MY BLORBO LIKE MY MHA OC BABY BOY BLORBO??? HE IS THE BOY!!! THE ONE AND ONLY!!! MY BOY!!!!

his name is isagani kanekomōri! nicknamed isa for short ♡ he (in relation to deku's class at least) is a 2nd year support course student! throughout 3/4ths of his first year, he was actually a hero course student under aizawa until he was suddenly kicked a few months before graduation. his quirk is a mutant type quirk wherein he has features very similar to the golden crowned fox bat!! hence his quirk's name; mega-bat

isa was born in the philippines and sometime later in life moved to japan when his mother died and he had to be put under his dads care. he was eventually recruited (coerced) into the hero commission's youth training program (similar to hawks) where he was trained and also mistreated severely. his wings were torn off (wing membrane completely, structure partially), leaving only nubs and scars on his arms and sides.

eventually he was deemed too damaged to continue his program and thus released. without any purpose or idea for what he wants to do with his life, isa signed up to join UA to which he passed the practical entrance exams for the hero course with flying (heh) colors.

he was a good and studious pupil for aizawas hero class and definitely did have potential. however he was also very cagey with attitude issues + a lack of motivation for becoming a hero because to him it was just "what was expected of him". he outlasted most of his other peers in the hero class who were kicked out gradually until 3 months before graduation.

aizawa, knowing how detrimental and dangerous that mindset could be, kicked him out. partially to save the boy from the pain of going down this path and partially to give him something to be motivated for. he told isa he wasnt good enough or prepared to be a hero and transferred him to the support course.

out of both spite and the sudden renewed interest in becoming a ""proper"" hero following his rejection from the hero course, isagani found a deeper purpose and desire for himself to improve and be the hero aizawa thought he couldnt be. he aims to surpass eraserhead someday and become a hero not just because it was what was expected of him, but because finally he wanted to.

isagani is mostly vegetarian! doesn't eat much meat and primarily focuses on fruit. he will eat meat if its the only thing available, but it always gives him extreme stomach aches and indigestion

he has GREAT eyesight. one of the many traits he shares w hatsume mei

isa's kind of a loner... he's not like. disliked or anything. but he's rather standoffish and doesnt have many friends. most of them are in other courses and/or levels

he annoys aizawa. like. actively. on purpose. comes into his class every month or so to loudly declare when he's learned something new or achieved something that helps him become a better hero. he thinks it spites aizawa for making the wrong decision in kicking him out. joke's in isagani tho bc aizawa is actually kinda proud. he hides it tho for isa's pride.

everyone is positive he has a crush on the teacher (including aizawa himself). isa remains Head Empty and One Track Minded asf.

he respects shouji and tokoyami the most in class 1-A. youd think he also looks up to hawks for undergoing similar experiences and being tokoyami's mentor but no. isa's terrified of him

some time in third year, he's invited to join a laboratory wherein they dissect and open those trigger bombs from the WHM movie. an (unspecified) accident happens wherein a small concentrate of it literally blows up in isa's face. the trigger bomb gas goes off and forcibly Upgrades his quirk which regrows his wings on his back into their own stronger and fully formed appendages. isagani upon going pro now has TWO sets of wings (aka his handmade mechanical ones that are supported by his arms and flank, and the trigger-bomb regrown and improved first ones from his back)

initially, i thought it would be fucking HILARIOUS if isa sounded somewhere between casey mongillo's karkat and kirito from sao abridged -- so thats what he kinda sounds like in my head when im making memes about him

but if i had the ability for him to be animated seriously?? OH MAN my dream cast for him would be ofc a fellow filipino and no other than dante basco!!! i think his voice fits isa nicely and the rasp esp in his role as zuko feels appropriate lol -- for his japanese va, IK IK IK YUKI KAJI IS ALREADY TODOROKI BUT LIKE... his voice as kenma??? IDEAL

if we dont have the budget to use him twice then i also think kengo kawanishi as kiriyama from 'march comes in like a lion' (GOOD SHOW, RECOMMEND IT) is perfect for isa!!

ok so! ive expanded a bit more on isa's story SO i can confidently(ish) answer more questions about my king 💖💖

isa isnt a caffeine addict despite looking like it and seeming like the type of person to live on coffee! he actually dislikes coffee usually and will opt for tea or fruit smoothies instead

that being said, isa is one of those people who gets drunk off of coffee which is HILARIOUS since his alcohol tolerance is insane

isa can cook! isa likes cooking! and baking! it calms him down and while he doesnt do it often, he used to secretly bake cookies when he was up really late at night during finals week / project week and leave them in his classmates lockers and desks anonymously.

his support class knows its him but pretends they dont for his sake caus he seems so happy being a mischievious little baking demon. his original hero class really didnt know it was him though, and aizawa is to this day the only person from then who knew.

isa often SAYS he's musically inept and doesnt know any instruments which is mostly true except that he can sing!

its a secret though and he doesnt think he can sing either. its a remnant from kareokes he used to have with his close knit neighborhood in the philippines and was buried and forgotten when he was taken in by the heroes commission

sometimes though. if ur lucky enough. you might just be privy to the sight of isa humming unfamiliar but nostalgic tunes under his breath ♡

Sakuragi making Isa a little robobat. 🥺 💞💖 Then, the robobat becomes friends, with all the little robots. 🥺🥺💝

She has at the least two big Robots. Alpha and Beta. Beta was her first try, at making more complex designs for her creations. He is really short tempered, and resembles Aizawa, in a way. Alpha is a more upgraded version of Beta, but his personality is completely different. She made him based on Present Mic. (She likes their dynamic.) Her own tiny bot, Info-chan, is there to usually do what a schedule does, and collecting data. She is very scary, sometimes.

I made a few changes on her, since last time she has been talked, her name is Sakuragi. She is the child of the owner of a fashion company, that occasionally provides materials for hero costumes. I changed her quirk to be 'Giving life to anything she touches', which makes her have to use gloves. She likes making little robots, has some of her own, and her current goal is making some for the students of the hero course. (And gradually from other classes as well).

Honestly, that plan sounds incredible, she is enthusiastic enough to do it. Big boys rule the world. 🥺

i can see her and isa spending lunch together from time to time 🥺💖 making tiny little robotic birds from scraps and isa quietly asking sakuragi if she can use her quirk and bring them to life 😭 and playing w them for a bit until the bell rings and they both set them free outside school !!!!!

introducing my hero course reject student, isagani kanekomōri! based off the unexplored part of bnha wherein aizawa's expelled entire classes of heroes. he now studies as a support student who attempts to come back as a hero out of sheer spite. he's filipino/japanese and i love him v v much <3<3

i also am trying a new rough and semi lineless coloring style, so maybe yall will see this style again in future pieces :3c
