i finally got a money order for my new passport, scheduled my appointment for tomorrow, got my auto insurance printed, and set out vinegar and dish soap gnat traps to finally kill those thangs. literally so adultcore of me. everyone clap

#fr that i am glad i at least got out of the apartment ive been a real homebody for awhile #i ran into a guy from my old creative writing class with his girlfriend that i thought. wasnt real #but no she was really gorgeous and hes just some guy. kind of hilarious seeing couples like that #anyway also got drinks for my gay little minifridge #oh and finally got paid for a comm hooray!!#and i took out the trash #AND im getting some packages today #wow today is so eventful. so much going on #<- doesnt even mean that sarcastically this is way more than i do on an average day #these are all really little. stupid things. but my life used to be so stagnant #maybe it was because i was a child but. all of these things would have scared me to do on my own #if i keep talking im going to get sappy about how i thought i would never get here. like #never live past 18 and never do stuff like this just. normal stuff.#there was a point in my life where the thought of printing important documents made me physically ill #and running into people i know outside? HAH #no way to navigate those social interactions except stare at my feet #idk what changed. i guess i just grew #and im still growing. heart emoji #if i can do these things while im 20 imagine what i can do when im 30 and 40 and 50 etc etc #i can do things on my own. i dont have to grin and bear it. i can put out the gnat traps and kill the gnats #yanno. anyway!

living as a disabled person is So Fun bc i constantly get to wonder if people in my life think i am faking it & secretly think i am a horrible person bc of that

#the answer is Most Likely No (in the group of people i care about/am super close with)#probably yes for like. classmates & stuff bc the General Public is. Not the best toward disabled people!#tourettes is also just a very mocked disability and i have almost never seen it talked about in a serious light aside from Other ppl with t #even If/When i try to explain the more serious side of ts it is almost Always just seen as a joke. So it kinda sucks !#idk. This may be worse because i live in the south (womp womp)#but it is. Annoying. They believe i have tourettes they just seem to think it doesnt impact me at all (& are uncomfortable if i say it does #like ah yes. i just have the disability without being disabled.#<- when i try to tell people i am terrified of driving and their advice is just “you'll get used to it!”#motherfucker even when im used to it my hands still like to move on their own if i feel even an ounce of stress 😭#<- literally was fighting for my Life the other day bc my dorm room was like 1 degree off after i got back from a social event #anyways. thats all #tourettes

#people tend to scoff in disbelief whenever i say i'm introverted because i'm a very talkative and even loud person #and i love to talk for hours jfjfjfkf #but the thing is??? i still get socially exhausted and need to be alone to recharge #it's just that some people are the exception - being or talking with them doesn't drain my social battery #but in social settings where there's a lot of ppl around i can get really drained for no apparent reason and then get very annoyed when ppl #try to engage me in conversation #idk it just feels so invalidating when ppl (even introverted friends) tell me i'm extroverted because i'm extroverted WITH THEM :'0 #because idk some definitions of extrovert say that they gain energy from social interactions and events but that just doesnt happen for me #if it's me hanging out or talking with one person who belongs to the 'inexplicably doesnt drain my social battery' category then it fits ig #but idk #maybe this is why i like having online friends and hanging out in tiny groups or with just one person jgkfdk #because i'm completely exhausted from being in a huge crowd for a lot of yesterday and i'm lowkey dreading tomorrow cos it'll happen again #ramble
