I was re-reading the KNB Replace novel and Extra Game, and something I noticed was that in the Replace novel story where Nijimura meets Himuro in LA for the first time, it mentions that Nijimura tried to distance himself from the GoM + Kuroko, and that's why he would only hear about what they're doing from other people. But in Extra Game, when Kiyoshi is talking about the Jabberwock vs Vorpal Swords match, Nijimura says that Akashi told him a little bit about it. Going by the timeline, it implies that Nijimura didn't give any of the GoM or Kuroko a way to contact him after he graduated (or maybe he did but he didn't talk to them much), but as all the former Teiko members got back together and started hanging out again post-Winter Cup, they managed to somehow get back in touch with him and now they give him life updates from time to time, which I think is super cute.

Here is a taste of some of my WIPs because I have no idea when they'll come out
HFL: Between Life and Death (Unspoken/Undying) Progress: 90% Summary:
Two swords walk the same unfamiliar path towards their saniwa’s affections.
Emotions like these are strong enough to start wars, but these tools of war have no intention of destroying the peace within the citadel. Not while they still don’t fully understand these new feelings and not while their saniwa still struggles with the ghosts that haunt her.
If she finds happiness in the both of them, they will take their places beside her and walk together in perpetuity with her…
Even when their hearts no longer beat.
AkaSani: Rust Progress: 70% Summary:
The citadel was attacked and now sinks into the blood that poured from those who once called it home.
Akashi finds himself in a motionless, sightless world where nothing changes except for the growing rust that corrodes his blade and spreads through his body more and more each day.
The fates of the others are unknown to him, but in his pain and confusion, there is only one person he calls out to.
Aruji…
Currently untitled (guess the pairing) Progress: 50% Excerpt:
He reached out to touch her cheek and, just as she had always done, she closed her eyes and leaned into his hand. Her warmth was gone. Her light was gone. But she still burned for him.
HFL: Cold Flame Progress: 20% Excerpt:
Now, with his new body, she, too, was able to experience the world on the physical plane and would grant Nikkari some of her power in exchange for a taste of fresh strawberries or a breath of air on a warm spring day.
Even the stirrings in his heart he felt when he was in Hazuki’s company may have been her influence. She was so hungry to feel an emotion other than anger, hungry to be loved after countless centuries of roaming the mountain forests. But Hazuki was off limits.
And then there's this mess
Tumblr media
And something even worse
Tumblr media
These two are the lowest on my priority list
I'd say they're a palate cleanser for my usual stuff but they. Really. Are not.
Especially with what I'm planning to do with Lobelia
And considering the only swords I'm comfortable writing are ones I call my faves...
Tumblr media
There are two more big WIPs that I can't say anything about yet. Plus so many other ideas but I'm just here

i will love you always.
request: hi! may i request a part 2 for the akashi hcs where the reader went to seirin after junior high? since they’re going out now, akashi became more jealous of reader’s teammates (i.e. izuki, kagami, furi, hell even kuroko) because he’s worried that reader will leave him for someone who,,, idk doesn’t have a bad past with her. thank you!
# tags: headcanon; seirin!au; current (long distance) relationship; manager/nurse!y/n; romance; mild angst/drama; but also fluff; sfw
includes: female reader ft. seijuurou akashi & seirin team {knb}
part zero {click} & part one {click} & part three {click}
author’s note: seijuurouuuuuu, bby! thank you cute anon for this request!
Tumblr media
↘ Akashi trusted you a lot, but the trust couldn’t stop his fear and jealousy for you. The captain of Rakuzan High School basketball team knew that you would never cheat on him, he knew perfectly well that your eyes were on him and only on him, and he knew that you never lied when you two were talking live or on the phone.
↘ However, he didn’t trust the boys who were around you for almost half of the day. Seijuurou knew he could rely on you, but could he rely on the Seirin basketball team who liked you more than they should?
↘ Living on the two ends of Japan and studying in two different schools was hard, it was a sad fact.
↘ For Seijuurou, however, it was even worse seeing notifications on his own phone; these tons of notifications from various social media on which you were tagged. Sometimes it was Izuki’s Instagram, sometimes Furihata and Koganei’s Facebook post, and sometimes even Kagami’s Snapchat. You were clearly having a great time and also a good relationship, with an emphasis on Kuroko who has been your closest friend, for better or worse. You had a lovely friendship with everyone in Seirin; from the beginning and possibly to the end. Not like with Akashi and this one (long lasting) moment at the Junior High and until the match against Seirin High during the Winter Cup competition.
↘ An unpleasant shudder ran through the red-haired man’s spine as he thought about how your own friendship had ended for a moment, all because of those stupid and immature games in ‘Who gets the most points’ or the sick ideals of his father, who, fortunately, some time ago realized many of his mistakes. But still...
↘ Seijuurou still felt bad about what he did to others, especially you, during his last year at Teikou Junior High.
↘ His mind was obscured by not nice thoughts, so when his phone rang, he didn’t even glance at the colorful screen and who was making the call. He picked up quickly, still feeling the weird weight on his heart.
↘ “Yes?”
↘ “Sei-kun, my baby.” Your warm voice reached to his mind and he immediately shook his head and exhaled under his breath. “Something happened?”
↘ “Why are you asking? I’m fine, love.” He frowned and you sighed loudly.
↘ “You haven’t written back to me for a long time. I was worried. I will ask again; if you are alright, Sei?”
↘ The male teenager smiled slightly, slowly thinking about what to say to you. Truth? Once again, a lie that he’s ‘okay’? Change the topic? Or maybe...
↘ “... Y/N, be honest to me, please. Are you feel okay and safe with me? Am... Am I a good boyfriend for you?” Your beloved one’s shy voice reached to your ear, and you frowned a bit, as if not knowing if you understood the question correctly.
↘ “Of course I am. Silly question.” You laughed lightly. “I don’t understand why you wanted to be sure of this, you know I love you with all my heart.”
↘ “Yes, I know, but... You also have a good relation with your teammates and I was wondering... maybe you would feel better with someone who didn’t behave like me in Junior High School. I don’t want you to get tired or be sad because of someone like me.”
↘ You took a deep breath, clenching your free hand into a fist. “‘With someone like you’? Sei. Don’t kidding to me like that.” You started with a soft voice tone, then added a new card on the laptop screen, quickly going to the train ticket page. “You pissed me off.”
↘ “Huh?”
↘ “You pissed me off. You’re gonna get punished for this stupid thing. And it will be soon. I’m going to you.”
↘ “Wait, what? You don’t have to come here, Y/N.”
↘ “Well, I have to. I have to show you that I love you no matter what happened. Let’s stop thinking about the past and focus on the future, Sei-kun. I love you and my good relations with the Seirin team is still not at the same level which I’m with you. I love you, they are just my friends. And you are my boyfriend, my everything. And I’ll show it to you when I get to see you... Tomorrow is Friday, so I’ll book tickets for 4pm and be in Kyoto at night.”
↘ Akashi swallowed the lump forming in his throat, then smiled softly, feeling that his heart warming up.
↘ “I’ll come for you on the platform. Thank you.”
↘ “Anything for you, baby. I will love you always, so don’t think about that nonsense anymore. Better tell me about your training. I prefer when you are happy and talk about the things you like...”
↘ “I also prefer it when you are happy, love. I’m sorry to upset you. As for my training...”

