it'd be really cool if you like made a post going in depth on how you camp or like the equipment you think to bring/ideal location you think of or a "walkthrough" so to speak.. it sounds so fun and genuinely fulfilling but i personally would have no idea where to even start since camping was never my familys thing all ive ever done is tag along for it. but its super cool and impressive is my point you obviously dont have to lol

ok it does depend on where youre camping (like if youre just doing drive-up stuff and pitching right next to your car your supplies can be much more variable/limited but just genralizing)

tent (practice assembling in advance to make sure you kno how to do it and that you have everything)

sleeping bag

camping pillow (inflatable or easily compressed)

sleeping mat

extra blanket

flashlight/lantern (ideally both)

bug spray

sunscreen

trash bags

toilet paper

toiletries

warm clothing/undergarments (even if its the summer)

rain gear (jacket, poncho, etc)

towel

some sort of high energy snack. trail mix etc.

your choice of meal. this depends on what type of camping youre doing and what youll have access to

camp stove, mini camp stove, other portable fire (if you intend to cook). and gas

firewood (if you intend to cook that way, or are at a place with fire pits. always check regulations first)

cookware

lighter

first aid kit

water source (would recommend having a camelback AND water bottle, but at least a big water bottle) with you always, and have a few gallons of water in your car. its extremely important that you always have plenty of water. even if youre camping 2 inches from your car just always have water.

if youre just starting i would recommend going to a campground rather than dispersed camping, but if youre going for dispersed camping

check on your state/region/country's rules on dispersed camping. in the US at least its legal to camp in national forests.

look at a detailed map of national forest/otherwise legal campground boundaries and choose SEVERAL potential spots in advance, since sometimes youll go to a place that looks all fine and legal on the map but isnt in person. also check with the legality of where your car is parked just so you dont get in trouble

even if youre with other people, make sure theres at least someone outside of your trip who knows where youll be

always review dangerous animals in the area and how to deal with them in case of an encounter. the odds of a situation like that occurring are low, but you should be aware.

and in terms of finding a spot for dispersed camping, unless youre going all survivalist its pretty simple

find level ground, or at LEAST a place where your head will be 'uphill' (i accidentally wound up sleeping in a place with a slight decline and only found out when i woke up with all my blood in my head lol)

try to be somewhere out of view from the closest access point, just for privacy reasons

MEMORIZE how to get to the access point. even if its close by, its entirely possible to become disoriented in the woods and get turned around. ill sometimes spray paint little dots on trees if i want to be extra safe.

unless youre hardcore survivalist roughing it, avoid being too close to a water source (bc mosquitos)

dont camp in the middle of a natural trail bc animals will be walking there and you might get some very confused deer around your tent at night.

talk to a ranger for recommendations if needed. sometimes theyll be assholes, generally theyre at least helpful

and additional tips:

unless youre camping in the winter there will be bugs on your tent. there might be bugs in your tent. there might be spiders crawling over your tent. there might be spiders in your tent. its a fact of life.

be sure you have a good/securely attached rain cover bc its easy for your tent to get rained in, which ranges from unpleasant to dangerous.

wild animals will sometimes come and investigate your tent, just bc its a new thing in their environment. i had a harrowing skunk encounter a few months ago. just be prepared for that.

there might be weird noises at night, cracking twigs, etc. wild animals have a whole variety of terrifying noises. just remember that the things out there are easily scared by you, and the bigger danger is more like. hypothermia and stuff

it really does help for peace of mind if you have some sort of weapon (but make sure you know how to safely use it and dont brandish it). i sleep with a machete with me. and to be clear, the actual risk of needing to Use it is astronomically low, its more just a psychological thing

this might be weird but needs to be said: ppl who have vaginas may be less experienced/equipped to conveniently piss outdoors, which is an invaluable skill for this sort of thing. there are piss funnel things you can get, but if you dont have that it helps to squat with your back/ass against a surface like a log or rock, side of a tree, etc. sorry if this is gross but again, needs 2 be said

and of course as a rule yknow dont litter, take out any trash with you, bury any solid waste (if youre using the bathroom outdoors). be respectful of the land youre on, its people, its plants and animals.

What are your thoughts on Cores? Are they all a type of element? (i.e Ice, Fire, Plant, Electric, etc) Could they be based one some kind of temperature slider? What kind of core would the Lunch Lady have? Would she have a simple hot/fire Core? Or would she have a sort of strange “Meat” Core? Idk I’m asking you

i love the concept of cores! i like to think cores are like the ghost’s mind and heart (but rolled into one and put in their chest) with the “mind” half being their obsession and the “heart” half being their element. i like to think theyre all elemental like fire ice and all that! i feel a core merely fuels the ghost, and the element is just a minor detail dictating certain features (do they feel more hot or cold to the touch? is their image slightly more fuzzed out like fire or pulsing with electricity? are they more rigid yet see through like ice? ect. though these traits are hard to see unless your looking really closely or have a good eye like frostbite taking one look at danny and knowing he has an ice core). like its more how the ghost is comprised/holding its ectoplasm together so i dont believe it dictates what their literal powers are.

hmmmmm think about it like atla nations! like sokka is very clearly water tribe with his clothes, culture, weapons, and natural inclination to the cold but that doesnt mean he’s a waterbender. i think about cores like that basically if that makes any sense! a good example of core not equaling power would be ember, she would have a fire core but her powers is clearly based on sound and music despite the aesthetic! which brings us to our next point..........

im very inclined to the idea that obsessions are wrapped up along in the core. its essentially the gas tank to the whole operation. the more a ghost indulges their obsession the more powerful they become and this is where their true power comes from. the actual elemental part is just the outer shell glue holding everything together and only particularly powerful ghosts, ghosts fortunate enough to have their element and obsession align, or ones simply smart enough to figure out how to tap in would learn their element and use it outwardly.

lets use danny as an example of “a powerful ghost using his core”, danny’s power was building so much that he physically felt freezing no what temperature it was or how much he bundled up. even in ghost form he was constantly shivering. danny’s core was literally freezing him from the inside out and needed to release the excess energy, he had no choice but to learn how to do this and just use ice powers. on the other hand though, this means he can use his ice powers far more frequently and exclusively as his main mode of attack if he wanted to. basically ghosts in this category have no choice but to use their elemental core lest they become a ticking time bomb of repression to themselves (i also like to believe tapping into ones core is very difficult to do hence danny needing to be taught instead of like accidentally releasing it or something, many ghosts born with the POTENTIAL to have this really powerful core ability often cease to exist because it destroys themselves from the inside out. thats why theres not many of them). other examples of this category would be frostbite and undergrowth.

contenders for the “fortunate enough to have their element and obsession align” would be technus. electricity is probably the most common type of element for this category in all honesty. technus is obsessed with technology, and while i would say most of his powers are “possessing” technology with his basic package of ghost powers theres no denying the dude definitely has some sparks flying. i feel like if your obsession is already close to your element then its only reasonable you stumble upon a natural way to use it. but heres the key difference between a ghost like technus and a ghost like danny: if technus can use electricity all the time then why bother possessing electronics? simple answer is thats just not sustainable. danny is literally overfilling with energy, he has so much excess its spilling over and will literally kill him if he doesnt blast off a couple of ice beams here and there. technus is pulling energy from his core, its not excess, hes just tapping into this extra reservoir of power, but if he uses it TOO much he will have the exact opposite problem of danny. basically expending too much of your own battery that you die from lack of power. unless you are the first category of ghosts, tapping into your core at all should be used sparingly.

“simply smart enough to figure out how to tap into their core” would be ghosts like ember and skulker. a musician pop star would have nothing to do with fire, likewise a hunter with electricity, but these two are able to minorly use their element abilities. “smart” probably isnt the right word to use here, but more or less for one reason or another, these ghosts figured it out and are now using their cores. thats basically all there is to it. though i will say, having a core strong enough in general to have power to tap into in the first place is another deciding factor for all three of these categories. with that, lets move on to the last set of ghosts.

going aaaaaaaall the way back to your original question of whether or not a ghost like the lunch lady would have a “meat core” or something like that, the final group of ghost are ones that simply dont use their elemental core at all. they instead lean into their obsessions. ghosts in this category can be here for a number of reasons, perhaps the shell of their core is very minor and weak and they cant use that elemental power no matter how hard they try, perhaps theyre so focused on their obsession they may not even need their elemental, perhaps they just simply cant learn how to tap into their core at all because they dont have enough sentience.

i would say the lunch lady and the box ghost are the “too weak to use their elements” ghosts, but that doesnt mean they are powerless! i like to think all ghosts have a “basic package of ghost powers” with levitation/telekinesis being one of them, the only difference among the ghosts is how their obsessions dictate their natural affinity towards certain things. so while the lunch lady doesnt LITERALLY have a meat core, her obsession gives her the natural inclination towards food and meat. she can control these things with the most accuracy and power, it allows her to do things like making the meat suit and whatnot, its just what she’s best at controlling. regardless, these ghosts can never learn how to use their elemental core but thats okay. their obsessions is just a different path to take. speaking of which........

