Hey, so i'm a lip-gloss girl and i've always thought wetter is a better look for lips , but i'm starting to get a little tempted by a few of the less dry looking liquid lipsticks , so i was wondering if you have a fave liquid lipstick? Right now i'm looking at the Kat Von D ones and Lime crime plushies. Do you own any of these? Your lips always look beautiful, so i feel like you're a good person to ask about the formula and how these feel.

So I’ve been more gloss focused lately, at least layering w it which cuts down on dryness so I’m having to rely on like memories and my standing impressions of thingss.

As far as the ones you’ve mentioned. I think kat Von d is a good choice. I have a bunch and compared to my collection overall they are prolly pretty mid range regarding dryness. Lasts well over all. I like them. Lots of colors. And I was able to get a set w lots of smaller size ones which was like perfect. As far as line crime, I’ve never tried them bc in my mind they had drama about something so I’ve just avoided it.

Generally I’ve found the more drying the more staying power. So middle of the road dry is usually a pretty decent choice. The tarte on and the Anastasia Beverly hill ones I have stand out as the driest. And if wear time isn’t a big concern there’s a lot of liquid lips by nyx, there soft matte lip cream is the least drying I think I have, their lip lingerie and liquid suede lip cream are good choices too. The nyx ones have less staying power but def less dry. And more affordable. I have lip maestro by Giorgio Armani that is really creamy but I haven’t worn it enough to have a good sense of it. I feel like it took a while to set.

Lately my go to liquid lipsticks have been the ones by huda beauty, they feel a little thinner (silk opaque tho) ompared to some which I like a lot. The wear and dryness are both pretty good.

I did get a sample of nars powermatte lip pigment. I don’t have the most experience with it but I remember loving it so lots. It’s a thinner feeling one again and felt so comfy. If I had more experience it’d likely be number one recommendation.