heya!! i love your writing and i’m glad request are open!! i recently got glasses and i really really don’t like the way they look on me :(. i was thinking maybe you could write hc’s for gom + kagami telling their s/o that they shouldn’t be insecure about their glasses?? thank you (๑>◡<๑). (i’m sorry this is such a weird request haha)
Awh it’s not weird at all! I bet you look great :) I hope you like this x
Headcanons: GOM + Kagami with an s/o who’s insecure about their glasses
Kuroko
Kuroko thought that you looked adorable in your new glasses
You absolutely hated them though, so you avoided eye contact when you greeted him at school because you felt embarrassed
He quickly noticed though
“The glasses look cute on you, Y/N-kun,” he said with a soft smile right after greeting you
“Really? I hate them. They look strange on me,” you sighed
Kuroko held your hand tight and placed a kiss on your forehead, taking you by surprise
“They don’t look strange at all; you look beautiful as always. Maybe you just need to get used to it,” he said reassuringly
He didn’t have to say much for you to feel better about yourself
He just had this look in his eyes that was so genuine and kind that gave his words much more meaning
Before you knew it, you had a huge smile plastered across your face and you had moved on from your uncertainty
You didn’t think too much about it afterwards
But if you ever felt insecure about your glasses, you could count on Kuroko to always be there for you to make you feel better
Midorima
A fellow glasses boy himself
He didn’t really understand why you were so insecure about your glasses
He thought you looked great
He was also lowkey happy to be matching with you
“Don’t you think they look weird on me?”
“Not in the slightest. You shouldn’t hate them so much. You always look nice to me. In fact, you look better in glasses than I do, which isn’t fair because I got them first,” he huffed jokingly
Hearing him say that made you giggle
“I know you’re trying to make me feel better, but there’s no need to lie. You’re the better looking one.”
“I don’t think you wanna argue with me on this one. I will annihilate you,” Midorima said, completely straight-faced which only made you laugh more
He was right— you didn’t want to argue with him because he had won almost every debate between the two of you
You also knew that he truly thought your glasses looked good on you, which lifted your mood a bit
Now that the two of you had glasses, you’d coordinate your outfits together because you were that couple
You definitely felt more confident about your glasses thanks to him
Kise
This boy is like an energetic puppy— he gets excited over every single thing you do
So of course, when you got glasses, he was all over you
“Y/N-cchi! Those glasses are adorable! I love them!” he called out to you, eyes lighting up the moment he saw you
“I don’t really like them, they make my face look weird.”
His huge smile quickly turned into a pout
“Huh? Why would you say that? They look so cute on you! I mean, anything looks cute on you. You’re Y/N-cchi: the cutest of them all!” Kise blabbered cheerily
He never failed to make you smile, especially when you felt insecure
His energy was quite contagious so your mood soon shifted to match his
He would definitely ask to try your glasses at least twice a day
“How do I look, Y/N-cchi? I’ll get a matching pair if you say it looks good and we can twin! I can’t really see though, it’s so blurry- have you been blind for this long??”
“Yes I have. Also, I can’t really tell you how you look because I can’t see without the glasses, dummy.”
You didn’t need to be able to see to know he looked good though
His enthusiasm towards your glasses made you feel ten times better about wearing them though, so you were glad to have someone as encouraging as Kise around
Aomine
You were on the phone with Aomine before you had to leave to get your glasses
So when you got back that evening, he spammed you with texts asking for you to send a picture of you with them on
Reluctantly, you agreed and sent him a photo
You absolutely despised how you looked in them, but after a few tries you managed to get a photo that was somewhat okay-looking to you
Aomine saved the photo
‘The glasses look hot, idk why you don’t like them bc I do 😍🤤’ he texted back
When you met him the next morning to walk to school together, he kept grinning at you which made you incredibly flustered
“They look even better in real life,” he said upon greeting you
“No they don’t. They look awful,” you groaned
“If that’s the case then I think you need to get a new pair of glasses because those clearly don’t work— you look gorgeous as always,” he told you as he put an arm around your shoulder while you walked
He was so smooth with his words and actions sometimes that you couldn’t help but blush
He puts up this tough-guy act around his friends, but with you he was always supportive and never failed to compliment you as much as possible
He would get a bit mad sometimes when you criticised yourself too much, so being with him made you much more confident about yourself, and the glasses were no different
It took you some time to get used to it, but Aomine was always ready to remind you about how good you looked and soon, you began to believe him
Murasakibara
He lowkey didn’t even notice that you got glasses at first
He knew that there was something different about you when he saw you, but he didn’t know what it was until you pointed it out
“Y/N-chin, you look different today,” he said, stopping his munching to try and piece together what had changed
“Yeah I know, the glasses are bad. I hate them,” you sighed
Ah right, glasses! He thought to himself
“They’re not bad. They’re different in a good way. You look really cute in them,” he told you
His hand reached for your glasses and took them off, his eyes narrowing before putting them back on your face
“It’s like I’m dating two different people! And they’re both so cute. Damn I’m lucky,” he said, a satisfied grin spread across his face as he popped a potato chip in his mouth
“You really think it’s cute?”
“Of course. You’re Y/N-chin; you’re always cute,” he said reassuringly. “Plus, the glasses don’t change anything. I still love you.”
You felt your heart warm up upon hearing that
Murasakibara was one to always speak his mind, so the words truly meant a lot to you
You began to gain a little more confidence about the glasses
But if there was ever a time where you felt insecure, Murasakibara would shower you with cuddles and kisses, which never failed to make you feel better
Akashi
When you told Akashi that you had to get glasses, he was quite excited to see a new look on you
He’d see you wear your glasses in class and he thought that you looked so adorable in them
However, he noticed that you’d often take them off and refrain from using them
“Y/N, the glasses look good on you. Why don’t you wear them?” He asked you
“I don’t like how I look in them,” you admitted with a shrug
“Why not? They look perfect on you. You should wear them more. Besides, I don’t think it’s good for your eyes if you just never wear them,” he told you
You sighed and put your glasses back on, bringing a smile to Akashi’s face
“Beautiful as always,” he said to you before placing a kiss on your lips
You couldn’t disagree; whatever Akashi Seijuro says, goes
“Thanks Seijuro,” you said with a smile, feeling encouraged to keep wearing the glasses
You grew to like how the glasses looked on you
Of course, Akashi was always reminding you that you looked good so that definitely played a part in your newfound confidence
There was nothing Akashi loved more than showering you with love and support so if you were ever insecure, he’d undoubtedly say the right words to stop you from feeling that way
Kagami
This boy is always ready to give you all the love and support he can possibly give you
It’s like he had permanent heart eyes for you and seeing you with glasses on was no different
“Y/N, the glasses look great!” he said upon seeing you
“Really? I think they look weird on me. I don’t really like them,” you frowned
“Well, I’ll have to disagree. You look as beautiful as ever. Don’t be so hard on yourself,” he smiled
Kagami was a straightforward person, so you knew that whatever he said was how he truly felt
Hearing him say that definitely boosted your confidence, but you still wore an unsure look on your face
So Kagami placed a palm on your cheek and kissed you, which immediately brought a smile onto your lips
“You’re gorgeous. Don’t ever believe otherwise,” he said softly as he pulled away, leaving you with flushed cheeks and a dorky grin spread across your face
Kagami said that with so much assurance that you were led to start liking the glasses
He’s just so supportive of you that you felt like you could do anything

oh dear i'm super duper late but I have a lot of questions about your wips!! I wanna know more about sick Akashi, nekoma pirate crew, BoKuroo/BokuAka midsommer, Pining + Jacket, The truth burns and destroys, feeling good, Punk Noya, Strawberry Blonde, sunspot and the merman au!!! Thanks babe <333
Hi Vee!!! This is it, I spent wayyyyy too long on this, I think my finger is cramping from typing. But thank you for asking, I love sharing my ideas, sorry if it’s incorherent.
