Namjoon being tired asf with the fandom

Recently, Namjoon of BTS has been absolutely bashed for the dumbest reasons ever, like- this man will just breathe and these toxic ARMYs will have a problem with it. He's being more direct and straightforward with the fandom these days (which is good). He's also been replying to the weird ass baby ARMYs calling him their hubby, soulmate, boyfriend, their man etc. Lately, he's been getting bashed (again) for posting a picture of him smoking with some of his friends on his Instagram story. When he came on Weverse live, a lot of people were commenting about it, he simply told them that it's his life and he can do what he wants to do with it (my bias doing a good job here). And when he came on live after the "Bad Religion - by Frank Ocean" incident, he just told the people who were sending hate comments that he's not going to be apologizing for something he didn't do and they can go cry about it if they're taking it in a bad way. Truly, this man is doing some fandom filtering and I'm all for it. A few days ago, the military enlistment notice of Namjoon, Jimin, Jungkook and Taehyung came in. These four boys came on live just to talk with ARMY and say a goodbye before they set of for their enlistment, the whole comment section was filled with ARMYs asking about the enlistment (which is kind of valid ngl) and Namjoon told us not to come to the military camp for the security of the other soldiers (istg- this man is just so sick of the saesangs). This proves how he just knows that his fandom is going to do this, this is honestly really sad... HE IS JUST SO TIRED OF US! I'm sad because istg- because of such idiots on twitter- if he stops sharing music recs, random photo dumps, videos of nature, pictures of art museums, etc... I WILL GO VIOLENT! Seriously, he doesn't trust ARMY anymore because of K-ARMYs.

Ok last questions about ATG I promise😂 This story is like my current hyperfixation at the moment haha. In the wedding scene, the MC comes across Namjoon saying along the lines of the MC not wanting to know his dirty little secrets. He probably just meant like regular embarrassing things about Jimin, right? So has anyone ever felt like something was off with Jimin and he was obsessed with the MC? Also how the heck was he able to pull off them thinking they were in a relationship for years? Would he just casually tell them “oh yeah. I was out with Y/n right now. We had a great time.” 😂 They didn’t question why they never actually met her in person?

So yeah, Joon was referring to little embarrassing things from when they were younger. BUT, I will admit that I did intend for that to be ambiguous because istg every time I write a fic I stop and go "...what if I made this a series?" My self-control has gotten much better so that didn't happen - but I was toying with the idea of the other members also being like Jimin. So, any time you get a weird vibe from the other members in my one-shot it's probably because I was having one of those moments 😂

As for how he kept up the charade for so long - he played it off as her being shy or him not wanting to introduce her until he was certain they were in a serious enough relationship. I also think he kept that to himself for a while - like a few years later once he could trust them he brought up the MC and how long they had been together for. They definitely had questions and even teased him that she didn't exist but they kind of let it go and it just became a group inside joke,

I'm not like MAD or anything but I just NEED to take a moment to point out the hypocrisy. Because Minimoni made me soft as fck today (and so many of you too I'm sure) with Jimins little "Namjoon's very existence is enough" comment on their weekend hang out Q&A.

The absolute cutest fucking thing Istg. BUT I'm also not going to pretend like the hypocrisy of the response from jkkrs here isn't laughable either. I don't personally have my anons on right now, but I'm following a few blogs who do and who would also be getting swamped with anons at this point if this quote came from Taekook. SWAMPED. But because it's minimoni, the silence is so loud. And no, not just anons that are tkkrs, but also from jkkrs who want explanations or who are upset in some kind of way about it. And it's driving me insane.

I just. I REALLY NEED jkkrs to stop right here and ask themselves if they are one of the people who would question these words/actions if it was taekook, but doesn't think twice about it other than "adorable, I love their bond" when its minimoni.... to please sit with that. And figure out why and work on solving that issue for yourself. Work past it. Because it's a problem. I get it, the *subgroup* as they have been coined lately around here can be annoying.
