percy & jason, these bros always !! like i've said on a few of these, it was such a potential between these two to have a great relationship, what with the two leaders of the camps and understanding one another and canon dropped the ball.

klaus & damon, i love the banter between these two sometimes, like they're such dicks but that's the fun of it! also kind of love the "less favoured brother" vibe that klaus likes to taunt damon with but also feels himself.

klaus & katherine, so i've never read the books but i've read a little up on it and know a few of the finer points. interested in hearing more though ?? about book katherine's personality and bond with klaus. also love love love klaus & katherine in the show. like the dynamic there, the abused becoming the abuser, and the cycle of running from their tormentor, it's all just *chefs kiss*.

Airport j.a.

(Sometime late 2017)

You and Jack have been dating for about 9 months now. You lived in Pennsylvania near his family, meanwhile he was in Los Angeles with the band. You had grown up together, eventually deciding you had feelings for each other and the rest is history.

Now, you were waiting anxiously with his family at the airport for him to come home. None of you had seen him for at least three months, and he was finally coming home for thanksgiving. Isla stood next to you, one hand in yours and the other gripping the gate in front of her in anticipation. Your eyes scanned the door in front of you eagerly, the big “do not enter” signs mocking you.

You noted people walking towards you, silently praying that this was his flight.

“This should be his,” You heard Kristin mutter behind you. Ava bit her lip next to you in excitement. Your foot tapped against the tile as your heart settled in your throat. Finally, after months of FaceTime and phone calls, you would actually be able to hold him in your arms again. Finally see his face in person. Finally hold his hand again.

The people couldn’t move fast enough.

The crowd continued to come, you continued to search. Isla squeezed your hand excitedly, pointing forward.

“There he is!”

Your eyes followed where her little finger pointed and you couldn’t stop the large grin that spread across your face.

He must have spotted all of you, as well, because his tired expression was replaced by a slow growing smile and a sudden urgency in his walk. You all walked down the barrier until the end when you’d be able to hug him. Once you hit the end and he was within distance, Isla dropped your hand, springing on her brother.

He caught her easily, wrapping his arms tightly around her. Ava ran forward, joining their hug. You heard muffled greetings and laughs from them. You had to grip the edge of the barrier to keep yourself from launching on him. You wanted so badly to just hold him, but you also wanted his family to be able to see him first.

He set Isla down, kissing her head strongly. He looked between his mom and you eagerly.

“You go ahead,” you mumbled to Kristin, keeping your eyes on Jack. “I want you to be able to hug him first.”

Kristin laughed. “I’m recording, honey. You go hug your boy.”

Jack opened his arms impatiently.

“Are either of you going to hug me or am i going to stand here like an idiot all day?”

Your grin spread wider, if that was possible, as you took the few long strides to him. His smile resembled yours completely as his arms reached for you. You wrapped your arms tightly around his neck, your cheeks pressing together. His arms clasped tightly around your waist and he leaned back, lifting you off the ground to which you wrapped your legs around his waist.

“Hi, baby,” he mumbled into your hair.

“Hi,” you whisper. He kissed your shoulder, leaning forward. You set your feet on the ground, but didn’t let go of him in your hug.

He gave you a big squeeze, rubbing your back softly.

“I missed you,” he whispered.

“Mhm,” you agreed.

He rested his hands on your waist, pulling you away. His smile is the widest you’ve ever seen and it takes everything in you not to cry. Your hands find his cheeks, rubbing circles as his thumbs do the same on your hips.

It’s a battle as both of your eyes traced each other’s faces as if you might have forgotten soemthing. Finally, his eyes landed on your lips and he gave a small nod. You smiled a bit wider.

He leaned forward, placing his lips softly on yours and wrapping his arms tightly around your waist.

His family awwws as he placed a few more kisses on your lips. You pulled away, pleased with his hello.

Finally, when you pull apart from each other Kristin enveloped him in a hug, kissing his cheek.

With his one hand in Islas, and the other in yours, you all made your way to the exit.

“You don’t know how good it is to be with my favorite girls again,” Jack said, letting out a tired sigh. “I just wish Syd was here, too.”

“Me, too,” Ava agreed.

“Me, three,” you agreed.

Jack squeezes your hand, causing you to smile up at him.

“Welcome home, babe,” you said softly. He brings your knuckles to his lips, kissing softly.

“Thanks, baby.”

I smiled exhaustively at my boyfriend whose arms were wrapped around my body warmly. I turned around inside of them and kissed his rosy cheeks. His eyes opened and a smile appeared on his face.

“merry christmas baby,” he looked absolutely adorable when he woke up. it made me smile to think that i was spending the holidays with the love of my life.

