Next time I do this exercise I think I’m going to have to try on an empty stomach. I’m fast learning that I exercise better and more efficiently when I have little nourishment to begin with and my stomach is empty of most food. I believe digestion gets in the way of serious workout I can use that energy very quickly. I knew this exercise would be tough before I even tried it thanks to watching a video on @themonkeybargym. I also wanted to find the ideal rig that would allow me to sit under the bar just so I could seated 🪑 as in the video. Just behind me I improvised by making use of the cycle racks. What I wouldn’t know was how tough it would be for me given that I have a disability in my arms and wrists so can’t easily rotate them they could benefit the exercise. If you think for one moment hanging from a rig and doing very challenging arm exercises doesn’t carry risks, think again. There’s the same risk of falling from a tree; the failure of my grip. This is something I have to be super aware of. Yet I drive myself to repeat the exercises to the point of exhaustion where I do not have enough stamina to hold on and then I try for a couple more repetitions. Im doing my best not to to strain my left arm and shoulder although to completely honest to do this is near on impossible. However Im having to focus more on my lower body or core and just throwing in the occasional exercise that requires the use of both arms. being autistic can make life very trying at time’s. On the one hand going off and doing the unconventional or thinking out of the box comes as natural as knowing one has to drink water to survive. But on the downside sensory issues mean I can be sensitive to changes in the weather not knowing if fatigue is because of something I’ve eaten, lack of sleep. Allergy or the weather. Now back at home 🏡 taking a nap at 6pm. So far eaten less than 1000 Cals and around an hour of exercise. Fatigue too is an odd feeling I tried swinging from yet bars but had no strength yet was able to do a number of core exercises and inverted crunches. Perhaps feeling tough was because part of doing the unconventional is pushing my body to its dropping point. This was a first for me climbing onto the branch and finding I felt comfortable with just my right leg being supported by a branch and my left leg being left in the air. I also didn’t feel the slightest bit strained. This time I’m doing inverted tranches with a difference I’m twisting my body at the same time Are used to think that it’s important for me to work out on an empty stomach and. Also this type of different fitness that’s pretty much unique my own idea it’s all about trial and error and I’m going today that I’ve got to have to get thick socks to wear because it kills the top of my feet and will pick us up so I’m not able to do 30 repetitions as opposed to 15.