“so focused on their obsession they dont even need their elemental core” is clockwork. hes just so powerful on his own, why would he need to use that? does he even have an elemental core to control? who knows and who cares because the dude can LITERALLY CONTROL TIME. another example would be desiree, maybe even the ghost writer. these guys already gain so much power from their obsession it doesnt matter whether or not they have the ability to use them or not. thats sorta the beauty in this category! because you know who else can fit in here? TUE box ghost. thats right, just because your elemental core is too weak to tap into doesn’t mean youre weak. in the ultimate enemy, the future box ghost is genuinely powerful. his abilities to control boxes extend beyond just levitating and throwing them around, he can make these pink plasma boxes and hes a genuine threat to behold. he leaned into his obsession and it developed enough to this point of power. again, loop this back to the atla comparison i was making earlier, just because someone is a nonbender doesnt make them weak! those nonbenders lean into learning different skill sets until mastery and become very formidable foes. just because youre not born with it doesn’t mean you cant git gud. on the other hand......

the very last kind of ghosts are the “cant learn how to use their core because theyre not sentient/intelligent enough”. these are ghosts like the blob ghosts, ectopusses, maybe even cujo and other animal ghosts if we’re being honest. using your core doesnt come naturally, it needs to be taught and learned, you have to actually train to use it. so in cases like these ghosts, they just dont have the thought process to do this. hell, some of them like the blobbies may not even have fully formed obsessions. their more scribbles, raw ideas, pure emotion giving sentience to ectoplasm. with cujo (assuming he has an elemental shell strong enough), you could argue that you can train him to use his core like its a dog trick, but in all honesty this would be very very difficult to do and whether or not cujo can use it on his own is debatable.

Claude’s head was throbbing.

The room smelled amazing, which should’ve been his first clue that he wasn’t in his own bedroom; the last thing he remembered was getting into a shot contest with Hilda, another mistake that he kept making. He wasn’t one to get drunk at parties, even if Golden Deer house was the one that threw them all the time. He disliked getting drunk because he lost all of his important senses, and he preferred to be in control of himself, able to think clearly if he were to get into a bind.

He only drank on rare occasions, and on those rare occasions, he tried to have Hilda watch over him.

He rolls out of the bed as quietly as he can, approaching the bathroom before freezing. This was not his room. He was in unknown territory now. He slowly turned, as though he might find a wild animal in bed next to him rather than another person, but he’s glad to see drunk him still had good taste. He’d seen you around before, you’d rejected joining any of the other houses and had instead started your own that had a handful of people in it, but you’d also attended the party last night. He remembered trying to work up the courage to actually hit on you, which is most likely what had led to-

Oh, fuck, did he ruin his chances with you?

He wasn’t the type to indulge in flings a lot, they could be fun but he just didn’t prefer putting in effort on things that weren’t going to last. He had been genuinely interested in you and getting to know you, and now he can’t even remember if you had a conversation last night before he’d jumped into your bed. He worries about what he might’ve said, he had a tendency to stick his foot in his mouth when he was sober, he can only imagine the word vomit that had come out when he was inebriated. What kind of idiot did he make of himself? Would you want anything to do with him after a one night stand, or would it just be awkward interactions from here on out?

Claude realizes he’s thinking too deeply about something that didn’t matter at the moment, slapping both of his cheeks before entering your small bathroom. He just really needed to wash his face and try to wash the taste of vodka out of his mouth, he hated the shit but it did get him drunk when he needed it to. When he partied, he went all in, something he wouldn’t be doing for another few weeks at least until he’d picked the rest of his dignity up from the walk of shame he’d have to make this morning.

Also, where was his shirt?

As much as he liked staring at himself shirtless, he needed to find that before he headed back to his own dorm. He’s thankful that his phone is in his back pocket, glaring at the nearly depleted battery life, before shooting off a quick text to Hilda.

[Claude – Hey, I think you’re fired from watching me when I party. Am I in my bedroom?] [Hilds – I didn’t realize you were payin me. If thats the case then theres a lot of backpay u owe me] [Claude – I’m on my way back soon. How’s the damage?] [Hilds – Not bad u kno how Annette gets when shes drunk, cleans up after everyone she was the last to leave last night]

Relieved that he at least wasn’t going back to a completely trashed house, just one of the many downsides to being the biggest house who throws all the parties on campus, he stuffed his phone back into his jeans and walked back into your room. He’s horrified to find that you’re awake.

Even with your hair disheveled and make-up from last night a little smeared, you still looked absolutely stunning, and he has to quite literally pick his jaw up off the floor before he can finally speak. You seemed amused at him staring at you,

“So, uh, last night, wild, right?”

‘You sure have a way with words, Claude.’ He thought, mentally beating himself up for not even trying to recover from the embarrassing things that had probably occurred last night.

Claude was trying to pry, you noticed that immediately; he really didn’t remember a thing did he? He’s the one who had insisted on coming back to your dorm, just to see what it looked like, judge your taste, that sort of thing (according to him). He was so drunk he could barely make it when you brought him, which you had decided was only because you didn’t want to leave him at that party. Hilda was inhibited herself, and after letting Marianne know, you’d taken Claude into your own hands; a weird kindness to do for a man you barely knew, but he was cute, and you didn’t want him to get taken advantage of.

“You sound like you want to ask me something, Claude. Just ask! I’m curious to hear what words you’re gonna use.”

“Did we- you know, last night?”

‘Another smooth word choice, casanova. You really have the ladies lining up, don’t you?’

“Are you accusing me of taking advantage of a drunk person?” You tilted your head and smiled, making his head spin. You were really beautiful. Drunk him was an idiot for being so obnoxious and just rushing straight into bed with you when he should’ve savored getting to know you first. He felt like some type of loser saying that, but he’d always had a thing for getting to know the people he liked; he thinks that’s his inner journalist speaking, wanting to get to know the deepest depths of people, but that’s an issue to unpack another day. “Don’t write about me in the school paper, Mr. Journalism major, my reputation would be ruined.”

“Well, I think I can forgive you for now.” He was definitely in the more scandalous position right now.

“Here, you kind of threw this off at 5am after we finally got to sleep.” You handed him his shirt that he had actually tossed across your room last night in his drunken stupor, probably preparing to have sex before his head hit the pillow and he immediately passed out. You did consider sleeping on the floor, but this was your bed, and you were an adult, and HE was the invader, so he could just deal with the fact you’d slept next to him that night.

“You need any aspirin? I was worried I was going to be taking you to the infirmary for alcohol poisoning.”

“No, no, you’ve done enough… thanks, and I’m sorry for anything I might’ve said or done.”

“Well, you just repeated ‘You’re so goddamn beautiful’ over and over again. You were slurring the whole sentence together in the end, but I still understood.” Another dazzling smile is sent his way and it pierces through his heart, he almost wants to go back to the dorm room and cry into Hilda’s bed about what a terrible impression he’d made. “Give me your number.”

“Yeah, I’ll just be- What? Wait. You want my number? Like my phone number?”

“I have a sarcastic comment waiting in the wings, but I need to flirt with you before you get drunk again and my advances have to be cancelled out so I can take care of you. Yes, Claude, I would like your phone number. Just in case you need me again, you know?” You held out your phone for him to take. “Just put it in, if you’re okay with it.”

“Of course I’m okay with it.”

‘Way to sound too eager, now they know you’re single and lonely- You didn’t even know you were lonely until your 5th shot last night.’

You giggled as you took your phone back and the sound made his heart leap out of his chest; oh what he’d do to be back in your bed right now, basking in the afterglow of actually fucking instead of just waking up with a hangover. Now that he has this number, however, he hopes your bed won’t become a stranger- and of course, he planned on properly introducing himself and wooing you before he reached it again.

“I’ll see you soon?”