This is super long so it’s under the cut, saving people room
Sick Akashi
So, it’s based off of a line prompt “I’d like it if you’d stay” and as the title suggests, 3rd year Akashi gets sick, sorry Vee it’s not fatal, Furihata comes to Rakuzan to check on his friend after he doesn’t answer his phone. The entire premise is Akashi works himself sick with his various responsibilities he takes on as “perfectionist who can’t show any cracks at all”. I don’t want Bokushi Akashi showing up so it’s minus the mental break elements. (also technically in canon terms it's after they have merged so yeah) I feel like they deserve a cute little “nurse” the other from a sickness ficlet. And… maybe… sick Akashi confesses…….. It’s almost a writing challenge for me because Akashi has a more polite sophisticated way of thinking and speaking, so cough yep
The rest are Haikyuu aus so buckle in
NEKOMA PIRATE CREW
Admittedly this is more loose, less of a solid idea. It’s Yaku centric, and how he went from a merchant from his grandfather’s company searching for lost merchandise and became the first mate who keeps track of the ship's finances and keeps their captain Kuroo on track. Other things of note, he meets Kuroo first as a pirate on another ship who stole his merchandise, Kenma is a sea witch (is that science or magic? That's always the question), and about halfway through the adventure they get Lev on board as a new member. So yeah! Kinda a fetch quest but on of my favorite fanfics is legitimately a fetch quest so it's okay fjdkaljf
BoKuroo/BokuAka Midsommer
This is based off of a fanart by desdelasombra my friend Shayla showed it to me and we threw this idea around together, we really don’t want to write it but it's also spectacular. So it's the movie Midsommar, right? Bokuto is a “gatherer” bringing his friends to come join in his village’s rituals. But we didn’t want anyone to die (except for Kenma sorry he’s dead as the substitute for the main character’s sister), so a grieving Kuroo comes with his boyfriend Bokuto, joined by their friends the smart studious and jaded Oikawa and bright bubbly Hinata. Obviously the three react badly to the first ritual and Bokuto doesn’t understand because for him it’s always been a joyful experience and he wanted to share it with his friends. A Lot of things happen, but most important is Akaashi and Kuroo dancing under the may pole together. BokuAka was in the past when Bokuto was home so part of this is them coming together as poly and escaping the final scene of the movie. Again this is very painful but that art is beautiful and the world is better for it being created
Pining + Jacket (KuroLev)
Again this is a line prompt about lending a jacket because it’s cold and it had so much potential for pining and who is the most pining bastard that I know? LEV and Shayla told me about KuroLev and somehow this happened. It’s currently going to be a sequence of drabbles of Lev pining after Kuroo, what else could you ask for? Uh? Lev confessing to Kuroo and them going out??? Sorry I can’t hear you over the exquisite angst and pain of one sided love that I want to explore
The truth burns and destroys
GOOD CHOICE, I began this on saturday night and it has earned a very special place in my heart. Sometimes I fear that my writing is like a lazy pool, sure it's nice and easy and smooth but there isn’t an intensity or raw emotions, BUT THIS this accomplishes what I want. And I’m really glad, its metaphor and imagery heavy but it really captures their emotions and thoughts without it sounding like I’m a 7th grader writing my first fanfiction glances to my abandoned wips from that time. Okay, Vee, I am a glutton for punishment and angst and I choose to pursue cheating fics. But specifically where and how they build the relationship up again after finding out. So, I was reading a KageHina cheating fic and how the character’s reacted felt off somehow so at midnight I wrote this snippet to fullfill my craving, you know what they say the best fanfiction is self indulgence. Here is a short excerpt,
He wants to brush this aside and continue their lives. He wants to wake up next to Tobio and still be seen the same way. He doesn't want anything to change.
Tobio is his favorite book. He has read it time and time again. Highlighting, underlining, cherishing. So Shouyou is able to read the silent begging in his eyes. The right clenched fist.
"Shouyou," a deafening pause "What is this?"
Please lie to me.
It stretches on. The eternity of silence. They sit together holding on to the last hope they have. Shouyou memorizes those beautiful hands, each crease and bump. Hands that helped shape him become who he is and that reached out unwaveringly.
Tobio sighs a world ending sigh.
Shouyou was the one who created their world, it's only fitting that Tobio is the one who destroys it.
In summary I like angst, I want to feel something
Feeling good
AAA, okay uh, This is a BokuAka pop star au. Akaashi sings “feeling good” at a big charity event hosted by Akashi (... yes I am AkaFuri trash and I can and will sneak them in anything and everything I write) while he is singing he walks down a big staircase remembering moments in his relationship with Bokuto, how much they have grown and how much he loves him. I love the concept! But I tried to write smut in the beginning of it and OOF THATS A NO. I actually have the majority of it written but I do want to add more emotions and thoughts (the lazy pool writing) and make it Ao3 friendly because I have all of the lyrics for feeling good in it as “post signs” for what he sings and that’s against their rules. 1 major aspect of this fic is it's all leading up to the point where Akaashi says “I love you” for the first time to Bokuto after finishing the song, on stage, in front of everyone and on every screen broadcasting it.
Punk Noya
I have a love for feral boys, especially feral alternative punk boys (and girls and humans) so this whole idea is that Noya goes to another school for high school, embraces more punk aethsetics, and on the first day of the preliminary tournaments he hears the rumors about a high schooler in a gang, getting up to nasty things, and he decides to confront them. He finds Asahi, rants him out and leaves. The plot then follows canon, at the winter tournament Karasuno faces Dateko, Karasuno loses even more badly because Noya isn’t there. Asahi quits volleyball, BUT Asahi and Noya run into each other at the store and talk leading to friendship which leads to romance. Idk man, I want more punk haikyuu characters, it gives me life. Alt Yamaguchi is my favorite but onwards we go
Strawberry Blonde
!!!! So this is Mitski’s song and to give a vague idea this is a pining Kageyama fic where he tries to pull away from Hinata and that back fires. (I  do have more to say but I’ve been typing this for over an hour and I’m getting really tired fjkdaljl) There is one paragraph that I love, so here it is! Kageyama and Hinata are practicing by themselves outside of school and they are playing pepper (its a volleyball warm up practice routine where you partner up with someone pass, set, and spike the ball to each other sesquentially) Hinata goes to spike the ball and for a moment Kageyama sees it,
They are at nationals and they made it to finals. The crowds are screaming, but everything except the court is thrown into shadows. They are at match point of the final set. Everything is at peak intensity and at the center is him. Flying in the air. Orange hair waving with the momentum. His loud take off echoing in the gym. Arm poised for the kill. Eyes sparking with ferocity and passion as he aims. And finally, tipping the world over is the loud slap of his hand, sending the ball to the far side of the court-
This was actually going to be finished and posted in time for Haikyuu season 4 coming out and the manga wrapping up.... clearly I failed my goal fjdaklfj
Sunspot
You don’t know this about me but I love royalty aus, and this is BokuAka Prince Akaashi and Knight Bokuto. This was a short snippet of this grand idea I have for them where they run away from Akaashi’s inherited destiny together. It has potential to be really wide and expansive with the differnet teams as different kingdoms (AGAIN ILLUSION OF CHOICE, that fic really influences me doesn’t it fjdskalj) But this was a short glance at Akaashi taking a break from studying and watching Bokuto and the other knights practice duel. The title comes from the fact that Bokuto is a sunspot in Akaashi’s life, and his day is substantially better basking in his golden shining light.
