iOS 13 vs Android 10: Let’s Know Who Is Better?
In this article, we are going to discuss iOS 13 vs Android 10 and will find out who is better to whom so let’s start a discussion without any delay. The greatest debate of every is which one is the better mobile O.S. as around 3 billion or more people are using smartphones, but only two O.S. are battling head to head to acquire more market share. Android and iOS both these O.S. are really evolved during 13 years of their development and this O.S. shows great problem-solving capability which we can’t imagine a decade ago.
As we see iOS 13 v/s Android 10 both these OS. were released back in 2019 and after 8 month of their usage let get deep dive into the best feature among both to compare these O.S. head to head and decide who which OS is better in iOS 13 vs Android 10.
Tumblr media
iOS 13 vs Android 10
iOS 13 vs Android 10 Features Discussion:
1. Dark Mode (iOS 13)
The dark mode is one of the most obvious features requested by users before the launch of these O.S. so Apple and Google give their users a taste of the dark world and people loved it, and this feature also comes with great battery saving capability which benefits OLED display devices.
Dark more iOS 13 is really amazing and really work out of the box as Apple developer rapidly pick this feature and bring an update to their app without facing any trouble at around every major app now support Dark mode on iOS13. While the approach of Android 10 is a little bit slow as it took time to the developer to pick the pace while still, some major developer does not support Dark mode till now.
iOS 13 automatic changing mode from light to dark is pretty seamless while Android 10 still doesn’t support this feature.
2. Digital Wellbeing (Android 10)
This feature is nicely implemented on Android 10 rather than Apple”s screen time feature as it gives more intuitive control to the user and helps them to balance their digital life. The most amazing feature of Digital Wellbeing is the monochrome screen as when Wind Downtime activated this gives the user more time to use their device while less strain on their eyes.
Digital Wellbeing is also implemented well for family devices as the user can set their child screen time so children will not over-exceeds their limits. It also integrates the location of family people so the user can easily manage their family location and give some intuitive action according to the situation which makes the user feel nearer even they are too far.
3. Apple Arcade, TV+ and News (iOS 13)
These might be new services from Apple but these feature makes more reason to connect to devices, as this feature requires a monthly or yearly subscription. Apple Arcade gaming service now becomes large catalog game genres which include sports, puzzles, racing, etc. But as you subscribe to this service you can play the same game from where you level in your Apple TV, iPad, or Mac which makes this amazing.
Apple TV+ might have sloppy start and competitors are way ahead of Apple, but Apple is trying to bring more immersive content their catalog but still need time. Apple News now brings magazine service and premium articles from major publishing houses which made the reading experience more fabulous.
4. Find My (iOS 13)
This feature made iOS 13 most promising O.S. as this app include the integration of two apps Find My Friend and Find iPhone app and integrate into one this app help user to manage their own Apple device they can locate it, ring on it, delete it or lock the device if lost. Apple new feature to find the device even if it is lock because of nearby iOS Bluetooth device which acts as a beacon for user device this feature make iOS more secure even if it is lost or theft.
Alongside the device, the user can also locate their loved ones with the app or make a notification if they enter or leave a specific area.
Future of Find My app is more promising as Apple is making their own tracking chip similar to Tile, so user can find the item which it tag on pretty easily. iPhone 11 includes new U1 which uses less battery than Bluetooth and WiFi and use to find the precise location of using this feature will help tag item find pretty easily.
5. Future for Foldable (Android 10)
The foldable device still is pretty huge in terms of costs but soon it becomes normal goto as soon as the company tries to compete and bring the price down a bit. So support the Foldable architecture is no harm and Android 10 shows the way to developer to bring their app for Foldable devices. Apple don”t seem Foldable as harm to iPhone and they don”t bother to bring in iPhone but who knows what future brings to them.
So these are some of the amazing features from both worlds of iOS 13 vs Android 10 it’s you which will decide who better in the race of iOS 13 vs Android 10 lets us know in the comment section below. I hope you like iOS 13 vs Android 10 discussion and we will bring you more so stay connected for a more future article like this goodbye.