“Very soon. We have parties every Saturday, and for taking care of the leader, you’ve gotten yourself a VIP ticket to every one of them.”

kny is a manga w an anime adaptation thats had 1 season so far n a movies bein made of my fav arc!! (also this plot desc may not b perfect bc i havent read it in like 4 months)

its abt a boy called tanjirou whos whole family got killed by a demon, n his sister nezuko got turned into a demon (which fun fact: in kimetsu theyre man-eatin creatures w different powers called blood demon arts!!)

hes sent by giyuu (a demon slayer!) 2 join tha demon slayer corps so hell become stronger n mayb get a little revenge. as a treat (and also mayb find a way 2 turn nezuko human?)

as he trains he learns how 2 do water breathing (a sword technique taught by him n giyuus mentor, urokodaki) n his final challenge is 2 cut a massive boulder in half w his sword

its real hard 4 him (as u can imagine) so 2 kids in fox masks named sabito n makomo come n help him, but after tanjirou cuts tha rock n tells urokodaki abt him its revealed theyre dead???

@ final selection (basically a demon slayer entrance exam where u win by surviving on a demon-infested mountain 4 seven days) he learns from a real fucked up demon that hes exclusively been targetin urokodakis students n that not even sabito could slice its neck open?? (thats how him n makomo died)

after tanjirou kills tha demon n basically puts all tha water breath students’ souls @ peace he passes tha exam!! its been 7 days n now he gets his nichirin blade (the only kinda sword that can kill a demon, tha only 2 ways they can die is thru a slice 2 tha neck from a nichirin blade n sunlight)

turns out nezuko was turned by the strongest demon of all, michael jackson muzan kibutsuji, n so he sets out 2 hunt him down n try 2 kill him

but he aint so strong @ first so he needs 2 try 2 take down tha twelve kizuki first (the 12 strongest demons besides muzan)

another reason he needs 2 kill tha kizuki is 2 gather their blood for a demon named tamayo n her assistant yushirou!! tamayo can make a cure if tanjirou can gather blood samples 4 her (the stronger tha demon tha more of muzans blood they have so hes gonna have 2 aim high)

he meets a bunch more slayers along tha way, includin zenitsu (a scaredy cat thunder breath user who basically simps 4 nezuko n becomes a badass when hes asleep) n inosuke (a rowdy beast breath user who wears a boar mask n lived in tha mountains)

after lower moon 5 gets killed by giyuu, nezuko unlocks her blood demon art (exploding blood!) n tanjirou remembers how 2 use tha hinokami kagura, him n nezuko get captured by a slayer called shinobu qwq

turns out she n giyuu are 2 of the nine hashira, the strongest of all tha demon slayers!! but theyre all havin a debate over whether they should kill tanjirou n nezuko 4 goin against corps rules n travelin w a demon

eventually oyakata-sama (tha leader of tha slayer corps) comes in n tells em its ok, urokodaki sent a letter explainin that nezukos never hurt anyone n if she does, tanjirou giyuu n urokodaki all have 2 die basically

oyakata-sama also tells em that tanjirous met kibutsuji, at which everyone goes feral at (and understandably, none of em had ever even seen him before hes that elusive)

so they get 2 live bc theyre like. tha best hope the slayers have @ findin kibutsuji

the rest of the hashira are kyoujurou (flame), muichirou (mist), mitsuri (love), obanai (serpent), gyoumei (stone), tengen (sound) n sanemi (wind)

theres also kanao (shinobus pupil, flower breathing) n genya (sanemis brother, eats demons 2 gain power n basically become a demon temporarily, also He Has A Gun)

ive gone on a lot here so ill try 2 keep it brief now but i HAVE 2 explain infinity train or ill die (slight suicide tw but no one actually does that outside of dreams)

BASICALLY the lower 6 moons have a meetin @ kibutsujis infinity castle, muzan decides 2 dismantle tha lower moons bc they keep fuckign dying

all of em get their shit wrecked except enmu, who avoided death by usin muzans “dont tell me what 2 do” rule against him n beggin 4 death basically

so he gets a metric fuckton o blood n goes off 2 kill tanjirou

turns out he keeps killin people on his train n kyos gone 2 investigate!! the main gang (the kamaboko gang as the fandom calls it) are there too bc tanjirou needs 2 investigate what hinokami kagura really is (turns out its sun breathing, the og form and ones that only folks w the same mark on his forehead can use) n if anyone knows abt the alleged “fire breathing” as they know it rn its the fire hashira!!

so they get on tha train (inosukes lovin tha experience bc hes Literally Never Seen A Train Before) n kyo basically adopts the whole group

they take some tickets n promptly fall asleep HERES WHERE ENMUS DEMON ART COMES INTO PLAY!!! DREAM MANIPULATION BABEYYY

BASICALLY he can make people fall asleep in a buncha ways (the mouths on his hands, his weird eye thingies, the tickets) n once thats happened he n his henchmen can access said dreams (he can even control em!!) n if they find tha “spiritual core” they can destroy it n essentially leave em as an empty shell thatll never wake up!! yaaaaaay /s

he fails bc tanjirou realises a way out n its by cuttin his own head off in his dream, eventually everyones awake again n tanjirou finds enmu on tha roof(?) of tha train

after a while he does manage 2 decapitate him but surprise!!! hes not dead

turns out he literally FUSED WITH THA TRAIN n is plannin on eatin everyone inside, includin kyo n the gang

but he doesnt bc Main Protags Cant Die(tm) n dies while complainin that he wants a redo (sorry enmu, ily but u cant turn back time unless ur yoshikage kira)

also sidenote enmus tha only kizuki w/o a canon backstory as far as i can remember and????? H??

ANYWHO after that whole debacle basketball akaza (UPPER moon 3) shows himself!!! FUCK

n after all that struggle against the 8th strongest demon of all time now they gotta deal w tha 4th strongest????? damn,

so yeah it goes how youd imagine, its a tough fuckin battle n its Not Fun but it turns out kyoujurou fucking dies n i genuinely didnt realise until he said “kamado my boy, lets have one final chat” bc i was so in denial n lets face it i still am now

long story short idk how im gonna manage 2 get thru the movie w/o breakin down @ the end

anyway after that horrible horrible time tanjirou goes n meets senjurou, kyos little bro, who gives him kyos sword guard thing (its shaped like a flame!!) n i havent read it in a while so i cant FULLY remember but i think this is where he learns abt sun breathing??

after that they end up goin on a mission in tha red light district w tengen, his 3 wives are there 2 serve as spies (theyre kunoichi, which i think are ninjas of some kind??) n the boys have 2 find em

they do manage 2 find em but not after runnin into upper moon 6, who are 2 twins called daki n gyuutarou

after that fight tengen has 2 retire bc he got fucked up p bad from that fight n he wants 2 make sure tha girls are ok above all

so after that arc tanjirou n nezuko go down 2 tha swordsmith village (bc the guy who usually makes his swords is fuckin tired of repairin it) n run into mitsuri!! she tells tan that theres smth in tha forest thatll make him stronger

ngl this is tha arc i remember tha least abt so this desc is prolly SO inaccurate despite havin 2 o my favs in it)

but muichirou shows himself too n hes mean 2 tanjirou >:/ (he does get nicer eventually but 2 him specifically)

a 10 y/o kid named kotetsu shows tan this 6 armed trainin robot called yoriichi type 0 (based on tha first slayer 2 use sun breathin) n tanjirou breaks it by accident qwq

anyway so we have a whole buncha demons 2 deal w here except most of em are 1 demon split into different parts

in these fights mitsuri n mui get their demon slayer marks!! these are marks that they get when they surpass the limits of tha human body n they look like tha marks demons have (muis looks like clouds on his cheeks n mitsuris is 2 hearts on her collarbone)

next up is tha hashira trainin arc!! everyone gets trained by each of tha hashira 2 try n unlock their slayer marks

each have a dif trainin style that focuses on dif stuff (for example gyoumei focuses a lot on physical strength n stuff like that, obanai is more abt accuracy) n this is where giyuus backstory gets revealed bc he doesnt think hes worthy o bein a hashira :((

basically him n sabito were absolute besties!! they both trained together n sabito basically told him not 2 die ever

but it all goes wrong @ final selection- sabito manages 2 take down every demon on tha mountain but one of em, that bein the hand demon that exclusively targets water breathers (theyre easy 2 distinguish bc of their blue haoris n custom made fox masks)

he manages 2 save giyuu n everyone else from tha selection except 4 himself (this is why giyuus haori is like that- its made from his sister n sabitos haoris)

giyuu blames himself 4 both of their deaths bc he failed 2 protect em n says that he doesnt deserve 2 have passed tha selection let alone b a hashira,, but tanjirou convinces him otherwise!! ^^

then one day while giyuus trainin w sanemi disaster hits- oyakata-sama, his wife n two of their kids just died

the 2nd to last arc- the infinity castle!! thingsre gettin real n muzans revealed himself

in tha infinity castle EVERYONES there but can u really blame em theyve been workin up 2 this 4 millenia

shinobu runs into upper moon 2- douma, aka the bastard that killed her sister as well as inosukes mum

she is. justifiably pissed. n she gives it her all but he kills her :(( douma ily but also FUCK YOU.