Merman au
I’m so glad you asked about this and its technically the one I’ve written the most for since it's actually the one I posted on my haikyuu writing side blog. But brief recap, long term it’s a BokuAka little mermaid au but instead of a sea witch it’s an underwater deity who makes “wishes” (it's a deal) with every royal who is born. And Akaashi has a lot of siblings: Ushijima, Oikawa, Suga, Terushima, and Hinata, and its in that order. So I have information on every sibling’s deal, what they wish for, what they give for it, what happens to them in the future, romantically and otherwise. But, this is the one I haven’t updated in over a year, I am working on it!! I’m currently on Koushi’s (suga’s) wish/deal, its just taking forever. If you want to learn more about it I’ll link it in parts  1  2  3  4
BUT I will work on Suga’s part and then Terushima’s and then to the meat of the idea with Akaashi.
If you have made it this far, thanks, you are cool as always. My brain and fingers is ded.

I love your marriage proposal headcanons! Thank you so much for answering my request. Can you do them this time for Aomine, Kise, Murasakibara, Himuro and Mayuzumi?
Hi dear! Aw, I’m so happy you liked them! *-* I hope you’ll like these the same! Let me know!
Have a nice day!
Aomine Daiki, Kise Ryouta, Murasakibara Atsushi, Himuro Tatsuya, Mayuzumi Chihiro Wedding Proposal Headcanons
Aomine Daiki
-I imagine Aomine being totally lost about it. He really, really want to propose…but something stops him every time and he gets more and more irritated. Once it’s his cowardice, another time your annoying friends, than he doubts himself… He just can’t imagine answering yes. And he hates it. He hates feeling not at his best, feeling as he’s going to lose. So, he decides he’s going to ask it when he really his as his top.
-He waits for the last match of the international basketball tournament of the year. He had asked the coach to let you sit on the benches during the match so that it’s going to be easy for him to reach you. Everyone says it’s the best match Aomine has ever played: he’s the king of the court, a wild animal without leashes, unstoppable. The number one. Every time he scores he grins widely. He crushes his adversaries, even if they we’re a powerful team. Because this time he can’t afford to lose. Not tonight. He has a bet with himself.
-When, finally, they are celebrating on the podium and the presenter had put around his neck the golden medal, he jumps down from his place and walks right to you, who are already enthusiastic about the victory and jumping around excitedly. All the eyes of the entire gym and the cameras are on you two, but Aomine sees only you. A smirk on his lips, face still flushed and eyes glimmering.
-He stops in front of you and takes off the medal to put it around your neck.“This is probably going to be the best day of my life,” he grins as you watch him speechless. He then takes off the chain necklace you’ve bought him for his birthday. But, hanging from it, there a shining silver ring with a sapphire.“But only if you say yes, babe,” He kneels and stretches it to you, as you cover your mouth.“A-Are you serious?” You mutter and tears roll down your cheeks.“Hell yes,” he scoffs blushing, “And please answer, don’t make it even more embarrassing.”You literally jump into his arms, without words to answer properly but “Yes. Yes! Yes!”
Kise Ryouta-Kise devises different plans for week. He wants it to be special, but doesn’t want reporters or fangirls ruining the moment. So, what to do?Simple, he kidnaps you.
-I mean, being a famous pilot brings some privileges no? He rent a small plane just for the two of you and one day, without warning you, instead of dropping you at your best friend’s house, he just puts you on it with two suitcases and a smirk on his face.
-He makes you sit beside him as he maneuvers, with a glass of champagne in your hand. You try to make him talk and ask for reasons, but he evades them and keeps his mouth sealed, chatting instead.
-He brings you in a natural paradise on top of the world, far from the cities and immersed in the starry skies. Looking around, on the peak of a mountain or a hill, you don’t know, you can see only stars and stars. Just the two of you for once. No public, no fangirls, no photographers and reporters. Just you and Kise.He shows it to you with pride as soon as you step out, in awe. He had planned to ask it after a romantic dinner outside (picnic gourmet) and while whispering to each other but…he’s too enthusiastic. Excited.Imagine him laughing openly as he spins with his arms open, shining blond hair against the night.“SO!” he calls laughing at himself and at the world, “I swear I planned it properly, but if I wait a second more I could explode!” He takes your hands into his and drags you away from the plane and almost into the sky. You’re without words, a giddy chuckle escapes your lips as his happiness is rubbing off on you.“This is beautiful!” you whisper and he beams pointing up.“Do you see the stars?” You nod tilting your head and he smiles as a child.“They’re my love for you!” he pronounces easily and heartfeltly, but your heart misses a beat. And, before you can recover from it, he kneels and offers you an open velvet box.A silver ring with a topaz shines in it.“Please, be my star forever.” His hands are trembling even if he’s faking to be calm and smooth but…his golden eyes are so fond, so warm as he watches you as the most precious of the treasures.Crying, you throw yourself at him and hug your boyfriend tightly. He picks and spins you around, repeating against your ear, “I’m so happy, so happy…”
-You spend the next three days in a luxurious onsen near where you’ve landed.
Murasakibara Atsushi-In a domestic, sweet and comfy way. It’s just that for you it’s like being already married, you already live like that so…Murasakibara realizes you’re not only when one of his friend tells him he’s going to marry.
-It’s a normal evening. You two are eating at the table what he has cooked and you are chatting happily about the day, as he nods, listening even if he seems not to. You think it’s going to be a normal night: you’ll wash the plates and he’ll dry them, putting them away since he’s taller. Maybe then some cuddles on the couch, laughing and munching sweets. In the end, sleeping curled in Murasakibara’s arms. But then Murasakibara starts a new conversation out of nowhere and changes the rest of your lives in few seconds.
“We’re like married, aren’t we?” He’s stopped eating and his words sound casual, as he looks up from his plate and meets your gaze. You nearly choke on your food and cough, embarrassed by the sudden change of topic.“I-I think so…” You stutter, not daring to lower your gaze but already feeling your cheeks getting redder.“But we aren’t,” He adds calmly. A sting to your heart, but you manage to keep your smile.“Yeah…”“Then let’s make it official.” And suddenly Murasakibara is stretching to you a small, open box. In the middle you can see a golden ring with three amethyst.“W-what…?”“Marry me, SO.”You blinked at him completely lost, fear and happiness swirling in your mind.“How-Why-I-”“It’s already like we’re married no? I just want to make this official,” he shrugs, “So that I’m sure you’re going to be with me forever.”Maybe is seeing his red cheeks or the way his hand is slightly trembling, but everything clicks and you start crying. Stumbling you leave your seat and hug him tightly, as Murasakibara pulls you in his laps and buries his face in the crook of your neck.“Yeah, let’s make it official. Our forever.”
