Afrika und Asien haben den Coronavirus bisher weitaus besser widerstanden als erwartet, während Europa und die USA große Probleme mit der Epidemie haben. Das ist kein Zufall, sondern liegt daran, dass die Reaktionen der afrikanischen und asiatischen Länder oft besser und gezielter wirkten.

The Common in Jordan

We at The Common were surprised to find out that Issue 6 contributor Hisham Bustani had managed to get the word out so well in his home country of Jordan.

Articles about Bustani and The Common have popped up in several Arabic news sites and while none of us on staff are familiar with the language, we couldn't be more excited.

Issue 06, the Architecture+Design was certainly our most ambitious weekly issue to date, but it gave us the opportunity to do what we love and that is collaborate.  We loved working with SCI-Arc and their outstanding alumni to celebrate their 40th anniversary.  We certainly look forward to more collaborations in the future with art schools in Los Angeles, across the country and around the world.