so perfect timing!!! heres her adopted sister!! as well as inosuke!!!! revenge battle time >:0

in the end shinobus poison is what kills him- her whole body is filled w wisteria poison thats deadly 2 a demon so he basically consumed her whole body weight in poison rip

but ofc word gets out via messenger crow that shes dead n its just a real sad moment tbh :( but theres no time 4 that bc giyuu n tanjirou just ran into akaza >:((

so tanjirous pissed as hell now n w their combined efforts they take down tha basketball lookin bastard (bastardball??)

meanwhile obanai n mitsuri (n yushirou iirc?? he uses his own art 2 control her @ some point tho i cant remember when) deal w tha new upper moon 4 (nakime, whos also shiftin tha rooms around w her blood art n makin tha fight super fuckign annoyin tbh) n muichirou genya sanemi n gyoumei deal w kokushibou (upper moon 1, also tha original sun breathers twin brother so he gets moon breathin >:3)

mitsuri n obanai fake their deaths w help from yushirou n muzan falls 4 it, which comes in handy later ;3

zenitsu also deals w his former bully, upper moon 6 aka kaigaku aka dickhead supreme who if zenitsu didnt kill i would personally kill w my bare hands

so after everyones taken down all thats left is muzan >:( muzan kills tamayo real early on n everyones goin all out on him

we also learn that he has multiple brains n hearts in his body eww

also the hashira have their marks now!! but all but sanemi n giyuu get killed n giyuu loses his arm :((((

Look, I'm kinda dumb so don't judge me but what does kin mean?

Nah ur not dumb it technically means like, relative (“next of kin,” right?) but with the Advent Of The Internet™️ and tumblr and what have you, theres a contingent of folks who kin with characters or like... idk, animals, other things, it’s kinda all over the place and depends on who you ask, really. It’s also a p big sliding scale from “I relate heavily to this character and/or I’m projecting onto them as a coping mechanism” to “I AM this character and I have memories from being this character.” This is also why people say (and/or make jokes about) “no doubles” because the closer you are to the “I am this character” side of things the more you’re like...... idk if it’s just discomfort or actual animosity towards people who also kin that character? Regardless the no doubles thing just means you don’t want other people who kin a character you do interacting with you. Anyway. Point is there are people like me who are squarely in “I relate quite a bit to this character (or type of animal, or concept, or a whole host of things) and I’m definitely projecting a little onto them” territory, and there are other people who... take it a little more seriously and that can be fine or you can end up with. Kin dating and the disaster that was kinblr circa 2013 (you know, the time when the entirety of tumblr was also a dumpster fire).

For instance (and also allow me to expose myself to my nearly 600 and mostly grown ass adult followers lmao): I kin w/ Taako from TAZ Balance bc I can also be a huge asshole and have some Guilt Issues despite having ultimately done little to nothing wrong, and I’m also a lil dumb. Simple Idiot Wizard. Y’know. (Actually any time you see me tag anything with the letter k, I’m tagging it bc it’s one of my kintypes or related to it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯) However I dont claim to have like... memories from being Taako in a past life or anything, it’s just. A thing that makes me feel a little better for some reason that I genuinely can’t articulate to kin with him and a handful of other characters.

And yeah it’s always kind of had a bad/cringey wrap since that “on every level except physical I’m a wolf” thing became a meme (though I hear she’s out as a trans woman and doing well which is neat) it’s just one of those like, “as long as you’re not hurting yourself or anyone else do whatever makes you happy” things. I know a lot of ppl start kinning when they’re younger, like 13 or 14, but I didn’t like. Recognize it as a thing until I was like 19 (once I was like “fuck cringe culture I’ll do what I want thank you very much”).

Also I’m not the authority on this I’m just kinda relaying my experience. There are TONS of resources out there though and blogs with way more information (and better articulated information at that) than my tired ass can supply to you. It means a lot of different things to a lot of different people and I guarantee someone on this hellsite would burn me at the stake for describing it the way I have (even though I’m not wrong, I just have a different approach to it). PART 10: The Treaty

NOVAS POV

The next day Paul picks me, Seth and Embry up from school. As spoken of yesterday, we are on our way to the border to have said meeting with the Cullens. Whilst I jump into the front seat of the car Seth and Embry take a seat behind us. Both Seth and Embry speak a brotherly hi to Paul whilst I notice Paul's a little bit out of thought, not responding to any of our greetings. Just by looking at him I notice how tense he is, making me imedietly put my hand on top of his that's placed in his lap.

"Are you okay?" I ask, looking straight at him as he looks back into my eyes with uncertainty. He breathes out and shortly shakes his head, giving me a sad look while doing so. "I'm just worried I guess. Knowing all of them will see you and meet you, they will probably like your smell and looks. In difference from the other imprints you have a different feature, including the way you talk. The will be interested in that and Im just worried they will try to separate you from me. Even if they seem nice they are nothing but predators preying on innocent creatures, including humans" He says with a worried, concerned tone placing my both hands in both of his, holding them tight. I nod understandingly at his words, understanding that this probably has been nagging him all day.

"Paul they haven't harmed anyone for centuries, even less so a human of sort." Seth says defending the Cullens siting behind my back as Paul imedietly turn his gaze from my face to Seth's shy form. Paul snarls at his pack mate, making me imedietly understanding the seriousness of the situation. Quickly I place both my hands on Paul's face, trying to take his attention from Seths words back to me.

"They even hurt fucking Bella, Edward's mate just because one of them couldn't handle a paper cut on her finger. So don't come and tell me they wouldnt do the exact same thing to Nova if they did get the chance." Paul growls at his brother as I repetietly start saying Paul's name, not soon enough making Paul focus back at me. Embry sits behind Paul ready to drag out a wolf or two as both Paul but also Seth is shaking, probably out of different reasons.

"Paul don't fight your brother, he has said nothing wrong and ofcourse I will not let them get to me. I'm your imprint and not theirs. Or their friend for that matter. Don't worry, calm down baby, I'm not going anywhere." I calmingly say to Paul as he takes big breaths in order to calm himself. His eyes are closed, making me feel unsure as if I should keep my hands on his face, mostly because he seems so unsure of what to do with himself right now. But soon he still leans into my embrance opening his eyes again, also calming me as he sends me a apologetic smile.

"I'm sorry Seth, I didn't mean to yell at you. I've been worried all day, wondering what they will think of her. I'm hating that they even get to see Nova in the first place, cuz if it weren't for them we wouldn't have to be this cautios in the first place." He sighs holding my hands in his placing gentle kisses into my palms before turning to Seth who already faces him.

"Don't worry Paul, I understand. I would also be as worried as you are if my imprint were to meet with vampires I didnt trust." He explains as Paul nods agreeingly.

"Yeah, and since we are already late I suggest I start driving. I just got to say a proper hi to my baby first" Paul says turning back to me, leaning over his seat into mine to giving me a long wet kiss that makes the guys in the back sigh and me laugh into the loving gesture.

"Hi to you too baby. Let's go before we get there too late." I smile as he give me one last short kiss on my mouth. As we separate he gives me one of his sexy smiles while licking his lips that just makes my stomach flutter.

"Let's go and meet some leetches"

As Paul is stil parking the car, Seth and Embry jumps out of it. Whilst Seth seems to wait for me and Paul, Embry phases, giving us a quick look before running into the forest to meet up with the rest of the pack. Paul then easily unbuckles both mine and his own belts, surprising me as I just realise what we are about to do.

"Wait, how are you gonna take me there now that we don't have the car?"I ask turning to him already knowing the answer. He holds my hand in his, stroking it calmingly as he answers.

"I guess you are gonna have to ride on my back, if you are okay with that?" He says unsurley of how I am gonna react as his eyes stays locked at the floor. Paul scratches his neck with his empty hand before looking back up at me. I nod agreeingly, still processing the whole thing.