Himuro  Tatsuya-He’s the mysterious and cool guy who likes to tease, that’s how I see him in a relationship. So, a simple thing but meaningful for you. Unexpected.
-He just picks you from work one evening and instead of bringing you home, he drives till your old high school. You are confused, but as always he just smirks and teases you without revealing his intentions.“How do you even have the keys?”“I have my ways, don’t worry.”“I don’t think this is legal you know?”“Maybe it isn’t..”You want to pout but his chuckle is too cute and endearing to do it for real. And you’re also starting to feel a bit excited and fidgety; especially because you’ve seen how he’s playing with the car keys or how he draws circles with his thumb on the back of your hand, as he guides you through the corridors.
-Finally, you arrive to your old classroom. The one you shared in your third year. He opens the door and you gasp in surprise. Inside, two small desk have been set for dinner, glowing candles scattered around the classroom giving a special atmosphere.“Do you remember?” You nearly jump for the surprise as he leans to whisper in your ear, cold breath lingering on your skin.“W-what?”He chuckles and gently guides you inside.“Here you took the courage and confessed to me,” He recalls with a soft smile, “We’d been dancing around each other for months…but you were the one who confessed first in the end. Stuttering and blushing…but so brave.”You blush even now, slowly understanding where this is going. He lets your hand go and you stop walking. Himuro reaches the table and takes something, before turning to face you again.“So, I thought it was my turn this time.” He’s smiling so wide as you’ve never seen. Your eyes fill with tears even before he kneels and offers to you the open box.“I’m Himuro Tatsuya, currently a teacher. I’m sorry if I called you here tonight, but I love you,” he mimicked the confession of years ago, “Would you marry me, SO?”You nod with conviction, trying not to sob too hard; giggles get mixed with your tears.“I-I’d love to.” Himuro beams as he takes your hand and slips on the finger the weaved silver ring.“Please take care of me, my wife.”
Mayuzumi Chihiro-It’s a real torture for him. I mean, going out of his way to be tender and sweet to marry you? Come on, you know him, he knows he’s going to sound fake to you if he tries. He also knows that you’re able to put up with his personality so…how to ask it without being cheesy or pathetic? All those tutorials and videos have been useless and he’s getting more and more frustrated. Why is it so difficult?
-In the end, he swallows his pride and asks Akashi how to propose. His former captain laughs amused and tells him, “Why not doing it as you always do? Silent, concise but demanding? If she had already put up with you until now, she’s not going to run away.” And he hits the mark: maybe, just maybe, Mayuzumi is a bit scared of being rejected and that’s why at first he’d thought to do something extra sweet.
-In the end, he just can’t take it anymore. He brings you out for dinner in a nice and quiet place you both enjoy. While walking to the restaurant you notice he’s being more annoyed and snappy than usual, but you don’t ask anything…especially because you can see him glancing at you when he thinks you’re not looking. A bit worried, a bit uneased and with bags under his eyes.Knowing him, you’re going to know soon.
-During dinner, he tries his best to be his usual calm and quiet self, but it’s vain. He’s so clumsy you can’t believe to your eyes. When he accidentally elbow a passing waiter and nearly makes him spill a plate of soup, you can’t restrain your laughter anymore.“Oh Chihiro,” you chuckle amused, “What’s wrong?” you ask him giddy. It’s so funny to see him like this for once. It’s your warm and honest smile that breaks him.“I was trying to propose but I’m only messing up,” he pouts averting his eyes. You stop breathing. What?Mayuzumi doesn’t notice and continues explaining, totally caught in his frustration, “I’ve been trying to propose for more than a month but everything seemed stupid. Or pathetic. How people propose anyway?” he grumbled, ruffling his head.
“P-propose?” you whisper with wide eyes. And he freezes.Mayuzumi finally looks at you, realizing what’s going on, and gulps. Slowly, to save the rest of the night, he slip out of his pocket a gray velvet box and opens it in front of you.“So, would you marry me?” He nervously asks as you shift your gaze on the silver ring with a small diamond, “Even if this is the most horrible proposal ever made. I’m sorry if I wasted all those years reading novels and then I ended up doing…this.”You laugh. You laugh warm and giddy, crystal tears on your cheeks.“Yes Chihiro! Yes!”He sighs in relief and quickly grab your hand to put on your finger the ring, before you could change idea.“Did you really thought I’d reject you?” you giggle, weaving together your fingers. He blushes hard before turning his head away.“Absolutely no.”“Liar.”

Hellooo once again 😊 I was the anon who asked for the manager (more like a coach) female reader!! I was wondering if I could request for the same kind of reader? And for Haruichi, Kuroko and Akashi's teammates try to get them together but fail miserably? Can be scenarios or headcannons 💙
These got pretty long…  Especially Haruichi.  I hope this was what you were looking for!  I wrote them as kind of continuations of the previous scenarios
Cut for length.
Kominato Haruichi
The continued lack ofsubtlety shown by his teammates was enough to make him want to hide under hisbed and not come out for the next century.
He wasn’t even thatsurprised.  First of all, he was prettysure the only one of the involved lot capable of subtle was Miyuki, and hewasn’t even bothering to employ his skill in the matter.  He spent most of the time giggling behind ahand watching the others thoroughly embarrass him over and over again.
His captain was not anally.
He’d thought that of themall, he’d at least be able to count on his fielding partner to back him up, butnope.  Apparently, Kuramochi thought thewhole thing as hilarious as their captain and so usually just waded in and madeeverything a bigger mess than it already was.
Sawamura had somehowreached enlightenment with regards to the situation with you, and Haruichi’sfeelings for you, and had made it his mission to get you two together.  None of them seemed to understand that hewas fine with the way things were and fine with you not knowing how hefelt about you.  His opinion, of coursedidn’t matter.
Frankly, Haruichi wasmore surprised that Sawamura hadn’t just blurted his feelings out to youalready.  That was certainly his speed, andtruthfully, that seemed where things were headed.  The schemes the other boy came up with to push you two togetherwere so outlandish that Haruichi was pretty sure you’d already figured out whatwas going on, you were just too polite to say anything.
When you left withnothing but a smile and a wave after his teammates’ latest attempt to set youup, Sawamura complained bitterly. “Harucchi, it’s like you don’t even want ___!  You’ll never get her to go out with you withthat attitude!”
“Would you just stop,”Haruichi replied, voice like the blade of a knife.  “Leave it alone!”
Unfortunately for him, hedidn’t see the familiar pink head lurking just around the corner, which was toobad, because then he might have expected what was coming for him later thatweek.
He’d been happy when hisbrother showed up for practice one day. The third years were pretty busy studying most of the time, so it was atreat to have them around.  Haruichi wastoo busy trying to learn from the older boys to notice the particular shape ofhis brother’s smile – a classic, foolish mistake, and one that he paid forwithin a few hours.
He’d been minding his ownbusiness, heading towards his dorm in order to change and head to dinner whenhe was ambushed.  Kuramochi grabbed himby the arm and dragged him away, aided by Zono and Shirasu, who both bore widesmirks.  “What the-”
“Sorry Haru, orders areorders, kyahaha!” Kuramochi cackled, grip firm.
Haruichi might have askedwhat the hell he was talking about, except they came into sight of anothergroup of boys just down the way, standing in front of the closed door of acloset.  His brother was at the helm ofthem, looking like some kind of yakuza boss, despite being shorter than all therest of them.