iOS13 Updates: Dark Mode and Context Menus
Attention iOS users! We’ve got two shiny new updates in YNAB to save your eyeballs and save you time in iOS13.
Update #1: Dark Mode. Your Budget goes to the dark side in DARK MODE! Think: less blue-to-red lightsabers, more white-to-black backgrounds.
Update #2: Context Menus. Save time and taps by using new context menus in YNAB. This means fewer taps to access those frequently used actions (like viewing all the activity for your grocery store category this month).
Let’s dive into those updates a bit more:
Dark Mode
Tumblr media
What’s the point of dark mode?
Dark mode turns screens, well, darker. This is especially helpful in reducing eye strain if youre staring at a screen all day. Plus, in the evening hours this mode is better for your sleep.
How does that work?
The blue light emitted from your phone looks a lot like daylight to your body. When that light hits your eyes, your body says “stay awake” rather than “get ready for sleep” by suppressing melatonin production (put another way, that screen light at night might be delaying your bedtime by over an hour). When your phone is in dark mode, there’s less light to send confusing signals to your body at bedtime. And here you just thought it was the money stress going down that was helping you sleep better.
For the practical among us, dark mode also preserves battery life (especially with OLED screens), and we can all give three cheers for that one!
How do I see my budget in dark mode?
YNAB will adapt to whatever your device settings are. If you want to see your budget in dark mode, turn your device to dark mode (watch how here).
When your phone is automatically set to turn to dark mode at night (as iOS offers), YNAB will magically adapt to do the same.
Android users, hold tight—these changes will roll out to you soon!
Context Menus
Think of context menus as shortcuts for the things you do most often.
You can access these shortcuts using the long press (think tap-and-hold) on your Budgets screen, Accounts screen, or Transactions screen. You’ll see a list of common actions pop up when you do this fancy little press-and-hold maneuver on one of the line items.
Tumblr media
Give one a try in your budget! We have a feeling one (or both) of these will soon become part of your regular setup in your budget.
We’re always cooking up all sorts of new features to make your budgeting life even easier. See a list of what’s coming up next.

What Apple Deep Fusion iOS13 iPhone 11 camera tricks really look like
CLOSE
Tumblr media
One of the perks of downloading the free iOS 13.2 software update, if you have an iPhone 11, 11 Pro or Pro Max, is getting to Apple’s Deep Fusion bag of camera tricks.
First announced in September as “computational photography mad science,” you’re basically getting a super multiple exposure that can produce a way sharper image.
That’s the promise anyhow. In our tests around the USA TODAY offices Tuesday, it was very hard to see the difference, unless we zoomed in all the way, and even then, it was subtle.
Example below: Take a good look at the lemon, and notice the sharpness and detail on the skin of the fruit, then compare to the shot below. Notice how much sharper the first one is?
Tumblr media
A lemon highly cropped and shot in iPhone 11 Pro “Deep Fusion” for extra clarity (Photo: Jefferson Graham)
Tumblr media
The same lemon, shot on iPhone 11 Pro without Deep Fusion. (Photo: Jefferson Graham)
Deep Fusion is one of those maddening Apple automatic tools. You can’t click a button to get it, nor will you see any messaging that you’re now using it. It’s just there.
Maybe.
It’s not aimed at producing amazing shots in super low-light. That’s reserved for Apple’s Night Mode, which like Deep Fusion is available only for the 11 Pro and Pro Max cameras.
Night Mode also takes multiple images and merges them together to produce a bright shot in darkness; but unlike Deep Fusion, you get told by Apple that you’re using Night Mode because the iPhone instructs you to stand still while taking the photo.
To tell the difference between Deep Fusion and the regular camera, you go to Settings, Camera, click on “Photos Capture Outside the Frame,” and that will knock out Deep Fusion.
While it’s hard to see huge differences, zoom in on ultra-close-ups, as with these images below of rugs at the USA TODAY offices. See the detail?
Tumblr media

The same rug, without Deep Fusion (Photo: Jefferson Graham)
Deep Fusion works most often with the telephoto portrait lens and in medium to low light situations with the wide lens. Like with Night Mode, which doesn’t work on the new ultra-wide lens, neither does Deep Fusion.
The software tricks won’t work on older iPhones. But as with Portrait mode and other new features introduced over the past few years, new ones tend to work their way down to older phones eventually.
To get the software, go to Settings, General, Software Update, and be sure to turn on Wi-Fi to begin the download.

— Filipe Espósito (@filipeesposito) October 27, 2019
The best use of Deep Fusion seems to be images that pop with lots of texture, like rugs, sweaters, beards, cats, dogs and the like.
Readers: Do you have an updated iPhone 11? We’d love to see your Deep Fusion images. Post me a note on Twitter, where I’m @jeffersongraham.

Just Press Record 35 for iOS 13
We’re delighted to announce a new version of Just Press Record that takes advantage of some of the cool new features in iOS 13.
1. Dark Mode
One the most popular additions to iOS13 is the system-wide Dark Mode.  Just Press Record has had its own dark mode for some time but now it will follow your light vs. dark system setting.
2. Voice Control
Voice Control is a great new Accessibility feature in iOS 13 that makes it possible to control your device with just your voice.  Just Press Record is fully Voice Control aware and you can navigate and access all the features of the app just by talking to it.
3. Context Menus
A new feature for power users, context menus give you access to additional functionality without cluttering the interface with extra buttons and controls.  You can now re-transcribe a recording, delete a folder and so much more.
Tumblr media
Just Press Record is available for all devices running iOS 13 or later and costs $4.99 on the App Store.  No ads, no in-app-purchases, no subscriptions - just a one-off purchase at a fair price.  The update is free of charge for existing users.