"Yes I guess it's fine I just didn't.. Expect it would ever happen. But sure, sure. Let's do it."I answer smilingly making him smile before both of us jump out of the car.

Stepping out of the car Seth then shifts infrot of our very eyes, chocking me a little since I've only seen Paul in wolfform this upfront before. Just like Paul he has a greyish type of fur, but Seth's is more brown/dark toned. Whilst Seth slowly walks up to me, letting me pet him, Paul starts to undress before throwing both his shirt and pants into a nearby bush. Then I realise he stands maybe a few inches away from us almost naked, making my cheeks turn red as i focus entirely on Seth's incredibly soft fur to not get even more embarrassed with my own dirty thoughts spreading through my mind like a fire in a forest.

After Paul has phased, he walks over to where Seth and I stands, almost pushing away his brother to take back my focus to him from his younger packmate. I laugh at the sudden motion, getting a even wider grin on my face when Seth starts whining since he now couldnt get anymore pets from me. Paul let's out a sound that only could be described as a 'Thats right' to Seth, learning him who's imprint it's actually is. At that I laugh too.

"Come on Paul, I can pet him too" I speak as Paul just breathes out in my face, probably as an answer of no, before pulling me even closer with his giant paw placed on my back. It's almost like we are hugging when he places his very heavy head as much as possible on my not so strong shoulder so that his fur caresses against the side of my face and neck. I reach my arms around him as much as I can, my arms almost imedietly disappearing into his thick fur. He then does something I didn't even know they could do, he starts purring.

You heard right. He purrs. And just like that reality hits me, that all of this is real and in a even more surreal manner, I am about to meet my own doctor, and his family who's all vampires.

After standing like that for a moment, just enjoying each other's presence, I simply let go of Paul, only to hear another whine, but from Paul this time as I smilingly shake my head looking up at Paul's eyes, meeting a loving gaze. He then looks over at Seth, communicating trough their minds before looking back at me, now with a more serious look on his face. Since Paul and I always need to have some type of psychical contact, I let my hands gently caress the fur that I reach whilst they talk to eachother, just about where his cheek would have been if he would have been human. And even tho he's maybe 3 feet taller then me, he gently closes his eyes for a second, like a small puppy getting petted by his owner. And maybe at this moment he is just as me wishing we wouldn't have to do this in the first place.

Then I nod, understanding what they were taking about without even having to mention it. Getting a nod back from him as he turns back around, he then crouches. I walk slowly up to him before gently placing myself on his back, with a little help from Seth who pushes my unsteady ass up Paul's back. And then we're off.

I can feel Paul running a little bit slower then he usually would have, and also much more gentle. Especially since Seth splashes in any puddle he sees whilst Paul runs around it, jumping and swinging with his wolf shaped like body as little as he can.

When we arrive everyone is there, waiting. I can feel the vampires watch me with interested eyes, and even Carlisle seems interested in my appearance. Since Paul is third in command, I am placed between Sam and Paul, with Jacob, Quil, Leah and Seth on Paul's side and Jared, Embry and Collin and Brady on Sam's side. Sam is the only one in human form, probably so I feel less alone as the only human. Carlisle starts.

"Good day, Sam, Nova, and the rest of the pack. Before we start I would like to introduce my family to your newest packmember, is that okay?" Carlisle asks with a nice, genuine tone. Since Carlisle already looks at me, Sam turns to me too as I nod before mouthing my answer for the rest of the pack and the Cullens. Carlisle smiles.

"Very well. I just want to start with of saying that even tho you now know things about me and my family that you might not find so pleasant, i promise you that my family would never do anything to try and harm either you or the pack. We have a deal and I also find it morally wrong to hurt someone at all. That's why I am a doctor after all and after this meeting I would hope to see that you still have enough trust in me and my family to stay a patient of mine?" Carlisle speaks direct to me as if neither Paul or the rest of the pack was even there. Paul snarls at his words but gets ordered to back down by Sam. Soon I can feel Paul's soft fur brush against my own arm, knowing he craving some sort of contact to calm down. I answer.

"I don't think anything of you except for what I know. But I have chosen a side and it will always be with the wolves, but you are still my doctor yes. I need the treatment." I speak honestly, earning a sympthic look from the woman on his right. Carlisle seems to notice my curiosity about the other vampires almost imedietly and happily thanks for staying his patient before he starts to introduce his family.

"This is my wife Esme" He starts, putting his arm around the woman to his right. She smiles at me, waving as I wave back, not wanting to be rude. Her hair is dark brown and her eyes carries a golden tint, just like the rest of them. She's also very beautiful, just like the rest of them. It's almost as if you are not supposed to know what really lays behind the surface.

"And this is Emmett, with his wife Rosalie-" Carlisle speaks pointing at a very bulky man and a woman with beautiful golden hair. The man, Emmet waves at me as the woman, Rosalie just rolls her eyes. I nod, saying a short hello to both of them before he continues. "And then here we have Edward and Bella, but also their daughter Renesmee." Carlisle presents a family of three. The little girl smiles at me, carrying the same beautiful black hair as her mother whilst her dad has a reddish/blondish type of color in his. As I realise they are the ones Seth and Paul talked about in the car, I shiver at the thought of how Renesmee came to life and still can be alive, gaining a almost bewildered look from the man across the field, the dad whose eyes are now staring down my soul. Paul growls again, feeling the stare from Edwards eyes laying on top of me. I look down as some of the packmembers seems to talk to him through their mindlink. He places himself even closer to me, now close enough so that his furry side is pressed to my human. Carlisle keeps on going.

"And lastly but certainly not least, we have Alice and Jasper." He presents the last two vampires, and to be polite I smile at the girl with pixi hair and a shy smile placed on her lips. But the second our eyes meet her mouth turns straight and it's almost as she zooms out, seeing something. Jasper, the man next to her directly places his hands on her shoulders turning her so she faces him. He asks what is happening and what she sees but she doesnt answer.

A few moments later, Edward jumps in.

"She sees your future. It's amazing." He says just as shocked as the rest of them look. Even the wolf pack turn to stare back at little me. I frown.

"Thats not possible, you can't see the wolves future. Never have."I try, repeating what Paul had told me hours earlier by text. Alice gets back from her trance, looking back at me. Her mouth agape.

"He's so beautiful" She whisperes even tho all of us hear her clearly. Edward closes his eyes, focusing on something.

"Who?" Sam commands. Alice them turns to Paul, smiling.

"Don't worry. He's gonna have her eyes." She says smilingly to Paul while the rest of us still stand there like idiots. "Who are you talking about Alice?" I ask determinedly. She looks yet again back at me.

"Your son." And just like that, the whole forest turns quiet. The only thing i feel is my own beating heart, and the only thing I hear is Paul's heating heart. It can't be true, I shake my head.

"Impossible." I say. "You can't see the wolves future and even less so who's gonna have children and when"

"He's here in a year, I can even tell you his name if you dont believe me" She says taking a step forward, trying to interact but only gets a collective snarl from everyone in the pack. She directly takes her step back, hands in the air. Sam turns to me and Paul, unsure of how to act.

"You believe ve her?" I ask. But before he gets time to answer, Edward interrupts.

"She is telling the truth. And even tho we don't know how this is happening yet, I can see it too, a part atleast. It's almost like you are blocking me out. One second I can read your thoughts but the other I hear dead silence. Like NOW! Nothing" I shake my head. "I guess maybe I switch singnals, I don't know. Im not doing anything." I shrug my shoulders. Paul looks down at me with his beautiful darkbrown eyes, licking my face before lowering his head even more, to my stomach.

"We haven't even had sex yet." I whisper to him even tho I know everyone listens. He stands up straight again, facing me. The look I get is happiness, and love, as if even tho anything of it hasn't happened yet it is what he wants.

"He says it doesn't matter. He wants that future" Edward irritably peaks in as I give him one angry look. "Stop ruining our moment" I speak with a angry tone earning somewhat a collective laugh from everyone in the pack. Paul yet again licks my cheek and butts his head in a affectionate manner at my shoulder. I smile.

"Alright we'll talk more about this at home. We got other things to talk about now" I caress his big furry head one last time before Carlisle jumps in, continuing the meeting.

"Since Nova already is a patient of mine I see it as a duty for me, and my family to transport her safely through our land to the hospital and then back to your land when she is treated." Carlisle says as Sam nods in agreement. "This far we all agree. Nova needs to be transported by company at all times. We take no risk in her going alone." Sam answer before Carlisle continues.