The elder Kominato’ssmile was as terrifying as it always was. He inclined his head in greeting, and in acknowledgment of Kuramochi’sservice, then motioned to the closet. “Be sure not to shame me now, Haruichi,” he said, amused and more than alittle smug.
Toujou, who was closestto the door, opened it and before he could even react, Haruichi found himselftossed unceremoniously into the closet and the door slammed closed behindhim.  He’d made it no more than twosteps into the tiny room when his body collided with something soft and warmand he flailed, yelping as the pair of you fell into one of the shelves at theback of the coffin-sized space.  “I’msorry!” He said, praying he hadn’t hurt you.
You took a sharp breathin, but shook your head.  “It’s okay,Haru… It’s not like you had any choice either.”
Haruichi decided in thatmoment that he had the worst brother on the face of the planet and he didn’teven know why he had ever looked up to him.
“What do you suppose theymean for us to do in here?” You asked, and though he couldn’t see your face, hewas pretty sure you were blushing as brightly as he was.  “Maybe we should find the light switch…”
Haruichi knew exactlywhat they meant for them to do, and he was pretty sure you knew too, you werejust pretending not to.  He wasn’t surewhat this meant – were you trying to spare his feelings?  Were you just being shy?  You weren’t that shy naturally, youshouldn’t be and practically be another coach for the team.  But this kind of thing was different…
“I… think I would preferif it stayed off,” he said, not wanting to give light to the shade in hisface.  It was humiliating enough.  “I’m sorry my brother has a terriblepersonality.”
“It is pretty bad,” yougiggled.  “He just does whatever hewants to…”
“Yeah.”
You stood like that forwhat felt like ever, neither one wanting to address the obvious in the tinyroom.  Haruichi wished he could bebraver, but this was not how he wanted to tell you how he felt and damnit, he would not be rushed or pushed into it by the idiocy of histeammates.
“Hey Haru?”
“Yes?”
“I’ll help you bury thebodies if you want.  I can make them rununtil they die, that way they suffer too.”
Haruichi couldn’t helpthe soft laugh that bubbled up at the comment, and he was pretty sure he justlost his heart completely.  “Thanks,____-chan.  I’d appreciate that.”
When the door openedeventually, some ten minutes later, it was Kanemaru that opened it.  His face was bright red, and he lookedpained.  “Dinner’s started, so you’dbetter hurry back, ____-chan.”
You smiled at the blondboy and hurried away, sparing only a single glance back for Haruichi.  Haruichi, irritated, scowled.  “Gone, of course.”
Kanemaru sighed.  “Kominato-senpai wanted me to tell you thathe’s very disappointed in you.”
Of course he was.
Kuroko Tetsuya
Kuroko was pretty sure hewasn’t late.  He was never late – infact, he made it a policy to be early. This was why when he arrived at the designated meeting point and foundonly you, he assumed that no one else had shown up yet.  Except, you looked at him in relief, smiledshyly and said, “Oh good… I was starting to think it got cancelled and no onedecided to inform me.”
He glanced at his phone –it was just barely one, so why were you worried?  “We were supposed to meet at one, is everyone running late?”
You blinked at him, confused.  “One?  Riko-senpai said twelve thirty at practiceyesterday… I think you were getting water with Kagami-kun though.”
That was the momentKuroko realized that he’d been set up. Not by you, of course, but by the rest of the team who was conspicuousin their absences.  He had to admit, itwas at least a little clever, practically ensuring the two of you would end upon a date, alone.
Or was it a date if onlyone of you realized that’s what it was supposed to be?
Kuroko sighed.  It’s not that he minded, exactly, but hewould have rather have asked you himself instead of having the team employdeception.  “I don’t think anyone’scoming, ___-san,” he said, eyes moving over their surroundings.  He really wanted to go to the bookstore, andwhat did it matter if it was only the two of you?  “Why don’t we-”
But he never got tofinish his question, because out of nowhere a man on a skateboard appeared andknocked straight into your back, pushing you out of the way so that he couldgrind along the lip of the fountain you were standing beside.  The force of the crash was enough to sendyou slamming into the ground with enough force to cause you to scream in pain.
Kuroko watched the wholething in what felt like slow motion, time only speeding up once you were on theground and the man with the skateboard gone, laughing as he went.  “___-san!” Kuroko said, immediately droppingto a knee beside you to try and help you up.
You whimpered though, andhe could hear your breath coming on harsh pants.  “K-Kuroko-kun…”
As he got you sitting up,he realized you were holding your right arm. His eyes widened dramatically as he caught sight of the arm.  Not only was there sluggishly bleeding scrapesall up the outside of the arm, but it was painfully obvious that your wrist wasbroken.  “It’s okay, ___-san,” he saidgently, hand touching your head hesitantly as if to comfort you.  “I’ll call an ambulance.”
Later, as he sat in thewaiting room of the hospital, his phone rang and he looked down to see Kagami’sgrinning face on the screen.  Sighing,he swiped to answer.  “Hello?”
“Hey.  The others want to know how your date’sgoing.” The taller boy said, like it was an imposition.  Kuroko could hear the others in thebackground.
“Great.” He repliedblankly, with a tiny bit of bite.  “Wespent the afternoon in the hospital. ___-san broke her wrist.”
“WHAT????”
Akashi Seijuro
He knew from minute onewhat his teammates were trying to do. Thus, it was easy to side step their, frankly, laughable efforts.  He didn’t need help winning youraffection, and he certainly didn’t need his bumbling teammates trying to setthe two of you up.
The only one of them thatpossessed any shred of subtlety or finesse was Mibuchi, and he had to spendmost of his time corralling the others. Of course, Mayuzumi could be clever when he wanted to be, but he wasn’tabout to get invested in the state of Akashi’s love life and didn’t see thepoint in interfering.  Akashi respectedhim for his restraint.
But their clumsy attemptsto push him at you and you at him meant that Akashi had to play an exhaustinggame of keep you unaware, because he didn’t want you realizing what hewas about until he was ready to make his move. And sadly, the more they failed miserably to get the two of you together, the harder they tried, which distracted him from his ultimate goals.
Plus, you were smartenough to pick up the on going trend. You watched them all more carefully, lifting an eyebrow when one of theidiots said something super obvious and winked at you, and frankly, Akashi wasstarting to lose his patience with them. Apparently they couldn’t get the message to back off, and maybeit was time to use force.
The Winter Cup tournamentdistracted them somewhat, especially when you became extra ruthless in yourappraisal of their play.  Hayamacomplained bitterly as you worked them harder than you ever had before, but youmerely stood over him, looking down your nose and told him to suck it up ordie.
Honestly, Akashi hadnever been more turned on in his life.
He tucked that memoryaway, to remember when he was alone, and threw himself into conquering thelesser mortals in the tournament.  Hisformer teammates proved to be worthy opponents, mostly, and he had to work hardthan he ever had before.  He wasn’t evensurprised when it was Kuroko that proved his undoing – that quite, almostinvisible boy that had more fight in him than the entirety of the Generation ofMiracles combined.  He never thoughthe’d see the day when sheer tenacity overcame raw talent.  But it was a learning experience, and onehe’d use to get even better in the future.
It was in the aftermathof their loss to Seirin that you came to him and completely upset his planswith regards to you.  Smiling pretty athim, you took his sticky face between your hands and pulled him down into asoft, shallow kiss that sent his normally sharp mind into a tail spin.  “Now they can stop trying quite so hard,ne?” You laughed, winking cheekily.
