despite the scrutiny of both families. Her father let his family inheritance fall to the next person in line so he could be happy with his wife and child. Both of Yulie's parents passed away some time later, and foul play was absolutely a factor in it. Her cousins assumed she would make a move to become the main heir to the family fortune and territories, so they tried to do away with her by setting fire to her home.

Successfully escaping, Yulie was presumed dead and no one went looking for her. Years and years pass, and she's a young adult nursing a grudge that had grown from including her cousins, to the nobles who supported them, to all nobles. She figures that one day, it'll just grow until it includes anyone that's happy.

Though her past life had been content, Yu Lee was forced into a passive role with her family that she tries to make up for in her current every day. She joined the Rose, not for any sort of vendetta against magic or sensing some wrongs in it, but because she wanted to eventually rise and get her own power to crush those weaker than her.

Eventually, the Rose wasn't enough for her. They were too passive and many objected with her gross use of force. Quite quickly, she was secretly invited to join others in a secret, more extreme faction hiding within the flowers.

Her robo-eyes came from a surgery she volunteered eagerly for, even though it meant giving up regular sight forever. As opposed to most of the thorn members that got forced or bullied into surgery, Yulie was happy to give up her sight if that meant a more exciting hunt.

Misc

People are as deep as the sea, taking on forms unrecognizable from their last. The warm tropics gradually darken into the deep abyss after all. But, even the tempests turn into gentle waves, taking back the seaweed rotting on the coast. Yulie finds that she's completely frozen, taking notes from the actual boss. And when all the ice melts, it's going to take everyone with it.

To put things less metaphorically, Yulie knows that this revenge will destroy her but she doesn't care. She's set and will do everything in her power to take as many people down with her.

She's incredibly sloppy. Her work space is a mess and she puts her feet on tables whenever she can.

The only thing yulie keeps clean are her battle gear.

Some things from her etiquette intensive life still stick. She's very rude but her way of speaking keeps polite and sophisticated conventions.

In the MQ/futuristic verse, her mech is Kotaigo. It's a smaller mech that can pierce into other mechs without them noticing, leeching information until it invades the control systems. On its own, it's still a fast and deadly opponent, especially mixed with the violent and dirty style of its pilot.

Her favorite weapon is a dagger, that when plunged into anyone with magic, it violently ejects from their body. Like shoots right out of their skin, like an implosion kind of? No one else uses it because of how the wielder is 100% going to get caught in the explosion along with anyone else close by. Still, Yulie uses it all the time and repeatedly goes to the infirmary.

I do not know what he had seen in me, but he would not leave me be, even as I asked him to, several times in fact!”“‘How about this book? This one is also similar to the type you’re searching for. Ah, and this…~!’““He kept pressing book after book at me, even though the subject matter those other books contained slowly diverged from the original…Until I had just realized that he was suggesting classic romance novels to me. That is not what I was looking for, thank you! Hrmf!”

Yuli:“I honesty do not know what he was trying to accomplish as he had even gone as far as to compliment me on my appearance. I had chosen to wear a minimalist ensemble that day, seeing as I was not performing, so why would he…? While compliments are generally welcome with me, I do not appreciate them if they were given while invading my personal space!”

Yuli:“And then, later on, I found out that that stupid librarian is an angel! Of all things! It made the experience more horrid a thousandfold! I suspect that he had used his devilish tricks to find out my personal contact number as, to this day, I continue to receive messages from him. Yes, even as I change numbers, he still manages to find me! Am I cursed??”