"Ofcourse. We can also allow that someone follows through with her, as requested, but only one." The blond haired man carrying a jacket with a scarf on top and jeans says, making the majority of the pack snarl, the grupp of wolves disappointed in it only being one allowed to follow through when a imprint can be put at such risk.

Sam shakes his head.

"I want there to be atleast two the first three times. And if It all goes well by then, then we might consider a follower of one." Sam order's as Carlisle take a long look at both Edward but also Alice before they gather in a small circle quietly discussing the offer. I don't hear anything from it, but soon they turn towards us again, stand back to where they stood before with their mates.

"We accept the offer, but only if Renesmee is allowed to try her power on Nova. It won't hurt her, Nessie will just try to show her a mental picture." Edward speaks up, turning to his daughter. Renesmees gaze on the other hand is already laid on me, and unlike the rest of the coven she has brown eyes. Our eyes met and I nod, agreeingly. "Sure" I say. "Now?" Carlisle smiles at me. "If that's okay with you".

"Yes" I speak, hoping that Sam and Jake agrees to let me go, and as I take a step forward they don't protest, so I continue. But I only get to make two steps before Paul butts in.

When I try to take a stup further Paul stands himself infront of me, blocking the way. He growls at the cullens as I try to make my way around him. Then again, he blocks me from taking another step.

"Paul let her go. She's just gonna meet Renesmee." Sam order's as Paul meets his alphas gaze. He shakes his head, almost looking like he's about to go against his alphas order.

"He can go with her. We don't mind" Alice sweet almost pitchy voice catches the attention, surpricing not only the wolves but her own mate Jasper. Sam nods, motioning for us to walk over to them. Jasper disagrees.

"What, no. We need to keep a distance, Alice." He speaks determinedly mentioning towards Paul's defensive behavior and the fact that if someone in the pack attacks someone from the Cullens or vice versa there will be war. She shakes her head.

"He won't hurt anyone, as long as he gets to go with her." She speaks as if she let alone read his mind. Paul looks back at me, asking the silent question as I nod.

"Sure, if everyone's okey with it then?" I ask meeting Sam's approving gaze one last time before me and Paul slowly walks over to Renesmee, Bella and Edward. Once we are standing a few feet infrot of them, Renesmee leaves her safe place between her two parents, walking over to me with Paul standing protectively against my left side. Meeting her gaze she feels far more older then the age of her body, a soft look on her eyes even tho she's standing a few inches from a wolf who would tear her to shreds without a seconds doubt if she even took a step to close.

She reaches out with her 12 years old hand at us, in a quiet ask to hold my cheek. I nod, letting her place it on top of my cheek, crouching a little whilst doing so since she's shorter than I am.

She shows me her parents, Isabella and Edward, but she calls them mom and dad in her mind. It's the first memory she has of them, right after she was born. Then she shows me their house, continuing with Carlisle and Esme bringing her bicycling, but also Emmet and Rosalie playing with her. I even get to see Jasper and Alice cooking for her, making her her favorite dish of all time, lasagna. I smile at the mental pictures, feeling like the Cullens are more human then I just recently expected them to be. She shows me that they just like the pack want to live their lives at peace.

She then continues, all suddenly changing the pictures from her family to mine. Showing me a picture of Paul before he met me, unhappy and angry, some pictures even ache in my chest when I see how close they were to actually kill her. But finally they came to an understanding, with an agreement that Renesmee stayes homeschooled till the day she on paper turnes eighteen. From today, thats 15 years till then.

Continuing, she shows a picture of me and Paul now, his eyes glued on me whilst he carries the biggest grin on his face, obviously me wanting to note the difference between the first and the second. He is happy now, and it fills my chest with warmth at the thought.

I pull away when she shows me a picture of what she thinks our baby will look like. And just like Alice's vision he carries my grey eyes, but that's all I am able to see before I pull away. Paul directly stands himself infront of me in a matter of milliseconds, snarling at the little girl and what she showed me that he saw made me wince.

I reach out to caress his back, showing him she did nothing wrong. I speak. "Thank you Renesmee, that was beautiful" My tone is calm, and my words short, wanting to change the subject before any of the Cullens wants to continue the subject knowing they all know what she just showed me.

"I'm sorry if I showed you something you didn't like. I just" Her voice is small and almost ashamed, and as she tries to finish her sentence Paul snarls at the little girl, making both Sam but also her parents react. Sam imedietly calls back Paul as all of the Cullens have their eyes even more focused on us.

"Paul it's fine, just stand behind me and try to breathe. Nothing will happen. I'm just talking to Renesmee."I take his big head in my small arms, caressing the soft fur in my hand in a soothing matter. He breathes out in my face and licks shortly at my cheek before doing as I say. Turning back to Renesmee, I genuinely excuse Paul for his actions. She smiles at me.

"It's fine. Mom and dad tells me I am very strong for my age so I understand his need to protect you." She say, turning back to her parents who both of them send her a small smile. I nod.

"I get it, don't worry. But thank you for showing me, it was really interesting."I state before I turn back to Paul, ready to walk back to the rest of the pack.

"Wait!" She exclaims taking fast steps following me, crossing the invisible line between the Cullens and The packs territories that I and Paul just crossed on our way back. Everybody around the field freezes, including Paul. Now she is currently on Pack land, giving everyone in the pack allowence to any second rip her apart if they so wished, and the Cullens can't do anything about it. She is on their treaty without permission.

Imedietly understanding the seriousness of the situation, I turn back around to try and push her back over, getting even more worried as she doesn't move. She is quite strong for a twelve years old.

"Hey Renesmee, please step back. Just a few steps. Please. I don't want you hurt" I beg her meeting her beautiful brown eyes as I realise she has the eyes of her mother, before the change. She grasps at my hand. Making Rosalie cover her mouth in shock, and Isabella looking like she would be crying if she could. I suck in a breath.

"Renesmee please let go of me and walk back to your parents. Now." I exhale. She looks down, hurt by my harsh tone.

"Will you be my friend?" She asks. I look around me meeting not only Sams gaze but also Jacobs, then Edward's, Jasper, and Alice'. They all carry the same frown on their face, everybody absolutely terrified anything is gonna happen to her. No one wants a war.

"Will you go back to your parents if I am willing to be you friend?" I ask, meeting her gaze. She nods at me with a wide grin placed on her face. She pulls me in for a tight quick hug before walking back over the invisible line and towards her parents. In matter of milliseconds they have run to her and picked her up before running back to where they stod before. Bella carries a mad expression on her face as she looks down at her daughter. Edward just seems bewildered by the whole scenery.

Sam clear his throat, getting back the attention from everyone being focused on Renesmee. I walk back the last part of the field with Paul, soon standing together with the rest of the pack. Paul rubs his whole side against me whilst turning back towards the Cullens, probably as a way of trying to calm me down. She put alot at risk just because of me.

"Now that Renesmee did get to try and show Nova her visions, which did work, I would like to call this meeting canceled" Sam order's as Carlisle smiles in agreement. "As you may please. But before you go, I would like to welcome Nova to come visit our home sometime. Whenever and with whoever she wishes ofcourse." Carlisle speaks meeting my questioning gaze. Meeting Sam's eyes he seems just as baffled at the statement.

"Sure. Thank you. I'll see you during my next treatment" I speak, Carlisle nodding. "Yes. See you on wednesday, goodbye." Carlisle speaks as Sam changes back into a wolf, ready to head back to the reservation.

"Goodbye" I wave, getting a wave back from Renesmee as Paul let's me hop on his back again by laying down flat on his four paws. Whilst Paul stands up with me on his back, I send a last glanse at the already gone Cullens before Paul and I join the pack.

With my arms placed securely as far as I manage around the wolf's troath, we start to run in unison with the pack. Since Paul is third in command, he places himself next to Sam and Seth. Taking a look at each individual of the pack, all of them run with such grace, and ease, like they were born to do exactly this.

The ride is over almost too soon, and as the rest of the pack slows down, Paul does the same. It looks like we are back by Emily's and Sam's house, and without me even noticing, two wolves have left the pack, probably to go pick up the car Paul picked us up with. Paul let's me down next to a large tree trunk before disappearing into a bush nearby.

"Gosh, thought that pale ass never would stop talking. Even weirder when they invited you into their home. I wouldn't take that offer if I were you, I mean what did you do in difference from the other imprints they've met?" Embry is the first one done changing back into his jeans shorts. With his hands in his pockets and his hair a little bit all over the place he walks over to me, speaking whilst doing so.

