This is one of those "Memories" that I often find using Google Photos. Bast the Kitten is on the left, and the late and great Kore the Calico is on the right. Kore was the Beta and technically, Durga the Cat is now the Beta. Kore was the first cat to welcome both Durga and Bast to the household. Kore is with Bastet, the Ancient Egyptian "Mother of all Cats," beyond the Rainbow Bridge, happy, free and no longer in pain. I love all of my cats, and I shall not deny that I eapecially love and adore #isisthealphafemale. I think she was my very first #felinefamiliar and she certainly runs my household (funny, as I AM the one who pays the bills, but the lease might as well list HER as "head of the household). Here we have #korethecalico my first #rescuedstray and #bastthekitten When Bast first came into the household, none of the cats were thrilled. However, Kore (another name for the #goddess #persephone ) was the first one to warm up to her; they even nap together.