“merry christmas” i replied and after a few moments, i wriggled out of his arms, standing up in the cool air of my boyfriend’s shared room with his roommates. although, we were now alone in here.

zach sat up a little bit, watching as i walked towards the bathroom to brush my teeth for the day. i washed my face down and brushed through my hair, pulling it back into a messy bun once i was finished. when i reentered the room, zach was out of bed, getting ready to go into the bathroom next.

i questioned myself, deciding to just stay in my snowman pajamas that my mother and father had shipped to california for me when i told them that it was too expensive for me to fly home this christmas. my two sisters were both with their families visiting my parents too and the house would be extremely overcrowded for zach and i.

zach came out of the bathroom and i admired the cute boxers he wore around his waist line that made me smile. i watched as he rummaged through his drawers to find some pants that would eventually cover the santa-faced boxer shorts that i’d bought him in the holiday spirit when i recognized that he hadn’t any christmas pajamas.

i listened into the house as we exited the empty room, recognizing that everyone had already been awake. there were footsteps rushing towards the beautiful and tall tree that sat in the corner of the living room. the tv had been moved out of the way when we’d all originally found the tree, so that we could get it set up nicely. after several nights of decorating, being distracted by christmas movies, and lots of hot cocoa, the tree looked gorgeous with decor. 

i handed zach a smile while he walked into the kitchen, pulling two mugs down from the cabinets. he poured some coffee into his and then started the process of making my hot chocolate, due to my ill feeling towards coffee (something disapproved by jonah). 

after several minutes of our flirting whilst the hot drink was made, zach and i made our way to join the rest of the house in the living room. christina and corbyn were entangled in the corner, looking all too cute and cuddly while they chatted. jack was sitting with his sisters who’d come out to visit, and Jonah and Daniel were talking, daniel looking exhausted while jonah sipped what was likely his fifth cup of coffee. 

Isla screeched, which made me smile and leave my boyfriend to go and sit with her, “finally! it’s about time” 

I watched as everyone passed out their gift to each other. I found my stack of presents under the tree, an assortment from each boy. Everything I’d gotten was adorable and useful and made me happy.

Zach opened the things I’d gotten for him, smiling with it. He’d gotten me a cute traveling bag that he’d claimed to be for when i traveled on tour with him. My boyfriend also got me a plethora of merch items that i’d been begging for. Upon the pile was also the sweetest necklace with the word babygirl along the chain that i immediately put on. 

i wrapped my arms tightly around zach, who laughed with our embrace. He was happy with the gifts I’d gotten him, as far as i could tell which made me happy.

Christina was very happy as I nuzzled into my boyfriend’s arms, ready to start christmas. The morning was beautiful and amazing, but we’ve got people on their way over. This house was in need of sprucing up before two pm when we’ve all got to pitch in for a christmas dinner.

I knew that Jack and Sydnie were down to help me, and Ava swore she made good brownies(to which Jack agreed). Christina and I were on the sides, such as mac and cheese, string beans, and mashed potatoes. Reluctantly, we’d put Jonah and Svea in charge of cooking the ham. Daniel was trusted with making sure everything was running smoothly and I did not trust Zach with any of the cooking. He is absolutely adorable and talented, but not in the kitchen. Knowing my beautiful boyfriend, the kitchen would be in flames by the end of the night.

I stood up and stuck my hand out to him, “we should go get ready” 

“we haven’t finished yet!” Zach exclaimed and I shot him a funny look, staring around the room at the ripped paper and the open boxes. 

“zach, everything’s been opened,” i look around the room at the not-so-subtle faces.

“i have one more present for you,” he gave me a smile, “reese, you wanna help me go get it?” he looked towards his younger sister who eagerly nodded her head, “it’s in jack and daniel’s room” 

confusion covered my face as i watched the two siblings wander through the hallway. i looked over to the others who just shook their head.

“isla, you’ve gotta know what’s going on?” i question.

i watched as jack sent her a look that made her giggle and she shook her head, “i have no idea” 

“christina?” i looked towards my best friend who just shook her head.

“be patient, he’s been gone for like ten seconds,” Daniel reminded me but i couldn’t help but flip about what he could have possibly gotten me.

Everything he’s given me is enough. Honestly, the gift of spending christmas eve and christmas day with him is enough for me, i didn’t need any gifts. He’s one of the most important people in my life. He’s believed in me when no one else has and to think that he could’ve spent even more money me was unbearable and amazing.

After the agonizing next moments, Reese turned the corner with a cute smile on her face that rested my anxiety. i smiled at the six year old and she giggled. my eyes drifted towards the much taller guy who stood with an adorable little pomeranian in his arms. i couldn’t help but squeal and rush over to my boyfriend as he held the precious little animal in his arms. 

everyone in the room was smiling as i took the beautiful trimmed pomeranian into my arms and looked up at my boyfriend, “this is ginger. she’s a six year old pomeranian rescue” 

i looked at my boyfriend lovingly as i carefully pet her soft fur, “you did not” 

“you were talking about how lonely it gets here when we’re gone and i knew that you wanted to rescue. And there’s that pomeranian that you always show me pictures of, so when I went to the rescue place and they had ginger, i thought that you might love her” 

“Zach, this is the best gift anyone’s ever gotten for me,” I wrapped my arms around him, careful of the adorable dog in my arms, “thank you” 

“she’s kinda adorable when she sleeps” Jack told me, “just a warning” 

i giggle sitting down on the ground, setting her down in front of me. she wags her beautiful little tail, nuzzling her head into my christmas pajamas, “did she stay in your room last night?” 

i looked towards the two boys and daniel looked overwhelmed, while jack stared at me and then towards his younger sister, “ava cuddled with her all night” 

“she gives really nice cuddles,” Ava agreed with her brother’s statement.

“ginger” i sweetly called her name as she wandered around the room. she looked up at me, hopping her way over, her legs clinging together whilst she walks. 

i let her lick my fingers as i look up at my boyfriend with the craziest look. he smiled and sat down, playing with ginger as well. 

this was a christmas for the books.
