and the shouyou body takasugi took over just had a normal ass stab wound thats easy street hes fine now. but the utsuro body oboro took over was 1. largely metaphorical 2. also stabbed 3. more importantly underwent ego death something bad. so oboro's still on borrowed time he just gets enough to hang out with everyone until they get bored of him after a month and then he goes crawls in the woods and dies. one more time

I guess I'm mostly talking about how (western) society is so individualistic and there isn't a real sense of community. u can't depend on anyone and until you get lucky and find a person to spend your life with you're pretty much just alone because you know your friends and family always have someone better. but it doesnt HAVE to be this way we could all love and take care of each other. and then even old grumpy men with no kids or wife or friends would still be loved and looked after yknow. but it's a very everyone for themselves kinda vibe right now except for like maybe your romantic partner and kids. which ONCE AGAIN begs the question what if you dont have either of those things?