Akashi sighed, smilingfondly as he returned your kiss with a slightly deeper one of his own.  “Indeed.”

YOU CAN HAVE THE MIDDLE FROM MY BONE
I
Akashi took him away when he was only one year old and named him Midorima, because his small, round eyes were as green as meadows used to be before they got torn down for the sake of a concrete wasteland. When Akashi saw him carelessly resting in the baby carriage on the street, Midorima didn’t shy away from his stern voice or his harsh stare but embraced them with a curious glint to his eyes. Akashi was never surer of finding the one.
II
Midorima started devouring books as soon as Akashi taught him how to read, and Akashi’s library was vast and smelled of history and decay, decay and history. It was cosy, thick-walled, lined with fine, ancient furniture and Midorima meandered among the labyrinth of its shelves with grace and prowess that could’ve saved Icarus from his tragic destiny.
The first time Midorima didn’t want Akashi to read for him, Akashi wondered if this was where their paths would diverge. Midorima was six and a half and he put away the book Akashi’s planned to read to him. If Akashi’s heart was still functional, it would certainly be pounding against his chest in a violent surge of emotions as he watched Midorima disappear between the shelves.
When Midorima came back, he was holding a different book in his hands, the one he chose himself. He walked to the couch on which Akashi sat and gracefully climbed onto his lap.
“I will read for you, this time,” he said in a small but assured voice.
Akashi leaned back and listened to the story he has already heard countless times before.
III
“Are you a vampire?”
Midorima was nine and he was waiting for Akashi to correct his test. So far, all his answers were correct. It was, in fact, way past Midorima’s bedtime but Akashi allowed for deviance this once as their study session wasn’t as intense as usual.
Akashi didn’t lift his gaze from the test he was grading as he answered: “And what if I was?”
A brief moment of silence was followed by a pair of small, shaky hands placing themselves on the surface of the table: “Can you make me one too?”
The tip of the pen Akashi was holding tore into the paper.
“Go to sleep, Shintarou. You shall not mention this matter again.”
IV
Midorima was only fifteen but he has already outgrown the lithe frame Akashi that stopped developing decades ago, both in height and weight.
“You’ve grown taller again,” Akashi said as he fixed Midorima’s tie. Usually, Midorima was prim and proper in everything he did, just as Akashi’s taught him, but tying a tie seemed to cause him great distress. Akashi found it oddly endearing.
“Soon, you won’t be able to do this for me,” Midorima said and fixed his glasses. His hair was longer now and it did for his face what a frame did for its picture – made it more prominent and… beautiful – and his bottomless green eyes held silence Akashi could no longer understand if it wasn’t accompanied by words.
Akashi brought his heels back to the ground.
“Unless you stand on a chair,” Midorima added as a shadow of a smile touched his lips.
With a practiced simper, Akashi grabbed Midorima’s tie and yanked it downwards. He took pleasure in watching Midorima’s eyes widen in both fear and anticipation.
“Don’t get ahead of yourself, Shintarou. I can always pull you down.”
V
Akashi rose with the sunset and lied down with the first crack of dawn so when Midorima entered high school, they barely saw each other anymore.
Midorima attended classes during the day and slept or studied during the night; that’s how it should be, that’s how Midorima was supposed to grow. Akashi has cultivated him until now; he gave him nourishment when he couldn’t provide it for himself, and now it was Midorima’s turn to pave his own way until he reached the destination, the purpose Akashi had for him.
But each day he awoke to the sound of Midorima closing the doors to his room, he had yet another reason to curse his immortal existence. He quietly strolled to Midorima’s room and peeked into it to find Midorima studying at the table. Akashi saw the shadow Midorima’s long eyelashes cast on the bags under his eyes and he knew he shouldn’t disturb him.
When the morning neared, Akashi was already laying in his bed with darkness surrounding him in a thick veil. That’s when the door of his room opened with a shy crack. A small echo of tiptoes neared his bed and then his bed moved under the weight of this very intruder as he slid under the covers, as close to Akashi as he presumed was allowed.
“What is the meaning of this, Shintarou?”
“I’m tired.”
“You have your own bed.”
“I’m tired of being alone.”
Akashi pondered for a moment. “You may stay, then.”
VI
On the night of Midorima’s prom, he walked into Akashi’s room with his tie hanging loosely around his neck. He stood before Akashi, who made no effort to move as he observed the fine man Midorima’s grown into, the honour student, the captain of the basketball team, and then he kneeled.
Wordless, Akashi grasped the tie and folded it neatly and tightly. Such a simple task, yet Midorima still couldn’t do it.
Or he pretended he couldn’t.
Akashi smiled at himself for entertaining that thought. He had picked up a wine glass of scarlet liquid and brought it to his lips when he noticed Midorima’s eyes following his every move.
“Is something the matter, Shintarou?”
Midorima didn’t bat an eyelash. Akashi noticed the quiver of his lip – a sign that he was brainstorming through possible replies.
“I’m of age now, you could turn me.”
“I told you to leave that matter be,” Akashi replied curtly.
“Why? Together, we could—“
“That is not the purpose I have in mind for you,” Akashi cut him off. Midorima pressed his lips together, his brows knitted tightly together.
“Purpose? Am I just a tool to you? After everything, you only plan to use me and then dispose of me?”
“I would never dispose of you.”
“Then why can’t you tell me what it is you want from me? I never complained once even after I realized that I’m not yours. I’ve let you teach me, make me just the way you wanted me to be without asking questions because I thought you wanted someone, me,  by your side. Forever,” Midorima paused and, even during the longest rant Midorima’s ever made, his pristine composure never slipped. “I would do anything for you, if you asked.”
Akashi took a sip from the glass, swallowed the thick liquid and smiled as he said: “That’s exactly why you’re the one.”
VII
To Midorima, it must’ve been a long struggle but to Akashi it was over in a blink of an eye; and there he was, standing before a twenty-five year old Midorima who had a college degree and an internship, connections in the right place and a promising future. He had all those things Akashi had always wanted to, not just obtain and hold onto because he had no other choice, appreciate because they weren’t eternal.
Midorima wore a black suit, custom-tailored, whose fabric clung to his sinewy, powerful frame; he looked like a man who could stir the world and then leave it to churn once he’s had enough of it.
Akashi couldn’t.
“You look beautiful,” Akashi said as he watched Midorima descent from the marble staircase of their home. Midorima needlessly adjusted his glasses, a nervous habit if he had any.
“Thank you.” When Midorima reached the bottom of the stairs, he pulled out a ring of silver colour with a crown of blue forget-me-nots embroiled on its surface. He put out his hand for Akashi to take and Akashi knew there were only two ways this could go, but he opted for one he normally wouldn’t have.
He put his hand in Midorima’s. “You shouldn’t have,” he said as he carefully studied the way the ring slid on his finger.
“I wanted to. Happy birthday, Akashi.”
Akashi smiled a genuine smile that touched his eyes, the kind of smile he thought his face had forgotten to imitate. He took a step back, spread his fingers and looked at the ring.
In that very moment, he realized that Midorima really didn’t know a thing.
VIII
“Come,” Akashi said with his arms spread as if he was welcoming an embrace, “I want you to think of me as you would an enemy.”