I get quiet at his words, unsure how I should answer. Why did they invite me if they haven't invited the other imprints? Sam soon takes my defence.

"Let her be Embry. Nova did as she was expected and I can promise you she knows just as little as you do about the Cullens and their wierd ideas." Sam tells, walking out of another bush as also Jared and Seth does the same. Seth runs over to me.

"Dude! They want you as their friend. Please you gotta take me there if you ever go! I haven't gotten to wrestle with Emmet in weeks!" Seth exclaims with a happy grin on his face, putting his hands on my much smaller biceps, shaking me in excitement. If the ride on Paul's back didn't shake me enough, Seth just did.

"Ah come on Seth, you wanna hangout with those palefaces? I get that wolf who sadly imprinted on that disgusting half vampire and therefore have to hangout with her just as stupid family, but please, you?" Jared interrupts, making Seth turn his gaze to his packbrother standing behind him, also him on his way walking over to us.

"Calm down Jared, it's not like you have to spend extra time with them just because they invited Nova. And if you don't like them that's actually not my problem" Seth defends as Jake comes out of another bush, the two younger wolves (Brady and Collin) soon following behind. All three of them, but also Sam and Embry starts making their way over to the house, leaving me behind with Jared and Seth and Paul.

"Who's gonna spend extra time with Nova?" The familiar warmth from Paul's hands reaches my hips, calming me even more as I hear his deep voice just a few inches from my right ear. I shudder when I feel his strong chest lightly getting pressed to my back.

"The palefaces."Jared frowns as I can feel Paul secure his arms around my waist, I lean into the embrance feeling him gently place his head on top of mine. "Alright. Its not like I can deny my girlfriend the treatment she needs, even less so have any of my packmates talk shit about it." Paul explains with a defensive tone as Jared shrugs his shoulders. "Fine. But we don't want another love triangle between a human, wolf and vampire. Who knows what went through their minds seeing her for the first time." Jared states reaching up his hands in a surrending manner, just wanting to explain, no fights. Paul growls.

"All of them are mated Jared. And if they were to ever try anything I'd rip them apart right then and there." Paul speaks as Seth nods agreeingly. "Yeah, especially now that Nessie is old enough to actually hang out with the her mate" Seth includes.

"Alright, fine. Have it your way. Now let's go inside, im starving."Jared says changing the subject completely, Paul nods.

"Yeah, let's eat. And then we can discuss a little further on who's gonna come with us during the treatments. Anyone you'd prefer, Nova?" Paul says with a calm tone, looking down at me as we walk over to the house. I bit my lip in thought. "I'll have to think about that one."

I was going to take a break from this website but @surrealistwaltz tagged me for this 21 questions quiz, thank you!! This is gonna take me back to those 2005 Myspace days, these are fun.

Nicknames: My names Philip so a lot of family and even a few coworkers call me Philly which is nice, it's comforting and endearing. Also one of my friends mom called me Philomena and another friends Dad would call me Philbert which made me laugh. Also probably some bad ones lol.

Zodiac: I don't really put a lot of stock in zodiac signs but I'm a Leo

Height: I'm 6 feet or 1.82 (omg) meters tall.

Amount of sleep: I dunno what this is asking but I got like 4 hours last night?

Last movie I saw: I just recently watched deadman, its one of my favorites. It's kinda like an artsy, psychadellic, like, I dont wanna say western because that genre has an lot of tropes and cliches that this movie doesn't really have but it's set when industrialzation was starting to spread towards the west, more specifically to the film, the Pacific northwest of the US. It's a good movie to watch on a rainy, chilly night.

Last thing I googled: what 6 feet is in meters ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I suck at math.

Favorite musician: I'm taking this question as favorite single musician and I have lots but the first 2 that come to my head are Chopin and Klaus Flouride (one of my fav bassists)

I was in the market today and it was playing and I was singing it to myself, then I noticed a lot of people were doing the same and they were all different age groups and genders, it was cute. Do I get asks: Lol I actually haven't had an ask yet. Wish I did though, I can be fun sometimes.

Blogs following: I like following lots of different stuff. This is a place I like, try to expose myself to art, music, and other things that put my heart in a nice place. It can backfire sometimes though, whether its something that puts me into feelings or seeing people being stupid in comments or you know, the fact racist blogs can exist on here. I'm happy I made this though, it's been more positive than negative for sure.

What I'm wearing: I'm wearing some sort of cardigan like sweater that doesnt open up or have buttons and its burgundy (my fav color) with black jeans and socks tbh. Also my glasses.

Dream trip: Prague would be interesting, theres a lot of cool art and architecture there. I'm not religious or anything but I feel like visiting St. Peter's Square would be really surreal and kind of creepy? Going to a place like Australia or what @surrealistwaltz said, Greenland would be neat. I feel like those places could make you feel as though you're on a completely different planet.

Dream Job: I wanna teach history! Preferably high school, then if I cant stand how kids act I'll work my way up to the collegiate level. I wanna teach history because looking back at what we learn in schools here in America is watered down, especially when it comes to the bad that Americans have done and the negative impact its had on groups of parole and honestly, bug chunks of the globe.I believe there needs to be at least on teacher in a students k-12 scholastic career who calls out the borderline history revisonment that is being taught to kids so wrecklessly. The United States definitely needs to do what they do in Germany when it comes to teaching about atrocities committed in the past. Whomever is on the winning side of history should NOT MATTER. If theres a group of people that has been suppressed or continues to be suppressed, there needs to be at least ONE person who introduces the brutal hard truth of what happened. Here in the states you get the "I didn't participate in slavery or the genocide of Native Americans, it's not something I need to hear in detail" and it literally pisses me off, it misses the whole point of education. This fires me up, sorry.....

Favorite food: literally any type of pasta or noodles. It doesnt matter if it's in soup, if its Italian, Chinese, Japanese, vietnamese, if it has noodles and doesn't have meat then I'm so happy to just demolish whatever is in front of me. Also chips and salsa is refreshing and satisfying. I'm half Mexican so any type of Mexican food that doesn't use anything from animals is always a go to. My fav fruits are cherries, tangerines, and pears. My favorite veggies are asparagus, green beans, broccoli, and Brussels sprouts. I can make some v good Brussels sprouts.

Languages: ehh I speak pretty bad Spanish but the foundation is there so when I decide to take it back up when I go to a university, I should be able to learn a lot easier than I did in high school. If not because I have foundation and basic understanding of the language then its because I actually WANT to learn it as opposed to when I was a teenager. German would be really cool too because if I teach and I get upset I can just yell in German and people would think I'm actually insane and hopefully would cut out whatever nonsense they were doing.

Play any instruments: I play Bass off and on. I first got my bass when I was 12, I would just mess around until I was like 14, then I taught myself how to read bass tabs so if there was a song I really liked, I could look up the tablatures and teach myself how to play it and still do that. I wish I would've taken lessons though.

reasons for being my favourite:

• fucking. look. at. him. 👌

• 'mad german doctor' is one of my favourite tropes and he is a pretty bang-on satirical depiction of it

• cute-ass german accent

• he has pet pidgeons hE LOVES HIS PIDGEON PALS THEY KEEP HIM COMPANY

• healers are the most respectable class imo and since Medic pretty much started it he's automatically the best, thats how it works right?

• he sold some random persons soul to satan in exchange for a ***ballpoint pen*** and can i just say, fucking mood??? (he is literally the "i'd sell you to satan for one cornchip" meme)

• "yes, Archimedes...I couldn't agree more." *shudders* b oi .. .

• so many more reasons to love this gross old doctor so little room in Tumblrs posts.

reasons for being my second favourite:

• cranky, done with everyones shit, just wants to be left alone, fucking mood

• he's a spy i mean c'mon. look at the swanky-ass suit, look at the class radiating from this asshole.

• he may be a dick but he has a soft side he's just too jaded to show it most of the time (see: Scouts death in the comics?? real tears. honestly wish they'd panned that out more.)

• masks are hot tbFH--

• he enjoys a nice glass of whisky by the fireplace and so do i (fun fact: france is the biggest importer of scottish whisky in the world so its a nice touch)

• shapeshifting is fucking cool are you serious like he can just. do that. what a legend

• arrogant frenchman is one of my other favourite tropes and this is the most arrogant frenchman ive ever seen

• he's the only fully sane Merc, maybe apart from Engie.