What you need to know about the new iOS 13: Ipad Changes & Dark Mode
The iOS 13 release, announced last month, came with a lot of exciting changes. The list of the new changes is fairly long, that is why we have created a series of 4 weekly blogs, that over the next month will give you an overview of the main changes, their impact on user experience, the implications for marketers and some early adoption stats.
Here at Localytics, we make sure to stay on top of all the latest and greatest changes that affect the market & our customers. Today’s blog will focus on two of the hottest announcements — iPad changes and dark mode, and their impacts on the user experience and marketers.
iPad Changes
First, Apple is introducing Multi-Window support. Multi-Window is something that will really improve the Multitasking capability that iPad enables today. With Multitasking in the past, a user could open up two different apps at the same time in the foreground. This was great for transferring information between apps, or referencing information from one app while editing content in another. But what was sorely lacking was the ability to do the same thing with one app. iOS 13 changes all of that:
The above image shows a file browsing app. With multi-window support, you can now inspect the overall file structure while viewing the contents of an individual folder, allowing for more informed file copying and moving. This option allows for much quicker decision making by the user, as much more information is surfaced to them at once.
Additionally, if the user backgrounds the app, those multi-window views are retained, as they are stored in the app switcher as separate instances of the same app, allowing you to come back to what you had been working on:
In addition to Multi-Window support, Apple also announced an exciting new endeavor: Project Catalyst, which will impact App teams. This initiative aims to take existing iPad apps and allow them to function as first-party apps on the Mac. Developers simply need to package their apps as XCFrameworks (a change which we here at Localytics managed to accomplish with a barebones app in as fast as half a day) and then submit it to the app store.
This change was surprisingly easy, as most of the code for our iOS app just worked for Mac without modification. The implications are really powerful. Instead of needing to build out a webpage, or a completely separate MacOS app, developers can now use the same codebase to enable a rich experience on the Mac.
Impact on Localytics’ Clients
The new Multi-Window feature affects the user experience and the way we think about apps on the iPad. For years the iPad has been considered to be more powerful and more usable than a phone. Now, that Apple is putting additional focus on the multitasking feature, iPads are becoming more comparable to laptops. At the same time, iPads are getting even more user-friendly as the new features give users the freedom to move around the screen and handle a wider number of tasks.  Additionally, Safari on iPad will serve viewers the desktop version of apps, rather than the mobile version to make for a smoother browsing experience. The browser will get new keyboard shortcuts and a download manager.
Project Catalyst enables a number of wonderful improvements.  Because the app will be run as a first-party app on the Mac, the app will now support a number of things which browsers simply can’t offer. MacOS apps will be able to support offline use, registering for native push messaging, and will modify a number of native Mac features such as the menu bars, context menus, touch bars and hover events that are difficult or unsupported on the web browsers, just to name a few.
Dark Mode
Apple is adding dark mode capabilities system-wide, now users can adjust their “Display and Brightness” to include dark themes which display dark backgrounds and white text. This has been a popular request from the Apple community for years and the company is implementing this feature device-wide, rather than only having dark mode supported by certain apps.
Dark mode has a number of exciting benefits to the end-user. The new darker themed backgrounds tend to be easier on the eyes, as the screen is lit up less. Additionally, as the device has to light up fewer pixels on the screen, the battery should last longer. This brings more flexibility for the user to set their preferences, and apply it easily to their entire iOS device. Additionally, an API lets third‑party developers implement Dark Mode in their apps.
    Impact on Localytics’ Clients
Our UI specific features will need to support dark mode, this specifically impacts Inbox and In-App. Both In-App and Inbox function by displaying HTML files in the app, uploaded through the Localytics Dashboard. These HTML files will need to be built by our clients using the proper CSS media queries to change their display based on the device’s system settings. Our In-App Builder (IAB) will have support for both light and dark mode capabilities built into it in the near future to aid in this integration.
Additionally, our Inbox product displays a list of qualified Inbox campaigns to the user. For most customers, this list is written in native code. This code, like all UI code in your apps, will need to be updated by our clients to support the best practices put forth by Apple. If your app uses the default InboxListView, make sure to update your app to SDK 5.7 to ensure proper color contrast in dark mode.
To learn about additional changes to IOS13 remember to check out our blog next week. In the coming blog, we will focus on the new Location Permissions features and their impact on users and marketers.

Screenshots of Apple's upcoming iOS 13 software update have been leaked by 9to5Mac.

As rumored the iPhone is finally getting a a system wide Dark Mode.

Dark Mode can be enabled in the Settings app or with an option in Control Center, for quick access to the feature. On the Home screen, the only noticeable change is the Dock, which adopts a vibrant dark background instead of the light one. It’s possible that Apple will be including new wallpapers that work better in Dark Mode with the new OS. ————————————— iOS 13 will be announced at WWDC event on June 3rd ========================== #ios13 #appleios13 #ios13update #ios13 #ios #appleios #iosdarkmode #ios13darkmode #iphonedarkmode #wwdc2019 #wwdc #applewwdc2019 #applewwdc #apple #applenews #applenew #appleupgrade #appleupdate #appleupdates #apple2019 #newapple #newsapple #appleleaks #appleevent #appleevent2019 #appleupgrades #2019applenews #2019apple (at London, United Kingdom) https://www.instagram.com/p/ByBurpygIvK/?igshid=1wdjk8ij3rk5s