Midorima clutched the item in his hand – a stake – and met Akashi’s unrelenting gaze. That very gaze spoke volumes of what was about to transpire and Akashi didn’t want to Midorima to look away.
“Why?” Midorima whined. He never whined, but he’d never been told to kill someone either; especially not the person who had raised him.
“Everything was for this moment. When I first saw you in your carriage, alone, outside, I thought I’d scare you a little, children dislike me after all, but you weren’t afraid at all. And then I knew. I knew I could make you into someone who could put me out of my misery.”
Midorima all but snarled. “Misery? What misery? You have it all!”
“I never asked for it.”
Akashi noticed that the hand clutching the stake was starting to turn blue.
“Midorima,” he said, in his soothing voice, the same voice he used to read stories to him, “right here.” He pointed to his chest and smiled once again. But this smile was old, tired, and he felt it leave hollows on his face that burned.
Midorima shook his head so violently that his glasses slipped halfway down his nose. He didn’t bother fixing them. “You’ll make me do this even though you know how I feel about you?”
Akashi took a few steps forward, Midorima’s shoulder slouched. He stopped in front of the taller boy, no, a man and gently placed his hand on top of the one holding the stake.
“That’s exactly why I’m asking you. I wouldn’t be able to go by the hand of somebody I didn’t love.”
Akashi heard Midorima’s voice get stuck in his throat. His hair fell over his beautiful, so-very-green eyes as he leaned towards Akashi. Akashi took this moment of human weakness to lead Midorima’s hand towards his chest. Midorima didn’t protest. He kept lowering his head, lower, lower, just a bit more and then—
Cold and warm lips, soft flesh and hard stake met at the same time. The air around them ceased to flow, time might as well have stopped. Akashi’s lips danced with Midorima’s until his body sagged, his limbs growing heavier by the moment.
If it weren’t for the piercing pain of the stake in his chest, dying would’ve felt like having your life spill from your lips into somebody else’s mouth.
Akashi wondered why he ever thought he wanted to leave as Midorima’s enemy.
How foolish.
IX
Midorima played with the ring around his finger. It was an old ring; a ring of silver colour with a crown of blue forget-me-nots embroiled on its surface. That ring has been nervously twirled around his finger for way too long. That ring burned his skin, but he wore it every day.
Like a reminder. Like a scar.
He still didn’t understand.
Years have passed but they haven’t given him wisdom. Money, success, friends – yes, but those were a distraction, not a cure.
In the morning he’d wake up from a nostalgic dream that smelled of red hair and old books.
In the noon he’d forget to eat.
In the afternoon, he’d fall asleep on the bed that didn’t smell like him anymore.
In the evening, he’d read a book he knew by heart until he fell asleep.
Rinse and repeat.
And, sometimes, he’d look in the mirror and remember he was called beautiful in a suit.
He stopped wearing a tie.

Part one : Heya! So, I just had this on my mind : I randomly listend to Beyoncé's "crazy in love " ( 50 shades of grey version ) and I had the video of "the white stripes - I just don't know what to do " video on my mind. I don't know how or why, but... yeah...( look it up! It's really sexy and cool, especially when model Kate Moss dances!)
So, I was wondering, how the “ Generation of Miracles” would react to the video of their SO, if she would do such a smexy and cool video like this with the “ crazy in love ” song and send it to her SO, mayb as a birthday present or for their first anniversary or something. ..? (Some of the boys may do a “reaction video” and send it back to her?)
Hi dear! OMG this was so funny/smexy! I mean,do you want to break them? This is such a killer move, they’ll gocrazy forsure! Herethe reactions!
The Generation of Miracles’ Reactions To A Smexy Video From Their S/O
Aomine Daiki
-He opens it lazily, sprawled onhis bed, thinking it’s some stupid video or maybe it’s yousinging happy birthday and…”Shit!” he curses, nearly fallingout of his bed. At first, he blushes like crazy and curses a lotbecause he can’t believe it. He watches it like he’s eating you alive, eyes gluedto the screen.
-He watches it like ten times? And saves it even onthe computer.
-No reaction video, he sends you a boomerang with himlicking his lips and a sexy smirk. Under he writes, “Coming in five babe, beready”
-He bribes you to do a live performance in a veryconvincing way. Who could have ever thought he was good at dancing? Or at leastat stripping to the beat of “Slay” –(Trevor Moran).
-He puts the song as his ringtone for you.
Kise Ryouta
-Kise sways between a drooling, blushing mess tosmirking and whistling as he watches the video. He’s super happy you took yourtime to think and prepare it, but he finds it so sexy and irresistible that he canbarely restrain himself to reach you immediately.
-He screenshots some frames because you’re too hot.
-He does an incredibly smexy reaction video on “Savage”(Whethan ft. Flux Pavillion and MAX) that brings you to his apartment asap. Hewelcomes you with a warm laugh and hugs you tightly, spinning you around, before he leans you against the door and whispers all his bold appreciation forthe video.
Kuroko Tetsuya
-Initially he doesn’t understand and looks at hisphone perplexed, until he realizes it’s you dancing and damn, his pale cheeksgo red in five seconds. He covers his mouth with a hand because for once he’slosing his poker face.
-Once it’s finished, he switches off his phone andcloses his eyes to calm down. He waits to be normal again, goes to buy someflowers and appears in front of your house to bring you out for dinner.
-“That’s not fair, SO.” He tries to glare, but a smirkescapes his lips as he grabs your hand while walking. He’s not going to let yougo home tonight.
MidorimaShintarou
-You break the poor guy. He has nearly a heart attack, face glowing red.
-The video starts, he realizes what he’s watching and heshuts the phone close on instinct. Midorima breathes hard, guiltily looksaround to check he’s alone and opens it again. He watches it in growing awe, arousal and embarrassment.
-He’s going to save it on his computer in a safefolder.
-He panics hard because he doesn’t know how to answerand doesn’t want to ask for help to anyone. After two hours of mumbling alone,he texts you.
“That was …nice. Thank you.”
“How nice from one to ten, Shin-chan?”
“I’d-like-you-to-see-you-soon nice.”
-He begs you to warn him the next time you send somethinglike that so he doesn’t open it in public. When you tease him with “Who saidthere’s going to be a next time?” he blushes stuttering until you kiss his embarrassmentaway.
MurasakibaraAtsushi
-He’s obviously eating when he opens it, so he spits hisfood from the surprise.
-The first time he’s silent and wide-eyed. The secondhe’s smirking. The third he’s humming. Not once he touches his snacks again.
-“SO-chan, next time do it covered in chocolate. Andwhile I’m there.”
-He teases you for it for days, whispering bold wordsor allusive sentences in the most unexpected and inappropriate moments. However, when you tease him about his reactions and how much he likes it, hegets all tsun-tsun and his cheeks get pink.
AkashiSeijuurou
-You blow him out. I mean, he didn’t expect it at alland usually he knows everything about you. Or so he thought. He just stares atthe video without words.
-He watches again and again until he has memorizedevery single movement and expression of yours. You’re so perfect and he’s so prideof having you as his girlfriend.
-“Dear SO, I’m without words to compliment appropriatelyyour performance. However, as much as I love this video from the bottom of myheart, I would like to see it again in person if possible. I’m going to pickyou up for dinner tonight, so please think about your answer.”
Actually, he doesn’t let you think about the answer. You don’t manage to go to dinner either.