• people love to hate him bc he's an asshole but...come on. after working with all those other weirdos for years, you'd be pretty jaded too.

• as a gross shipper, he's the easiest and the most fun (imo) to ship with Medic (rip me)

~~3. Pyro~~

reasons for being my third favourite:

• would have tied with Soldier if it werent for that one picture of them in the comics holding a puppy over their head with the most adoring expression on their mask??? good Pyro. goodest Pyro.

• doesn't do much in the comics but makes up for it in pure charm. look at that soulless face and tell me you dont love it.

• ambiguous gender ambiguous gender amBIGUOUS GENDER AMBIGUOUS GENDER. she/he/they? trans? nb? whatever you headcanon, it'll never be confirmed so its literally up to your own imagination. fucking ace, Valve 👌👌👌

• likes to burn things. god damnit. they like to burn things, guys. but they enjoy it so much, you just cant hate them, you can only feel a sympathetic joy that this precious lunatic is having fun in their own little world.

• canonically mentally ill (schizoprenia? it could be hallucinogenic drugs but i like to think its schizophrenia.)

• pretty sure they burned a pair of pedophiles in the comics. at least i think thats what those panels were insinuating. "lets open an orphanage and have an endless supply of kids to--" sounds pretty red-flaggy to me tbh. plus they were the villains so, eh?

• bludgeoned a bear to death until its skull was pulp because it insulted their special interest. you go, Pyro.

• for a few bits in the comics they have a really cute family dynamic going on with other Mercs, Soldier for example."Miss Pauling, Pyros on my side of the car." "Miss Pauling, Pyro cut off my hand." fuckin' cuties.

• when they start putting on like 50 shirts to keep warm in the Russian mountains. chubby.

• a gas mask that can function as both badass, and completely adorable.

• just. everything about them. how could you not love them. they're not in the wrong, you are. stay away from my misunderstood child and let them burn things god damnit.

~~4. Soldier~~

look I'm sorry, I love Soldier and he was gonna be tied with Pyro but that fucking puppy drawing sold me.

• absolute gold every second he speaks. he could sneeze and i'll laugh.

• such a dumbass you cant get annoyed at him for it. like. just agree with him and move on. no point reasoning with a boulder. "haha! silly Miss Pauling, thinking theres different types of blood." Medic: "haha yes! indeed, silly."

• HUTTAH *NECK SNAP*

• i'm not American and even i can see how blatantly his character mocks stereotypical Patriotic Americans™. but its so dumb and laughable, its adorable.

• EVERYTHING ABOUT HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH ZHANNA IS A BLESSING. EVERYTHING.

Finished Aesthetic //  Evaluation

The set-up of the table itself and the entire aesthetic is complete. I wanted it to have such a stereotypical aesthetic that it comes across as a genuine ‘pop-up’ coffee shop - which is something i seem to of achieved with extreme effect. The  intention was to make people not actually realise that this was an art project -but rather a step forward into commercial design, and a representative of a collaborative project that has taken place between me and Starbucks.

Its quite an amazing position to of landed myself in, and it seems as though the fellow artists in the school don't realise it is an art collaborative - which is a brilliant perspective, because this is exactly what i was trying to achieve. And if the artists don't instinctively understand that it is a simulacra then theres a high chance that neither will the audience. 

The positioning is perfect - the only thing i have come across is the principal that the wire to plug it in runs underneath a fire exit - which could be a potential error. The way around this though is the fact that i have to be in the same location as my art work - so because I'm present, this is a loophole that i can use to my advantage.

Also, I absolutely love the quality of the images, which i believe only adds to the commercial principal of the collaborative - hence why i utilised the photography in a way which was effective enough to showcase. 

So, an evaluation.

I feel as though the last few months have been incredible. What i originally set out to do way before Christmas was to set up a live public project, utilising the 7 Sins, and a conjunction of religious imagery and their corresponding colours in a way which used the streets as a canvas; something that didn't seem to be working out for me. However many different styles i attempted to use to convey the aesthetics i had in mind, nothing seemed to be delivering in the way i knew i was capable of. It had substance, but it didn't have any context. So it became apparent that i needed to take a step back and look how i could use my practice, use my position and utilise what field I was especially effective in in order to get the bets out of my third year.

And it became apparent to me, my tutors and everyone involved that my most successful time was collaborating with Starbucks Coffee, a multi-million point company, who were letting me design an advertising scheme for them and use the window facing the town hall as a canvas - an incredible feat to achieve in second year. So what was to say i couldn't step it up a gear and push this boat out just an inch further than it was already sailing? Why stop there when there was further potential?

So low and behold, after a lot of hard thinking and going back over old ground, i took my research on anthropomorphism, religious imagery and Sacred Geometry, of which i had also touched upon in my dissertation - and proceeded to commercialise the topic. I had looked into human emotions taking on animalistic personas throughout religion, and the use of animals throughout Dante’s Inferno and the Bible - and so what i came away with was animalistic designs, formed of triangles and polygons, following on research of animalistic characteristic representation, low-poly artists and geo-contextual sculptures. What i had found was a way in which i could utilise everything i had studied in both sides of the module and make something which was not starting a fresh project, but rather continuing with what i had been successful with at a second year standard - and turned it up to give it everything that i had, to squeeze the most potential out of it. 

The designs were met with an incredibly warm reception, and not only were they willing to back them being used for several events which was incredible (as long as i was present in store, due to copyright AND health and safety reasoning), the District Manager Adam was more than happy for me to continue to use the window as a canvas - and so we decided the best thing for me to do and the most effective would be to follow up the designs of the cup, by having the low-poly elephant up in the window for the world to see - which is just an incredible opportunity! So, thats where it stayed. 

The cups were used for the Cold Craft event that was taking a whistle-stop tour of England and landed in the Colmore store the same week i got them printed, so that opportunity fell right into my lap. I love the principal that everything has stemmed from my research into the 7 sins and the animal characteristics - and all this time, I've kept in the vain of using the streets as a canvas. Maybe not in the most obvious sense - but people will take these cups. Some will save them as reusable cups, some will use them to hold pens and loose change...others will throw them.

And believe it or not?

I encourage people to throw them. Because I made the decision to have my Instagram and Twitter handle type-faced onto the design of the cup. and granted, some people are going to have a browse first hand, but my theory is that this works both ways - if people throw them away or on the floor and this gets noticed by a passerby, then thats only another opportunity for my handle to fall into the hands of someone in high power. That person might just be the person to take my career as an artist/designer to new levels.

I feel as though my time at University has been incredible, and I've evolved so far as an artist and a designer - but i find myself falling into the latter. The idea that id rather see my work out in the open world rather than in a gallery speaks volumes. But this project has taught me more than the last 2 years ever have - they have taught me incredible people skills. 

Ive learnt how to broaden my horizons when it comes to designing, and how to accommodate for the needs of the company whilst at the same time keeping in tune with my own designs and blueprints. 

Ive learnt skills i never had before which have put me in good stead for the future - how to design and effectively print a decal at a standard that a multi-million pound company are willing to use. 

I’ve learnt that not everything comes to you first time around - it takes time for projects to evolve and show their true colours, and become something that blooms into a project which is something which your heart is well and truly poured into. 

But most of all, I've learnt that in retrospect, everything built up towards this final project, and it was always going to be this lane that i went down. It was inevitable. I went from illustrating and drawing  a few sketches to designing for Starbucks Coffee and using my cups to sell coffee at my Art and Design degree show at Birmingham City University Art College, a world famous building. Its incredible, and I'm humbled to even be in this position. One thing this project has taught me is to never hold back and keep pushing forward - my project may have changed so many times but it is clear now that they all stayed true to the field in what I clearly specialise in.

My time at Birmingham City University has been well and truly incredible, and i feel that this project, this collaborative that i have taken part in, has only put me in good stead for the future in the sense of skills, contacts and job opportunities. Its been so fruitful - I've been offered by the District Manager the incredible chance to work on several other stores, and in turn connect each Starbucks store in Birmingham with my designs - something that could only of come off the back of a project like this. 

I really do hope that something comes out of this - it's been an amazing journey that i don't think i could possibly begin to put into words, but i just hope that from here on in, my art takes me somewhere. I don't want to study for 3 years to waste it away and not utilise a talent - I'm going to strive to use this to my full advantage and continue to push on, and perform to the best of my abilities. The world is my oyster, so to speak...and like i said, life begins after coffee. So I suppose life begins now.
